The incident sparked a flurry of interest in the timeless accessory, and since then, the term "tennis bracelet" has become synonymous with this particular style of jewelry and have graced the wrists of trendsetting celebrities across the globe.

The Trend Shows No Signs Of Fading…
As we continue to be mesmerized by the sparkle of diamonds adorning the wrists of our favorite celebrities, diamond tennis bracelets continue to captivate both celebrities and the public. Which clearly says that the allure of diamond tennis bracelets is here to stay.
Whether worn solo or stacked with other bracelets, these dazzling accessories remain a staple in the world of celebrity fashion, proving that sometimes, all you need to make a statement is a wrist adorned with the brilliance of diamonds.
Maintaining The Women’s Diamond Tennis Bracelets
This handcrafted jewelry, the women's diamond bracelet is not just a stunning piece of jewelry, it's an investment that deserves a little TLC (tender love and care) to keep it shining bright for years to come.
Here are some simple maintenance tips to ensure your diamond tennis bracelet remains as dazzling as the day you got it:
Regular Cleaning: Diamonds can lose their sparkle when dirt and oils build up. To keep your bracelet looking its best, clean it regularly using a soft toothbrush and mild soapy water. Gently scrub the diamonds and the setting, then rinse with clean water and pat dry with a soft, lint-free cloth.
Avoid Harsh Chemicals: Chemicals found in household cleaners, perfumes, and hairsprays can dull the brilliance of your diamonds and damage the metal setting. It's best to remove your bracelet when doing household chores or applying beauty products to prevent exposure to these harsh chemicals.
Store Separately: When you're not wearing your diamond tennis bracelet, store it separately from other jewelry to prevent scratching. Consider placing it in a fabric-lined jewelry box or a soft pouch to protect it from dust and potential damage.
Check the Clasp: The clasp is a crucial component of your bracelet. Regularly inspect it to ensure it is secure and functioning properly. If you notice any issues, have it repaired promptly to avoid the risk of losing your precious bracelet.
Professional Inspections: Schedule periodic professional check-ups for your diamond tennis bracelet. A jeweler can inspect the setting, prongs, and overall condition to catch any potential issues before they become major problems.
Be Mindful of Activities: While diamond tennis bracelets are durable, it's advisable to remove them when engaging in activities that could subject them to excessive wear or impact, such as sports or heavy physical work.
Insurance Coverage: Consider getting insurance coverage for your diamond tennis bracelet. This can provide peace of mind knowing that, in the unfortunate event of loss, theft, or damage, you have financial protection.
By incorporating these maintenance tips into your routine, you'll not only preserve the beauty of your handcrafted jewelry but also ensure that it remains a radiant and cherished piece in your jewelry collection.
In a Nutshell…
In the world of high fashion and glitz, the diamond tennis bracelet emerges as more than just an accessory. It's a symbol of timeless elegance and a testament to the enduring allure of diamonds.
As we revel in the enchantment cast by celebrities who gracefully adorn their wrists with these radiant treasures, it's clear that the magic of the diamond tennis bracelet is here to stay.
From the red carpet to everyday moments, these bracelets seamlessly blend sophistication with versatility, becoming an indispensable part of a celebrity's style arsenal.
Beyond the sparkle and glamor, they tell stories of love, celebration, and milestones, transcending their role as mere accessories to become cherished companions in life's journey.
So, whether you're a Hollywood starlet gracing the spotlight or someone who appreciates the finer things in life, consider the diamond tennis bracelet not just as jewelry but as an embodiment of elegance, a reflection of moments cherished, and a timeless piece that continues to dazzle through the ages.
In the delicate dance of light on diamonds, we find a lasting reminder that true beauty is, indeed, eternal. So, whether you're walking the red carpet or strolling down the street, consider adding a touch of timeless elegance to your ensemble with one of these dazzling treasures.

oh, ”Stay awake.” for the prompt list if you want?
uhhhh. Undoubtedly this was not the fic fill you were expecting for this prompt. i used it very loosely and I am truly sorry for this result...something consumed me.
----------------
Roy sits on the balcony of his posh fucking rental, staring out at Marbella’s shore. He’s got private beach access here, a boardwalk that leads to the sand and then down to the swirling deep blue, where a person can float and maybe, if they're lucky, forget themselves for a while in its depths. But the waves are too high to swim today, and anyway, it’s getting dark now.
Beneath him, there’s a massive pool he could swim in instead, if he wanted. Dive in and spend a moment breathless beneath the water. It might do him good, that chance to briefly cut off the oxygen, to move around for a bit underwater, then feel the relief of the first lungful of air when he breaks back up through the surface. He’d do it, if he wasn’t feeling so fucking…stuck. Stuck to this chair, stuck to his stupid life. In need of permanent fissure, that's him. If he could only force himself to walk down to the pool, he thinks, and not look back. Maybe he could drown himself in it, and make it look like an accident.
He's twirling an engagement ring around in his right hand that's meant to be on Keeley’s ring finger.
