Yandere Platonic Patton Hc’s

WARNINGS- Murder, Abuse, Unhealthy relationships, Kidnapping, Things related to that.

Remember when I said he was clingy before, well now if you aren’t doing something where you can’t be held onto for you’re being held. Patton will always be touching you, or hugging you, or having you sit in his lap.

Patton is delusional and a bit clueless. He isn’t quite aware that his emotions shouldn’t be this intense. It’s best not to shatter this reality because he can become very unstable very quickly which will only make him more dangerous to others and you.

He makes you call him Dad, Papa, Dada, or even Father.(Not daddy, no, he learned his lessons with that)

You aren’t allowed to help much with baking with yandere Patton. You can stir food and help shape things, but you are NOT allowed anywhere near the oven or utensils because, “What if you hurt yourself!?”

Yandere Patton is way too over protective. He makes you use little kids utensils, hand feeds you, blows on your food, he’ll help bathe and dress you (it takes a LOT of convincing for him not to, and it’ll only work every once in a while), and he would’ve helped you with going to the bathroom but you fought really hard and had to give up other freedoms for him not to.

The other sides either won’t help because they’re also yandere, or because they don’t have to deal with the over delirious Patton, or because Patton threatened them, or because their convincing did nothing and it’s not like he’s hurting anyone. (pick your favorite reason why)

You aren’t allowed to watch anything too “grownup” or too mature.

Patton will get very upset and confused if you fight him or disobey or do something he doesn’t like. He eventually gets over it and starts giving out punishments.

Patton’s punishments usually involve being spanked, having your favorite items or activities taken away, being scolded (for very small things), or being “grounded” (being locked in a room with nothing but a bed).

Beg enough and be sweet and he’ll give you almost anything you want. He’ll even take you outside, though he’ll have a hold on you the whole time. Patton may even carry you, “so you don’t trip”.

Nicknames are given more often you’ll be called kiddo (obv.), sweetie, sweetheart, my dear girl/boy/child, sunflower, buttercup, little rascal, dreamchild, and other random names that pop into his head

He loves you so very much. Patton is somehow more scary and least scary of the sides as yanderes. Your best option is to let him do what he wants. Too much challenging will make him go crazy, so just let him love you.

If You Escape

If you do possibly find a way to escape he will literally lose his mind. He WILL find you and your escaping causes a huge lapse in his moral compass. Patton lost all self control after you’re taken. He WILL kill the person who helped (unless it was a side because then they’ll just be punished). His morals have crumbled and left a mess of obsession in its wake.

He’ll regret killing them but he has you back an that’s all that matters.

Patton will punish you severely for leaving him. Your best bet is to lie and act your ass off telling him they took you unwillingly. If you convince him Patton won’t punish you, however he has practically lost his mind. He is 10x more overbearing. You aren’t even allowed to sleep alone anymore.

You’ll want to act nicer and be more careful because this “new” Patton is unstable and very dangerous.

Punishments with him after getting you back may include breaking your bones, killing people you love, starving you, and chaining you to bedposts or walls. He hates hurting you but he won’t risk you leaving him again. Even small slip ups can cause him to lose it and punish you.

LOGAN

Coming out to Logan would be easy

"Nonbinary? So you would use They/Them pronouns correct?"

Is very helpful at explaining what pronouns to use/ educating people on the topic

Definitely the type of person read everything they can find on the topic

"Logan what are you doing?" "Reading about being nonbinary, so I can help others understand it when you come out to them."

ROMAN

He would be so supportive

Buys a bunch of nonbinary pride things

"I got this nonbinary flag for your room!"

Will murder anyone if they disrespect your pronouns

Roman would be the one to go to if your feeling sad about others not being nice or respectful to you

PATTON

This man will squeal because he's happy for you

Is literally your #1 comfort person

As soon as he knows he'll start making nonbinary dad jokes

Will 100% try to throw a coming out party for you

Overall, is a supportive person and will 100% help you with anything you need

VIRGIL

He would be so supportive

Like the others sides would think he wouldn't care

No, he is so happy that you came out

He would be nervous about accidentally calling you the wrong name or saying the wrong pronouns

If he accidentally ever did misgender you. He would lock himself in his room.

JANUS

For once he would be truthful with you when you came out

I feel like besides Logan he would be one of the most understanding of the sides

He would never stop supporting you

Asks how you have been since you came out

REMUS

Is also supportive

He 100% comes up with dirty nonbinary jokes

He is not trying to be offensive with them it's just Remus being Remus

Like Roman, Remus goes all out when it comes to pride parades

Lost In The Corn

Request: "Corn maze with the sanders sides?"

Masterlist

"Patton! Where did you go?" You meandered down the patch cut in the tall stalks of corn, searching for your friend. "I swear, if I don't find you soon, I'm just pushing through the corn and leaving you here." You grumbled to yourself in frustration, though you knew the threat was an empty one.

"Y/N," Virgil whined behind you, "how long have we been here? I want to go home."

