It sucks trying to date as a human on a planet where humans are a minority, and all of the dominant races are ones who've had limited contact with humans. Most alien cultures either think of humans as disunitied conquerors and raiders who subjugate other races, or as a diaspora who live on other species' planets and who are useally involved in the criminal underworld. So everyone who wants to date you has all these weird fetishes, about how they're getting to fuck this dangerous amoral space monster, and you're just like, a normal person. And like, people from the more common races where you live don't ever understand that.
Both people who want to be domed by you and people who want to dom you specifically focus on the fact that you're from an exotic race that most people think of as violent. Everyone either focuses on how weird and unique you are, or how dangerous you are. And like, even when you want to do something kinky you don't really want to focus on the fact that you're human. And there's really nobody who has any fantasies about you that are wholesome or soft, even when they don't mention that you're human they never think about being sweet or kind to you. It is what it is.

I've been struggling...so...hard...to maintain motivation with the biopunk WIP, which is approaching its 6th anniversary of Being In My Brain. I'm forever cycling back to "okay but what if your worldbuilding is boring and no one cares about the story you have to tell in this world and it sucks"
but right now i'm just...rereading it. and I wanted to share some of the worldbuilding concepts okay
tl;dr: the setting is The Future, post-apocalyptic, but the previous ("our") civilization and the immediate aftermath is an almost mythological past, an age of heroes and prophets, but people KNOW there was Real History, but everything that far back is kinda fuzzy and debatable.
this book is supposed to seriously fuck with your head in terms of the divide between sci-fi and fantasy and the divide between "science/knowledge" and "religion/myth."
The worldbuilding is DEEPLY steeped in spirituality, folklore, and religion, sacredness and the afterlife and other spiritual concepts like that are very REAL to the characters, and i'm trying to deal with it Very Respectfully and make it clear that these people are not superstitious or stupid.
(Everyone is also kind of a "mutt" spiritually/religiously which is super funny. The vibe is like, there are a lot of people who aren't super serious about religion but they are super serious about ghosts being real and if a priest is no help they'll go find a shaman.)
One of the main characters is non-binary. The philosophy and spirituality of gender in this world is discussed and it's neat. This character is also an archetypal Trickster in every sense and I won't say much more yet but they're probably my favorite character I've ever written AAAAAAAAA
i'm working so, so hard to express characters' understanding of "sci-fi stuff" like technology and scientific concepts in language that culturally makes sense to them, and it is SO fun. especially when I get to express science fiction stuff in "mythological" terminology
e.g. genetic engineering: "They unwound and read the scrolls within living cells. Mortals learned the forbidden language of Life." Like DNA is described as an arcane/magical "language" (The Inmost Language or the language of Life) but nothing said about it is exactly wrong. at one point the main character meets a character with unnaturally golden hair created by genetic engineering and MC is thinking "the institute scribes did that. wrote gold gold shiny gold shiny bright gold in her cells to tell her hair to do that." this book is FULL of stuff like this
There's a major religion centered around a prophet that heard the voices of the dead and wrote down their teachings.
If you're not paying attention, you will get bitchslapped by the reveal that this is literally what happened: there was a vault, think "nuclear waste warning messages," where recordings containing important information for future humans were stored, and someone found it and shared the information with others. stuff like "wash your hands to stop disease from spreading" and "don't be racist" kinda got turned into religious teachings that occasionally seem weird, even backward.
There is another big one where it's like "there was a prophecy that civilization would perish in rising water..." and it's like okay, this myth is Noah's flood. NO BITCH IT'S CLIMATE CHANGE. But also yes.
