Two Elves
Wrote a bunch of fics for my OC's and figured that this one was the best to post first since it gives a brief overview of the plot and characters!
Summary: A dissatisfied Tauriel ponders on her soon-to-be traveling companions. Or, the one where Tauriel mentally roasts my OC's then picks a fight with one of them.
----
Tauriel huffed, stacking another crate. Currently she, along with her soon-to-be traveling companions, were loading up supplies for their journey.
She had to admit, Kíli was right. She truly was in low spirits ever since her banishment from the Woodland realm– her home she had lived in all her life. Sure, the now-residents of Dale welcomed her, and she appreciated every effort Kíli made to keep her loneliness at bay, but she was a wood elf and there was nothing like her home.
A home she could never return to thanks to its arrogant king.
Even if she were allowed back, Tauriel decided, she couldn’t live there anymore and return to the king’s services, not after everything that happened between them. So she was angry and despondent and when Kili invited her on their small quest, suggesting being away for a while would do her some good, she had to agree.
She was invited to a small, private, meeting with King Thorin, where Fíli, who would be leading their expedition, presented to him his intended companions for the journey. Tauriel entered with an open mind and left… feeling there was much to be desired.
First there was Calarphain, an elf from Lothlórien who apprenticed under Lady Galadriel. He would have been a great asset with his powerful magic, if he weren’t so sheltered. It was apparent from just one meeting with him that he had never seen battle, and despite his powers, Tauriel definitely considered him a civilian. Still, she was willing to make up the difference.
Then there was Linnéa, the apothecary from Laketown. She seemed unassuming and Tauriel wouldn’t have suspected anything… if she didn’t already know from Kíli that Linnéa was in fact a spy for Mirkwood who was just as skilled in making poison as she was with medicine. Apparently, Linnéa had already drugged and kidnapped Fíli once before, so his decision to include her in their quest was bewildering to say the least. Still, she could watch out for the snake in the grass. Really, the true subject of her ire right now was–
“Blackberry ale! It’s not as strong as Dorwinion wine, but it can take you out if you drink enough.”
Callonduin. The elven warrior from Rivendell had stopped for a moment to chat with some dwarves about his escapades in the many taverns of Bree-land. He was sociable and easily charmed the dwarves with his fun-loving attitude. Tauriel also heard from several sources that Callonduin had great skill in battle with his glaive.
However, as their aforementioned meeting revealed, this supposedly promising warrior, who was also Calarphain’s twin brother, was an untrustworthy, unreliable, mess. Tauriel learned during their meeting of his history of shirking his duties for a drunken night out, and of his reckless behavior in battle. Apparently, Callonduin had lied to his father about his whereabouts for the past few months, and even after promising him to return home, decided to continue his aimless wandering. It was easy to see in just one meeting that Callonduin was hedonistic, unprincipled, and had little regard for authority.
It was bad enough she couldn’t rely on two of their companions, they wouldn’t be able to help Fíli and Kíli if they needed aid while she was occupied in battle. Callonduin would have been great to have along if not for his attitude, and Tauriel resented him for it. He was a trained elven warrior, just like her. So where was the discipline? The integrity?
“I had a few pints one night, it was sweet so I just kept going. By the time we went on patrol, everything was fuzzy!”
THUMP! Tauriel winced slightly at how hard she set the crate down. She was aggravated from listening to Callonduin recount his errant behavior to the dwarves.
“You can bet I had a few bottles stashed away by the time I left Rivendell.”
“You mean deserted.” The words tumbled out of Tauriel’s mouth before she could help it. The group of dwarves immediately stopped their chattering and stared at her. Callonduin slowly turned to face her.
“You said you left,” she continued, “when you really abandoned your duties without leave and deserted.”
Callonduin licked his lips for a moment before smiling, a wry, smug thing. “The elves of the Greenwood told me about you.” Tauriel faltered slightly at the mention of her people. “They said you were banished for defying the King’s orders. So, insubordination?”
Tauriel dropped her load and strode towards the other Elf. “The King was willing to abandon other lands to darkness, I refused to let that happen!” she snapped. “I left to save lives. You left for no other reason than for your own enjoyment. Do not suggest that we are similar.”
“Yet here we both are, with nowhere else to go, about to set out on a journey we have nothing to do with.” Then Callonduin huffed out a quick laugh and muttered,  “Your people probably think you’ve lost your mind.”
