Bakugou x reader who’s Aizawa’s daughter where it’s reader’s birthday and Bakugou is planning this big surprise for them?? I think it would be super cute loll

reader: Aizawa Fem!child

Summary: bakugo wants to surprise his girlfriend on her birthday— but needs some help. Unfortunately Mina’s help wasn’t enough and he would need to specifically ask aizawa.

warnings: possible ooc, swearing,

other: established relationship, reader is in 1A, takes place during first year.

(I kinda failed at this one I’m so sorry— getting use to writing Fem!reader)

You and bakugo had been dating for about 4 months at this point. It wasn’t that long of a time yet bakugo had already met your parents. Well— that was mainly due to your father being both of your teachers.

bakugo knew your birthday was coming up soon. He would never admit to it but he had multiple reminders on his phone so he wouldn’t forget. It was your first birthday you would spend together while dating… despite that he wanted it to be a birthday for you to remember.

unfortunately for him, you can’t plan a big birthday for someone without help.

“Hey bakugo— what’s with all the staring? It’s kinda creeping me out-“ Denki speaking snapped bakugo out of his thoughts. He sent a glare in his direction. “Shut the hell up dunce face.”

“oooo~ thinkings about Y/N~~?” Minas voice broke through as she sat at the lunch table next to the two. “Tch- as if.” Mina laughed slightly at his response. “On the topic of Y/N, you get her anything for her birthday yet?” Bakugo seemed to freeze up at the question.

“oh my god have you actually not bought anything yet-? That seems weirdly unlike you!” “shut up I- I just want to make sure I buy the right thing.”

“Hmmm~? Then why don’t we help you out later then!” Mine suggested slightly leaning over the table, you could see her eyes sparkle.

“in your dreams! I can do it on my own.” He rolled his eyes, his arms crossed as he was slouched in his seat.

“cmon~~! Just let us tag along!” Mina was leaning so far over the table so her face was right up infront of bakugo. “Cmon man! You should totally let us come with!”

bakugo flinched slightly, he hasn’t even noticed kirishima had sat down beside him. “Ugh fine-! Just shut up already will ya?”

the “searching for a gift for Y/N” didn’t take long to turn into “Mina drags everyone through every store in the damn mall”

the results were— disappointing to say the least.

“ooo-! Let’s get her this necklace!”

“How much money do you think we have?!”

“this shirt is pretty cute-!”

“I’ve seen five seperate people wearing that on the way here- no way.”

“we could just go with the classic chocolates.”

“that’s too basic!”

and so on.

“Damnit— there’s nothing good enough in this shit hole.”

Denki turned to bakugo. “I mean— can we just ask her close friends what she wants? Maybe to get some ideas-?”

“dumbass— we are her close friends. Who the hell are we supposed to ask if none of us have any good ideas?!”

“I mean we could always ask—“

“don’t you dare.”

“cmon man! It’s not like we have much of a choice!”

and this is how bakugo found himself standing outside of the 1A classroom after school had ended. If none of Y/N’s closest friends knew what to buy her— then the next best person to ask was… her dad.

Bakugo hesitated for a moment before knocking on the door. He was met with silence. He rolled his eyes not bothering to knock again as he walked right in.

of course he was met with a yellow sleeping bag on the floor fully zipped up. He let out an annoyed sigh about to leave before he heard the zipper come undone. he looked back to see the sleeping bag nowhere to be found and I aizawa standing in its place.

“what do you need?” Aizawa spoke in his normal monotone yet mildly annoyed voice. “I— I need help with something.”

Aizawa raised an eyebrow, it was unlike bakugo to go to someone for help, especially his teacher. This caused aizawa a small bit of worry but he didn’t show it.

“…with?” Bakugo looked away slightly as if embarrassed to say the next words. “It’s- about Y/N” he could feel aizawa gaze peircing through his skull. Aizawa eyes were glowing a bright red as his hair floated slightly.

“did something happen to her?” Despite asking a question it sounded more like a demand. “No! I just- i Need help with… something….” Aizawa softened his gaze, his hair and eyes returning to normal.

“do you know what kind of things… she likes…?”

“you’ve been dating for how long and you don’t even know what she likes?”

“no-! I- that’s not what I meant! Tch. I mean like— more personal things!”