"Believe me, Virge, I'm sick of the corn too. We can't leave without Patton, Deceit, and Remus though. No matter how tempting it sounds."

Before the anxious Side could start complaining again, your phone rang.

"Y/N?"

"I'm here, Thomas. Who have you found?"

"I've got Logan and Roman, and I think I heard Patton a few yards ahead of us. Who do you have?"

"Virgil, and I'm clueless about Deceit and Remus. Are we even sure they're still in the maze at all? They could have left?"

Virgil cried out softly when a cornstalk hit him before he sped up to stay closer to you. He hadn't been excited about splitting up in the corn maze to begin with, and not knowing where the Dark Sides were was definitely concerning.

"I don't think they did." Thomas' voice became a bit quieter as he leaned away from the phone, "Logan, how likely is it that Remus and Deceit ran off?"

Logan took the phone from Thomas to answer Y/N himself. "I don't think it's very likely that they would wander off. Knowing Remus, there's way too much inspiration for him and Deceit wouldn't let him leave the maze. It just wouldn't make sense."

"Alright Logan, I trust your logic. What do you think I can do to find them? I'm getting really sick of all this corn."

The line went quiet for a moment while Logan thought it over. Before he could respond though, Patton's voice sounded over the line, shouting to his friends in excitement.

"Y/N, VIRGIL, I FOUND A DOG IN HERE! IT'S AMAZING!!"

Y/N had to hold the phone away from her until Patton quieted down, looking back at Virgil while he sighed softly and rolled his eyes fondly at the fatherly Side's enthusiasm.

"Thomas, Logan, you've explained why he's not allowed to keep it, right? Please tell me we didn't just adopt a dog." Virgil begged the logical Side and Thomas to be helpful voices of reason.

"Of course, Virge. We're not keeping the dog, we just want to see if we run into it's owner while we look for Deceit and the twins-"

"What do you mean 'the twins'? I thought you had Roman! Where did he go?"

"That's a great question that I have no answer to. We got distracted by the dog, and now I don't know where he is."

You stopped for a moment before dropping to your knees and letting out a low screech of irritation, your face covered by your hands.

"Yeah, we're gonna have to call you back." Virgil took the phone while you let out your frustration. "Y/N's just getting a little impatient. Just meet us at the entrance to the maze in twenty minutes. Yeah, bye." He ended the call and looked down at you, sighing again and holding out a hand to help you up once you stopped screeching.

The two of you continued down the path, calling out for Deceit and the twins for another ten minutes. Virgil had taken the lead, but stopped when he heard rustling in the corn to his left.

"Virgil, why did you stop m-" you squeaked in surprise when someone burst out of the corn and plowed into you.

"Remus, get off of Y/N! And where have you been? Everyone's been looking for you!"

The Duke just laughed in response, not stopping until you had shoved him into the dirt, stood up, and brushed yourself off. Then he sat up and took a breath.

Whatever his response was going to be was cut off, though, when Roman burst out of the corn too and nearly tripped over him.

"Roman! Why did you leave Thomas and the others?"

"I will have you know," the Prince stood up and brushed himself off as you had, then continued, "I heard Remus talking to himself while the others were fawning over the dog Patton found, so I tried to go catch him, but he saw me and took off."

"Perfect. Do either of you- Remus, put that corn down right now- do either of you know where Deceit is?" Remus pouted, but put the corn down instead of trying to stick it down Virgil's shirt.

"I thought he was with you!"

"Why would he be with me, Roman? He hates me!"

"Oh, no he doesn't!"

"He hisses whenever he sees me! What about that says he likes having me around?" The four began trooping through the corn again, heading towards the entrance to see if Thomas and the others had any luck finding the dishonest Side.

"Trust me Y/N, he likes you just as much as the rest of us do! And besides, he hisses at everybody."

"He does not!"

The argument continued while Virgil glared at Remus and tried to keep him from eating the cornstalks. Before they knew it, Thomas was calling them over and Patton was running towards them.

"Y/N! We found Deceit! He was hiding in the middle of the maze." Thomas looked just as tired and you did.

"Thomas, you know I love you and the Sides, but we are never ever coming to a corn maze again."

"Agreed."

My Master Post for Sanders Sides fanfiction! These are arranged chronologically from newest to oldest, measured by the date they were completed and uploaded in full, so that will reflect the quality here. (there’s a ton more under the cut btw).

Fast Friends - ao3... (15k Remus-centric intruality, lopsided enemies to friends to lovers, humor and a bit of angst with a happy ending. tw; emetophobes beware!) Patton doesn't like Remus, until one day, he does! Well, Remus isn't buying it. So Remus is not about to be friends with him just because he wants to (no matter how much it maybe, kind of wouldn't mind that).

I’m Not Sorry - ao3... (6k remus-centric intrulogical. continuation of Did You Miss Me. Dead Dove: Do Not Eat.) Remus just wanted to get home safe to his wonderful, loving boyfriend. If some greaseball guy thinks he can screw that up, then Remus is perfectly willing to let the night take a turn for the vengeful.