At that, Tauriel’s hands twitched towards her blades, but she managed to stop herself in time. Callonduin though, noticed. His eyes lit up and his smirk grew into a wide grin.
“Want to fight?” He stepped closer. There was a note of excitement in his voice. “Want to give these dwarves a show?” he said louder, enough for the surrounding dwarves to turn their heads. “Who will win?  The Rivendell misfit or the Mirkwood pariah!”
At that moment, Fíli and Kíli rushed in to diffuse the situation. The pair quickly separated the two elves and dispersed the crowd. Kíli spoke comforting words to Tauriel. Tauriel did her best to simmer down.
She spared a glance at Callonduin, who was now clapping Fíli’s shoulder and laughing. She shook her head and promised Kili that, yes, she wouldn’t pick a fight with him again. He told her he was concerned for her but she reassured him that she was fine and still intended to go on their journey.
She already said she would, and she intended to keep her word. Clearly, Callonduin couldn’t be relied on to protect her friends, so she would have to.

ok but the thing is shadow and infinite isnt a "healthy" or "good" relationship at first. it takes them years to be good for each other. they shouldn't have been together! they should have broken up years ago! but they didn't and they are working through it and eventually things work out. EVENTUALLY Infinite stops enabling Shadow's self destructive behavior and EVENTUALLY Shadow stops tolerating the admittedly unacceptible way Infinite treats him.
See, Infinite doesn't know what it's like to be with someone who doesn't want to hurt him even a little. Every relationship he's ever been in has been a really unhealthy and dangerous power dynamic (he's been the weak one and the strong one before). It takes him YEARS DECADES maybe even CENTURIES to realize Shadow is NOT LIKE THAT. Shadow didn't even really want to specifically hurt Infinite when they first encountered each other in the Mystic Ruins. He was just doing a job. It takes Infinite such a long time to understand that. He's so obsessed with Shadow but he has this one conflicting core understanding with Shadow that he simply cannot wrap his head around. He needs to stay in control so that "when Shadow tries to fuck him over he has a way to regain the upper hand."
Shadow thinks he's lesser than everyone, even Infinite. Even though Infinite literally started a war and wanted to destroy everything just because he was bored. If Infinite wants all the power over him, Shadow is okay with that because surely he deserves it for being such a miserable creature. When Infinite calls him names and treats him poorly he just lets it happen because Infinite is the first person he's met in a long time who will treat him in a way he understands. To Shadow, this is unfortunately what true love looks like. Being attacked is familiar, and Shadow knows that when people are kind to him he doesn't know how to deal with it. He thinks Infinite is giving him a form of stability that he can't live without.
What's confusing for both of them is that they do have moments of tenderness, and they do have inexplicable boundaries that they never cross with each other. They've never discussed their limits, but there are things they would never do to each other because it'd be too much.
They have moments of vulnerability, where they are just sitting beside each other and Infinite is telling Shadow how beautiful he is. And Shadow believes it because he's pretty sure that Infinite wouldn't waste his time being nice if he didn't mean it. Shadow introduced Infinite to a part of himself he didn't know existed, a part of himself that doesn't want to have to try to hard to reach for the top. But that vulnerability is terrifying at first and neither of them want to acknowledge it. It just happens and then its back to business as usual again. They don't talk about it.
They will do things to each other that cause conflict or anger, enable each other's worst habits, but they won't try to change each other's identities. That's the hard limit. They might have an argument where they harp on each other's bad behavior, but it's just talk. They'd never do anything to each other that would actively contribute to a crisis because one thing they both understand on a fundamental level is that changing the answers to core questions like "What is my purpose?" or "What do I believe is right?" is mind breaking. They never force each other to do things that challenge the status quo or threaten to shake their already deteriorating stability.
But this boundary is also part of the problem. They, for a long time, don't let each other grow and absolutely get worse! They break each other down, but they keep making excuses for why they should stay together. People who constantly fight with each other should not be together!
And when I say "together" I don't really mean together. Their relationship is a situationship at best, but Infinite still refers to Shadow as his boyfriend. Shadow insists they aren't even friends, but doesn't really passionately refute when Infinite says they are together. He just deflects. Of course he wants to be Infinite's partner, but that commitment is terrifying and he doesn't get how Infinite can be ready to commit like that even though it's been YEARS. It feels so impermanent because Shadow's perception of time is based on his immortality. That's one thing Infinite doesn't have (doesn't really think he has).
Two things jade them: time and people.