Bakugo let out an annoyed sigh rolling his eyes. “I don’t even know why I bothered aski—“ “wait.” Bakugo turned back to aizawa. “I have a few things that may be useful.

needless to say— you got basically everything that you could even think of wanting on your birthday, it was a little concerning since you weren’t aware how bakugo learned about all the specific items you wanted, but— you were still happy.

do you have any tips on writing? i wanna start my own blog and start writing, but im not sure where to start and how to make it sound good.

ofc! i do wanna preface by saying i’m by no means an expert, and when it comes to writing (or any form of creative expression) a lot of it is very subjective, so there’s not really any set standard for your writing to be considered “good” outside of basic writing/grammar rules! that being said, here are some things i do!

first just a few basic rules:

1.) start a new paragraph each time someone different is speaking

e.g. “What’s that?” she asked, tilting her head in the direction of the other room.

He squinted, taking a moment to listen carefully before another dull thud echoed through the door. “Not sure,” he replied. “Let’s check it out.”

2.) when seperating dialogue, don’t capitalize dialogue tags, treat the text in quotations and outside of quotations as if they’re the same sentence. this is one i didn’t learn until quite recently actually…😭

e.g. “Oh my God,” she muttered. “Why are you so difficult?”

The exception to this would be if the dialogue is seperated by a different sentence!

e.g. “Oh my God.” She was clearly fed up, running a hand down her face with a huff. “Why are you so difficult?”

3.) when a character is quoting something within their dialogue, don’t use quotation marks (“”), use apostrophes (‘’)

e.g. “He told me “do what you want”, so I will.” (this is wrong)

“He told me ‘do what you want’, so I will.” (this is right!)

as for writing tips, these are just some things that i personally do when i write! they’re not necessarily the right way to go abt it, so only follow the advice you want! i also talked a bit abt motivation here

include actions w dialogue! this can keep things from getting monotonous (like a constant back and forth of “he said” “she said” with little in between) and can also emphasize what the characters are saying! for example, instead of writing “he replied dismissively” you could say “he replied, giving a dismissive wave of his hand” or instead of “she said in exasperation” you could say “she rolled her eyes as she spoke” just little things like that to enhance the dialogue. ofc, keeping it simple is necessary sometimes so don’t overdo this!

that brings me to another point, adverbs aren’t bad (i use them a lot!) but sometimes what ur trying to say could be better expressed with just one word. it can get a bit repetitive if things are always described like “said awkwardly” “laughed loudly” “touched softly” etc. you might be able to find a word that gets the point across better. for example, “said irritably” could be “huffed”, “walked casually” could be “sauntered”, “smiled brightly” could be “beamed” and so on. but there are plenty of cases where adverbs are super useful so definitely don’t avoid them altogether!! i just try to make sure i dont use a bunch in a row

simple dialogue tags like “said” “asked” “replied” are your friend!! don’t avoid using them just bc they might seem generic hehe esp if you’re substituting them w verbs that are less appropriate simply for the sake of not using “said”

sometimes, you’re better off not including dialogue at all! like the whole premise of “show, don’t tell”, spelling out every last thing for the reader can sometimes work against you. body language and cultivating an atmosphere is key here! if it’s an awkward situation, you could bring up someone averting their eyes, shifting from side to side, playing with their fingers etc. if it’s a serious situation, you could mention their tensed shoulders/facial expression, their jaw clenching, them pulling away when someone tries to touch them etc. that in itself tells a story! but once again, it’s just abt using methods like these at the right times. sometimes, exposition is necessary

if ur writing abt skz, or any muse really, i think including mentions of their features/habits makes it more fun to read! it can help immerse the reader if u bring up traits that capture the character’s essence, or speech patterns that capture their voice. it’s all fictional ofc and just based off our perception of them, but i like to write skz in a way that’s at least somewhat believable in accordance w their personalities! even little things like the way jisung talks through breathy giggles, binnie’s nose scrunches, how minho looks up when he’s thinking, or how jeongin ends his sentences with a cute nod sometimes. and ofc there’s physical details as well like binnie’s chin scar, chan’s dimples, hannie’s cheek mole etc

this one is probably obvious but paragraph breaks are very important!! both to prevent overwhelming the reader with a huge block of words, and for organizing events/building tension! a paragraph never strictly has to be multiple sentences, you can have a single isolated line of text if you want. timing paragraph breaks can be very effective for creating the right vibe! if something intense is happening, putting a break right after a serious action or putting a single line of dialogue on its own can make them stand out and really add to the drama of it all hehe

don’t worry too much abt using the same word multiple times!! it might feel a lil annoying when you have to repeat a word several times in a paragraph but sometimes that’s the only option there is. if you try to replace it w 10 different synonyms instead of just referring to a book as a book, then it might end up sounding even goofier haha…so try not to stress when you feel like you’re overusing a word!