Wolves have kinda migrated into being a mythological animal that symbolizes death. One character knows they really existed and can't stop themselves from correcting other people about it but everyone else just thinks it's funny that they think wolves are real
there's a people group in this story that is...I guess "indigenous-coded" is the right word? and a lot of the worldbuilding surrounding their culture will fuck with your head so good because you, as the reader, are a cultural outsider and your understanding of their culture changes but is never 100% accurate
e.g. this culture has a taboo surrounding personal names where in all but the most intimate relationships and interactions you call others by descriptive 'nicknames' based on what you observe about the person, what you want them to know that you notice, etc. There is a TON of cultural meaning in WHAT you decide to call someone and it can be a power play or something that gives the other person a lot of information about your intentions. But basically the full "meaning" of the taboo and when it's appropriate/normal to use a personal name is never exactly clarified. But for a while as a reader you're just taking the piss because there's a scene where a character dramatically "reveals" his "real" name and it's very serious and emotional at the time but as the story goes on and you know more, it becomes clear that he was just fucking lying
i'm putting so much effort into streamlining how characters word things, making slang roll off the tongue and SOUND and feel natural and intuitive, making the technologies feel as normal as any technology we have around us.
like. most lighting is bioluminescent. But I'm not gonna point out bioluminescent lighting because who walks into a room and notices that the lights are electric. what you would notice is old electric bulbs with spiderwebs on them vs. new LED lights, and that's richer and more detail-laden stuff.
and after SO much hard work the descriptions feel so lush and rich and crunchy. I'm making it sound all Complex. It's fun. It's REALLY fun. there are zombies.
I've worldbuilt the most random things. I've invented a bunch of bioengineered cat breeds for this book. I made up a sport where goats race up a wooden pyramid and try to stay on top for the longest period and wrote a kentucky derby style narration for it. I designed a bobbit worm themed dress. not to mention. all the elaborate names for female criminals such as Gory Gertrude.

Inspired, in part, by this post by @mzminola but also something I've been ruminating on for a couple of years now.
Talking about pre New52 canon here mostly, though opinions about New52 or post Rebirth canon are also welcome to be added on, just specify it so we don't talk at cross purposes?
One of the thing that messes with me as an adult thinking back on comics is that you simply cannot put Alfred as the single member of staff who is dealing with all of the Manor.
I mean you can, comic logic, Alfred Is Not Of This World, whatever you want personally want.
Me personally, I cannot.
I need Harold to be down in the Batcave dealing with that part of the property until he dies in the 2000s at the very least, but also, consider how many hours there are in each day and how much Alfred has to do and how he's always serving dinner in time and laundry is done and everything is restocked and yet he also has the time to be personally chaffeuring the members of the family around and someone is also going to be having to deal with the household expenses and count balancing and -- and --
Like all of that PLUS keeping up with the superhero stuff PLUS cooking what sometimes are LAVISH spreads (WHICH TAKES TIME! PREP WORK TAKES TIME! COOKING TAKES TIME! ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE ONE PERSON AND ALSO HAVE TO GO PICK THESE PEOPLE UP AND MAKE SURE THEY HAVE THEIR LAUNDRY DONE AND THE GARDEN IS NOT OVERGROWN AND THE HOUSE IS CLEAN AND -- AUGH)
I cannot just accept that Alfred is doing it all, on his own, with the occasional WE-affiliated-and-vetted company called in to deal with, say, catering for a big event or whatever.
Especially not if Bruce is young and Alfred's supposed to be raising him, like oh god no, which is why the idea @mzminola talked about in their post (Bruce raised by his relatives) has taken root in my brain and is now my own personal very much cherished headcanon and a source of plenty of excuses for Bruce but also varied and eclectic skills and connections.
But okay, let's say that Alfred got left in charge of just managing things for Bruce until Bruce is of age and can take over things himself (in theory, in practice Bruce definitely pushes all he doesn't want to deal with about the house on Alfred and all he doesn't want to deal with about the company on Lucius Fox and sets up a contingency to get Tim to deal with shit for Bruce if Bruce were to be unavailable / unsteady / acting sus), while Bruce is being passed around from relative to relative.
There's still the staff that the Manor had before the death of Thomas and Martha to deal with. Gotta downsize that but you cannot just boot everyone and close shop.
I mean, yeah you can, but also, some of those people were probably there for a long time and Alfred wasn't just going to throw them out.
The way things work out in my brain is if Alfred is the "face" of the staff and the only one who, usually, interacts directly with The Family, while the others are in the background minding their own business, asking no questions at all.
