So, I decided to take a few photos of the Danganronpa 4コマ KINGS series and compile a few of the findings I thought were funny.

I don't have everything fully translated yet, so there may be a few issues with my findings. If you find any mistakes or have anything to add, please lmk :) I'll also update this if I find things later.

All of these drawings are NOT mine. Everything comes from the 4コマ KINGS series published by Spike Chunsoft. I'm simply photographing them and sharing them with others who may not have seen them before (since the series is out of circulation). If there is any issue with my post, please inform me so that I can take appropriate action.

Fun things that you can learn from the Danganronpa 4コマ KINGS comics:

Hifumi has written, drawn, or thought of making content relating to Sayaka x Kiyoko, Aoi x Sakura (on two occasions), and Makoto x Byakuya

Toko thinks that… something… happened between Mondo and Kiyotaka in the sauna, wink wink.

Toko wrote some sort of fanfiction in relation to Byakuya, Chihiro and Mondo. Idk what it is, but the title is along the lines of "The Byakuya Family Household Sweep Away a Beautiful Girl". (Pretty sure it's a Mondo x Chihiro fic, but I could be wrong.)

^ pretty sure Syo is a heavy BL fan lol

Aoi's b00bs are so squishy, she can use them to launch herself off things.

Everyone really likes drawing pretty boy Byakuya. Like, he looks fabulous in some of these panels. Here is one of those pictures:

Hifumi has drawn gender swaps of a few of the boys, being Makoto, Byakuya, Leon, Yasuhiro, Kiyotaka, and Mondo.

Leon really wants a harem lol

Kiyoko's secret picture (from the last trial in-game) was of Class 78 hosting a cat maid cafe

Yasuhiro's secret (the motive in Chapter 2) is that he's an idiot.

Mondo, Kiyotaka and Sayaka all get along really well! So do Mondo, Kiyotaka and Chihiro :)

Mondo knows how to sew!

Mondo doesn't wear eyeliner, he just has really long eye lashes.

Mondo's hair is fluffy and bouncy :)

Makoto thinks Mondo's hair looks like a corn chip. Aoi thinks it looks like a chocolate croissant :)

Chihiro once gave Mondo a game about dogs. He loved it lol

Chihiro and Mondo have actually trained together.

^ they actually make a great team :)

(I'm pretty sure that) Kiyotaka was found guilty in a trial relating to black underwear. Unclear if he was executed or not. (This point is subject to change once I fully translate the comic.)

Kiyotaka was brainwashed by the Mono-Rangers (parody on Power Rangers) in a different comic. He became Commander Ishimaru and enforced rules and dress code in a dictator-like fashion. (Full translation is still in the works.) This is what his outfit looked like:

Kiyoko's kinda socially awkward lol, it's really cute.

Makoto has wanted to see up Kiyoko's skirt on multiple occasions.

Makoto has tried a couple of times to cheer Kiyotaka up. It does not work.

Look, there is not a problem if the antagonist freely admit that they are evil just because they like being evil IF they are competent, truly menacing and still charming. BUT... they way how they make Chloe who always said "Im Evulz" instead of seeing how "irredeemable" and "pure evil" she is... its more make Chloe a bad parody of the villain in saturday morning cartoon. Its just stupid and Chloe done nothing to make herself as competent antagonist after Miracle Queen.

Oh... those so-called "Coup de'etat" with a freaking robot ? That not even make her looks menacing or dangerous... that silly as hell and I can't any serious to see Chloe as Queen Mayor like how TA expecting to us to cementing Chloe "Pure Evulz" status

Look... there are MANY villains on Old-Saban Power Rangers that like to admit they like being evil. But instead of annoying, they still memorable and entertaining. Even the most annoying like Divatox (who admit that she is EMBODIMENT of evil) still has her own charm as is succeed to destroy Power Chamber, which leading Zordon captured.

If you want to write a villain who embraces being evil, you need to have them back up their claims and show why they are seen as pure evil. Make them a threat who is so dangerous and confident in their strength, they don't care how others see them. They gloat about their talents and revel in their victory over the heroes.

Chloe isn't a threat at all, so the whole "I'm evil, heart blacker than Don Cheadle!" bit doesn't work because it's all just hot air she can't back up on her own.

Yes actually! Forewarning tho, a lot of these videos are unwatchably bad. We were teenagers filming stuff in basements. Truth be told, I only continue to use Johnmas because we were really happy with the Power Rangers review and having him as a Mecha-Kara parody.

In about a year I'll probably upload a compilation of all the Johnmas skits again.

Source (Season 1 - April 13th 2022)

contestabile: Last summer I had to opportunity to work with an amazing crew on the @HBOMax series Our Flag Means Death @ourflaghbomax . Working on a pirate show has been a dream job of mine since I worked aboard an actual ‘pirate ship,’ the Brig Pilgrim of Dana Point, back in college at @ocean_institute . It wasn’t an actual pirate ship, but rather a replica of the Brig Pilgrim made famous from the book ‘Two Years Before the Mast.’ We did a living history program for school kids and occasionally sailed her out to Catalina. No pillaging etc. In the early weeks of the pandemic, the Pilgrim started taking on water and sank dockside. The decision was made to scrap her and while choice “parts and pieces” were saved from the dump, she was completely demolished. When I joined the crew of OFMD halfway through the series, I was able to make contact with some old colleagues from the Pilgrim to acquire some of those “parts and pieces” that were saved, one of which was the fore topsail yard arm. (second yard up on the front mast.) We were able to use this for a quick scene where the character Roach does some “yardies” and jumps off the yard. The Pilgrim had been used in film for decades. Everything from Spielberg’s Amistad, to the notorious "Ghost Galleon" in Power Rangers: Turbo, to the exploitation film She Creature and the parody Epic Movie. I even sailed her to San Pedro for a Vegas commercial before I was even working in film. Her yard arm in OFMD will likely be the last piece of her ever filmed…