Shadow and Infinite won't challenge each other's core values, but time and people will. For Shadow, this comes in the form of his admittedly slightly larger support system: people like Rouge Amy and Big especially, but also Sonic to some degree. Infinite stagnates. His only support system is Shadow, really. He also has, like, Big and Sonic and Wave, but he isn't ever vulnerable with them in the way Shadow is with his. Shadow starts to grow, Infinite doesn't.
Infinite is definitely the worse off in this relationship. Shadow always knew that. They both knew it when they got together. Shadow has a savior complex. He thought he could fix it.
It in fact gets worse. Infinite is just bound to break that unspoken boundary they set, and Shadow has to put his foot down. Only then do they break all of their walls down and talk about those unacknowledgable moments. Only then do they get better. They can't work out unless they start to see each other as equals, but it's a really slow process for them to explore what that looks like or how its possible.

I’ve mentioned in my Ambivalent Souls infodump but I have a crack au that just inserts those OCs into the story of Death Note.
Hare is Light, Zerie is L, Midnight is Misa, Thirio is Ryuk, Attakai is Rem, Maroon is Near, and Feil is Mello.
I’ve drawn… a lot in a short amount of time. Haha. Whoops.
The au follows the main story of Death Note (the show) with some slight characterization changes. If you wanna ask me about it, my inbox is open!

How'd Augusta end up being radioactive? :o
Tumblr media
A second chance.
// suicidal themes below
Augusta originally worked as a part time astronaut at a Star Depot, which collected star Fragments and sent them back to earth to be used as fuel similar to nuclear power.
Augusta wasn’t really in a good place at the time while working there. She never had any kind of big ambition in life and wanted to live life peacefully, but knew that “getting by” isn’t enough for her to survive. People around her kept expecting so much of her that she didn’t know what to tell them.
Working as an astronaut helps take her mind off things at first, but then she starts to feel worse. She doesn’t get invited out to things, but she doesn’t really make any effort to try, and relatives are asking how she’s doing and she doesn’t know what to tell them without it turning into a lecture. and over time it piles up
First she starts asking for more shifts handling and shipping the stars. Then she asks to do overtime. And finally one day she finds a tiny Fragment on the floor.
The thing about Fragments is that they change your body and can make you very sick if youre near them for too long.
Tomorrow would be a holiday and the building would be closed. The Shift manager, who promised to close up, left early for drinks with coworkers. So she was the only employee working.
So she picks up the star and swallows it expecting to die. But instead her hair turns pink and the dust around her floats, and when she breathes no air comes out. The Star fused to her body and latched to her heart.
Basically, her suicide attempt gave her her own way to live and pink hair as a bonus lol

show us your oc lore!!
I'm so sorry but it's exclusively my Splatoon OCs
Tumblr media
I'm not at ALL confident in how legible this is, but this is my Web Of Lesbianism(tm), AKA how (almost) all of my lesbian sploon OCs connect to each other, excluding a few who only connect in small places and/or I don't feel like making icons for. Sorry to Scarlet, who absolutely warrants a place here, but I simply Do Not Want to make an icon for </3
Lore under the readmore because I get extremely rambly. whoops and apologies and this is probably the only time i'll ever let myself get THIS infodump-y in a Tumblr post. I'm writing this after I wrote it all out and I'm so fucking sorry it's literally over 2k words because I have no ability to stop once I've started and I've been outright POSSESSED by these losers for the past month. Here's basically everything about my Splatoon OCs
FOR NAMES. Top right is Basil (Blue tentacles), middle right is Penny (Her name is just written because I haven't drawn her yet), bottom right is June (Pink tentacles), bottom middle is Jake (Blue tentacles), bottom left is Parker (Purple tentacles, also the sanitized icon), middle left is Ruby (Orange tentacles), and top left is May (Pink tentacles)
Everything starts when May, Jake, and Ruby are all around ~16-17, while June, May's little sister, is around ~9. May is VERY into Jake, and Jake's just generally a big flirt and a huge romantic, though it's unsure if he really realizes May's extremely obvious crush on him (He doesn't), or he reciprocates, which is unfortunate, because Ruby, who's May's childhood best friend, is also very into her, but May doesn't realize this. When [UNDECIDED EVENT] happens and May and Jake both come to the realization they need to head to the surface to escape the oppressive Octarian domes, Ruby being with them is very clearly an afterthought, and she knows it. So, her jealousy over Jake being someone May has known for less time yet clearly loves more than her, and the fact that trying to escape being very, very illegal, she turns them both in.