Redamancy - ao3... (5k romantic prinxiety, fluffy friends to lovers with a smidgen of misunderstanding.) Virgil is undoubtedly excited about Nico. The thing is, that’s not the only person he’s excited about.

Did You Miss Me? - ao3... (13k romantic intrulogical, unhealthy relationship and mutual stalking treated light-heartedly. Dead Dove: Do Not Eat). Logan and Remus haven’t spoken in years. But that doesn’t stop them from keeping up with each other, through... various means.

The Down (and up)-side of Individual Expression - ao3... (8k romantic logince, angst w/ a happy ending, prosey and dealing w/ some kinda touchy subject matter vis a vis body image). As the sides have taken on vastly differing appearances over the years, Roman and Logan find themselves incredibly attracted in body and mind to each other. The issue is, Logan still has some trouble believing it.

Tree Bark and Fresh Fruit - ao3... (Fusion AU part six! romantic royality fusion returns for some prose and a lil bit of h/c). Patron doesn't come around often, getting lost in the excitement of Patton and Roman's new romantic relationship- so when she gets a shot to exist again, he's determined to make the most of it by figuring out just what the heck he's supposed to be.

Bitter Licorice and Bright-Blue Bubblegum - ao3... (Fusion AU part five! analogical fusion is back!) Logan and Virgil end up fusing much more regularly, much to Livril's satisfaction at getting to exist, and virtually every other side's chagrin at having to put up with them. Everyone, it seems, but Patton.

Scary Monsters and Family Bonds - ao3... (Fusion AU part four! Platonic anxceitmus with romantic dukeceit, short and mostly meaningless.) Rennet, freshly born like five seconds ago, is desperate to find some people to bother and/or amaze. But instead, Rennet finds an attachment that nobody quite expected to be so intense, but hey, it's not complaining, and neither is Virgil.

Acceptable Behavior - ao3... Remus is surprisingly concerned about his boyfriend's boundaries. (short & sweet intruality drabble. p/ much just cuddling)

On Truth and Untruth - ao3... Janus is allowed to participate in the group, and that is more than enough for them. Not too bad of a change up, really, and they aren't going to complain about it any time soon. Patton, however, insists on throwing a wrench into their system- their perfectly functioning, if maybe hypothetically a bit lonely, system. (28k word janus-centric romantic moceit and platonic dlampr, lots of angst and lots of yearning, with a happy ending. something of a character study.)

I Taste Honey but I Haven’t Seen the Hive - Chap.1, Chap.2, Chap.3, Chap.4, Chap.5, Chap.6, Chap.7, Chap.8, Chap.9 - ao3... (Finished!) Patton doesn't think of himself as misunderstood. More accurately, he's not very good at explaining himself. Remus explains himself perfectly well, succinct, confident. People are just bad at listening. Patton is lonely. He'd never say it out loud. No one knows. Remus is lonely. He says it in everything he does. No one knows. They're similar. They're different as can be. Contradictory, maybe; complimentary, definitely. They could be good for each other- they just need to explain it right. (hurt/comfort, eventual queer-platonic intruality, a healthy amount of angst).

Sharp Spikes and Glamour - ao3... (part three of my Fusion AU! a little angstier and racier than the others, but that’s thanks to the dukeceit dynamic, and its nothing too bad). Now, just a month ago, Remus could very confidently say that his and Janus’ relationship was perfect. And it still was, really, but that was before Roman and Patton had pulled some cartoon fusion bullshit that exactly no one had known was possible. There was no question. Remus was going to learn to do that.

Squishy, Precious Lil’ Baby! - ao3... Very short, platonic intruality fluff. Remus turns into a rat for a scare, but Patton is very unafraid of him in the new form.

Black Cloth and Star Systems - ao3... (Almost 4k fluff, part two of my Fusion AU! Very heavy on the descriptions, and also the Love that these two Have.) After Patton and Roman fuse, Logan can't help but feel desperately curious about this new discovery, and the possibilities of fusion between sides. But, his interest is a little more personal than he could stand to admit... Because what if- what if he could try it, too?

Soft Walls and Roses - ao3... (Part one of my Fusion AU! Fluffy, sweet, and prose-y. Abt 3k.) On a nice, cheery day, Roman and Patton get a little lost in a dance <3.

Communication Issues (Alternative Title: Three Touch-Starved, Insecure, Metaphysical Beings Constantly Misinterpreting Each Other and Yet Somehow Falling in Love)- Chap.1, Chap.2, Chap.3, Chap.4 + Epilogue - ao3... (Finished!) What do you do when you find someone crying, and it’s all your fault? What do you say when you hear the muffled sobs and frantic words behind the blood-red door? When you know that, no matter how much you never wanted to hurt him- never wanted to hurt anyone- you still did. Is there anything you can do to fix it, when you’ve spent so long pretending that nothing was broken? When you’ve spent so long pretending that you didn’t care if things were broken or not? (Second Person, Present Tense. H/C slowburn. romantic analogince. Note: this is not an ‘x reader’ fic, it’s just 2nd person pov.)