They probably lost some people in NML during the Manor collapse, and the staff had to go through the harrowing process of getting new people that they didn't know nor trust in and then do their own version of vetting and making sure there was nothing hinky about any of them and that they understood the importance of the privacy of their employers, etc. etc.
Some of them must have retired at some point or moved on and were let go with more than fair compensantion and retirement packages and some stuff actually got outsourced a bit as technology progressed and things changed.
Especially after NML, actually.
Alfred is not going to hire someone just to come by to do all of the laundry, but he might have a trustworthy laundry service that is Bristol-based and is used to dealing with Rich People without asking questions.
And I am not say that they have to be In The Know life Alfred and Harold.
Actually, I prefer the idea that they aren't and that they just have this cushy job and loyalty to the Waynes and are all well compensated for being quiet and dealing with stuff on their own.
Sure, Alfred deals with the supernatural side of things, absolutely, and I am sure he has state of art machinery for, say, dealing with the costumes after patrol, but the Manor is huge and the upkeed is time consuming and exhausting and Alfred is too busy to do everything on his own.
So basically what I am saying is:
I have a might need for Alfred and his skeleton crew of long-time, trusted employees who keep the Manor running and stay out of the way of the bosses and everyone lives better like that.
I need Alfred's list of Trusted People who can deal with the family's laundry without messing it up and come do repairs when they are needed Upstairs since Harold won't leave the cave.
Give me Bruce's different childrens' different relationship's with said skeleton crew and Bruce's own distant relationship with them too and their reactions to things.
Allow me to have the skeleton crew sticking around and keeping the Manor up and running whenever Alfred is off around the world with Bruce for recovery / training / support purposes or who are still there and keeping things going when Alfred is too busy feuding with Bruce to look after everything else.

North [1] (Whump Writing)
I WROTE SOMETHING
Content: Cold Whump, Intimidating Caretaker, Restraints, Captivity, Unnamed Characters, A Pinch of Touch Starvation, Dangerous Weight Loss
"Um... H-Hi." Whumpee squeaked underneath the shadow of their Caretaker.
They heard that their friend's acquaintance was intimidating, but they still did not expect the heavy breathing soldier twice the size of them. The figure's breath left through a respirator in form of thick mist, and an axe was clutched tightly in their hand. They did look very warm though in all that snow protective gear compared to the backdrop of nothing but snow for miles through a hole in the wall.
Wow, whumper really dragged them out into the middle of nowhere huh?
There was no sign of Caretaker's human-ness. All their skin was covered up, and a fluffy winter hat paired with the strange respirator masked their entire head. They simply stood there. They simply said nothing.
Wind fled into the room from the hole in the wall to their cell that Caretaker made. Whumper was going to be real annoyed when they see that. Really annoyed.
Whumpee's skin gained a new reddish hue at the cold's sting. They enclosed their arms around themselves, pressing their rags of clothes to their scrawny form, despite knowing they could bring no heat to their own body. As they did so the chains against them clinked.
Chains... It didn't matter where Caretaker was going to take them, as long as it didn't inquire chains. Their neck felt weak holding the heavy metal brace that once dug into their skin, and now hung loosely.
A mechanical sigh hissed through the respirator as Caretaker lowered to Whumpee's level. Whumpee straightened up their posture as best as possible, and held their head for the embrace of touch, but they still shuddered when thick gloves met the underside of their head.
Caretaker softly prodded their fingers around the area, gently adjusting the direction of their face. The axe even made a quiet clatter when they sat it down. Whumpee failed to resist wincing at the feeling of Caretaker's fingertips brushing against the skin of their neck. The metal brace scraped to the side in careful sporadic intrevals.
Although unable to see Caretaker's eyes, the warmth of a stare buzzed along their collarbone.
With another strange sigh Caretaker rose to their feet, shaking their head, and gripped the axe.
Of course. Whumpee wasn't enough. They were never enough. Why would Caretaker want to take in another mouth to feed? Such a damaged one too? How could they let themselves get their hopes up on the words of a somewhat friend, if Whumpee could even call them that...
