Why is it so important how Black people look?

As a child I hated suits, primarily because they were associated to attending Sunday school. My goddess who could ever come up with such a thing as school on the weekend? #satist Anyway now I love them especially when I can mix my own personal style into something sometimes known as a monkey suit, let's not stop and explore how problematic that could be in reference to a Black person.

Well back in 2013 I had three made for me by a business called Born to Tailor, I can't remember what the sale was but I think it was like seventeen hundred dollars for the three custom-tailored suits which was extremely well-priced for a suit made for your body in which you have picked all the fabrics. I am not going to mention the event I had these suits made for because albeit the ten-year anniversary of that event is this year, I am not reflecting on past traumas anymore.

Since I spent '22 loosing all the weight collected from caring for my father's mother for over two years, and the sedentary life of the pandemic. Ninety pounds, now the key is to maintain the weight loss. With this loss I could now fit my ten year old suits and I was feeling so good about it all that I revisited the same company to have more suits made. Cut to I think three months later and I am having 2 three-piece suits, 2 custom tailored shirts and 1 winter coat made. I went a little over the top with my inheritance monies.

There is something you should know about me, I am not a fan of conflict, but I have never been one to back away from it. If you're feeling froggy than leap! #MyMotto But Born To Tailor accidentally over-charged me by over 2k for the items I was having made, and I expressed to the owner twice about the balance and how I calculated it. This was over a month ago and at least three promises that the matter would be resolved. I have decided that I will not mention things a third time, but when I pick up my final made products I will ask for the balance I am owed in cash, and will wait in his offices for my money.

I hate when a relationship goes sour. I explained to him in my second notification that this matter could potentially spoil our relationship, meaning I would probably not be coming back to him for more custom-tailored clothing. Its sad, because he doesn't excellent work, but it seems he has too much on his plate to give the attention to his clients that he once did. You would think my spending nearly 10k with him would have made a difference but clearly it didn't. These kinds of things make me very sad albeit they are an all to common part of being an adult.