A Study in the Pains of Romance as a Genre - ao3... Logan wasn’t 'insecure', by most measures. Sure, he wasn't exactly in love with himself, but he knew the harm that came of self-deprecation, and was careful to avoid it. At the worst of times, he could solidly be called 'self-neutral'. Therefore, it followed that Logan was being entirely objective when he said that he would not be a good enough romantic partner for Roman. (Friends to Lovers, abt 4k, romantic logince).

I Like You, Say It Back. - ao3... Short, sweet, slightly angsty first ‘I Love You’ between Virgil and Remus. romantic dukexiety.

A Misplaced Imbalance of Fear - ao3... almost 7k friends to lovers fastburn, in that this happens in a day. Set during/right after Putting Others First, a little peak into what Virgil and Remus were doing. Hint; being a little sad and very gay. romantic dukexiety.

The Ballroom - ao3... Every side has a room, but they also come with a special domain, completely individualized to each one. Of these Extensions, the only room that no side (other than its owner) has ever seen is Janus’. At least, until he falls head-over-heels for Roman and finally lets him in. (romantic roceit).

Hypothetically, - ao3... Nearly 7k friends to lovers, with a hearty helping of platonic logince. Logan likes to use the Imagination for experiments, but he can’t manage to use it on his own. The solution is obvious. (romantic intrulogical).

No Other Version of Me - ao3... Patton isn’t very happy about his new froggy features, but Janus finds him gorgeous all the same. Hurt/comfort! romantic moceit.

It's been a while since you and Thomas were friends, and seeing the sides was nothing more than an ordinary tuesday night. Well, that is until you met the rest of the 'dark' sides. And honestly? You never were to judge them so quickly. Even Virgil himself refers to them as the 'others', despite being the one who dislikes them the most, but there has to be a reason, right?

Anyways, you were trying to comfort all the sides after whatever just happened. With Janus suddenly getting accepted and Roman having a breakdown, not to mention Patton starting to doubt himself and Logan who's beginning to think he's replaced and/or unwanted, the mind palace is a mess.

But there is a certain side you haven't seen a lot today- which is kinda weird considering he's the loudest of them all, and it kinda worried you. With how the world turned upside down, the last thing you wanted was to see him suddenly turned gloomy-; so you looked for him, top or bottom, in and out. You made sure every place is checked. The mind palace- heck, Thomas' place in general is quiet. No bickering, no yelling, no songs, it's empty; almost unrecognizable. And with that you took a step further, going into his room.

Remus' room was awfully dark, not like what it's used to. He would always have weird creations or flashy super-gosh-darn-bright lights on to annoy whoever came into his room. So this is unusual. Without thinking, you turned on the lights, and in the corner of your eye you can see him at the edge of his bed, startled. He doesn't even seem to notice you're getting into his room, which is again; unusual.

He immediately fixed his posture when he realized you're in his room, grabbing the nearest notebook and a big spiky slimy pen, acting as if he was working on something the whole time. "Hello, (y/n)!" He said cheerily, summoning his normal gigantic creepy-esque smile he normally has. "Sneaking up on me in the dark eh? That's awfully dangerous of you~" He gave another smile, the type where you would roll your eyes on him. You brushed off whatever he just said, walking towards him in confusion.

"I haven't been seeing you anywhere, were you here the whole time?" You asked, raising a brow. He furrowed his own brows at the question, before shrugging both of his shoulders. "Why of course, why wouldn't i be?" He shot back, looking at you with another one of his quizzical looks. "I don't know, you were always the loudest of the bunch, so i assumed something's wrong when you didn't even make a peep."

He tensed, blinking a few times as if thinking of what he was supposed to say. When he looked back at you, it's almost he's choking out words just to make it seem real, funnily enough you see through his facade. "Awww did you miss me?" "That's it? No comebacks? Or rhetorical questions? This isn't like you Remus." You folded your arms, daring him to continue. He gulped a little, before somehow his emotions just.. Fell off. And he goes back to his notebook.

"I was writing down ideas for me to use, which just like Roman or how Creativity works in general, will need time and energy. So there's my reason, are you happy?" He said in a monotone voice. Avoiding your gaze and kept his stare to the stacks of papers in his hand, you didn't seem to believe him though.

"Who in the world writes ideas down in complete darkness?" You pushed again. Remus looked at you and gave an unamused look, raising an eyebrow of his towards both you and your question. "You do realize who you're talking to right?" He answered, or well, asked. "Yeah, but this isn't... You." words came out of your mouth like lava as you tried forcing it out. Remus thankfully noticed this, he puts down his little book and moved towards you, sighing as he finally gives you his full attention.

"Really? Tell me, (y/n), what am i like?"

