Platonic Logan Hc’s

Will ask you for help in experiments or even for you to be one.

Logan always has a first-aid kit and snacks for any situation any of you may be in.

He is always making sure you are taking good care of yourself. Logan wants to know you have been eating, preferably healthy, and that you have been staying hydrated.

Logan will scold you for your lack of care anytime you get hurt while he patches you up. He will also scold you for unhealthy eating, not drinking enough, or not sleeping properly.

You two will stargaze, storm chase, do puzzles, watch documentaries, do experiments, just sit near each other while reading, vent to each other and offer advise, and he will always be down to help tutor or teach you something new or learn something new with you.

Do NOT play trivia or scrabble with him. He will kick your butt (unless you’re on par with him or freakishly smart).

Logan definitely taught you different languages curse words so you could curse around Patton.

If you drink you two will drink wine together. If you don’t or even if you do you two will have tea together. Logan really enjoys these times because it gives you both time to talk about whatever is on your minds.

You both most likely have a small book club and the only other member would be Janus.

Give Logan compliments on his smarts or on him in general. He gets insecure and feels ignored a lot. Show him how much you appreciate him.

Give him time and slowly build on physical affection. Over time he gets used to it and even loves it. Once he is comfortable with it you both will cuddle while reading or watching those documentaries.

When he is really stressed, angry, or feels unloved and ignored he will come to you seeking hugs.

Also give him a pat on the back when he does something good or really smart. It makes him feel good.

At first he won’t give you a nickname. Eventually he’ll start calling you his Lab Partner. Not long after that in private he’ll call you Starlight. He has only slipped up once and called you his lab partner in front of the others. It went sort of like this,

Logan- “I really don’t care what you’re doing I need my lab partner.”

The Others- “OoooooH”

He never lived that down or made that mistake again.

Logan only wears his onsie around you. It takes a lot of convincing and telling the others to keep their mouths shut to get him to wear it around the others on movie night.

Kind of like that one joke that goes around, if you give him a friendship bracelet/ring/necklace he’ll act like it’s stupid but then never take it off. If it breaks he’ll never forgive himself. He will apologize profusely. Please give him a new one, he’ll still be upset but he will cherish this one as well.

He will never actually say it but he shows how much he truly loves you. You mean so much to him. You can see it in his face and his actions, so love him like he loves you. He deserves it.

Artificial Heart!Patton being solo is all well and good. Just a creepy little guy with a fake heart of unknown origins. We love Patton being the only villain in this Unsympathetic Patton house.

Buuuut....Logan being the one who made him the artificial heart when they were younger has a lot of potential. I think it's no secret that Logan is the family's little scientist. So when he first met Patton, he wasn't....comfortable to say the least. He had to have something to control whatever this thing was. And if creating something for him happened to help Patton with whatever chaotic plans he has, then so be it.

So long as he's easier to handle. Logan enjoys experimenting anyway so the invention of the artificial heart was challenging and very, very rewarding. Cold Scientist Logan who couldn't care less about Patton's existence and literally creating something that'll make him less of nuisance- even slightly- just cause with a Chaotic Evil Jolly Patton who has fake emotions that pops into Logan's lab to give him "affection" and ask for favors occasionally. It's glorious.

So imagine the aftermath of Patton obtaining the Orange Side's nectar and rushing into Logan's lab.

"Logan!~ I have a brilliant new idea!", He tackles him from behind mid-experiment, nearly knocking a very delicate chemical out of his hand, "But I need to borrow your big meaty brain real quick to pull it off!"

Logan is not pleased by his presence but remains apathetic nonetheless. He simply asks what he needs so he can go back to work.

Patton giggles mischievously, "Oh, you'll love it! Trust me!"

He pulls out the container holding the Orange Side's nectar.

"See this?~ It's a little something I picked up in that...forbidden palace.", He cooed with a grimace, "This sweet tasting stuff is apparently our little guy's repressed vices. Turns out it's real dangerous to consume or use if you don't do it correctly, hmm? ....Got a clue what I'm hinting at?~"

"....You tasted it?"

Patton pouted, "Don't make that scary face. My curiosity has good intentions."

"Yeah, sure it does. Get to the point."

"Kay, kay! Mr. Impatience!~", Patton slung his arm around Logan's shoulder, "I was wondering...is it possible for you to replicate that cute little trinket you gifted me all those years ago? I think having some I can implant in the others might give me a bit more of an edge....and ofcourse, you a bit more entertainment.~"

"So, let me get this straight...you want to fill replicas of your heart- which I'm not even certain I can create- with that liquid you stole from the Dark Sides so you can use it to control discourse between the others? And you want me to somehow insert these replicas in them without them knowing?"

Patton nodded, "Uh-huh.~"

....................

"Alright.", Logan took the container out of Patton's hand, "It sounds challenging. Absurdly so."

"Yay! You're the best, Lo!"

"Those 'hearts' you requested may have to be smaller than average.", Logan pondered, disregarding his praise, already starting the blueprints, "Considering your....imaginative requirements for this to work, I don't think implanting these will be a small order. I'll have to adjust some things. While also starting from scratch. .....So thanks for that."

"Oh, stop pretending you don't love this!", Patton pranced out of his lab, "I'll leave you to it!"

Yeah....so many scenarios can come of this. The possibilities are endless.

Platonic Patton Hc’s

You’re his kid now. He’s the dad friend, and it’s, simply, how it is.

Patton will coddle you. All he wants is to talk, hug, and snuggle with you.

Patton will bake with you and will often surprise you with food. He is also always checking to make sure you’ve been eating and drinking. Patton isn’t concerned with what you’ve eaten just that you have and that you’ve eaten plenty.

Give him stuffed animals. He’ll love them. Patton will become less clingy in the long run having something to snuggle when he can’t with you. Whatever you give him he cherishes with all his being.

Patton has and will make more friendship bracelets. You have to wear it or it’ll make him feel unwanted. Just do it. Wear it as an anklet if you have to, but just wear it.

You and Patton will be having a lot of tea parties and movie nights. You’ll scrapbook and play pattoncake.

He always has random pieces of candy he is sharing, and he’ll be ecstatic if you gave him some candy you have bought.

Patton also carries a first-aid kit for accidents because he also tends to be clumsy and needs band-aids from time to time. However Patton will panic and coddle if you get hurt.

He WILL fight you with love if you insult yourself.

Patton is always offering help even when he is busy or if you don’t need help.

He gets so excited and happy when you make puns. So make puns when he’s upset. Give him dad-jokes. Give him jokes.

Patton loves when you laugh or smile. It makes him feel proud if he is the reason you are. I mean, he loves all of you, but his favorite thing is making you smile and laugh.

Please compliment him. He may not show it but Patton is sensitive and self-conscious. Show him you love him. He needs to know you love him back as much as he loves you.

He really enjoys playing video games and board games with you and the other sides.

Obviously he calls you kiddo, but other nicknames are Sunflower (because your’re so bright and beautiful/handsome) and Buttercup (because you’re so sweet and cute).

Patton is always there for you no matter what. He will be your best friend forever.
