Random Thought:

So the body Solar had was 'older than copper' according to Solar and he probably wasn't able to fix it up very much before his Moon got impatient and made him change bodies.

Two imagines based off this

1) When Solar was working in the theater, he probably tended to lock up a lot, like most older machines do, since he's mostly in the same position for long times behind the counter. So he'd probably just be in the theater doom-scrolling tiktok and just lock up randomly because he hasn't moved besides one of his hands for hours and one of his family members has to come help him move again.

2) Solar had to take care of his body as if he were a decrepit old William Afton. Oiling his joints every four hours so he didn't lock up. Spray rust treatment into his endo so he didn't rust from the inside out. Probably have to repair bits of casing that tended to severely dent and crack on what would be extremely minor injuries on other animatronics. Have to basically give himself a full oil change since he presumably had an older model engine that hadn't been taken care of for years. Constantly touch up chipping paint. Basically constantly having to treat himself like a really old car that he's constantly pushing past its limits.

It's gross how sauceribs try to argue and defend the reason on why their beloved pairing is 'okay' instead of just admitting it's problematic and just. Crawl back to the sewers with the rest of the rats.

I myself am guilty of shipping problematic pairings. But I only talk about it with other adult people who also recognize the issue, in closed spaces or tagged properly and with many many warnings. And, if I were to be called out I would accept that, indeed it IS problematic, I recognize it.

None with someone younger than 17 (thus the problematic aspect lol) but just. Yeah.

And that’s truly what sets incidents like this apart. Relationships both real and fictional are such complicated things and so are each individual view on them. I don’t think there’s even one of us that can clam we’ve shipped something that’s completely free of being problematic, depending on who you ask, everything is just so subjective and the majority of people, even if they choose to voice their dislike of something, will just move on. We enjoy what we enjoy and we avoid what we don’t. It’s how people are.

So then, how curious is it that the people who ship severely problematic stuff (and we’re talking like…not just does it violate actual fucking laws but it goes against basic human instinct of what’s right i.e: preying on children, shipping family members) are the ones who are not only the most vocal, the most aggressive when confronted, but also the most desperate to try and justify and normalise what they support?

Despite the fact they don’t seem to actually like normal dynamics with their ship. They don’t do as much fluffy cute stuff, every day slice of life, angsty stories, cool AUs or all sorts of scenarios for their ship nearly as much as they create sexual content for it. SessRin is a prime example. I haven’t seen even one shipper who doesn’t overtly sexualise the couple despite them having absolutely no intimacy in their few canon intersections.

It’s almost like their ship is really just a fetish and a troubling one, but instead of finding ways to explore and process why it is that this is what they’re drawn to and what to do about it, they choose to take it out on everyone else. That’s the bare bones of the situation, according to me.

Ok, so today my sister's male friend came over n my mother was in work n she needed talk to her about smt ok. So she tried to call her, but my sister didn't pick up so my mother start calling to me with words "Could you go and tell her to call me, but secretly, ok I don't want her to call me, when her friend could hear it". So I went where my sister was, with excuse that I need her help with sm essay. In that moment when I came she was in middle of staring competition with her friend n she said to just hand her that essay. So I open random notes in phone and write into them "THERE YOU HAVE THAT ESSAY. NOW CALL MOM LIKE RIGHT NOW , GO N CALL HER, YOU IDIOT" then I handed her phone. After moment she looked at me with puzzle exspression n then seriously asked me "You came out with that title or it was given to you as topic". In that great moment my brain stop, like I'm not kidding. I looked at her with look what was screaming "Are you seriousI" n when she was still looking at me with that puzzle expression. I turn on my heels n walked away, mumbling words about how big idiot she is.