"I don't know... You were always loud, all over the place, dare i say cheerful. Seeing you like this just doesn't spell 'Remus' to me."

He gave a little sigh again, before chuckling. But then that chuckle turns to giggles, that turns into laughs. You don't know exactly what he's laughing about, so you tried asking him about it.

"What's so funny?"

"Everything! Absolutely everything is hilarious!" He breathed out in between his howling laughs, you were too afraid to ask further, afraid that.. That you pushed an unwanted button. "Oh gosh! I can't believe this!" His laughter ceased after some time, leaving you still stoned on your spot.

"You're so nice (y/n), too fucking nice actually." His hair is messy, way more than usual. He wipes a 'tear' away with his hand, breathing steadily as to not break into another laughing fit. "You're like, the only person who actually cares about me now!" He chuckled again, this time with a headshake to accompany it.

"Wha-? No! Of course not, Janus cares about you, don't he?"

"Oh, yeah, sure, whatever. I mean, he's 'accepted' by Thomas now, so i can't really expect anything from him." He shrugged oh so calmly as if thoughts like that doesn't even remotely hurt him anymore, but it hurted you. "What? So you're not even gonna admit that you're lonely? Or even bored?" You pressed him - although with a gentle voice, somehow feeling your own heart shatter at the thought of him being left alone. Not enough to make you cringe or summon a tear. But enough to make you clenched your heart if only he isn't with you.

"What? You're kidding me?" He snickered, looking at you almost amused by your answer. "Me? Lonely? Bored? Pfft-- Look, me wanting attention? HAH, that's normal! Me being desperately touch starved? Eh, i can work with it. But me being lonely-? And bored?! I can easily wreck Roman's day and that's enough for me to have a good laugh for about a week, not including the teasing and-"

"Wait a minute, you're touch starved..?" You asked slowly, looking at him. He was lost for a second before the flustered look finds itself on his face after a few flying moment. "W-what?! No! What are you talking about? Where did you even heard that? Of course not you silly billy!" he waved his hand at you, defensively, and looks away in an attempt to quietly curse himself.

You sighed. Feeling as if you were gonna giggle at his own dumbfounded reaction but in the same time just wanna cuddle and wrap yourself around him, which is kinda weird since you and Remus isn't /that/ close. Sure you guys laugh over immature things, and maybe mess around with Roman a little, but he isn't your go-to when something were to came up. But now? You just felt as if you were to comfort him...

Screw it.

And with that, you immediately made it your priority for Remus to feel appreciated, or well- wanted. You sprung up from your position and immediately grab the blanket he has which is trashed on the floor. Before using it however, you shook the blanket up and down to get rid of the dusts on it, and immediately pushed Remus down on his bed. You did the same thing to yourself and layed down beside him, covering both of you with the blanket and cuddling close to him.

Though Remus only watched, he watched you with an amused gaze. Small smiles turning to a giant grin as you making yourself close to him, and slowly after that he spoke up with his usually high pitched voice, didn't bother to move away from you. "Not what i expected, but great nonetheless!" His hand wrapped around your body dangerously and you can only give him a warning glare, he acted out as though he wasn't doing it intentionally but come on, hand perfectly landed on your ass? Yeah, no.

You moved his arm up, landing it on your waist. And even though he gave you a little whine, he slowly shuts up when you just kept him close, giving him a dose of affection to cure him from being touch starved. He didn't even say anything after that, not sure from the sleepiness or if he just doesn't want to ruin the moment, but the silence was definitely comforting. Your hand reached his messy hair, running through his locks to calm him even more, which in a way kinda worked. And in a count of minutes, he dozed off, small snores coming through him. You can feel yourself dozing off too, smiling at the sight of him being so relaxed in your touch. That's it until you discover something under your pillow.

Two deodorants tucked neatly under it, brand new and untouched. You knew he loves eating these stuff, as gross as that is, and yet you can only giggle at the thought of him having 'snacks' right under his pillows.

Well, he's definitely a dork.

And the good kind.

Platonic Patton Hc’s

You’re his kid now. He’s the dad friend, and it’s, simply, how it is.

Patton will coddle you. All he wants is to talk, hug, and snuggle with you.

Patton will bake with you and will often surprise you with food. He is also always checking to make sure you’ve been eating and drinking. Patton isn’t concerned with what you’ve eaten just that you have and that you’ve eaten plenty.

Give him stuffed animals. He’ll love them. Patton will become less clingy in the long run having something to snuggle when he can’t with you. Whatever you give him he cherishes with all his being.

Patton has and will make more friendship bracelets. You have to wear it or it’ll make him feel unwanted. Just do it. Wear it as an anklet if you have to, but just wear it.

You and Patton will be having a lot of tea parties and movie nights. You’ll scrapbook and play pattoncake.

He always has random pieces of candy he is sharing, and he’ll be ecstatic if you gave him some candy you have bought.

Patton also carries a first-aid kit for accidents because he also tends to be clumsy and needs band-aids from time to time. However Patton will panic and coddle if you get hurt.

