congrats! unfortunately all proposed english gender neutral terms for aunt/uncle i have ever seen sound stupid as hell. you may have to borrow from another language or else make something up yourself.

Yeah that’s pretty much the conclusion I’ve reached as well. The trouble is that even if I relent and choose one of the stupid as hell options (personally leaning towards auncle bc it’s the easiest) there’s no way on god’s green earth that I’ll get anyone in my family to ever use it. Which is kind of important if I want the kid to know me as that.

So. I might pick my battles and be an uncle. It’d be better than aunt at least.

When it comes to Lan Wangji's voice acting, personally I prefer the donghua version than the audio drama.

It fits perfectly with what's described in the novel.

His voice was low and magnetic. The heart of anyone standing near enough would undoubtedly tremble upon hearing it.

I have found that even if i agree with everything a post says and every point it makes I’m not going to reblog it if it’s aggressive. Even if the aggression is limited to “People who think otherwise need to get over it.” at the end. Even if i agree that people need to get over it. I’m not going to reblog that. I have enough stress in my real life, i don’t need that kind of energy in my life.

It’s just become a real turn off for me.
