My health has lead me to needing to call out from work again. I feel so guilty.

This time its my fibromyaglia and rheumatoid arthritis that's causing weakness and pain throughout my whole body. Severe swelling and agony in my joints.

My brain is so entirely fogged I can't even verbally articulate a sentence properly. I don't know why, please let me know if you're also chronically ill, especially if you deal with a lot of high inflammation levels. And if you also struggle to articulate speech as your inflammation levels rise. Because for me, it seems to be my first signal something isn't right.

So today is an under the heated blanket, in bed with my kitty kind of day.

The fatigue is so bad I anticipate sleeping a great deal. Other than sleep my intentions are to spend time in my social media communities today. It's always comforting to me.

I woke this morning around 6 to a crying baby who wouldn't go back to sleep. I suspect she just wanted to hang with her mommy, but it was too early for that. If she was older, I'd let her sleep in the bed with me and her sister, but right now, she's too small. Anyway, she eventually woke her sister with her crying, so that meant there was no going back to sleep. I was definitely a little more than grumpy, especially because after her sister woke up, she went to sleep lol so I got up and went to the kitchen to realize it was not clean. There was a huge mess from the enchiladas we made last night. So I had a mini breakdown and cried a little. Then I decided I wouldn't let this bad mood win. After this, I almost got popped by oil, the almond milk for my coffee boiled over, I got vomit on my shirt, and I got pee all over my pants. I held to my goal, I was not going to let the bad mood win. So, I decided to focus on the things that were good that happened this morning. The coffee turned out delicious, I had watermelon juice in the fridge, I found a skort I forgot I had, I love my babies and looking at them make me happy, I can learn from most of these things that happened today, etc.

My lesson this morning: Bad shit happens sometimes, but so does good shit. It's up to me which thing I want to let influence me for the day.

I have the world's most spoiled cat. This is not up for debate 😅. She has three bowls, one is filled with her favorite kibble, one fresh water I changed out this morning, and the third was where I had her freshly shredded chicken with broth that I warmed up and made for her breakfast 😋 😁.

Two hours or so after eating her breakfast, she's pacing everywhere, getting confused, crying and starring at her bowls.

My cat is 19, she's blind, she does get a bit confused sometimes. She needs a little guidance. But even I couldn't figure out what she wanted.

It took me 45 minutes of going back and forth with her screaming bloody murder at the top of her lungs at 3AM to figure out that her bowl of chicken was out of broth. What she wanted was more warmed chicken broth.

She had water, kibble, moist chicken. Yet she wanted more broth so she was going to try and burst my ear drums. 😅

The second I made it and put it on her tray, she was a happy 😊 kitty. She drank ALL of it up and then went to hide in her favorite cubby in the closet to curl up and sleep now that she has a full warm belly of broth 🤣.