He WILL fight you with love if you insult yourself.

Patton is always offering help even when he is busy or if you don’t need help.

He gets so excited and happy when you make puns. So make puns when he’s upset. Give him dad-jokes. Give him jokes.

Patton loves when you laugh or smile. It makes him feel proud if he is the reason you are. I mean, he loves all of you, but his favorite thing is making you smile and laugh.

Please compliment him. He may not show it but Patton is sensitive and self-conscious. Show him you love him. He needs to know you love him back as much as he loves you.

He really enjoys playing video games and board games with you and the other sides.

Obviously he calls you kiddo, but other nicknames are Sunflower (because your’re so bright and beautiful/handsome) and Buttercup (because you’re so sweet and cute).

Patton is always there for you no matter what. He will be your best friend forever.

It’s Not You it’s Me: Patton x Reader

Summary: You feel like Patton is too good for you so you ask the other sides about whether or not you should break up with him.

Words: 700+

Warnings: Low key depressed reader

Author’s Notes: This is my first time writing Sanders’ Sides so I hope you like it! It’s very wholesome and kinda cheesey lol

“So, what was it you needed to tell us, Y/N?” Logan asked.

Roman sighed, “Yes, please get on with it, I was in the middle of something very important,”

“Do you really have to make everything about you?” Virgil muttered, rolling his eyes.

“I’m sorry, but Thomas has been working on something that requires my full attention-“

“Can’t you see they’re clearly upset?”

“Yes, of course! I’m just saying-“

“I’M BREAKING UP WITH PATTON!” you finally let out, immediately bursting into tears.

“…oh,” Roman goes silent. No one quite knows what to say.

“Forgive me for my lack of understanding, but why exactly would you do that? There’s certainly no reason to,”

“That’s why I wanted to talk to you guys first,” you sniffle, barely able to hold back the tears enough to speak. “Obviously, you’ve know him a lot longer than I have, so I wanted your advice before I make a final decision,”

“Well,” Logan sinks down for a moment and returns with a whiteboard and markers. He draws a T-chart titled “Breaking Up with Patton” and writes “Pros” on one side and “Cons” on the other. “Let’s do this,”

“Why do we need to do math to figure this out? Obviously Patton’s heart will be broken so they can’t go through with this!” Roman exclaims.

“This…isn’t…math,”

“Whatever! Put Patton’s shattered heart on the cons side!”

“GUYS!” Virgil shouts. “I can’t believe I’m saying this, but maybe we shouldn’t jump to conclusions and let them explain the situation?”

“You’re right,” Logan sets the whiteboard down. “We’re sorry, Y/N, please continue,”

“He didn’t do anything wrong, if that’s what you’re worried about,” you say, wiping a few tears from your cheeks. “I guess that’s kind of the problem. I feel like I’m a burden to him, he’s always putting my needs before his own and I feel like I’m holding him back from being happy because he’s so focused on making me happy. He’s too good to be true and he deserves better than me,”

“Isn’t that exactly what love is?” Logan objects. Everyone stares at him. “What? I know how feelings work,”

“I mean, he’s not wrong,” Roman agrees.

“Look, emotions are simply a complex combination of chemicals in your brain and body, but what you just described is what many cultures would call compassionate, unconditional love,”

“Oh the romance!”

“Actually, this form of love isn’t necessarily romantic. In many cases it is, but it is also very commonly found in familial as well as platonic relationships,”

“You guys still aren’t helping,” Virgil rolls his eyes. “Y/N, I know exactly what you’re going through. I’m Thomas’s main source of doubts and those definitely get worse during relationships. The truth is, you’re always going to feel like you’re not good enough for people. You’re always going to wonder whether or not someone would be better off without you. But I’ve seen how Patton is with you,” tears start falling from your eyes again. “Throughout Thomas’s life, Patton’s had to fake being happy many times. But he’s never faking it around you. He genuinely loves you and cares about you with every inch of himself and I can’t imagine him ever thinking you’re a burden to him,”

“Y/N?” you whip your head around to see none other than your boyfriend Patton.

“How long have you been standing there?”

“Just a little bit…”

“How much did you hear?”

“I uh, I think I heard everything,”

“Oh,”

“Are you, are you going to break up with me?” the other sides sink down to give you guys some privacy. You can’t even bring yourself to answer, you just shake your head and the tears start flowing again. Patton opens his arms and you fall into them very ungracefully, sobbing into his chest. “I love you so much, okay?”

You mumble an inaudible “I love you too,”

“I’m so sorry that you felt like I wasn’t happy enough with you. You’re everything to me, okay? I’ll do anything to help you believe that,” he wraps his arms around you tighter and kisses your head, letting you cry it out.

You end up falling asleep cuddling on the couch, covered in blankets and smiles on your faces.

All Because Of A Hoodie -Platonic Sides x fem!reader

A/N: First time writing Sanders Sides, please be nice.

