I love how like, ambiguous so many Studio Ghibli 'couples' are. They're primarily male/female duos, and it's clear how much they love and care for each other, but more often than not it's never explicitly stated to be romantic. And their bonds aren't treated any less for it.

Idk it's just something I've always held close to my heart as someone who grew up not feeling romantic attraction the way most do, it made the characters feel more relatable and human to me, and while I still didnt fully understand my identity (didn't know being aro was a thing), it helped me better reconcile with it. And I feel that's incredibly important.

(And not just from an aro perspective. portrayal of m/f friendships is rare and something we desperately need more of)

Yes, they love each other deeply, but they don't need to kiss or be a couple for that love to be agknowledged and treated with importance. It's not any less than it would be if they weren't platonic. Hell, it doesn't even need to strictly be platonic or romantic. It could just be somewhere in between and that's okay.

The real beginners experience is getting to the Archive area too quick, making friends with the people who saved your ass from sky shrimp, and then finding out they're heading to somewhere called eden and were just collecting lights last minute.

Cut to ubering tiny day 3 me to Eden cause I shitposted about speedrunning, making it to the end with a team of 5, and then getting absolutely fucking obliterated. I felt so bad I had no idea we were supposed to die. The veterans were so cool abt it tho they got a solid giggle. Extremely fun experience 11/10 would recommend

As Loch entered the dining room, Mist caught sight of River and Chad resting at a table with her parents. Though the camera swiftly passed over the scene, she was sure she also briefly glimpsed Havoc speaking with Asher in the corner. “I’m sure you’ve seen enough of the grooms by now, anyway, and you can speak to Mum and Dad on someone else’s time. So, who else is there? Ah, yes, Hawk and Char, say hello to Mist!” The pair smiled and waved happily, though Loch quickly moved on before they could say anything. “That’s totally-normal-champagne glass number three, for anyone keeping count at home, by the way,” Loch stage whispered into the phone, and Mist chuckled. Suddenly, one small, silver-haired toddler appeared from under a tablecloth, whilst Heaven ran squealing away from her parents and right into Loch's path, almost tripping him over. He cussed quietly under his breath, though chuckled immediately after. “So anyway, did you know they’ve been dating for, like, two years? Because Maurice and I fucking did not. Oop, better not say that name here. ANYWAY. Bit too late for fake champers here, eh, Sky? How are the ankles?” “Still swollen as fuck, thank you very much.” The camera moved up from a pair of trainers to show Sky flashing him a snarky grin and a middle finger. “Hey, now, no swearing; our baby sis is on the line.” The feed switched to the front camera, and Loch came into frame, leaning in to wrap an arm around Sky's shoulder, grinning into the camera. “She already learnt all the best curses from me years ago. Hey Missy! You know you can hang up on him the second he gets too much, right?” “He’s actually marginally less annoying like this.” “Tell me about it. Takes a minimum of two drinks to turn Princess Uptight into someone bearable.” “Okay, y’know what, you can chat shit on me in your own time. Say byyyye balloon feet.” Another middle finger and Sky vanished off the screen.

sorry i was thinking of that post the entire time i was working on this. anyways

in episode 2 of 'sdmsims commits cc crimes', i wanted pheromosa to be able to wear clothes instead of be a static costume... so i made a preset! however, what clothes look less horrifying really depends on each piece of clothing, because the the body distortion is so heavy.

or you could just use a blank top/bottom/fullbody! up to you

BGC, head converted from sunmoon and edited, body scuplted by me. head is a skin detail, body preset is a body preset (wow)

head has moving eyes, eyelid, and mouth! it also comes with 2 skins attached, normal and shiny. there's also 2 head variants, one is the normal length and one is shorter

only tested on female sims but allegedly could work on male sims

disabled for random, custom thumbs (seen above!)

as always, you're free to edit the mesh or textures, but please do not paywall/monetize these!