if you want your writing to be more immersive, take all senses into account!! describe more than just the character’s actions—describe sights, smells, sounds, touch, how the characters are feeling, etc!

arguably the biggest piece of advice i could give!! having varied sentence structure/length is one of the most challenging parts of writing in my opinion but so so important. when smth sounds off in your writing, it could very often be bc of the way a sentence is structured, or bc several sentences back to back are similar in length/format, which makes it flow awkwardly. i think making sure ur sentences range from long, detailed ones w several clauses, commas, semicolons, em dashes etc. to short, direct ones keeps the writing engaging! sometimes combining 2 short sentences can make the flow sound better, and sometimes breaking down a long one does the same! it also makes it a lot more effective when you have a sudden short sentence amidst several longer ones, bc there’s a clear shift in tone! generally just try to avoid having an entire paragraph of sentences that go “she did this and then this. then she did this and then this. then she did this and said that.” the variety will work wonders for how it all connects together!

ofc there are some situations where you might be going for a certain feeling or tone w your writing, in which case it can actually be a useful tactic to have repetitive sentence length/structure. maybe you want a scene to feel overwhelming w several long, complex sentences or you want to really drive in an idea by using blunt, disjointed ones. it’s all abt what you hope to achieve w your writing and your personal preference!

everything was chaotic, and luckily, the three of you found an, kuina, aguni and also heiya. there were only two games left. two more games. you'll surely get back to the real world.

“ oh i almost forgot, my good luck charm! ” kuina said, getting something from her pocket.

it was a bomb that chishiya made. you remember him giving you one too.

chishiya.

and arisu came up with a plan, luring the king of spade and using it at a close range. and you liked the idea.

and with usagi, kuina, an, heiya, and aguni they'll be the bait.

“ i'm going…too. ” you said, frowning. usagi smiled.

“ we'll do this together! ” she says, with a confident smile.

you didn't know if arisu's plan succeeded, but you heard an explosion somewhere, so the plan went good, probably.

you couldn't focus, all you can feel was the overflowing pain, in your lower abdomen. yeah. the king of spades stabbed you.

and you couldn't move, the pain hurted like a bitch. you just wanted to end this. after all, it was just one game? is it?

many hours passed, it was getting dark, you were thinking about chishiya. is he alright? oh god. you hope that he makes it out alive.

and oh, you remember that time.

“ what if we get seperated by the time this game almost ends? ” you asked him.

he chuckled, “ i'm sure, we can recognize each other anywhere. ”

you giggled, “ we're one souls, in two bodies. are we? ”

he patted your head, “ yeah. we are. ”

a small memory popping up after the wind. a deep echo in your ear.

your warm tears starts falling on your cold cheeks, not even realizing.

like a shining star in a pitch darkness, we can recognize each other anywhere.

that radiant moment will bloom forever, like a PANORAMA.

“ chishiya. . . ” you stop.

the green hill, the campfire at night before participating in games, you miss those time with him.

so precious, and you'll cherish them all.

“ we're meant to be one, like the first moment we met, my heart beats fast. ”

you'll make a way out of here in borderlands with him. you're sure of it.

@asukiess tagged me and gave me the words new, sunrise, and cuddle

New: this is from a story that I'm honestly not sure what direction I'm going with but the idea is that post-strike back/Destruction Chat Noir and Ladybug decide neither of them want to be alone so he takes her to an apartment that his mother owned

“You can look tomorrow,” Tikki said. “Give yourself the space of time and the light of a new day. You can’t go running while still sore from your last run.” Tikki gave her smile and nuzzled into her face. “Why don’t you go see if Chat Noir is done with his phone call.” Marinette nodded and called for her transformation. When Chat Noir brought her here, they agreed to go into seperate rooms so they could make the phone calls they needed to cover for themselves. Stepping into the hallway, she could see the door that Chat Noir had disappeared behind was now open. The bedroom looked to be about the same size as the one she entered, but this one was sparesly furnished with a child’s bed and a toy chest. She briefly imagined a young boy with cat ears sleeping there.

Sunrise: this is from the same story!