The diamond is light pink and oval and massive, set into two narrow, curved bands of smaller yet still brilliant diamonds. It’s fucking perfect for Keeley. Showy, but not grotesquely so. Colourful and chic. Fun. Roy had it custom made for her. Let the jewelry consultant talk his ear off about settings and carats, then signed his name on the dotted line for the most expensive options on the list.
Fuck, he’d even showed it off to Rebecca, weeks and weeks ago, before he booked this trip. How fucking embarrassing was that? He’d only just gotten it in from the jeweler, the rock freshly nestled in its deep red velvet box. His boss cooed over it convincingly and agreed that yes, it looked just the ring for Keeley, and yes, the subtle pink hue was awfully inspired, and yes, Keeley would undoubtedly love it. Roy had left her office feeling rather proud of himself, totally oblivious to what she’d probably been trying to tell him between the lines, given the way her eyes went all narrow and her forehead pinched tight right after he’d told her where he was planning to propose, and when. The extravagant trip he envisioned that would end with him down on one knee.
Rebecca had blinked at him and clucked, with a smile like plastic, Wow. Well, I imagine that will come as quite the surprise! Which at the time felt like praise for his careful planning skills and in hindsight seems more like her small way of warning him. Like she’d known all along Keeley was going to say no.
Had everyone? Roy had only told Rebecca and his sister about the ring, but maybe everyone else had guessed it, or assumed it was coming. Assumed, possibly, how it would end, because who in their right mind would want to marry him? He was just the sort to do something this pathetic, to propose in a last ditch attempt to save what was already broken. Maybe they all saw it. He swallows down the rising, unpleasant rush of bile in his throat and thinks back to Keeley spreading stories about him around work, how clingy he was and how needy and how he never left her alone. So this wouldn’t be the first time everyone else knew more about his relationship than he did.
For one fleeting, wild moment, he envisions himself flinging the ring right off this balcony and watching it make its way, impossibly, all the way out to the sea. Gets brief satisfaction at the thought of the ocean swallowing it whole, entrapping it below the waves where he never has to think about it, or look at it, ever again. In his hand, the ring stills its incessant twirling and Roy crushes it under his fingers instead, pressing it so hard against his skin he’s sure it’s going to leave a mark on his palm, and hopes, ludicrously, that it will somehow be permanent. A reminder.
Behind him, inside the villa, Keeley’s asleep on the bed he had covered in rose petals while they were at dinner. Roy thinks he might stay up all night, sitting out here as it gets too dark to see the water below, just to avoid the awkwardness of joining her. Or is he meant to sleep in one of the guest rooms? What, exactly, is the protocol for when your girlfriend turns down your proposal but tells you she does in fact still want to be with you, marriage conversation aside? He’s the only person he knows that that’s happened to; he hasn’t even read about it books.
Roy’s spent the past three weeks alone here, missing her terribly. Has he now ruined their one glorious weekend together on the first night, before it’s even properly begun?
She’d flown in just that morning. Roy took a car to the airport to meet her, feeling jittery and excited in equal measure, happier than he’s felt for days. It had been a long fucking three weeks on his own, hardly able to find time to even FaceTime with her, what with how busy she was with her new firm. The whole time, her parting words before he left her for sunny Spain—You never know, maybe the time apart will do both of us good, babe—looped through his mind on constant repeat, curdling in his gut like sour milk.
Realistically, he knows they’ve been on two separate trajectories for a whole now, like rockets shooting off to two different edges of space, nothing but gulf and galaxies between. This weekend was meant to be their way back to one another, the anticipated culmination of their big compromise: Roy would still go to Marbella, alone, and Keeley would make the time to come join him halfway through, just for the few days she could manage with her new job.
His original proposal plan, the one he told to Rebecca involving a gorgeously romantic six-week couples retreat, had gone out the window the moment she’d turned this trip down, but even so, he’d adjusted it accordingly. Fitted his plans around hers, because that’s what suitable, well-adjusted couples did, wasn’t it? Convinced himself he could be flexible. Convinced himself he could wait. It just needed to happen, he just needed to present her with this ring, and she just needed to slip it onto her finger and say yes—and everything that felt wrong would be fixed.
He’s a fucking idiot.
He should have seen this coming. Even their reunion had felt off. She’d stepped through the baggage claim pulling her cheetah-print suitcase behind her, and subsequentially dropping it at the sight of him in order to run over and leap grandly into his arms. When they kissed, it felt just as good as it always did, like puzzle pieces sliding into place, soothing over the open wound inside of him he hadn’t quite realized he’d been nursing, all this time. But the wound didn’t close just because she was there. As soon as she stepped away again, retracing her steps back to retrieve her suitcase, the gulf only seemed to widen.
So then he'd taken her back to the villa, carrying on about the itinerary he’d spent the first half of his time here perfecting. He’d show her around the place first, give her time to get settled, and after that they’d still have plenty of time to get ready for dinner. He’d booked a private dinner on the water. A romantic, candlelit feast of seafood and drinks and dessert, after which he’d just go for it. He had what he wanted to say all lined up in his head: I love you Keeley. I want to spend forever with you. Then back to their room, which by then would be decked floor to ceiling with rose petals and heart balloons and champagne, ready for their exuberant return.