Jake manages to call May before he's caught to warn her that Ruby turned them in and the cops will already be heading to her parents house, which gives May enough time to run home, grab June, and make a run for it. Both May and Jake manage to outrun the cops, with May and June ending up far into the outskirts of the domes, while Jake only gets further and deeper within them.
Around a month or two after their initial escape, May's spotted by a patrol of soldiers stationed right around the way to the surface, with the soldier who spots her specifically being Scarlet, the oldest sister to Ruby (Who's not featured here because I don't want to make her icon), who remembers May from when she was a kid and, alongside that, has been feeling disillusioned with life as a soldier, despite her high ranking, and decides not only to let May go, but to even share rations with her. This only increases as Scarlet realizes May is the runaway who's known to have a young child with her, and it goes from Scarlet sparing her own rations to stealing rations from the squad she leads to make sure both May and June are able to eat properly.
Of course, this doesn't last long, as Crimson, the middle sister to Scarlet and Ruby, and fellow soldier stationed with Scarlet's squad, gets suspicious of the missing rations, Scarlet's dismissal of the issue, and her wandering off frequently, and ends up following her and finds her giving the stolen rations to May. A fight breaks out between the two, with Crimson managing to nearly take Scarlet's eye out in the process, as Scarlet's the only person ever to bring a gun to a knife fight and lose. May booked it the MOMENT Crimson jumped out, so she's long gone by the time the scuffle ends, but Scarlet, having just been caught stealing rations, aiding a runaway, and now attacking a fellow soldier (Even if in self defense), bolts to try and make it to the surface as well, albeit she doesn't know where May ran off to.
May ends up making it to the surface around a month after that incident, after wandering lost for the time between, and, while struggling to try and buy some clothes thanks to the language barrier between her and the commonly spoken languages of the surface, one of the employees working there, Penny, is able to help figure out what May's looking for, and helps her with the whole process, since it's a lot different from how it was in the domes. They don't end up seeing each other after that for around a year, but it's important when they do, as Penny's was the first person on the surface May really had a good experience with, so when they randomly run into each other, May's very happy to be able to tell her how meaningful that was to her, and that she's much more adjusted to the culture and language now.
Meanwhile, Jake! Jake ends up wandering deep within the domes, far away from where the actual settlements and cities are, for over a year, just barely surviving through scavenging and avoiding patrolling soldiers. Still, he's not great at it, and eventually he ends up being held at gunpoint by Parker, who insists he tell her his rank and what he's doing out here. He has no idea, as he was never in the military and lies through his teeth. Luckily for him, Parker is a military deserter, and would've had a much worse reaction had she believed him, instead realizing that he's not a soldier and has no idea what he's talking about. Parker's been hiding out in the area, an abandoned sewer system that's frequented as a supply route for soldiers, for several months at this point, and while she actually enjoys her life of living down there, it's a lot of work to survive on her own, and realizing Jake's a fugitive also means he's a potential survival partner.
The two end up meeting up once every day for around a week before Parker feels confident enough that Jake isn't going to screw her over or try and turn her in or anything, and invites him to live with her at her "apartment", an old maintenance closet that's very secluded and not marked on any military maps, under the agreement that the two of them actually work together. Jake instantly agrees because he's been miserable and awful for the past year, while Parker's doing surprisingly well for herself, she even has multiple sets of clothes that she's stolen from nearby outposts (As well as an entire mattress she stole, and her most prized possession, a full deck of playing cards, and an Octo Shot she definitely killed a man for), as opposed to Jake, who's been going off of only what he had on him when everything went down, which is... practically nothing.
The plot basically slows down and chills out here for a while, May and June end up moving in with Penny after a few months of May and Penny hanging out instead of having to live in the shitty motel they'd been living in before (Albeit, the motel was better than the wilds they'd been living in before that), and Parker and Jake get adjusted to their lives in hiding surprisingly well. May and Scarlet even find each other on the surface again, they run into each other while May's out grocery shopping, and it's a very important moment for the both of them, as they've spent this entire time carrying around the guilt of feeling responsible for what happened, so them seeing the other and seeing how much better they're doing on the surface helps ease those guilts.