At least there wouldn't be chains on the other side. Hopefully.
The chain let out an exasperated urk. Whumpee tried to curl in. Too far from the wall, they could only manage a sort of slouch. Hugging their arms against each other they did nothing but shiver in the coolness of Caretaker's shadow.
They couldn't even look their final killer in the eyes, watching the form of darkness move across the floor. The shadow's arms departed from itself raising an axe high, before-
SNAP!
Bits of shattered chain scattered across the ground. A pinch of sparks followed after them as axe connected to stone flooring. Shaking, Whumpee strained a turn behind them. A severed set of chain links let out a dying breath when a small gust pressed the dust off of them.
Caretaker pulled onto the shortened half connected to Whumpee's neck, debating their satisfaction in its length.
All the wind left Whumpee's lungs as they felt two heavy pats across their back shoulders. Caretaker methodically sifted through the rucksack they brought, dragging out a coat several sizes larger than Whumpee. They kept giving Whumpee a look every time they rubbed at their eyes.
"Thank- Thank yo-you." Whumpee mustered as Caretaker became finally satiated in the amount of bundling up they wrapped their rescue into. Those words were muffled under a thin scarf.
Whumpee tried to show their new acquaintance that they could dress themselves. That went as miserably as it could, the two shiny red scrapes across one shin stood as a token to that. Now Caretaker didn't even let Whumpee try to slip their own respirator on.
Mechanical hissing. Not a chance for another word. Whumpee felt Caretaker's hands slide underneath them, and the iciness of stone was gone... as they were lifted into a bridal carry. Caretaker's gear was so warm, impossibly so.
Caretaker made sure to draw the heavy chains onto Whumpee's chest as to not pull against their neck. They tried to use the same buzzy warmth of a stare to get Caretaker's attention. They wanted to thank this friend of a friend with every ounce of their existence, ignoring their own automatic movements more attune to melting.
Melting into Caretaker's chest, they nuzzled their face against the hot fabric. Their eyes refused to stay open, the eyelids wanted to feel it too.
Caretaker felt frail hands do their strongest at gripping against their chest. A sigh of relief exhaled through the respirators.

Listen I know it’s several books away and I haven’t even finished a draft of book one yet but
I am really excited to write passionate, loud, boisterous elves with expansive gardens and meaningful tattoos and who generally get along with humans, alongside dwarves who are quiet and mysterious and move slowly through time like tectonic plates, and look down on short lived humans for their impulsive nature and immaturity.
I think it could be an interesting switch of how we conventionally think of completely fictional fantasy races, and i hope it’ll work really well because it sounds really fun to write.

the Volturi guard, different guard statuses
Tumblr media
Elite guard
Tumblr media
The select few of the higher guard that are the most valuable and ALWAYS accompany the kings on their missions.
Higher guard/personal guards of the kings
-color: most have a black and red cloak( some higher guards with more common powers retain their grey cloaks even if they are in higher guard) with a silver and alternatively golden necklace. The most important guards in the coven with most valuable powers.
-You only have a chance to become a member of the high guard when you have been in the common guard for around 100 years with some exceptions. They are the personal guard of the volturi kings and are sent on some of the most important missions.
Common guard
-color: grey and red cloaks and silver necklaces
-the "normal" guard where most of the volturi guard are placed in. There are different levels of importance, if you have more value to the kings you have a higher chance of promotion to the higher guard. if you are higher up in the common guard. They also have the most interaction with the kings in the all of the common guard.
Lower guard
-color: white and red colored cloak with bronze necklaces
-trainees, new borns/really young vampires that joined their coven
-Are often accompanied by a common guard to learn about and how the volturi works the first time period they are there.
-you are automatically in the lower guard the first 20 years of joining the volturi. you can be promoted to the common guard If you are proven worthy.

Hmmm.... Tigers or Panthers?