The first part went even better than planned. As soon as they made it through the front door, Keeley pounced on him, locking her fingers against his back, wrapping her legs around his waist, pulling him closer with all the hunger and passion and desperation they’d had in the beginning; that thing he’d been chasing for months. Passion got pushed aside when there were emails to check and businesses to run. Sex became a bit of a chore, maybe. But not now. Not anymore.
She let him carry her bridal-style to the master suite, setting her reverently down in the king-sized bed, stripping her adoringly, in between frantic kisses. They fucked hurriedly, Keeley’s suitcase abandoned in the entranceway and all thoughts of unpacking and giving a tour through the house abandoned with it. Then they fucked again, with much less haste. Like they’d finally managed to convince themselves the moment wasn’t about to be ripped away from them and were now letting themselves enjoy the thing proper. She was here now. It was all going to be fine.
After, though. Lying tangled up in the sheets, sweaty and naked and satisfied, Roy said something innocuous about getting up in time for a long shower together before they had to ready themselves for dinner, and the mood in the air shifted. Keeley frowned, “Oh I don’t know babe. Can you still cancel it? It’s just…” she exhaled and flopped her head back onto the pillows, hair splaying everywhere, “I am so fucking tired. That plane was an absolute misery, there was loads of turbulence and this one crying baby who I seriously think might have been possessed by some sort of crying demon, and…God, it really was awful. Also, before I left I had a meeting with my new employees. They hate me, Roy, I really think they hate me. How am I supposed to run a firm if all of my employees hate me?”
She stopped just long enough to breathe, or maybe she’d caught the look on his face. “Sorry, I know I swore not to talk about work on this trip.” A quick peck of her lips to his cheek, a little plea for forgiveness. It felt cold. “Just us for the rest of the weekend, I promise. So…dinner. What if we order in, just for tonight? We’ll spend the whole evening in bed, it’ll be fantastic. We can take a lazy nap, and then eat whenever we wake up, fuck again, midnight skinny dip in that fucking amazing pool out back—"
Of course she didn’t know about the candles and rose petals and the ring burning a hole in the safe deposit box in the closet, but Roy still stiffened. “No, we can't nap. We have to stay awake,” he bit out quickly. “We have to go to dinner. It’s already set up.”
Keeley kept talking mindlessly, even as Roy’s brain seemed to be burrowing itself in the sand, taking his sanity with it. “Well can’t you just call and postpone it? We can do the fancy dinner tomorrow, babe, once I’m more rested.” She was smiling. Her face seemed to say, this isn’t a big deal, babe.
But it was. Because Roy didn’t want to wait until tomorrow. He loved her today. He wanted this to happen today. The room felt unstable, like the bed was spinning in the opposite direction of the walls. It felt like something was slipping from him that he couldn’t name, even now. He was desperately trying to grasp at it with too-slick fingers even as it evaded his hold. “It has to be tonight, Keeley. There’s a different dinner planned tomorrow,” he snapped.
She stared at him in alarm.
“I have different dinners planned all weekend. I’ve put a lot of time into making this fucking—nice for you. For us. I’ve had a lot of time to put it together, since I’ve been here all the fuck alone.” It was much harsher than he'd intended, but he couldn’t take it back once he'd said it, and he didn't try to. The thing he was trying to save dipped further from his grasp. Keeley’s mouth snapped shut. The words hung in the air between them, heavy in the silence.
“Fine,” Keeley snapped back, eventually. Even her voice sounded more tired than angry, and the guilt gnawed at his chest. “Heaven forbid I want to relax on my bloody holiday. We’ll do it your way, then.” Then she rolled off the bed, shoving aside the sheets as she untangled them from her form, then angrily stomping towards the ensuite.
He made to get up and go after her, but she looked back at him with steely eyes, stopping him in his tracks. “I’m showering, Roy. Alone.”
//
Of course it went terribly, after that. How could it not? He should have called the whole thing off, should have agreed to lounge around and eat takeaway in bed and do nothing but fuck in the pool. He should have forgotten about the ring for the evening.
(He doesn’t think it would have made any difference. That’s almost the worst part.)
At dinner, the tension between them dissipated on the crests of bottomless cocktails and conversation. On laughter. Keeley looked fucking incredible in a flowery sundress. The food was divine. And the first thing they did was apologize for biting one another’s heads off, agreed that it had just been a long day. A mutual peace offering. Roy fingered the ring in his pocket until the time came to sink to his knee.
When he did, her face shattered. Not in the way he’d wanted it too, the way he’d pictured. Not the kind of shattered that happens when the joy gets so full it could burst. No, this was the same kind of shattered way she’d looked at him when she told him she couldn’t spare the time to spend six weeks with him in Marbella. Like she pitied him, almost. Like she was hoping he’d stop or say it was all a joke. That he’d take it all back.
“Roy,” she started softly, already shaking her head.
Already shaking her head.
“I love you, Roy,” she promised, eyes glistening. The words were a buzz in the background.
