So UPG here guys just trying to talk myself through something while high thought maybe someone might like to read,
Anyway
So I started reading into the occult at 13 I was zoned in on it immediately I read a lot bought shit, library had a nice sized selection for a small town, online shit a little not a lot cause I kept getting satanist shit that at the time freaked me out,
So I don't remember when I first saw the idea that all gods are one god, usually refered in these books as Spirit, the Spirit at the top of the pentacle/pentagram,
The first time I heard it I'd instantly disliked it, it felt rude to the gods to say they weren't distinct people just masks, and I also knew enough to know the people whose gods these books were referring to, the people whose religions these were wouldn't agree to that, at least the ones I was a little familiar with, I knew Christians for damn sure would be pissed to here that their god was also Zeus, like no they'd be pissed,
So I didn't like it, but there felt like there was something to that so I never fully away from it,
And now as I'm looking more closely into different pantheons I'm starting to maybe see a pattern,
All the gods seem to come from something else and that flows down to us,
Simplified
Greek, Gods made us Titans made them,
Norse, gods made us, Odin and others had what Yimir as a father and made like the world/Como's out of his body,
There was god, let there be light,
So on and so forth but it seems to get the a point where you're hearing,
There was nothing
Then there was the gods
So if that's the standard case here then is there something the gods came from, did something birth the gads,
And if so,
Is it sentient, does it feel, if the gods came from it and we come from the gods and children from us, and such and the same for all manner of things human, animal, plant, spirit, such and such
Does that mean this Thing the gods come from does it contain everything everywhere and yes all at once?
Is there a main source of everything that IS everything and so if it feels everything then does it both love and hate us is it not also indifferent, unaware of us?
Anyway I'm still thinking on this I had another thread but lost it while getting this down, how it goes eh? Been thing on and off about this sorta thing since the beginning of this year 31s got me all sorta contemplating

DP X DC SPEED FORCE LINKED WITH INFINITE REALMS
Every Flash, no matter the version or earth, canonically is using the same Speed Force. The DCAU Flash uses the same Speed Force as the Earth-16 Flash, pre-crisis Flash, etc. You get the idea. That's even how speedsters can travel universes! Because the Speed Force is the same for all of them, it allows for a connection between all universes. And even better canonically Speed Force users don’t just use it or channel it. They are physical embodiments of the Speed Force. (and I’m uncertain if this is still dc canon or if this has been retconned by now but Speedsters are the outlet for the Speed Force. They cannot stop running or put down the Flash costume in some versions of their character as they do not have a choice if there is not another speedster. They must continue to run or there is no outlet for it then time gets all fucky and unstable with objects from the past appearing in the present. Think Into the Spider-Verse type glitching but with a threat of the timeline collapsing in on itself if it continues too far & isn't fixed.)
Now let's discuss the Infinite Realms. In fanon its been held that similar logic applies. While unlike the Speed Force in that ghosts aren't the physical outlet for the energy of the Zone (but that would be a very fun concept for Ghost King AU), they can harness the energy from the Zone. Also like the Speed Force, the Infinite Realms in fanon can be used as a method of contacting or reaching other universes and that no matter the earth, version, or point in history. There is one Ghost Zone. It is infinite, it spans across all universes and times.
The link between the fact that speedsters Are The Speed Force & the tie between both the Speed Force and the Infinite Realms being a similar constant in all universes could be explored in so many ways. One of which is that the Speed Force and the Infinite Realms resonate on similar frequencies (or opposing frequencies as comic book logic would totally be on my side for that working) and Speedsters might react to the exposure or leakage of the Infinite Realms into their world depending if the Infinite Realms are similar or opposing to the Speed Force. But either way there is a fundamental connection between the two.
So, to conclude, have one of my many ideas where these two intersect:
- Barry Allen captured and disarmed a new rogue toting an odd glowing green gun. Barry being the smart motherfucker he is, disassembles the weapon and proceeds to be utterly confused. He accidentally touched the weird glowing green substance that was leaking out of the device but when the side of his hand brushed the touched the substance it administered an oddly familiar feeling shock of electricity. But that wasn’t right. The Speed Force feels alive with a rhythm and pulse of that he could feel resonate with each beat of his heart. But whatever this was felt, for lack of better words, dead. Stagnant. Ancient. It already reached infinity and instead of continuing to expand with continuous energy, it had already stopped long ago.
A shiver went down his spine as he went to write up a report to the Watchtower, warning anyone else about these weird weapons and a request for Bats to look more into the Drs. Fenton.
- Wally accidentally vibrates at the wrong frequency when trying to go through a wall and falls into the GZ
- Alternatively: Bart Allen can at will open a portal to the GZ and that’s how he got back to the past. In addition to being the ADHD embodiment the Young Justice knows very well, he’s also just a Tad liminal. His eyes are backlit with lightning when angry. When he runs, his electricity is tinged green giving a fun red, yellow, green, white color scheme. But the YJ crew just chalk it up to Bart being from the future and having anger issues while connected to the Speed Force.
- Speedsters being able to understand ghost speak but in the same manner that while a modern English speaker can understand maybe a few words in a sentence of Old English, it’s still pretty fucking hard but like, some things they can kinda gleam what they’re saying. It just ends up making things even more confusing from misunderstandings and changes in meaning causing miscommunication to occur.
I have so many more ideas based on this but for now I’m going to leave those for other days so I can go to bed.