Word count: 1211

Summary: The hoodie came back...without the owner

“Depression!” Remus yells. Said girl tumbles down the stairs. “Thanks,” She says dryly. “Virgil’s about to leave. I thought you’d want to say bye,” Remus responds. Depression runs down to where Virgil was standing. “Do you have to go?” she asks. “Unfortunately. Don’t worry sis, you’ll be alright.” Virgil says. Depression stands there. “Take this,” She says handing him her hoodie. Virgil smiles and puts it on. “(Y/n), let him leave.” Deceit says. She huffs at this. “Don’t worry,” Virgil says. “I’ll be back before you know it.”

Deceit stared at the doorway. Him and Remus sat at the kitchen table while trying to block out the sounds of crying from the girl upstairs. (Y/n)’s hoodie appeared in the living room. They turn to the stairs when they hear someone coming down. (Y/n) has her hoodie on, and her eyes are red and puffy. “He’s not coming back, is he?” (Y/n) asks. Deceit and Remus look at each other before back at the teary-eyed girl. “I don’t think so.” Deceit finally says. The three move into the living room and sit on the couch. “Why don’t we bring them all here. Just to make them see what he’s done.” Remus says. “No Rem. Don’t do that. You’ve already scarred them enough.” (Y/n) says.

Thomas is sitting on the couch. He has no motivation to do anything. He feels so….depressed. The sides all appear. “Thomas, you need to get up. You haven’t done anything all day.” Logan says. “I know…I just feel so sad and tired. No motivation at all.” Thomas says. Virgil looks up. “It’s her.” He mumbles. “What?” Roman says. “Depression,” Virgil says. He flinches when he realizes that he hadn’t seen her hoodie in his room for a few days. “I’ll be right back,” He says. He sinks down to his room. He panics when he couldn’t find it. He rises back up. “This is my fault,” he says immediately. “What?” Thomas asks. “My sister, she’s Depression. I told them I’d be back, I promised her. And my hoodie was hers. I changed to the new one but kept hers in my room. It’s gone, which means it was sent back to her, and I haven’t seen her for a while, and I promised them-” “Virgil, calm down, and slow down. Now explain,” Logan says. “The Dark Sides. I used to be one of them. There was originally four of us. “Deceit, Remus, me and Depression. I was sent here by Deceit and Remus. I promised I’d be back before they knew it. It was Depression’s hoodie I always wore. It wasn’t there, meaning it was sent back to them. And even though she’s always present in your mind, she begins to take effect when she’s upset. So we need to wait this out.” Virgil says. “Is there any way we could speed it up?” Roman asks. “Yeah, can’t we go talk to her? If she’s your sister she should like us!” Patton says. “She’s always with Remus and Deceit. If you want to talk to her we have to go to the Darkscape, and I don’t think I’m welcome anymore.” Deceit rises up. “Oh, I wouldn’t be so sure. You aren’t welcome, but if you and everyone else came for a visit, I don’t think the others would object.” Deceit says before sinking down. “Are we really going to trust the word of Deceit?!” Virgil asks. “To stop this? I’m willing,” Logan says. Thomas stands up and walks to them. “How do we get to them?” he asks. “Think about everything they represent. Lies, depression, intrusive thoughts.” Virgil says. They sink down, and all appear in a place that looks like Thomas’s front yard. “This is the Darkscape,” Virgil says. The stars were shining in the cloudless sky. “It looks nice for such a morbid name,” Thomas says. “Yeah. It was never bad here. We just call it the Darkscape because that’s what we are. The Dark Sides.” Virgil says. The five men walk into the house and Virgil immediately looks around for the photo that hung in the hallway. His eyes saw it and a small smile breaks on his face. It was of the four of them, and they looked happy. Before they sent Virgil to spy on the Light Sides. “Deceit? Remus? I need Depression!” Virgil yells. It echos in the silent house. There is the sound of a sob before someone dressed in black bolts out of the living room and up the stairs. “You come into our house for the first time since you disappeared and call your sister, who is like this because of you, Depression? Wow. We knew you had sunk low but this is something else.” Remus says. He nods at Roman. “Why would he use her name? She hasn’t given it, nor given us any reason to use it even if she had.” Roman says. “Oh, Virgil knows her name. And I’d think he had plenty reason to use it.” Deceit snarls. Virgil walks to the stairs. “I’ll go talk to her.” He says. “You upset her even more, she knows how to fight-” Remus is cut off. “I know firsthand,” Virgil says, before disappearing up the stairs. “Well boys, make yourselves at home.” Deceit says.