Adrien called for his transformation once more and stepped back out into the hallway. The light spilling in was much brighter now. He thought about just going to lay down on one of the beds, but decided to check on Ladybug first. To his suprise, instead of still snoozing away on the couch; he found Ladybug standing up next to the windows watching the sunrise. She startled as he moved to stand next to her. “Sorry for waking you.” He said. Ladybug shook her head. “No, that’s fine, I woke up when I heard the bathroom door close and had too much on my mind to get back to sleep.” “You woke up before then.” He grinned at her. “I did?” “You were like a deadweight on top of me.” He teased. “You sleep like the dead too, I had to roll you off of me to even get up. You woke up then, but I think you fell back asleep pretty quickly.” “Oh god,” Ladybug buried her face in her hands. “I don’t remember that at all. Sorry, I can be a little hard to wake up.”

For this last one I chose one of the reserve words to avoid having everything come from the same story! This one is sobbing and I cheated a little by using sobs instead of sobbing! It's from a ff14 thing I was working on. where I changed a canon scene to fit my canon/oc ship as well as deal with some of the things Amh was feeling at the time

After her initial shock Amh found her head buried in his shoulder. She was no stranger to hugs, she hugged just about everyone, but she couldnt remember the last time Alphinaud initiated a hug. The last bits of her grip on her own sanity seemed to slip away as he held her. She gripped at the fabric of his shirt and began to sob. Stop it. Stop it. STOP IT. She desperately tried to pull herself back together, but each time she thought she could stop crying more tears came. Her stomach was all tied up in knots and she was terrified she might actually throw up on Alphinaud. She could barely even breathe.

It was a hot Saturday afternoon and you desperately needed new clothes. You ran out of shorts and also because you felt confident today you decided to wear a skirt.

"Oh come on, please? It will be fun and ill buy you boba, what's better than that?" "fine" your s/I decided to tag along due to an extreme need for boba (at least I crave it all the time idk).

After shopping for new clothes as promised you went and got boba. Boba shop was on the first floor so you took the escalator to it. Unfortunately, there were also some people riding the escalator behind you and let's just say it wasn't a pleasant experience.

Xiao:

You were chattering about random stuff that happened to you that day and he wasn't paying attention until you suddenly stooped talking.

"Hey, guys check it out," said the guy behind you while pointing at you. "Oh my god, she's got a real package there, won't!" said another guy and all of them started laughing and pointing out more stuff about you and your appearance.

You were extremely embarrassed. You could feel stares burning in your back and thighs. Their 'compliments' really made you want to die. You were desperately trying to pull your skirt a bit lower which just made things worse.

Xiao noticed your struggle and gave you one of the new shirts that he recently bought. You took it, wrapped it around your waist, and mouthed a quick 'thank you'.

"Awh man, why did you do that?" "For real, don't ruin other people's fun man," xiao turned around and started spitting random insults at them: "Just. What the fuck is wrong with you, are you really spending your day in a random mall making women feel bad, embarrassed even? Get a fucking life."

The guy behind you scoffed and put his hands up, "right bro, it's not a big deal calm down, Jesus."

"just, fuck you."

You looked at xiao and gave him a small smile. He took your hand and walked towards the boba shop after the ride ended.

Scaramouche:

"You alright?" "Yeah, I'm terrific," you said and pulled your skirt a bit lower. He could sense a bit of sarcasm in your tone. "Is it true?" "Is what true?" "Those guys behind me keep making weird comments about my skirt and the way I look, like, is it too short? Why didn't you tell me at home, I could change it there," "What's up with you name, you look amazing in this skirt, I think it fits you perfectly..." "Thanks but they are making like, uh, different types of comments?"

He turned around and saw two guys behind you making weird hand gestures and laughing while looking at you.

"Hey! Cut it out," they both turned towards him. "Sorry what?" "Don't play dumb, you know what I'm talking about." "Oh, you're saying that complimenting people is a sin now? Damn sorry I didn't know. My bad."The other one was laughing hysterically.

Scaramouche was ready to continue that fight for ages but you stopped him: "Scara stop it, it's not a big deal. Just let it go." "Yeah, listen to her, it's not a big deal shortie,"

This was the breaking point for him. He punched the guy right in the face but gladly not hard enough for him to fall back. Gladly the ride has ended. You took scaramouches hand hurried in a different direction.