Now, what I want to see from star trek is how aliens represent other aliens in art. Imagine if that ancient Bajoran guy who space-sailed to cardassia came back and told ppl how cardassians look, spawning hundreds of kinda shitty drawings in bestiaries after a long game of telephone where they barely look recognisable (like these: first is a scorpion, second is a panther)
[Image ID: a square medieval illustration of a creature with a human-ish face, a fish-like body, and four limbs sticking out akimbo. it has a sharp tail that is piercing someone's hand. /.End ID]
[Image ID: a deer-shaped creature with a red belly, face, and legs, a blue back, green butt, and beige neck. it has white streaks coming out of its mouth, as if it's exhaling or spitting. a group of rams, sheep and deer look at it, with very confused expressions. /. End ID]
All the pre-warp species that the federation had broken the prime directive with must have some sick paintings of vaguely humanoid creatures standing around in matching outfits.
BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY: do other species have something like the zodiac? Or drawings of the star systems around their planet, using familiar figures to link different stars together? What did they call the foreign planets, before they learned they were called Vulcan or Romulus or Ferenginar? Imagine all the pre-warp star maps in different alien languages and art styles. the ones we have irl say so much about the cultures they were made in.
first pic [Image ID: a photograph of the nebra sky disk, from 1800-1600 BC. It is a turquoise coloured metal disk with a gold circle representing the sun, a crescent moon, and small circles depicting the Pleiadies star cluster. /. End ID]
second pic [Image ID: an annotated diagram of the Mayan Wakah-Chan Tree, a design found on the burial lid of Lord Pacal, from circa 680 AD. It is an illustrated diagram depicting the sun, moon and planets with intricately patterned symbols. /. End ID]
third pic [Image ID: an illustration from The Book of Fixed Stars by Abd al-Rahman al-Sufi, circa 964 ad. it depicts the constellation of Orion, using a black ink drawing of a kneeling figure with the stars drawn as red circles on different parts of the body. Each of the stars are labelled in Arabic. /. End ID]
I could go on forever about how we love to look into the vast unknown to find reflections of ourselves, and how i think star trek is an extension of that urge we've clearly been having since the dawn of time. Its not just the need to study things that will help with our everyday lives (like looking at the harvest moon), its the way we often take a celestial body and make it the symbol of a human characteristic, like how klingons represent honour and vulcans represent logic. what we think about space and what we do to fill in the gaps of the unknown say a lot about how we think in general. and according to trek we think a lot about weird little blokes in weird little outfits so. yh fair enough
i think this is my most research heavy shitpost ever lmao. but please add ur thoughts or take these ideas however u like

reading pjo and as a result dabbling in hellenistic polytheism (read: i wanted it to be real sooooo bad) as a kid has left me with a longstanding fondness for greek mythology and the vague yet never fading idea of having a Patron Deity. when i was a kid it was hekate because i was emo and into witchy stuff but now my god bestie is definitely dionysus. wine and hedonism and insanity and also the best color (purple)