(The worst part, by far, is how much he loves her in return. He loves her so much he doesn’t know quite what to do with it. If a proposal isn’t the right place to put it, where is? He doesn’t understand why the love can’t fix them. Why it isn’t enough.)
“We’re not ready for this,” she continued, openly shedding tears by then. Somewhere off to the side, their waiter was probably alarmed, holding the cake with congratulations! swirled onto its plate in dark chocolate that Roy had paid extra for, unsure what to do with it, waiting for instruction. Roy was too humiliated to check for certain. He was still down on one knee. It was starting to throb. Carefully, he raised himself back up.
She was watching him with a look of great remorse as she repeated, “We can’t get married right now, baby. It isn’t…I don’t think it’s the answer, yeah? Maybe eventually, but not now.” It sounded exactly the way we’ll be fine had sounded the day she’d packed up her office in Richmond. Like they definitely wouldn’t be fine. Like her answer to marriage wasn’t not now but quite possibly never.
He’d nodded. He’d lowered himself back into his chair, feeling clammy and numb. He’d waved the waiter over to close the bill.
//
Staring out at the sea that’s gone dark, he tucks the ring back into his pocket with the startling, crippling, clear realization that he's got to break up with her. He feels like his heart has been wrenched out of his chest and stomped on, then shoved back in for him to live with. He feels like she’s right, and it wouldn’t have worked even if she’d said yes.
He’s such a fucking mess, he thinks, and she deserves better. She’s on top of the world, and here he is dragging her down into the water. Maybe they both know they’re broken beyond repair, just waiting for the other one to call it off. He’s not sure he can do it. These days, he misses her even when she’s in the next room.
Fuck.
He slides open the door to the balcony and steps back inside after one last glance at the ocean, which he can hear even if he can’t see. Fuck the guest bed. He makes his way into the bedroom and crawls in next to her. A couple more rose petals flutter to the ground.
“Roy,” she breathes, as soon as he’s settled himself under the thin sheet, the air too hot and humid, even with the AC cranked, to sleep under anything heavier. Her voice is quiet and sad and cracked and small. It sounds like she’s been crying the whole time he’s been outside.
He shuts his eyes and says, “I’m sorry,” to the air. He doesn’t know quite what he’s apologizing for. Asking her to marry him? Assuming she’d say yes? Even just thinking about breaking up with her just now? Her, the best person to ever happen to him? The best anything, end of. He draws himself closer and wraps his arm around her torso, just to feel her—her skin, the smell of her hair and the dip and fall of her stomach as she breathes in and out.
It’s its own familiar kind of self-torture, holding something in his hands as he loses it slowly. Like the last year of football, magnified by ten. Waiting for the final hammer to fall as he cradles the thing he loves in the palm of his hand and feels it drip through.
“Are we still okay?” she whispers, cupping her fingers over his own clasped ones. Maybe he’s not the only one desperately clinging on.
He tells her yes, but the truth is that he doesn’t know.
The deeper truth, the one he can’t face, is that he doesn’t think so.
He thinks it’s already over.

#6: Ring
Noun: a typically circular band of metal or other durable material, especially one of gold or other precious metal, often set with gems, for wearing on the finger as an ornament, a token of betrothal or marriage, etc.
Tumblr media
Set some time before the events of 7.0; Aymeric’s head butler Arnaud carries down a box from the Borel Manor’s attic that brings back precious memories, and conjures up dreams of the future.
As the elder elezen walked into his lord’s parlor, he saw the younger man sitting on the sofa in his blue silk robe, running his hand through his raven curls with a deep frown on his face and hunched over what looked to be a shopping catalog. He cleared his throat as he announced, “Dinner will be served within the hour, my lord.”
Aymeric glanced up at his head butler for a moment with a quick little smile before returning his attention back to the catalog in his hands. “Thank you, Arnaud.”
“If I may ask…?”
Looking up again, Aymeric replied, “Hmm? Of course, what is it?”
Arnaud tilted his head in curiosity as he noticed that the catalog in question was from the Ul’dahn Goldsmith’s Guild. “You seem troubled. Is something the matter?”
“Oh, ‘tis nothing to worry yourself over. I just have to make a decision, but I am not fond of any of these choices.”
Aymeric sat the catalog down on the table and Arnaud could finally see the items that his lord was referring to: a selection of what appeared to be engagement rings. A smirk crossed his lips. “Ohh, I see…”
Sighing, Aymeric crossed his arms and shook his head. “Hali deserves the best ring in all of the world, one that is as beautiful as she is, and one that she will adore for the rest of her life. And yet, none of these are right.”
“It is an important decision to be sure, though I am confident that Lady Hali will love anything you give her. For her, as long as it is from you, and comes straight from the heart, she will be over the moon with joy.”
“No, you are right. Still, I cannot help but want it to be perfect, and none of these are what I have envisioned.”
“What exactly do you have in mind?”