"You know I really should be mad at you for punching that guy but still I'm truly happy that you did. Thank you."

did you like.... seriously not learn anything from the events of a few hours ago? making a public callouts account is irresponsible and will only put people in danger again.

in regard to the doxxer last night; seriously what did you guys think would happen? your friend posted a public "hitlist" and treated stalking kia's friends as a joke, and publicly made fun of them and the people saying that posting a public list is an awful idea (thus going against his own "don't harrass anyone!" disclaimer) and encouraged others to mock them too—and then you get surprised when someone takes it too far despite steadily building a hostile environment that would encourage someone to do so?

no matter how much you deny it—your friend, by treating the idea of finding out who kia's friends are (even if theyre not proshippers AND HAVE NOTHING TO DO WITH THIS) as a joke and making a list where they were all publicly mocked, created an environment that encouraged putting real people in danger.

you're children who don't understand the ramifications of your own actions. by creating yet another list you are once again only going to put people in danger. if people didn't follow the "don't harrass anyone!!!" warning (that your friend didn't even follow himself) the first time, there is no guarantee they will follow it this time. And there is no guarantee the doxxer or some other malicious person will use the list you're planning to post as a list of targets and yet again put real people (including children—one of the people on that list was a child) in danger.

making a public list in any capacity is irresponsible and dangerous and NO amount of "dont harrass anyone guyz!!!" is going to erase the legitimate danger you are putting people in. there's a reason proshippers don't make public blocklists of antis and why the anons in your friend's inbox were so fucking panicked about the fact that your friend posted a list of people—because people knew this would happen.

warn people about proshippers in private if you must. that's completely fine and okay. the issue isn't that you're warning against people, its that you made a public list. a public list that anyone can access will only ever put people in danger, regardless of whether or not it includes a "don't harrass anyone" warning. I am begging of you, for everyone's safety take the list and the account down.

It amazes me how much you try to find information despite beimg on hiatus for 8 years. There was.. ALOT of phases but the fandom has stayed relatively the same, the only phase i really miss is the threads and occasional "boi life update"

Pretty sure bbb is in fact ambidextrous! We never see him write with his left hand but he uses weapons with it (sword, bows, etc) and you need a lot of coordination to do that

Surprised how you didn't talk about the biggest worry of if boi has complete amnesia, there were a lot of speculation back then of what would happen if a situation where boi was alone and was split for a long time, we speculated that the elements would create its own concious with a mix of boi's beliefs and personality. But at that point would they even WANT to combine back?

At the time we were all just "oh haha just what-ifs tho, no need to worry" and then a teaser art work of bbb movie 3 was shown where boi was ALONE.

Boi is never alone, he always had his friends, even in movie 2 he had Gopal, this time hes alone. Not even ochobot is with him.

So there was a moment everyone went WILD it was beautiful, now obviously most people speculated that he was trying to find his dad or was searching something for Tok Aba

But there were a couple people who were like "hey guys what happens if boi split haha, who gonna get him back together haha, whos gonna remind him haha... oh god what if the elements seperate.." annnnnnddd that kinda got me thinking..

If boi got split for too long to the point of the elements becoming they're own 'person' obviously Boi's friends (and tapops) will eventually get them to combine back again

But which memories would boi get? All of them? If he split into 3 he'll have 3 memories but what if he split into 5? Which memories would dominate?

Can boi tell which are really his and which are the elements?

What if specific elements made new friends? Would boi feel guilty? Would boi care about these characters like how his elements cared for them? The elements are him after all

But where does the line end between him and the elements? Where is evern the line drawn that separates him with them?

How can he differentiate which action of his was himself and not pushed by a certain element personality?

How can boi live with himself with the fact he might be keeping 7 people from living?

Tbh, It's a wild short ride if I remembered it again. I didn't know there's the comic ver of Galaxy season 1 and movie 2; the battle card sets; action figures; magazines; heck, when the movie 2 come out in theater, I did not managed to watch it.

A funny story how I went back to this series. When I was on staycation at the hotel this year, that night, my sister stumbled upon one of my local tv(uuuuh I forgot whether it's mnc tv or rtv) that showing one of Galaxy season 1 episode. She asked me how Boboiboy's get bigger and why am I did not watch this series anymore. My reason is same as what I've mentioned about Duri and Solar here and that's the end of it.

But later when I'm back home, I somehow... Felt an urge to re-watch its series? I have to tell you first, I followed Boboiboy's account on Twitter like two years ago, I read some issues when Monsta released season 2 comic on webtoon but I stopped shortly after.

So when people hyped about the upcoming Sori, I myself didn't feel like to watch it since I constantly reminded myself to finish the galaxy season 1 first.

Therefore I hurriedly marathon-ed all series. A bit of back and forth between Galaxy series and original series to refresh my mind before went to movie 2 and Sori. And even then I stopped my read at issue 6 to watch Sori in blind. Counting all that I finished this series within.... Three... Weeks or more I guess?

For now I only own the Google play book ones, baby steps to buy all the physical comic books and the card packs too I guess. (Aaaaaaaaa I want the galaxy season 1 and movie 2 comic books SO BAD >:[ )

Windara and Gur'latan arc made me absolutely concerned with boi's mental health.

