Explanation of Dean's characterization and relationship dynamics under the cut:

Destiel:

Cas pulled Dean out of hell and watches over Dean so he is the protector and Dean is the protected. He is a literal angel so he is in a position of relative power. However, he rebelled for Dean so Dean unwittingly holds more power over Cas' heart. Dean hates himself and sees himself as a monster, but Cas thinks that he is the most beautiful, pure, loving human in the world.

Wincest:

Dean is the big brother who always took care of his baby brother, so Dean is the protrctor and Sam is the protected. Their upbringing and age difference gave them a dynamic which places Dean in a position of relative power. But Dean would do anything for Sam and give him anything he wants. Between Sam and Dean, I think Sam is the more likely one to see himself as innately wrong and unclean. But Dean still thinks he's perfect. Nothing will ever dilute or corrupt Dean's love for Sam.

Disabled neutralship culture is seeing both sides constantly be ableist and use disabled people as tokens and as gotchas.

"What about the people who can't separate fiction from reality?" Let them speak for themselves or boost their voices, don't just use a hypothetical disabled person you never have interacted with to feel morally superior.

"What about disordered paraphiles?" Again, let disabled people speak for themselves.You don't actually know about that experience if you're using us as a hypothetical scarecrow.

The list goes on and on. It's disgusting that the people who are tokenized have a hard time actually talking about our experiences when both sides push misinformation on experiences and take over our tags and spaces for clicks and engagement. Or we are assumed to be inherently pro/anti due to being disabled, which is really ableist and demeaning.

I get shit for telling both sides to stop tokenizing people like me and using ableism for their personal comfort.

Not to mention misuse of "purity culture" when it is a specific kind of religious abuse and not just "ew sex/kink/fetish/paraphilias gross." I'm a survivor of it and both sides misuse and water down the term for the type of long term sexual abuse and grooming that's been common since the 80s/90s and even longer in some religions in some aspects. It's not a fandom term, especially with how purity rings (Rings to symbolize not having sex before marriage or showing your purity belongs to your father before being handed to your husband, both beliefs go hand-in-hand) were trendy in the early 2000s.

While I identify as neutral I find myself continually frustrated at proshippers often poor media literacy and tendency to overstate harm.

A illuminating example of proshippers overstating harm is when a Reddit post was going around about a woman’s daughter being groomed by an anti and attacking her classmates because of it. The account is deleted. The story, imo, is probably false. What stands out is why this lady’s daughter supposedly freaked out. It was over a 3 year age difference.

When bigots create stories about minorities, a thing they often draw attention to is the ridiculousness of their enemy, to show their allies and moderates who is truly the reasonable one. A black person calls a white person racist for getting a tan. The crazy sjws think plant ownership is slavery! Fat person thinks weight loss is fatphobic.

And crazy anti is groomed and tries to hound fellow classmates into suicide over a three year age gap.

I am not calling proshippers bigots, I don’t think bigotry is apart of proship belief. What I’m saying is it’s the same overstatement of harm and willingness to overlook red flags to further a narrative.

Sometimes I don’t know where I fit in the whole anti vs pro debacle. On one side, I think people are well within their rights to complain about things they consider problematic especially if they’re affected and i hate the whole “sToP WeApOnIzInG YoUr tRaUmA” rhetoric, tends only ship relatively “healthy” ships, believes fiction can have an affect on reality and believe some proshippers have a bit of a victim complex. But at the same time, I have enough problematic interests (fujoshi, hetalia, Killing Stalking, euphoria (the visual novel, not the HBO show) and many others) that would give most antis the incentive to bash in my skull or as the cool kids put it eat my spine and stomp me out with their hooves (how they develop hooves is beyond me) Not to mention I used to write some fucked up shit back in the back.

Maybe I’m in the be critical in what your watch and try your best to be respectable to the groups they affect or Critique the media not the people (unless they do something fucked up)

So, basically, this antishipper created a meme on TikTok stating that they were planning to harass and make death threats to proshippers. I replied that harassment and death threats are unlawful, and they continued to be total jerk, so I told them to act this way towards me, and then they asked for my discord, and they threatened to say horrible things to me. I was going to explain why it's incorrect, but I decided to give the bee movie script instead because they were going to utter stupid nonsense like that. I assumed they were kid but they weren't since they stated I was four years younger than them.

Later on, they convinced a friend to add me to a group so they could both harass me. I asked why they had their buddy do that, and they urged me to kill myself. They also claimed they were going to show me how to tie a knot so I could kill myself.

I asked why they were saying horrible things to me and bothering me, and they told me I supported pedos, which I don't.

I'm at school and can't submit any more images because Discord doesn't work here; nevertheless, I will release the remaining screenshots.
