its like. hard to express to people why i love US-comics so much and why i enjoy reading them without mentioning how much fun it is to be in the online communities and be able to like. discuss the themes and meaning and complain about weak writing and bad characterisation to other people that’s like literally half the fun. i LOVE reading comics all the time but its so much more fun when you can talk about it with other people for like superhero us comics. bc theyre such an alive genre that’s basically always moving so we all read our little comics over the week and then we get together and bitch about it in a little online book club. like. it’s the best

I thought of some Warshield stuff. Steve and Rhodey adopted Kurt after they married. In Kurt's view his two dads are very affectionate.Once Kurt asked them about the Superhero Civil War. They stuttering and unable to answer.

O.O!! You are a genius!!!

That'll be the most awkward and tensed conversation. Especially the reasons. Steve and Rhodey being both who broke the rules and went beyond leadership. It can be something likes this (and please you and anyone else, add. This is so good!!):

Kurt peered up from his birthday cake, earlier his parents told him he can get anything he wants. Kurt already know his birth mothers, he already knows what they do. Of course he already knows about their marriage. Seven or odd years. They are gross and he wonders though. His cousin mentioned it once, a laugh leaving his body, "the incident" he called it.

Kurt stared confused and ultron clamped down, apologizing and suggesting to ask.

So, he is here wondering what he wants and that is what he wants. What was the incident? What was so easy for his cousin to laugh about, an inside joke but he doesn't know it.

"Dads," his dad and papa stopped their share of doing the dishes, kurt on his knees blinking his bright yellow eyes.

"Yes kurt?" Steve gave a smile leaned against the counter hands drying in the towel. Rhodey taking a bite out of a pizza.

Kurt watched them both, affectionate touches and loving eyes, "what is... the incident?"

His pop choked on his second bite of pizza and his dad eyes widening, a shame there forming. Tilting his head in confusion, kurt furrowed his brows taking in the reaction, "is it bad?"

A curse in Gaelic, his dad rubbed at his arm, fingers clasping "ah... that..."

His pop cleared his throat, eying his dad before he tried, "well," a mumble about tomes would be better at explaining this. His cousin father would explain it easier? Another mention of his other uncle being able to put into words from his dad, "kurt... it was... a fight."

Okay? They fought villains all the time, staring at them with a squint, he heard his dads fidget, hands grasping on each other, pop rubbing at the pulse of dad's wrist and thumb. Kurt puffed up before bamfing to them, "about what?"

Steve let go, picking up their child, shame welling up, sea green eyes darting to rhodey. Rhodey own awkward shame appearing, "we...... fuck..."

"A dollar for the swear jaw dad," kurt hummed out hugging around steve neck. He let his tail twist mindlessly around rhodey wrist, "but I want to know for my birthday."

Stalling, he knows they are but his pop kissed the crown of his head, "Alright owlette, ah, its... a mess of a story."

Rhodey mumbled softly against the shell of steve ear, "I'll get the chocolate milk."

Steve wondered how their son was going to react to this, "thanks honeybear." Hearing kurt make a disgusted noise follow by a laugh, help soothe the eventual story time bomb rhodey and himself will tell.

Christmas crackers, he wish he was tony and bucky when it comes to this.

Something like that, it can go so many ways! But it is the first thing that stuck with me. :)

Kurt was so glad that Jerika remembered him. He was surprised of the embrace but ultimately went with it. Kurt loved her energy. He really wished he had asked her name back then. Oh well. He could do it now. Wait she knew his name? Kurt smiled shyly.

"It's good to see zyou again, as vell." Kurt chuckles nervously.

"It's funny. You zeem to know my name but I don't think I caught your name back zen. May I inquire it of you now?" Kurt smiled shyly, showing his inner geek, as he backed out of the embrace.

“I’m so zorry.” Kurt flinched slightly awaiting Jerika to be mad at him for not knowing her name. Too many times have those close to Kurt turned on him over small things that he forgot or didn’t know.
