Slik hårstråene dine var samlet i en rød strikk av fløyel, ønsket hun å bli holdt sammen. Lot ikke følelser få flomme fritt fra glaset, eller munnen, forkledd i leppestift. Tildekt som månen bak en sky, eller fisken under vannets flate, lot hun noe bakenfor vake, gjennom natten, gjennom søvnen.

Så stod du der i drømmen, holdt ordene frem som fingrene der noe ble bygget i spaghetti, fortsatt følelser som marshmallows, myke men faste, ikke flytende og klissete av varme.