And then the events of Octo Expansion happen in the background. Parker and Jake know the routines of the soldiers in the area after years of living together, but the supply lines end up being used by sanitized Octoling soldiers after Kamabo starts massively ramping up production, leading to patrols of sanitized soldiers at seemingly random intervals, and outside of the predictable patterns that Parker and Jake were used to. Parker's out doing the laundry when a patrol finds her, and, greatly outnumbering her, end up nearly killing her, and dragging her back to be sanitized. She's in too bad of condition to be saved and reused as a test subject, so she's just sanitized instead.
Jake, naturally, notices when Parker never comes back from doing the laundry, and proceeds to be missing for upwards of two weeks. Jake does his best to look for her, but he also doesn't want to stray too far from their "apartment", as he's scared she might return home when he's gone, and with the unpredictable patrols, he doesn't feel like it's safe to stay out for as long as he wants to to look for her, so he ends up sticking close to home and just hoping he'll be able to find some clue of her. Of course, when he finally does, finally spotting her hanging around the entrance to the hallways that lead to their apartment, it's Not a good thing. He runs up to her to ask where she's been, and the moment he calls for her she turns and attacks him. It's not even a fair fight, even if he went in expecting a fight, he wouldn't have won, but this was a complete surprise. She quickly attacks him and takes him back to be put into the metro as a test subject, and, since he was brought back in much better shape than she was, he actually can be salvaged as a test subject!
And then he isn't. He's in the process of being readied as a test subject, namely, having his memories messed with, that the entire plot of Octo Expansion actually happens, and he's freed when the entire facility shuts down, and the metro is just a normal transport system again. He ends up wandering around for another month or so, except doing so very poorly, as the effects that being prepped to be a test subject had on his memory is bad, and basically erased all of his knowledge on how to survive on his own. Eventually, and luckily for him, he's found by one of the rescue teams that have been sent out in the aftermath of Octo Expansion to rescue lost and sanitized Octolings, and FINALLY gets brought to the surface, as well as being hospitalized for a whole myriad of problems, mainly being severely dehydrated from not remembering safe ways to find and gather water reliably.
When he's ready to be discharged, he realizes he has really nowhere to go, but since he still remembers May's phone number from when they were kids (As it's been years at this point, May and Jake are both in their mid 20s now, and June's around ~17), and calls her to ask if she can come pick him up and also if he can crash at her place for a bit. May is more than a bit surprised that her childhood friend she was fairly convinced had died years ago, and that she feels guilty for abandoning, is not only still alive, but super casual and chill just. Calling her cell and asking if he can sleep on her couch. At this point, June's already moved out, having been encouraged by both May and Penny to get out on her own and try getting out of her comfort zone, and is living in Splatsville with her roommate Basil, and not really having any major plot moments of her own. She's having fun and coming out of her shell and having silly lesbian shenanigans with her roommate in the background while Jake and May are experiencing the horrors.
Ultimately, this is about where thing stop being decided and I still need to figure out what happens next. Jake is living on May and Penny's couch (The universe will never let them have their house to themselves. Not even 3 months after June moves out, Jake's crashing on their couch), and has no memory of his time with Parker, Parker's MIA and potentially dead, and May's struggling with the idea that Jake's either in denial of some major trauma he must've faced through the years, or that she's somehow uniquely fucked up from what happened to them. To make matters worse, Jake's memory issues become more and more apparent, as he continues to struggle to remember Penny's name, instead repeatedly calling her "Parker", yet getting confused when he's corrected. I'm ultimately unsure what I'm going to do to resolve this plot thread, but May and Penny do realize that whoever Parker was, she was someone Jake knew in the time he was missing, and are trying to figure out just exactly who she was, if not where she actually is
Whether or not Parker is dead... it's up in the air. I initially planned for her to die and stay dead, but I'm the worlds biggest sap and I feel bad about killing her off permanently, as well as the fact I have plenty of silly ideas for what I could do with Parker once she's on the surface, so I'm still debating if it's more narratively satisfying for her to die or not. There's, if you believe it, actually a ton I'm glossing over (The intricacies of Jake and Parker's dynamic, the reasons why Parker left, basically everything about Basil and June, literally Basil has an entire friend group that has their own mini-plot that's not at all connected to this and doesn't get mentioned, Crimson is going to be more relevant once I figure out what I want to do with her, ect), but uh. That's the very long gist of it.
If anyone actually, genuinely reads through all of this. Thank you, apologies, and I love you

Not a request, just wanted to share these.