When talking about amnesia awareness. We had this line from both comic and Sori.

Yet the final episode of Sori piqued my interest.

Monsta surprisingly didn't dwell this deeper in comic book ver. They didn't show how much the effect could impact the elemental's well being.

edit: I really want to highlight how much Hali's big will to fight his amnesia illnesses. When others starts to forget their surroundings, Hali on the other hand decided to increase his pace. Desperately find a way to meet his other twins. Notice how Hali forgetting Gopal's name but not Yaya at first... Until Hali also forgotten her name.

Yet Yaya somehow understood Hali's frustration by accepting her temporary name. All that scene made my eyes wide when I compared it to comic ver.

(btw how about I call him "Oboi" like many people call him since it's cuter and easier to type? We good? moving on.)

The comic ver only portrayed a fainted Oboi, whereas Sori purposely added an extra few frames of him "suffering" and said more than just felt dizzy.

This scene is peculiar indeed. Aside from how pretty the recombined animation is, this scene made me realize: "Oh? Oooooooh? Okay, Monsta. Let's see where this is going."

Can I say I'm very, veerry much in gratitude to Monsta that they added those extra scenes more detailed and logical? People need to remind that Boboiboy is a freaking human. A FRAGILE LIVING BEING THAT IS STILL. A MIDDLE. SCHOOLER.

he's no superman or spiderman genes shit. He and Kokotiam gang are purely normal teenagers with no special genes inside them. It's all because of the special power tool that came from a robot. That's it.

I forgot where I got this fact, please please PLEASE tell me I'm wrong, but when I stumbled upon some random trivia on the internet, I was mouth agape with the line:

But really it's so cool! I was just wondering how you think your AU would react to the Ninja from the actual show? Like its a stupid thought but I always find crossovers, etc. interesting and whatnot

Also is Morro like apart of the Ninja team or more on the side and doing his own thing? Living his life(again). And for Seabound does Morro play a active role and have his powers acting up too since him and Nya are technically “not elemental masters” and are their own thing. I can see Morro feeling so guilty that Nya was the one that went and blaming himself, cause he isn't “needed for the team”(depending on how you're doing this of course and you seem to like angst as much as me). And where does he go when everyone seperates.

I'm not one to think TOO much about how canon characters would react to AU versions of themself, but I feel like Canon Jay would be like oh my First Master is this guy okay (spoiler alert he's not)

Since they both hide their traumas behind jokes, they'd probably see through each other pretty quick and have a mutual trauma dumping session lmao

i also decided that Skybound wouldn't get undone at the end of the season bc i Really Hate that plot point so Canon Jay (or at least how i draw him) and CM! Jay have different scars and I think it'd be funny for Canon Jay to be like "OH MY GOD THE SCARS FROM NADAKHAN ARE STILL ON YOUR FACE" and CM! Jay responding with "wELL WHY DOES YOURS LOOK LIKE A LIGHTNING BOLT SCRAPED DOWN THE SIDE OF YOUR FACE"

I think Morro would be like a temporary member of the team! He stays with them for a while to recuperate and get used to being alive again, but he does want to work out his own emotions and find a life and purpose outside of trying to be the green ninja. He has a room in the monastery and everything but he's only there like half the time. I DO think it'd be very interesting to have him play a role in Seabound, especially since wind and water would BOTH be affected by everything going down. I'm not sure exactly what that role would be since most of Seabound I was. Sobbing. And I haven't had the heart to rewatch it yet LMAO

Morro's biggest purpose in the AU so far is to help Jay, actually. The two become pretty close as Morro helps Jay go through the same issues HE went through in terms of coping with being an Alive Person again. This is partly self-indulgent bc I want Morro and Jay to be friends so bad so so so bad canon why did you take this from me they could've been pranksters together it wouLD'VE BEEN SO FUN-

also yes! my AU has much more angst than canon heehehehe I like the themes of hurt/comfort that angsty scenarios can provide, so I'm kinda fucking up Jay more than canon does heeheehehehe also it's kind of hard to make "trapped in a video game for half your life and not even realize you're a PERSON" not angsty

Skybound is 100% on me tho I looked at that season and went we did not see Jay suffer enough so it's on me to fix that and also fix the rest of the season too bc it kinda sucks i have a love-hate relationship with it

Do you pull for drivers or do you like teams as well?