Aymeric closed his ice blue eyes momentarily before turning his attention back to Arnaud. “I picture a brilliant blue jewel with diamonds surrounding the center like stars in the night sky. With a crescent moon perhaps? Hmm…”
“A brilliant blue jewel, you say?” The elder man’s mind immediately recalled a ring that fit that description in part, but most importantly, the jewel that served as the ring’s centerpiece. Yes, it just might fit perfectly. “Well, I believe that I have a solution for you, my lord. Just wait here a moment.”
Before Aymeric could reply, Arnaud walked out of the room. A few minutes later, the butler returned with a small blue velvet box that was covered in a thin layer of dust. He brushed off the dust as Aymeric’s eyes widened and his jaw dropped in shock.
“Wait, you don’t mean…”
Arnaud nodded as he opened the little vintage box in his hand. “Yes, your late mother’s ring.”
As both elezen men turned their attention to the ring, of which had belonged to the late Lady Borel, Aymeric’s adoptive mother, a gleam of nostalgia and joy twinkled in Aymeric’s eyes as he admired the blue diamond encircled with tiny white diamonds on a band of gold. It was close to being a century old now, but it was still a sight to behold.
The elder smiled as he offered up his thoughts. “For over a decade, it has been collecting dust in a box in the attic. Why not take the ring and commission a goldsmith to create a new setting for the blue diamond, and make the perfect ring for your beloved? I dare say that Lady Borel would have been the first to approve, and she likely would have put forth the suggestion herself.”
Arnaud sat the opened ring box down on the table in front of Aymeric, who then picked it up and looked it over more closely. With a nod and a grin, Aymeric replied, “You are not wrong about that, Arnaud. Yes, I think that is exactly what I should do. Thank you, my friend.”
“Anytime, my lord.”

Bakudeku idea:
They're adults now, both Pro Heroes, and in a long-term Committed relationship. They've been boyfriends for a while now. Honestly, their friends are wondering when they're actually going to take the next step and get married.
The thought admittedly makes Izuku's heart flutter, the idea of actually, really, being Katsuki Bakugou's HUSBAND? Stars in his eyes.
But maybe he is still kind of awkward about expressing his own feelings and wants. He still internalizes his feelings sometimes, he doesn't want to come off as too "fixated" on the idea of marriage, doesn't want to come on too strongly to Katsuki, or apply pressure of an expectation.
Maybe part of him, with lingering feelings of self-doubt and imposter syndrome, still has denial about Katsuki being SO INTO HIM that he would say yes if proposed to.
Besides, they are still very young, and this lot in life has suited the two of them very well, he's content right now.
Not to say, that he hadn't run a few late night searches of "Engagement Ring designs" to test the waters of what was trending, what was traditional, more niche or "themed" sets, and then agonizing about what his Kacchan would even gravitate towards.
Ultimately he tries not to get too worked up over the details...If it happens, it happens. If it comes up, they'll talk about it. He doesn't feel the need to force it, or pop any question yet.
One day, however, they're both on patrol, assigned to different parts of the city.
Shit goes down, and word quickly spreads on the comms that Dynamight is pursuing a dangerous villain who'd already taken several casualties and was out for more.
"I'm on my way!"
Deku yells into his comm, as he sprints over the city with OFA. He asks for details on the situation. Katsuki occasionally screams back between explosions and cursing.
But suddenly, at some point, the comm cuts off, in mid-sentence.
"We must not've gotten all the Trigger outta the streets--This goddamn maniac won't fuckin'-- Stay---"
"DynaMight? DynaMight!" Deku stops cold, holding his earpiece, trying to hear any trace. "... Kacchan!!?"
Static.
Deku curses and bolts, heading to where Katsuki had last placed his coordinates.
He finds a smoking crater of an alleyway, and clear signs of a massive struggle. There's no sign of Katsuki or the Villain themselves, only their aftermath, and some heroes who had gotten there sooner, saying Katsuki had been taken. Caught somehow by the Villains powerful Quirk and dragged up and out of the alley as they tried to beat a retreat.
Izuku stalks into the mess, cautiously, trying to read the situation. His heart hammers as he finds splatters of blood. He feels nauseous, dizzy, frantic at the thought that it's Katsuki's.
He traces the tracks of explosions and gashes from strong blades into concrete and brick, reading the pattern of attacks, attempted defense, and capture to find the trajectory of the villain.
Izuku's about to take off once more, when something unusual catches his eye, a glint of bright gold. It's the trim of a small, velvet box.
He picks it up. God knows why, at this moment.
The velvet is already stained with a few drops of blood.
With a small creak, Izuku opens the box, and inside, he finds the most pristine set of bands, each with a faceted, gleaming stone. One a rich green, and the other a fiery orange.
Izuku's gloved hand clamps over his mouth, his jaw hanging in a silent exclamation. His heart beats impossibly faster as he cycles through emotions; shock, elation, and then blinding rage.
Katsuki Bakugou, his boyfriend, had been planning on proposing, for who knew how long. And this villain, This villain had TAKEN HIM.
This villain had HURT HIM.
OFA ignites in Deku as he crouches, lightning shooting dangerously around him, teary eyes gone white, and hair waving around wildly.
