↘ Minato was a boy full of energy and smile during his school days. And he loved to watch you from the last school desk when you listened carefully to the words of the teachers and experienced ninjas. He was truly smitten with you, and the opportunity to spend time together was a valuable experience for him.

↘ So he slowly getting to know you better, always offering his help when you had a problem with your homework or training. Halfway through the school year, he even switched places with the person sitting next to you so he could be closer to your person. You and your husband were sitting on the terrace of your small house, watching Naruto and Hinata approach a white building with a dark roof. There was a book in your hand and a cup of steaming green tea on the table next to you. Minato at that time was sitting directly in front of you; his eyes were closed. Ten minutes ago, he was talking to you about plans for the coming months, and after a while he simply fell asleep, tired of the constant duties of the Hokage.

You frowned as you watched the young couple. Your son had a huge, almost painful smile on his face, while your daughter-in-law had flushed cheeks. She and Naruto had a really peaceful and supportive marriage, though from time to time they would ask you for advice on a successful relationship.

But something was bothering you, and it was a strange feeling in your stomach. Your intuition was never wrong; you just felt something was... That something has changed. So you quickly woke up your husband, although you really didn’t want to, and then whispered a simple sentence in his direction.

“Minato, I think I’m going to be a grandmother.” You whispered, hiding your excitement. Your husband yawned.

“How…” He bit his lip. “Oh.”

After a short while, a young adult couple entered your house; for the first time you saw your son dressed that well. Before you could offer something to drink and eat, your son ran to his father and lifted him high.

“I will be a grandfather and you will be parents!” He screamed and you laughed out loud. “I mean, I’ll be dad and you’ll be grandmothers!”

“Naruto-kun...” Hinata started, almost fainting in embarrassment.

“I mean, mom. You will be grandma and you, dad, will be grandpa!” He said it right this time, and you nodded, still amused. Your sense of intuition, however, was not mistaken. You immediately hugged your beloved daughter and then your son, congratulating them as sincerely as you could.

One glistening tear welled up in your eye because these two were so much like you and your husband; just as in love and as happy as you and your beloved. You were so happy for them and for your own happiness. You started crying into Minato’s arms and he stroked your hair. Minute later, he offered tea to your lovely guests.

Ever since you were in school you used to steal glances at him because you always have been intrigued by his fighting skills and how good he is at it. 

And as you grew up, so did your powers. So you were advised to wear a blindfold as most of your chakra centers were near your eye it took a lot of strain on them.

You both were assigned to a mission that didn't go as you thought it would. You two ended up almost out of chakra during a fight and had to fall back. Your assigned teacher was out of sight as well so you both decided to seek shelter in one of the caves you could find.

It was a little bit smaller than what you'd like, but this is the best you got. As you two were resting, finally the overuse of chakra got to you and you started losing sight. You have been warned about it and since it never happened before you didn't know what to do and started freaking out.

He got a bit scared himself. He was trying his best to not lose his composure but he was scared and tried his best to not show it in his voice.

You ended up being unconscious. Your sensei finally caught up to both of you and you were sent straight to the hospital as soon as you all reach the village.

That is where it all started and he was scared to come anywhere near you because he thought that he absorbed your chakra or something. As you grew up you tried to talk to him but he'd always avoid you so you thought that he was creeped out about what happened and wanted nothing to do with you.

Which was kind of sad for you because you've always admired him. (Well, your teenage brain had some other thoughts but who are we to judge).

As you two grew older he became more and more easygoing but always kept his distance.

Once naruto came back from training with Jaria, everyone decided to hang out and were sparing you two were the only ones left so it was you both that had to spar during the fight you knew he was not giving his all so you tried to push him as much as possible to the point that he confessed that he was scared of hurting you again.

But the thing is this is not the only thing that he confessed he also said, "and I don't want to hurt you, especially you."

I've been teaching myself how to draw anime style and as bad as this looks, it's actually significant progress! Anyway it inspired me to write a short fic! Hope everyone enjoys it!

They sensed his immense chakra from miles away. Chakra, once as bright as the sun, now a suffocating miasma of rage and hatred. He was surrounded in moments by an army of jonin and chunin; but it was simply because he had made no evasive maneuvers.

Kakashi stepped to the front to face his former student, but his eyes could not find that boy that had once been the hope of the shinobi world.

Next to him, Sakura stepped forward and gasped "N..Naruto .. is that really you?"

After the fourth shinobi war, Naruto had launched a campaign to clear the Uchiha name. With the vigorous positivity he was known so well for, he had worked relentlessly to have all charges against Sasuke dropped and have him celebrated as a war hero, the one who fought beside him and saved the world from the Otsutsuki. To have Itachi honoured as a true martyr and have his story officially added to shinobi history books. All the while, Sasuke was being held at the Konoha prison. Then, while Naruto was away on one such diplomatic conference, Sasuke was assassinated in his cell. The older kage, tribe elders and the lords of the land had decided that peace was achieved at too dear a price and the Uchiha altogether were detrimental to that.

The shinobi world was utilitarian. The shinobi world could never be saved from hatred. The shinobi world must come to an end.

Naruto Uzumaki left Konoha and denounced the shinobi world, gathered the abundant rogue ninja scattered around after the war and reformed the Akatsuki. He had failed in his promise to Nagato, so now he would continue in his sibling-student's footsteps.

Kakashi looked at Naruto's appearance, and with every bit of information he took in, the familiar feeling of regret rang through his body. The number one hyper-active ninja was replaced by a man who looked like a taller, more gaunt version of Minato. His eyes boasted of being the inheritor of Jiraya's Toad Sage Jutsu as well as the Jinchuriki host of the Kyuubi. And on his chest was the Uchiha insignia. The Naruto before him was a product of the shinobi world in every way.

"Long time no see, Kakashi sensei.."

As I am slowly approaching a 2 year anniversary since I began writing my fanfic(s) with Kakashi (very slowly - I began some time around August 2021), I can’t help but recall how I got into all this. Initially I remember that after watching several random episodes of Naruto-1 and Shippuuden I got interested in Kakashi’s character and being impatient (or, let’s be honest, not too eager to watch the whole anime since I still don’t consider it too interesting 🙈) I focused on his story, reading various forums, watching videos (so I immediately collected all the spoilers 😅), and, finally, watched/read about his past.

I was so upset by what had happened to him. And my biggest trauma was that he remained single. This kind, humble, honorable man remained single!.. 🤯

So yeah, I think the whole thing began when I got upset and decided to change that, at least in my imagination.

I did read some fanfics, but the ones I came across did not really meet my vibe. Later on, as I got into the community, I realized that I was just unlucky. But, on the other hand, if I had found all the amazing Kakashi x OC fanfics and artworks from the beginning, I would never have had the courage to start my own 🤭

I was way too self-conscious when it came to my creations, so seeing something I was clearly unable to surpass would have been a firm argument to not begin at all. Later on I managed to change my attitude and stop comparing myself to others. Well, I still sometimes feel worthless, but… I have learned to ignore that and just struggle on and do my thing 🤭

So anyways, as I said, initially I began all this because it broke my heart seeing Kakashi alone with all this sad past and trauma.

In part 2 of my first fanfic (which I don’t know when I will ever get to publish 🙈)

several chapters are devoted to Kakashi opening up about his past to Arina (as he himself states - first and only time). And it turns out not an easy thing to do - she sees him completely shattered.

So yeah you could say this is an illustration for that moment. Although I’d say in the chapter he… probably looks a bit worse 🙈 so yeah, this might be a glamoured version 😅
