I think after being friends with Gregory long enough Evan would at some point have an emotion-fueled argument with his family. like, he never ever would have blown up or defended himself or argued before. but before, he had a shit ton of emotions and even more paranoia and anxiety that kept it locked away tight. his fear of acting out and insecurity stopped him.

but after a little of that has melted off because of Gregory, I imagine he wouldn't have that wall of fear stopping himself from yelling and screaming in anger. he didnt have that anger before because he didnt like himself enough to be angry on his own behalf of how hes treated.

but after Gregory makes him realize hes actually worth a crap and is a person who deserves to be treated like one, he cant hold it in one day and he blows up at them. ironically, gregory makes him what William and michael want him to be. which is bolder

I think that in the worst way he gains more respect from them, but never in the way he wanted. when he wanted to please them, he never seemed to be able to. when he doesnt wsnt to please them, and he wants them to know how angry and hurt he is over their actions, he does exactly what they always wanted.

Realized I needed a Gnome shopkeeper NPC because it doesn't make sense for Gla-Thon or Fa-Glin to sell you items so I took a random name from the book and turned it into a banger OC with glasses and pronouns.

The name I stole for them is Za-Van btw. I imagine Gla-Thon is like the militia leader and right-hand-arm-man to the chief while Za-Van is the current treasurer/diplomat who inherited the position after their boss (Ri-Nan) died badly.

I have such a vivid idea for a shuji ikutsuki origin comic..... alas my skill does not match up with it slfjgsd 😭😭😭we shall see if I ever do anything about it. I want to give him a crumb of genuine connection/care for Sho and SEES, despite all of the horrible things he did to them in canon. It's such a fun flavour for a delusional villain. Canon Shuji should've been closer to the SEES gang I say, can you imagine how heartwrenching finding someone you thought you could rely on use you?????? GARHHHH
