Sorry if this is too negative but I hate the fact that all of Bloodmoon's screentime got completely shafted to the Monty and Foxy show. I feel like I shouldn't need to watch a whole separate channel to learn what's going on with a villain that wasn't even made for that show. They have Stitchwraith and they had the Mimic before so it's not like they needed one. It's like the TSAMS refuses to let him be the main bad guy. When he first showed up they still had Eclipse to deal with. Then Eclipse died and Bloodmoon was barely seen. And then Ruin showed up and felt more like the boss between the two of them. Even now Ruin still is the big bad villain of the show by the time I'm writing this. Don't get me wrong I love Ruin both "cured" and when he dropped the act. I like what they're doing with Bloodmoon on the TMAFS. I just wish we got that on the show he's from.

Ok, so, maybe I'm just talking non-sense here and searching for something that is not even real. BUT, I love to discuss symbolism in designs, so sue me-

Here we have some recent pictures of Dawnlight and Nightlight's faces:

Notice how Dawn's face is much more "round" and "childlike", Nightlight on the other hand has a more "sharp" and "angular" face. I think it really helps to portray their supposed roles: Dawn is the fool, the joke. Someone who's childish and something that only really young kids would probably find interesting. Nightlight is the Guardian Angel, the sacred sheep, someone who's beautiful and high. A lot of paintings depicting Angels showed them with beautiful forms, even in the Bible they're described as having an appearance that no one could describe in many details; a very perfect and serene face such as Nightlight's would be pretty hatd to describe.

Sorry if I babbled too much, I guess I got too carried away haha-

What is this au about? I'm confused

Grab some coffee hon, because here we go!

I have two different AU;

The Reversal AU- this takes place where Moondrop and Sundrop's personality switches. And they are referred as Nightlight and Dawnlight. aside from the daycare attendant, everyone remains the same.

Along the way I decided to change their names and outfit to differentiate them from the OG.

Now, the second AU it the BLAREROCK AU; This AU basically branched off from the Reversal AU. Except all the main casts have been altered. centers around Chica as the main protector and a little girl name Gabriel (Gabby), who serves as Gregory's counterpart.

Blarerocks are more 80's goth rock band style. And similar to the Reversal AU, everyone's roles are in a way, reversed.

BlareRock Freddy is charismatic and charming, but he has manipulative and violent tendencies. He does well hiding his true nature from Nightlight. Whom he guards like a dragon.

BlareRock Monty used to be a tubby and friendly Montgomery the Golfer. Monty is huge dork so he's awkward at the moment mainly because he isn't used to his new body. Monty suffers from memory loss and he can't help but think he has forgotten something or someone precious to him...

BlareRock Roxy is unhinged and melodramatic. Her confidence is slowly dwindling and she feels lost. Because a voice which that used to cheer her on in her mind is gone.

YES YESSS I absolutely love the fact that Nightlight is genderfluid!! Makes me love the character even more! >u<

Their choice of becoming genderfluid was because Nightlight's love of interacting with children. They want the child to play and engage with them freely and they didn't want a gender role to restrict the boundaries for said child.

There was one case when a little boy wasn't allowed to play with Nightlight because the child mother said "that animatronic is for GIRLS, go play with Freddy or Monty". The child got very upset because Nightlight's was his favorite and his mother refused him to play with the daycare attendant. The boy went home crying, his mother still refusing the child to interact with Nightlight until the very end.

That left lasting impact on Nightlight and they decided that his role to care for children will not be restricted by the bases of gender role.

Your Blarerock AU is quite interesting! I really enjoy the concept of Nightlight being portrayed as an Angel of sorts… Often, Angels are seen as a sign of deliverance, and with Nightlight’s concept being to deliver sleep to young ones, it’s fitting and I adore the concept!

I do have a question though! Regarding Dawnlight, why did they decide to choose a prince-type motif for the character?

The Prince motif was actually from “The Prince and the Pauper”. The designers got the idea from the whole “two personalities” and two side of the same coin idea. Dawn is supposed to be a prince but he acts very silly, like the pauper.

He has a crown but it also has flower sticking out of it. He has large land, but there’s an old barn standing at the corner. His attire is fancy and beautiful but his posture is improper and ridiculous. So it’s hard tell if Dawn is the prince or the pauper.

Dawn HATES the background story that was given to him. It’s one of the reason why he changed his crown and took Nightlight’s wings. Dawn wants to distort himself from his original story

His original title was “Dawnlight the Foolish Prince”.

Perhaps he is still foolish….

Reversal AU- where role of Sunny and Moon is reversed. While everything else is the same.

BlareRock AU- All the OG casts are replaced by the Blarerocks. This AU will star CHICA as the main protector and Gabriel (Gabby) as our child heroine. In this version of the “game” player has a choice to destroy the corrupted animatronics or restore (befriend) them.

Reversal AU- Dawnlight and Nightlight!

Dawnlight- He is loud, flamboyant and very self centered, for he is the sun and everything else revolves around him. At least that’s what Dawnlight tells himself. Dawn is designed as a “prince” and treats everyone (including the children) as his royal subjects. Although he likes to be in power, he says that there is already a king….and his reign is in deep below the ground.

Nightlight-Sweet and quite, Nightlight’s design is a fusion between a jester, a nun and guardian angel. He used to have wings! Until it was stolen from him….

My friend Sakura (https://twitter.com/sakura1125td) named the reversal Moon for me! She also helped me brain storm Nightlight’s outfit so kudos for her!
