i’m sorry for not being here and celebrating the reunion but i’m really disgusted and sad about my country’s same sex marriage voting results today.. six years of trying for nothing. more than 70% of czech people want equal marriage, yet there are majority of homophobic politicians who say no because it “goes against their beliefs”.

really considering moving somewhere where i can actually get married after being with someone for 7 years. all i have are the same duties and paying taxes like everyone else but being told i’m not worthy of a marriage and should be happy with partnership

"Think what you wanna think." He said in a belittling ton. As if i hadnt just read aloud from the paper that solidified my standpoint. As I he didnt just dismiss my valid standpoint, because he couldnt be less than absolutly right. As if he wasnt the cause of my self-isolation.

For him, there wasnt a possibility to discuss a topic. There was just his opinion and the other side, the absolutly wrong side. And I, like the fool I was, had fallen right into his trap. It was my own fault, really, how could i have entertained the thought, that he had changed? That he even wanted to change?

Christmas as a cultural icon is starting to get really dystopian in a climate sense, december has historically been a time of year in which there would be snow in a significant portion of europe and north america, and the fact that its not even icy this time of year and all the christmas songs and decorations reference a time of year that will likely never exist in the same way again in my life time is so strange.

VERY IMPORTANT a dam in the Netherlands, the weerdsluis lock, is directly on a migratory path for spawning fish. They have a worker stationed there to open the door for the fish, but they can take a while to open it. So to keep the fish from getting preyed on by birds they installed a doorbell. Only, the fish don't have hands to ring the doorbell. If you go to their website, they have a LIVE CAMERA AND A DOORBELL that YOU RING FOR THE FISH when they're waiting, and then the dam worker opens the door for them! I can't express how obsessed I am with this. look at this shit. oh my god.

Please check on the fish doorbell once in a while :)

the funniest meltdown ive ever had was in college when i got so overstimulated that i could Not speak, including over text. one of my friends was trying to talk me through it but i was solely using emojis because they were easier than trying to come up with words so he started using primarily emojis as well just to make things feel balanced. this was not the Most effective strategy... until. he tried to ask me "you okay?" but the way he chose to do that was by sending "👉🏼👌🏼❓" and i was so shocked by suddenly being asked if i was dtf that i was like WHAT???? WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY TO ME?????????? and thus was verbal again