A small Velvet box clutched tightly in his fist.
The other Pro Heroes flinch and draw away, as the alley lights up in green light. Some of the more seasoned Pros know to stay away from the young man in this state.
"I'm finding them," comes Izuku's feral growl.
A thunderclap of sound overtakes them all as OFA launches Izuku upwards, out into the sky. Leaving nothing but another crater in his wake.
--
When Katsuki comes to, all he sees is the sunset illuminated sky, and a streak of green light heading directly for him. The multiple hands of the villain, some behemoth with four muscular, bladed arms, suddenly release with the heavy shockwave of an impact, and Katsuki feels himself plummet.
Explosions. He had to make some explosions!
He doesn't know who or what was under him, though, how high he was falling from; his consciousness is nebulous at best. The villain had caught him one too many times with the blades, knocked him into a few too many walls. Battling both concussions and blood loss, his concentration was absolutely shot.
"s-shit" Katsuki slurs out, trying to save himself to no avail, falling in what may have been an endless void, for all he knew.
Suddenly, an outside force careens into him. But it isn't the villain, he feels much smaller arms wrapping around him, under his knee, around his back... Familiar arms.
Green light and a sort of warmth overtakes his senses as his fall is cut short. The world still spins and the flashes begin to overwhelm him, but Katsuki could open his eyes now and find the outline of a very familiar face.
"'s about fuckin' Time, Deku..." Katsuki grunts.
"Kaccha---DynaMight! I've got you!!" Izuku's voice is as shaky as it was when he was a teenage boy, but brimming with relief. They set safely down on a brand new street, directing some Heroes that had been drawn to the sound and lightshow of the battle to give Katsuki some medical care.
"I think I knocked him out cold with OFA, but I've got to go make sure the villain is properly apprehended, Kacchan, I'll be right back, I love you!" He says urgently. Katsuki grunts angrily behind the Hero that was dabbing at his facial wounds, but doesn't struggle, Since now that he's seated on a random bench, every limb feels like lead and it's enough of a fight to just keep his eyes open.
"Get back here, Deku," He weakly yells, with no real meaning behind it; he just hates seeing his nerd run into battle alone. "-- Love you too...dumbass nerd..."
Everything becomes quiet, it seems that the villain really was down for the count. Apparently one massive, steamrolling Detroit Smash was all it took to knock the villain out long enough to put him under arrest. The Heroes around Katsuki said it had been like a huge light show in a matter of seconds, Green light splintering in the sky over buildings as Izuku had shot through the air and laid waste to the Villain carrying Katsuki away as some sort of hostage. That must have been the moment that Katsuki had felt he was falling in a void.
He allows himself to breathe, sitting there waiting for the ambulance blaring in the distance to draw closer, so they could take him to get some real medical attention. He pointedly avoids chit-chat or eye contact with the unknown hero that was standing over him, making sure he wouldn't fall asleep until proper help arrived.
He just silently waits for Izuku to return.
Suddenly, he recalls something, and his hands shoot to his hips, feeling around in his pockets. With a few pats, he finds it; a small, rectangular shape in his right side pocket.
He immediately sighs in relief...So it hadn't been lost in the fight.
He takes it out, and looks it over...Strange, there was a bit of his blood on it. Maybe it had soaked through the outside of his pants? Opens it up, and both rings are safe and secure.
Thank God. They were fucking expensive. Even for a Hero salary.
But one thing bothered Katsuki, as he softly snapped the box shut, and slid it back into his pocket as the ambulance pulled up.
Red eyes shone thoughtfully as he catches sight of Izuku jogging breathlessly back to him. He could, from there, see Izuku's large, green eyes gleaming with worry.
Katsuki could have sworn that he had stuck the rings in his left pocket before Patrol.
--
Later, Katsuki had been given a clean bill of health, left only with a resounding headache, some leftover bruising. Rubbing at the back of his neck, tired eyes blink as Izuku re-enters the room, a black bag with Dynamight's signature orange X in his hands.
"Here, I grabbed your stuff from your locker," Izuku chirps, setting it next to Katsuki on the bed.
"Thank god, all this shit's bloody and gross," Katsuki complains, immediately grabbing his street clothes out from the bag, shoving his trashed costume and certain other personal items inside the bag in their place. As he sheds the hospital issued pair of pants and shirt to get dressed, he can't help but notice an odd little look on Izuku's face. Glancing at the bag, but not too long as to be able to arouse Katsuki's suspicion. Or so he thinks.
Izuku seems to get a hold of himself and turns from the bag, taking an aggressive slurp of some iced coffee. He must have picked it up while he was out, literally running across the city to take care of things at the agency, and grab Katsuki's things.
Katsuki grimaced as he buckled his pants up; Izuku was awkward as always, and really did have a shitty poker face. There was definitely something up.
As he pulls his shirt over his head, he decides to have a little fun with his boyfriend.
"Izu. I need to ask you something." He says it in a low, serious thrum, red eyes blazing.
Izuku coughs a bit on his coffee. "Y-you do??"