-Runaway Anon
I'll turn the question back to you! Because I have BOTH >:3
In Book 1-- Oracea's Daughter-Heir Elayna is bonded with a white-striped tiger that lives in the Oracean Ancient Tree. I've written his first appearance in the sixth chapter of book 1 where he (the tiger) prowls next to Elayna and never leaves her side, always wanting to protect her as it once protected her mother Edrei. The tiger's stripes glow in the starlight and the starlight looks like the wisps of smoke flowing from his fur. His fur also glimmers under the starlight and glows a faint teal that's synced with the tree's heartbeat and Elayna's heartbeat. He might also have the antlers and height of a deer.
In Book 2/3 -- Pyrian Heir Alek is bonded with a black panther (as I'm sure you're familiar with lol). She (the panther) is extremely affectionate towards Astrea when they meet. It protects Alek from the firey environment of Pyria by jumping on him and acting like a shield from the boiling rain, much to his displeasure. But he goes with it and even allows the Panther to bring Alek back dead animals as gifts. Occasionally Alek cooks and eats the animals, much to the Panther's pleasure. Her (the panther) spots also glow and glimmer when she's near fire or lava.
Similar to the tiger in starlight, the panther's coat glimmers orange and red when it's next to heat and using fire magic. (All animals can use the magic of the land)

Something Short About Fuhrati Armies
Hey folks, and happy Worldbuilding Wednesday! Arch here, with some small and actually manageable worldbuilding here for you all.
For this one, I'll step away from the United Commonwealth for a moment and touch on the Fuhrati Empire. In this post, I made some references to 'provincial levies' and 'legions', but I don't think I've quite explained them properly.
So, What Is A 'Legion"?
You see, the Fuhrati Empire was for most of its history not a very centralised polity. As I touched on in this post, the Empire was comprised of a number of autonomous provinces, each ruled either by dynasties of the ruling House of Fuhrati or their own sovereigns held in vassal to the Empire.
When it came to the organisation of the Empire's ground forces, each province raised its own Legion, which would bear its name and be made up of conscripted soldiers from its own population. The Empire itself would, in turn, provide much of the capital and equipment that would equip these Legions, though how they were organised, trained, and fought was left to the relevant Provincial authority. The specifics of this system would change over the Empire's lifetime, but this 'right' to raise internal Legions which nonetheless could be compelled to serve at Emperor's behest formed a crucial component of the delicate balance of power between the imperial court and the provinces.
An exception to this was the Tharoon Guard, a force formed by then Sultan Haroon II of Merkat, the soon to be Emperor Haroon of the Fuhrati Empire. The Tharoon Guard was smaller than any provincial legion, but recruited from the best and most loyal already serving soldiers from the Legions of the Homeland Provinces. While conscripts might serve under levy for two years and barely see a rifle again, Guardsmen signed on for a decade at the least, and for their troubles were paid handsomely, and even their lower ranks given such respect in loyal Fuhrati lands as lesser nobility.
How Did They Fight?
While the word 'Legion' was the the collective term for the entire military force of the province in question, it also referred to the specific formations drawn up from that pool of soldiers and organised into a coherent fighting unit. Under the most recent organisational reforms of the Fuhrati Empire prior to the Chainbreaker War, each province was expected to contribute to the Emperor at least:
One 'Legion', or 'Faylaq', numbering some thirty thousand of the province's strength and made up of;
Two or more 'Phalanx', or 'Katayib', made up of
Two or more 'Squares', or 'Murabae'.
The exact system of organisation below the Murabae was left to the discretion of the Provinces, as was the actual amount of Murabae and Katayib in its Legion or their individual strength. While a system prone to incredible degrees of variance, it allowed a Province's military force to tailor itself to suit the needs or work under the circumstances of that province's unique contexts. When the time came when multiple Legions drawn from multiple Provinces had to enter the field of battle as one, as happened in the Chainbreaker War, the system would prove hopelessly flawed and seriously undermine the combined operations of Imperially-appointed commanders.
