okok so adhd is called 'unfocusedness' in atol. but does autism also have a name in your world, or is it thought of as something else entirely or? bc now im a little curious on how people's idea of autism translated over to your shattered!verse ^_^

It is seen as something entirely different, though there are two main courses of thoughts about it.

In the most advanced/less prejudiced parts of the continent autistic children are called 'Starry Children' due to the belief that they have a connection to the sky (not the Sky Gods but the sky itself) and that is why they sometimes do not act as other children do. Or why they see things so differently.

TW for the next section: Views based on antiquated superstitions on autism.

In less advanced/more prejudiced parts of the Continent, they are called 'Void Children' or 'Voidlings' and the belief there is that the 'actual' child of the couple has been kidnapped but the Guardian of the Void and that the Guardian gave them a copy of their child that isn't actually theirs.

(of course they are wrong but superstitions are a bitch in some places)

I Have Found A Solution!

So, obviously classic wizard robes aren’t wheelchair friendly. (Alright, admittedly this isn’t common knowledge and also this definitely isn’t a problem for most but listen, this is a problem for me and I’m pleased to present a solution for it nonetheless.)

The issue is in the sleeves and the length of the robes. The traditional trumpet style allows them to get snagged, dirty, and caught in the wheels.

This is distinctly not an issue with other mobility aids such as canes and crutches, these wizards are fine to carry on with their trumpet sleeves simply rolled up if needed.

Now, one solution might simply to shorten the sleeves and hem to be out of the way, but that looks rather silly so I won’t do that. Instead I propose the more elegant design of a hanging sleeve to maintain that flowy magical feel while allowing for better range of motion.

Honestly I just love the look of hanging sleeves in general and think more people should appreciate them, wheelchair user or not.

Happy WBW! What species of your world I'd wrongfully demonized? Rightfully demonized? Reclaimed by a bunch of mentally ill kids as their favorite because they relate to the way its treated?

Hecathians make up my main characters list, and they have levels of discrimination based on types of abilities. Examples are telepaths, shape-shifters, and those with telekinesis- this is from a lack of trust due to these abilities having an easier time deceiving others and/or having some level of control over another person. This type of demonization has been mostly reclaimed by the younger generations, who are nearly all mentally ill from their traumatic experiences.

For the most part, they don't get along with other species. While many live among humans in my WIP Legacy of the Fallen, they see humans as hyper-aggressive and dangerous if their presence were to be uncovered. They see the scale and frequency of destruction, death, and war as markers of humans being uncivilized- particularly due to the ease of it with guns and bombs. Those victories have no honor, especially against one's own kind. This one is probably justified...

With other species, they've had a history of war. They literally call them daemons or monsters. They vary in appearance as they originate from other worlds, and this makes them easy targets to demonize. They did carry out a genocide and were responsible for the destruction of Hecathian society, though this was after decades to centuries of war and dehumanization. I'll leave it up to you whether their demonization was a warning for what was to come or if it was a self-fulfilling prophecy. It's probably a mixture of both.

Question for the fics of AToL and tHAW! What is the money currency the population used between the Manberg and Kingdom of Sovereign in AToL and Snowchester and Las Nevadas on tHAW? It been bugging my mind since i have finish reading latest chapters of your fanfictions.

All the countries present in the story use the same currency system, that is the one from the Continent. Though there are some small diffenrences in the specific values of each piece. Here is the list:

Copec(pl:Copecs)

Klendro(pl: Klendri)

Knavc (pl: Knavcs)

Offa (pl: Offas) Equivalences:

1 Copec = 20 Klendri

1 Klendro = 12 Knavcs

1 Knavc = 4 Offas Copecs are made of zeprine (gold-red iron from the Nether alloy), Klendri are made of gold, Knavcs are made of silver and Offas are made of copper Las Nevadas equivalences are a four units bigger than the avarage which means that in Las Nevadas the equivalence is:

1 Copec = 24 Klendri

1 Klendro = 16 Knavcs

1 Knavc = 8 Offas While L'Manberg's were smaller since the country was poorer and didn't posses the same amount of stamped coins.