Admittedly amused by how spooked Izuku looks, Katsuki doesn't drop his own composure, as he steps closer to Izuku.
"I may have dropped something out there...Did you see anything?"
"Eh---What?" Izuku gazes up at him, and seeing the peculiar look in his boyfriend's eyes, and there is an electric charge in the air, an unspoken understanding between them.
He knows this jig is up. "I um... Well...." Izuku stammers, and just can't bring himself to confirm it, nor lie to his boyfriend.
"So that's a definite 'yes'...Shit." Katsuki growls. He leans against the side of the empty hospital bed, crimson eyes smoldering with annoyance over his secret being unceremoniously outed. "You guessed the wrong pocket, by the way, you nerd." Izuku immediately flushes with embarrassment.
"Kacchan, I found them in the alley and I figured you'd dropped them, I'm so, so sorry I didn't say anything!" Izuku sets his drink down and closes the gap between them, tenderly taking one of Katsuki's hands in his own. Softly, imploringly, he squeezes and rubs little circles with his thumbs.
"I didn't know if I should say anything, I mean, you must have been planning something and working so hard, and I didn't want to ruin the surprise, I just thought, if I could sneak it back to you you wouldn't have known and then...You could still surprise me like you planned?! I-I guess it kinda sounds bad, it's basically lying, but I'll admit I was a little...Emotional? And panicked?? So I--"
"Izuku. Quit muttering." Katsuki interrupts, and Izuku looks down at the linoleum floor, blushing furiously. Katsuki looks at the fretful young man in front of him and cocks a pleased grin at him. "It made you emotional, huh?"
"Well...Yes? Kacchan, it was bad enough that he hurt you and took you," Katsuki doesn't miss for a second the flash of that protective and slightly unhinged fury that took Izuku's expressive eyes for just a moment-- "--and then I found out that you were going to...You'd already bought rings...Of course I was emotional!" Izuku splutters, tears bubbling up in his eyes again.
"You went feral again, didn't you. I was half blacked out at that point, but I saw you charging after that bastard when he had me. Just a big ball of raging OFA energy."
Izuku shrugs, and Katsuki leans forward, placing a hand at the nape of Izuku's neck. He brings their foreheads together, and looks deeply at his boyfriend's eyes.
"How many times I gotta tell you, stop losing your shit like that. You get reckless." Katsuki scolds. "That piece of crap was a weakling anyway, I would've had him no problem in a minute. I woulda come around and made him eat dirt."
Izuku laughs, this time sporting his own cocky grin.
"That's such a Kacchan thing to say." He closes his eyes and leans against Katsuki. "So... Do you....Want an answer now?" He asks hesitantly.
Izuku's bright green doe eyes that stare so intently at him still make Katsuki furious sometimes. The hands he's treasured for so long clinging to his own so sweetly, don't help. He still can't deal with how flustered he feels in these soft moments, and it always dulls his annoyance into soft compliance.
Katsuki withdraws entirely, and grabs up his bag. Looking resolutely at his boyfriend, he seems just a little sullen.
"Hell no. Forget you saw the rings, Izuku." Izuku blinks in surprise, a bit surprised, and Katsuki heaves a sigh.
"Don't freak out, I'm gonna ask you. But I'm gonna do it properly. Like I was planning to in the first place, before those bastards at HQ rearranged our routes today!" He scowls, tired and embarrassed, thinking all over again about how his entire plan for the day had been ruined by meddling extras. "No fuckin' way is the Great Explosion Murder God DynaMight proposing in a friggin' hospital room in a damn rush." He grabs the top of Izuku's head and furiously musses up his green curls.
"Just get the entire thing outta that head of yours, got it?!"
Izuku laughs softly under his hand, and finally understands; Katsuki was waiting for a more meaningful opportunity. No doubt, his original plan might have entailed a breathless, adrenaline-filled proposal after they saved and won the day, together.
Kind of romantic, when he thinks about it, and their history together. Their lives and relationship had intertwined so tightly around their heroics, that it made total sense, for Katsuki to have been carrying the rings on patrol in the first place. If they hadn't split up, maybe it would have gone the way he'd intended, and they would have been officially engaged that night. There might have been a perfect moment of victory that Katsuki would have used to pop the question.
Not to mention it would exceedingly boost their ratings which were already performing incredibly well now that the public was really catching on to their relationship--Not that he thought Katsuki gave even the slightest shit about that aspect.
Izuku nods in agreement. "I'll leave it to you, then, DynaMight." He says, just so sweetly.
"Damn right you will." Katsuki smirks. "Now grab your drink and let's go home already. I'm fuckin' beat." His voice rasps with his fatigue. He sneaks one kiss on Izuku's cheek and heads out the door.
The two Heroes leave the hospital hand in hand.

Dazzling Diamonds: Choosing the Perfect Diamond Pendant Necklace
Tumblr media
Jewelry, beyond its intrinsic beauty, holds stories of love, luxury, and enduring craftsmanship. Among the myriad gemstones, diamonds stand as eternal symbols of sophistication and brilliance.