A fifth employee that got cast out due to their uncooperativeness and radical ideas. They reside deep underground where they practice their craft of welding metal, out of their contraptions they make a stable home durable as a bomb shelter. In their comfort they didn't expect any visitors, especially not the golden glow of the keystone.
—----------------------------
A botanist that acts like Jebediah's and Tricky's peaskeeper (to varying degrees of success). They wear garments reminiscent of the grim reaper and weld a sickle to harvest the crops that they grew in their greenhouse. Is appointed Nevada's official, and only, gardener. (i have a much more detailed version of this but it's like five pages long).
—----------------------------
Daimos isn't the only one that dissented, a young ex agent, throughout knowing each other they build a sibling like relationship. Although they're not in the main SQ crew they're still an honorary member.
—----------------------------
An escaped test subject finds themselves in the middle of a Zed outbreak, they scratch, kick and punch their way through the undead gaining a few scratches and bite marks themselves. Out of the rubble of undead they find Victor who's surprised at their resilience, and immunity.
These are just your ocs aint they ;p interesting ideas tho!
I imagine there's basically an employer for every kind of need, so one capable of tearing up the earth and forging weapons would be plausible. A large and wide figure, a crooked back from hours of clawing at the earth and leaning over a forge, bashing scalding steel to create unbreaking blades.
Bright embers floating from deep orange eyes, irritated to be bothered by someone, someone who somehow survived (re floated passed) all their traps. A deep husky voice, like that of a heavy chain-smoker from centuries of ash inhalation. "You dare to break into my sanctuary? Turn back, lest your body be torn asunder to forge a new blade, mortal."
But when they realise Jeb just wants his sword repaired they're cool lol.
- The botanist is kinda along the same lines as my gal Jack, but she ain't need to play peacekeeper, Tricky becomes a little more civilised around 'the pretty lady.' He has vague memories of her being kind to him when he was still Hofnarr.
Alas the reaper motif is a cool way of taking it, it makes them fit in with the environment a lot better, dark clothing and a massive weapon is all you need to be 'normal' out there. A great and watchful harvester, terrifying to behold, but incredibly gentle.
A starving grunt tries to ignore the hunger pangs, tries to think of anything else, when a dark shape comes into view. The reaper, Stygian, has finally come to claim him, a terrible life with a silent end, how depressing. A basket of carrots and other veggies comes from below the robes. A reaper, yes, but of the grim? No.
-
There's 100% some other dissented agents chilling in/around the main SQ base, inspired by a tale of two grunts defying everything and building up a resistance to the boot that crushes the little guy. Sometimes a few clones from a batch dissent, and the rest of the group pays for it, they must all be defective and therefore must die.
Deimos is quick to bond with just about anyone, and with shared history? He's stuck like glue to whoever. Dissenters be damned, right? Well damnation is more fun when you're together.
Having gone through some of the worst torture from his fellow agency men {due in part to being an orphan, and being trans in my opinion}, he'll comfort and reassure just about anyone else who's lived that hell. You got out, you survived the worst, and now you're fighting back. Fuck yeah, stick it to the man.
-
Vic would absolutely drag this person to Skinner, or Doc, maybe even both if he can catch them together. If you can be resistant to ZEDs, surely there's a cure right? Where better to start looking than in someone incapable of transforming.