I'm mostly driver motivated, I think I'd follow Fernando anywhere, and probably Oscar too. I like and support teams as well but mostly just because my guy is there! It's like, I love Aston, right? They support Fernando, they're willing to do so much for him, they love him, the vibe is really good. But if he decided to blow up Aston tomorrow, I'd be like "I'm right there with you!!"

+ HOWEVER! I am an RBR devotee. Like it's not even that much about the drivers, I like Max a lot, but I think I'll always keep my eye on RBR as long as I'm into F1. I just love the history of the team and their vibe. My fav team of all time will always be RBR 2009-2013, just so special to me 🥹 Not that I was actually around for it but, the way they evolved from a team that was mostly there to bring fun to the paddock to one of the most successful teams of all time, as well as being a fucking energy drink company in a sport full of car companies, is just so cool and inspiring to me. And I love the red bull golden boys so much(Seb and Max beloveds!!!) And I also have an addiction to red bull....But I got into them first so I have a special connection, even if I don't root for them all the time. Them and their aesthetic makes me happy :) they are F1 to me :)

How long have you been into F1

Probably over a year and half by now? I wish I could say I've been into it longer but unfortunately I am an American shjfkgkg

What got you into F1?

I've mentioned this several times before but. I read some oneshot in my prev fandom that was an F1 AU. And I was just like, enthralled. The first time I read it, I had to keep looking up stuff, and I kept going back to it. And then I went on the author's blog, and saw they talked about DTS and how to get into F1. So I tried watching DTS and it was alright I guess. But there happened to be an actual race that same weekend, so I tuned in, and was so into it!! Ah man there's nothing like that first race tbh. I knew only one driver, Max, and I rooted so hard for him and he won 🥹 it was just fun back then not knowing enough to be stressed and having pure focus on one guy. I'm happy where I'm at now, but that first race was cool :,)

Do you enjoy fanfic/rpf?

Yes of course >:) I think I probably looked at the ao3 page for F1 before even watching my first race actually, it's very habitual for me when joining a fandom. I draw rpf and write my own AU lore stuff, and meta and all that. And I think I check the ao3 page at least once a day 😭 its an essential part of my fandom experience

How do you view new fans?

Hmmmm sometimes I feel like an old person, even though I haven't even been here that long. I think F1 has such a learning curve and barrier to entry compared to most fandoms. Like you have to learn so much about racing and the drivers as well until you feel like you actually have a good grasp imo. So I guess it's weird for me to see new fans bcs im like, oh god was I like that back then 😭 I'm happy to see new fans ofc!! But it's also like, good luck on your learning journey 🫡

If you could take over as team principal for any team, who would it be and why?

I am not a good leader, I think we'd crash and burn if I took over a team 😭 they'd be like "Catie! What should we do???" and I'd have a nervous breakdown. Go back in time to be TP for McLaren and be like, be careful who you invite to your garage at the Miami gp LMFAO

Are your friends and family into F1 as well?

Yes! My brother was into F1 before me(what a bastard for not getting me into it earlier.) Which is hilarious though because I pay for the F1TV account that he leeches off of. Like, damn who's the real F1 fan 🥱 I got my dad into it last season, and it was a very gradual process. He's a huge Fernando fan though, which is really fun, and sometimes he's much more positive abt the sport than me hahaha. He likes Fernando bcs they're both old men, and getting to see Fernando succeed last year is what pulled him into the sport. Some of my irl friends know of F1 but I don't think they watch all the races.

Are you open to talking to other fans/friends?

Of course!!!!! I am always desperate to talk to new people, feel free to hit me up always :D I will talk about anything F1, Fernando, Seb, Vettonso, etc related whenever :) I remember I got an ask a while ago last yr that's like "are you open to being friends/mutuals w strangers." It's like, um, yeah??? Its a lot of fun to be on here, I love making connections

Summary-

The ride back was tense, awkward, and long.

Once they arrived back at the hotel, neither knew what to say, which was odd.

MJF was sitting on the hotel bed staring at his lap, Adam was watching him from the seperate hotel bed beside him.

He usually got annoyed at Maxwell's rants and wanted nothing more but for him to shut up, Now was different. He got used to the man's antics and now he wanted nothing more but for Max to talk to him again.

Plus Max kind of has no right to be mad, He was practically bullying Adam's friend, He had to do something. Once Adam was finished with his task on checking up on Roddy, He found Max and they both drove to their hotel in a taxi, That brings us to what is happening now.

Max moved his gaze onto Adam and stared at him for a couple seconds. Like he was analyzing him or something.