Virgil’s hand trembles a bit before knocking on the door. “Go away, Remus!” (Y/n) shouts. “I-um...I’m not Remus,” he says. He hears a gasp before the door opens a sliver. A tear-filled eye appears in the crack. “Why?” She asks. The one word breaks Virgil’s heart with all the questions in it. Why did he leave? Why didn’t he come back? Why didn’t he act like he cared? “I was frightened. Scared of what would happen between me and the Light’s if I came back. This was our one chance to finally be accepted. And as long- as long as I didn’t screw it up we all could’ve been accepted. But they grew on me. And I couldn’t do anything about it.” Virgil says. “You could have at least let us know you were alright!” (Y/n) says, opening the door fully, and letting Virgil in. The room was mostly decorated with band posters, with a few fandom ones placed in as well. “Why did you come back? Because I know sure as hell that it wasn’t for any of us.” (Y/n) says. “Thomas started feeling depressed. I knew it was you, and it was probably because of the hoodie.” Virgil says. (Y/n) nods. “I tried. I really tried Virgil. But I can’t control it.” (Y/n) says breaking down. Virgil rushes forward. “Hey, I’ve got you.I’m back. And if I leave I promise I’m gonna come back.” Virgil says. “How do I know? How do I know it’s not another lie?” (Y/n) asks. “Because I did come back. Just a lot later than expected.” Virgil says. The two siblings walk downstairs to find all the Sides and Thomas on the couch with the Nightmare Before Christmas playing. Remus has a blanket covering him. “Hey, that’s mine!” (Y/n) says. “Suck it, sweetheart. Mine now.” Remus says. Next thing Remus knows he’s on the ground. Virgil smiles. Nothing had changed.

“Hey gang~!” Thomas sang as he stepped into the commons room with you in tow. “I have a friend here who I think you all would love to meet!”

One by one, the Sides popped up, appearing in their respective areas, curious looks on each of their faces. However, upon seeing you, a wide smile stretched across Roman’s features as he made his way over to you.

“Why hello, my darling~” He greeted, taking your hand and kissing the back of it. You giggled softly in response. “Awh, you really are such a sweetheart like you are in the videos, Ro.”

The prince’s expression shifted and he stared at you in shock. “Wha..What did you just call me? “S-Sweetheart”?” A slight blush dusted his cheeks, while the other Sides look on, baffled.

Thomas chuckled nervously. “A-Ah, uh..I don’t know if you guys have ever noticed but…over the years [y/n]’s called me all sorts of sweet nicknames. She does that with almost everybody she meets.”

“And they’re all so cute! It’s enough to put a smile on a stranger’s face~!” Patton squealed as he ran over to you. “So tell me, kiddo, am I still the so-called “cinnamon roll?” He clasped his hands together in anticipation.

“Yep,” you smiled. “You’re still the sweetest cinnamon roll, honey.”

While the parental Side was still cooing over the nicknames, your gaze went to Logan’s. He blinked in confusion when he noticed you were looking his way. “Well,” he huffed, adjusting his glasses. “I don’t exactly see how these “endearing nicknames” are suppose to get me flustered or anything of the sort.”

Then he looked at Patton and Roman. “Does…anyone else find it odd that we only met [y/n] not even five minutes ago and she’s already-?”

“Man, you really are a cutie, Lo,” you chuckled softly.

“…..I-I..ah…” Now it was his turn to blush a little. Although he cleared his throat and fiddled with his tie. “F-Falsehood..that statement is..i-incorrect… because…..whew..is it..warm in here or is it just me?” He looked around the room, smiling nervously.

Hearing some mumbling and grumbling, you turned your attention now to the Side sitting on the stairs. He quirked an eyebrow, but did not move as you went over to sit beside him.

After a few long moments of silence, he finally spoke. “So um..you got a knack for giving total strangers nicknames, huh? You know how creepy that could-”

“Nah, I don’t find it creepy in the slightest.” You shrugged in response. “But..knowing that you’re anxiety and all that, would it be okay if I called you “angel”?”

Virgil blinked with surprise. “”Angel”, huh? W-Well ah..” He gave you a tiny smile. “I guess that’s fine. Better than “Charlie Frown” or “Incredible Sulk”.” Then he shot a glance at Roman, who frowned back at him.

You simply giggled at the Sides, and then your gaze went to Thomas’.

Least to say, he was getting a good chuckle out of this whole situation. You managed to make all of his personalities so flustered with just simple, endearing nicknames.

Your sweetness did, indeed, have that kind of charm.

It was kind of hard to befriend him at first, but when he realized how calm you make Thomas feel, he was more accepting of you

You love his sense of style and you even steal his jacket on some occasions

Whenever he gets really panicked about something, you help him come up with little things that prove he's okay

He stays in corners to avoid people when there are lots of others around, and you're more than happy to stay in the corner with him, which puts him at ease

He isn't big on hugs, but he doesn't mind holding hands or letting you runs your fingers through his hair

If he has a tough day and worries over Thomas more than usual, you'll sit in his room with him and listen to music together while he sprawls out on your lap like a cat

Because he still wants to feel like he's at least a little bit scary, he gives you jumpscares sometimes

It's nothing major since he doesn't want to upset you

He'll just stand behind you while you read and touch your shoulder right as you turn a page or say your name just after you turn off your music to startle you a little bit