mordecai is the first funny bitch like spends 90% of his time literally just standing there going "i'm dapressed" to himself while everyone in the vicinity takes potshots and then he's clocking in for the night shift where for the next 9 hours people go "god mordecai would it kill you to act like you're having more fun at the [kills you] factory"
#The First Funny Bitch as a phrase from the ''cain was the first funny bitch'' post that i will use with some flexibility. yaknow.#i love going like oh boy a coworker triumvirate. their funny little guy (other duo going ''i want him dead'')#though it's unfair to the savoys lmfao if he's at best sometimes a desk toy to them: they do at least keep calling him babygirl#and giving him special mordecai invitations (by not inviting him) to their hotel room to try to marry him#so if nothing else we do appreciate adding a ton of flair to [afflicting the autistic coworker]#in turn i appreciate that mordecai and viktor's dynamic probably consisted of mutual ''i Do Not Care if my coworker seems weird''#but outside of that; was anyone at lackadaisy aggrieving mordecai with the style & variety that the savoys bring....perhaps not#an upgrade in that realm....and there seems to be Some mutual [i do not care if my coworker seems weird] there again too lol#even while they've all probably been working together like half a week & haven't all worn their getalong sweater long enough#and already mordecai is doing his [not just literally standing there] rogue lone mystery solving deal lmao. wild card that he is#lackadaisy#oh also speaking of [before mordecai went grr i Hate still working here; ripped off the fridge door; went & got a new Hated job]#it's pure bonus comic realm & particularly Elevated Silly Goofs genre at that; but#points for ivy having that Younger Sibling dynamic w/mordecai w/the implication she takes his forbidden condiments index seriously#and like; in general lol not even just a [it's serious when it comes to dealing with this weird guy] way. all the more powerful for that#wait i nearly forgot to mention the hot new otp: mordecai / j.j.#that's right [sad trombone] providing guy. i know enough. first funny bitch 4 first funny bitch.#[guy doing his own thing & everyone's like Get His Ass] 4 [guy doing his own thing & everyone's like Get His Ass]#and ofc because it is funny in & of itself. & basically like Your New OC. so much room to maneuver that you cannot crash#also hmm like if your nickname for someone is Maybe ''annoying mf'' does it cancel out....eh#numbers flying around intense focus like everything points to ''hatchet would directly translate to hatchette not petit hache''#and if you mon petit hache it (read this w/such a meter that it all rhymes)#900 tons of restraint not going ''wow this is just like analyzing billions'' & by even saying i've managed to avoid as much; now i haven't

Blue and not fully human gang rise up
#keese draws#oc posting#eternal gales#just two more characters left! bloom and tali :D#I have both sketched already too so they should be finished soon#which is great for me because it gives me over a month to not have to worry abt refs too much for artfight#I’ll probably still make and remake some more refs but these are the ones I care abt#but yeah for those unaware fydd is half human half bird alien and dodie is mostly human but made with ~magic~ sort of#oh and fun fact that idk if I’ve ever mentioned but in the old story that fydd’s alien half comes from they were called taziens or smth#his moms are also from that old story along with two dodie’s mom and another alien guy#his name is grumps and he never actually comes up proper but he does exist in the world of eternal gales#fydd’s moms are recky and becky with Recky being the alien and also a poet and becky being an ex warriors kid#and dodie’s lame nonbinary mom is named cups and they’re just trying to not have a panic attack#there was also I believe two other characters from that story along with one one of my siblings made#but the two I didn’t bring back were ones that were added later on in that story’s development and ofc Im not stealing an old oc lol#but yeah the other two were brothers who were conjoint by the wings snd they were like lego kids or smth I think?#I rly dont remember this story was from a Long time ago and while it maintained my interest longer than most of my stories at the time#I still ended up losing interest fairly quickly after I started conceptualising eternal gales#and by that I mean a couple months later I think? idk my memory of that time period is fuzzy

@maileesque iblings......
[image id: two sketches of my ocs. the one on the left is cass, a girl with straight long hair and bangs. she has big round eyes and a button nose. she smiles at the viewer, her hair and cape flowing behind her. she holds a smiling mask halfway covering her face with one hand and waves with the other.
the one on the right is a bust drawing of ed, a guy. he has a nose with a bump, thin lips, a hooded eye with an eyebag under it, and a spiky eyebrow. his straight, slightly spiky hair goes down to the base of his neck and half of it is pulled back, indicated by a little doodle of his side profile. he also has a splash shaped scar covering the left side of his face and stretching down to the side of his neck and shoulder. his left eye is not open fully due to his scar. end id.]

Hooooo boy. 6.5k words into this OrangeHook fic. This thing is TOO LONG and it ain't even done yet. For the love of God, it's Hook and OC! These boys are MONOSYLLABIC, THEY DO NOT SPEAK MUCH AT ALL! And yet, I'm having them go on and on and on. To be fair, there's a lot of internal monologue in there and Intense Rumination, so it's not all talking. But there's still waaaaay too much dialogue for it to be these two. This is probably horrendously out of character, LOL. But I'm having fun with it, so *shrugs*
I'm right at the point where It Happens. This should be where it gets smutty but knowing me, I'll probably chicken out and just do an annoying fade-to-black like I usually do. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't tempted to make it a ''And they were both bottoms...'' moment, and then leave it at that.

rough sketch of my gals when they first met vs current. they hate each other and have gay sex about it.
I made them as a sort of parody? ripoff? of james bond from the perspective of someone whose only exposure to james bond besides general cultural osmisis is the star trek ds9 episode our man bashir and this one skyfall fanfic I read like 3 years back