"Im sorry" He whispered

Adams eyebrows scrunched in confusion

"Man we already sorted this out its fine" It really wasn't fine but he didn't want to make more of fuss.

"But it's not Adam. You're aloud to have as many friends as you want, It- Its not something im use to and im sorry, I guess it just hurts hearing everybody say all of these horrible things about me to you when im right there." He confessed, His voice laced with sadness

He scratched the back of his neck and moved his gaze from adam back onto his lap, He still wasn't used to apolagizing and actually meaning it, It was odd.

Adam went to Max's bed and sat infront of him

"Oh Max, Look i get it, its alright okay, i promise, I keep telling them you're actually a good person when you're around the right people, they just dont understand that and im sorry" He whispers in a comforting tone.

Max nods, taking in his words

"Wanna play videos games" Adam asks with a sheepish smile trying to break slight awkwardness and end the current situation.

He wanted to bring the man's spirits back up, he discovered that he actually really enjoyed his tag partners random long rants, No matter how many times Max denies it, He can tell the man enjoys playing Adam's videos games with him.

Max perked up at this

"Sure, Of course buddy let's play" He replied smiling

They got everything set up and sat next to each other shoulder to shoulder at the edge of the bed.

About an hour later they decided to wrap up the game and take a shower before getting ready for bed. They have an early flight.

While waiting for Max to finish his shower, Adam just sat on the bed waiting, He started thinking about his life. About Britt, He wasn't even thought about her at all recently, Suddenly he feels really bad and takes his phone out of his pocket to send her text.

Adam: Hey love, how are you? I miss you

He sent his message and waited, and waited, until his train of thought got interrupted by Max walking out the bathroom in just a towel.

Adams eyes widened and he tried adverting his gaze, While he felt a blood rush up into his cheeks.

"U-um Max took you long enough" He tried to joke in a shakey voice

"Oh yeah sorry about that brochacho" He said back not realising Adam's state.

Adam grabbed a towel and pajamas and rushing his way into the bathroom.

He stared at his reflection thinking about what just happened, Why did he feel that way? He sees Max shirtless and in his small wrestling gear all of time. What was different about this? The way the water dripped down his torso.. the wa- Oh my god he has to stop.

He started panicking what was going on. He started getting dizzy and breathing heavy.

"Hey Adam you okay" He heard max ask worriedly after he finished getting dressed and heard Adams cries of distress

He couldn't form a single thought

"Im coming in"

He opened door and saw his tag team partner on the ground unable to breath properly

"Hey buddy breath with me okay" he attempted to calm him down

"I-i cant" Adam cried

"Yes you can, Here listen to my heart alright calm down, Just breath" He brought the panicking man onto his lap while trying to stay calm

Adam clutched max's shirt and listened to his heart beat. After what felt like forever he finally was able to breath properly again.

"T-thank you" He whispered removing himself from Max's lap

"You fuckin scared me man, you sure you're alright?" He asked quietly while looking at Adam with the most soft and concerned gaze.

"Yeah i just- i dont know" He said looking at the ground

"What happened? What brought this up?" He questioned

He felt himself blush again and quickly got up and left the bathroom

"Wait Adam where are you-?" He tried to ask while following him

"Please leave me alone im fine okay.." He whispered

Max look slightly hurt and confused

Adam just felt so overwhelmed

"Man why can't you tell-"

"BECAUSE I LIKE YOU, YOU IDIOT" He started sobbing and collapsed to the ground on his kness

Max froze for a second before he looked down and seen his bestfriend and knee'd down infront of him

"H-Hey breath darling please, you can't have another panic attack"

"I-Im sorry, i never realized it until today" He said miserably

Max smiled

"It's alright, I like you too, i just couldn't say anything because all i knew was that you were a straight man in love with Britt Baker" He blushed and avoided Adam's gaze

"Oh shit. Britt, holy fuck, what do i do?" He rushed out

"Just tell her the truth man, thats all you can do" He advised him

He still cares for her deeply and always will, but right now he thinks the person he truly loves is right infront of him.

"Okay" He sighs

Before he thinks about it any longer he pushes himself up and kisses Max.

Max of course kisses back and makes it so Adam straddles his lap.

Adam breaks the kiss

"You know i don't think you're clean enough" he smirks and whispers into Max's ear

"Oh yeah?, Well it would be a shame to waste more water huh" He whispers back

Adam felt himself get butterflies

"Shower with me?" he asks shyly

To answer his question Max lifts them both up off the ground, and hears Adam gasp in surprise, He reconnects their lips and carries them both back into the bathroom and turns the shower back on.