In the world of jewelry, few things rival the timeless elegance and sparkling allure of a diamond pendant necklace. This exquisite piece of adornment has the remarkable ability to capture hearts and reflect the wearer's unique style.
Earth-mined diamond pendant necklace is a pinnacle of timeless elegance and an embodiment of refined sophistication.
Embarking on this radiant journey requires more than a casual glance, says the manufacturer of fine jewelry. It demands an understanding of the nuances that make each diamond pendant a distinctive masterpiece. From the classic brilliance of the cut to the subtle interplay of colors, and from the clarity that unveils the diamond's innermost secrets to the weight that determines its presence, each aspect plays a vital role in shaping the allure of the perfect pendant.
A woman diamond necklace with timeless elegance and sparkling allure is your go to option either when you are treating yourself or selecting a meaningful gift for someone special. However, finding the perfect earth-mined diamond, the handcrafted jewelry involves an enchanting exploration into the world of cuts, colors, and styles be it to elevate your own collection or seeking the breath-taking gift to celebrate a special moment.
Therefore, let's explore the key factors to consider when choosing the dazzling diamond pendant that perfectly complements your style and captures your heart.
Factors to consider While Choosing Your Handcrafted Jewelry
Understand the Four Cs: First things first, familiarize yourself with the four Cs of diamonds: Cut, Color, Clarity, and Carat weight. The cut isn't about the shape but the precision with which the facets are crafted. A well-cut earth-mined diamond allows light to dance within, creating a dazzling display that captures the eye. Diamonds come in a spectrum of colors, from colorless to light yellow or even rare shades like blue and pink. The color grade assesses the absence of color in a diamond. The most prized diamonds are those without any perceptible color, allowing light to pass through unobstructed. Every woman's diamond necklace has its unique characteristics, often referred to as inclusions or imperfections. Clarity is the measure of these internal features. A diamond with fewer inclusions is deemed clearer and allows more light to pass through, enhancing its brilliance. Balancing these factors ensures you choose a pendant that suits your preferences and budget. It's not a one-size-fits-all scenario; it's about crafting a personalized piece that resonates with your unique taste.
Choose the Right Metal: The manufacturer of fine jewelry opines that the metal of the pendant setting plays a crucial role in its overall aesthetic. The choice of metal for the setting is more than a mere backdrop. It's an essential element that defines the piece's overall aesthetic. Consider personal style and skin tone when making this decision. White gold and platinum create a modern, sleek look, while yellow gold exudes classic warmth. Rose gold, with its romantic hue, adds a trendy and feminine touch. Your pendant should resonate with your individuality, becoming an extension of your fashion preferences and enhancing your natural beauty.
Select a Diamond Shape: Diamonds come in various shapes, each offering a unique visual appeal. The classic round brilliant cut is timeless and versatile. If you prefer something more contemporary, consider a princess or cushion cut. For an elongated and elegant look, emerald or marquise shapes are excellent choices. The shape you pick should resonate with your personal style and preferences.
Understand Diamond Settings: The setting of the handcrafted jewelry in the pendant influences its overall appearance. A classic prong setting showcases more of the diamond and allows light to enter from all angles, enhancing its brilliance. Bezel settings offer a sleek and secure look, encircling the diamond with metal. Pave settings feature small diamonds set closely together, creating a sparkling surface.
Consider the Pendant Design: The design of the pendant itself is a significant consideration. Simple solitaire pendants are timeless and go well with various styles, making them a popular choice. If you desire more intricate designs, explore halo pendants, where a circle of smaller diamonds surrounds the center stone, adding extra sparkle. Unique shapes, such as hearts or flowers, can also make a charming statement.
Think About Lifestyle: The manufacturer of fine jewelry advises to consider the lifestyle of the person who will wear the pendant. If it's for everyday wear, a more durable setting and a moderate carat weight might be preferable. For a special occasion pendant, you might opt for a larger diamond and a more elaborate design.
Set a Budget: Setting a budget ensures you have a clear idea of what you're comfortable spending. The four Cs, metal choice, and pendant design all contribute to the overall cost. Knowing your budget helps you narrow down options and find the perfect balance between quality and affordability.
Personalize with Meaning: Lastly, consider adding a personal touch to your handcrafted jewelry - the diamond pendant. Whether it's choosing a birthstone-accented pendant or selecting a style that holds sentimental value, infusing meaning into your choice makes the pendant even more special. As you explore the myriad ways to personalize your woman's diamond necklace, consider birthstone accents or select a style rich in sentimental value, these personal touches not only add depth to your pendant but also create an enduring connection that transcends the boundaries of time.
To Make The Long Story Short…
Choosing the perfect diamond pendant necklace involves a delightful blend of personal style, budget considerations, and an understanding of diamond characteristics. By navigating the world of cuts, colors, and settings, you'll discover a dazzling diamond pendant that not only enhances your beauty but also becomes a cherished symbol of elegance and sentiment. Moreover, let the choice of metal be a celebration of your style, a reflection of your personality, and a timeless statement of the beauty that lies within the details of your diamond pendant.Happy pendant hunting!