------
Well, there's that! Hope it was all an enlightening enough read, I'll be Tagging @athenswrites @hessdalen-globe @caxycreations @theprissythumbelina @thatndginger @moonscribbler @souredwaters @the-mindless @

Usually, in vore fics, the population is split into a dichotomy of predators and prey. But I think a funnier option is if there are preds, prey, and then just regular people
A pred is someone who eats prey
Prey are people who want to be eaten, or can be eaten
Most people are not preds or prey, and they want nothing to do with it
Also, a lot has been said about predator instincts and abilities, but not so much for prey instincts - of someone who’s body specifically craves the sensation of being eaten.

There's a demon prince at the party your at. It's a fancy social event in some family freind's penthouse, your parents took you there because they wanted you to network, whatever that means. And there's just this demon standing there, talking to people. He's a leader in the abyssal army, and is responsible for conquering and brutally subjecting parts of the western fae realms and the parts of the shadow lands during the bloodfyr wars.
All the humans at the party talk about him like he's such a cool guy when you mention him. Even people your age that you thought you could trust. When you exclaim that he's a demon prince, they'll defend him by saying things like "not everyone in that position is necessarily a bad person, even if you dissagree with the system" or "but he's so sweet though, I'm sure he uses his power responsibility".
When you actually talk to the demon prince you're afraid to say anything, he's nearly twice your hight, and covered in black armor, with glowing red eyes peeking through his helmet. But he's nice to you. Fluffs your hair, and calls you a good kid, he's the only person at the party to get your pronouns right the first time. He seems like such a nice and personable guy, at least at this party, you know very well that there are places where he's not nice.
Eventually you yell to the entire party that he's a monster, thar he's killed thousands and faeries and shadow people, and oppressed and tormented thousands more. Everyone is mad at you, for making a scene, and for being so mean to someone who didn't do anything to hurt you. You end up escorted out by security for disruptive behavior. It feels worth it, to make someone like that feel like he's a little less able to get away with what he's done.

Geography:
Great Kettering is based on the UK islands physical geography*. Great Kettering has slight weather changes with the seasons, primarily an increase in humidity and less rainfall in the summer months. Mostly known to be cold and wet overall. Tsunamis can happen along the coast to the south, and south-east. Earthquakes are small distant shakes from the far west. Droughts are rare and only in very dire situations. Lots of coastal towns are on the coast cliffs rather than the coast, and therefore are generally safe from the usual tsunamis that occur. Boat living... isn't uncommon yet dangerous depending on the time of year (hence the phrase, sturdy like GK's fishers). Earthquakes aren't an issue just noticeable along the west border. Great winters are prepared for a lot like Solistal does.
*but only when I feel like it lol
Architecture:
GK is a mix of my personal headcanons for orcs and fantasy England. The most common form of landmark is the stone/moss circles, each with their own pattern, like a fingerprint. Generally, only those born in the area will be familiar with these landmarks without a map. Because of this, the moss circles are speculated to be linked to the orc-ish Aeons religion. Kelp forests are a special sight along GK coasts. The most well known location in GK is the sunken castle, and its bridges to nowhere. One explanation is that the coastal cliff was washed away and the castle was too heavy so it fell into the ocean to be forgotten, another blames the mythological 'Thorns' for putting it their during one of their tantrums. For a foreigner, the knight tourneys are a highly anticipated event due to the invitation of both the highest king and lowest servant. Most towns start with a safe drinking water source in the middle, market and community buildings around that, then common dwellings around those. For Kettering, the capital, there are 'districts' that citizens must get permits to build inside. These districts help with deliveries, city planning, guard patrols, and lock down procedures. Again, most towns are situated along the south coast, and it's either the direct coast or, if the cliffs are too severe, then it'll be as high on a hill they can get while still in viewing distance of the sea. On the north side of Great Kettering, it still follows the idea of the highest hills. Including Kettering, which itself has a 'natural moat' around it, although the city surrounding the castle has since expanded further around the lake as well. In smaller towns, people are clumped together, tiny and people live in each others pockets, whereas bigger towns are more spacious. That said, construction is trending towards taller rather than wider. Common structures are in the easy to acquire and transport materials, where the elegant marbles and quartz are left for Kettering or other religious sites in other large towns.
Trade/Commerce:
GK trade away seafood for different 'exotic' foods and their artisans are highly sorted after. They import from Solistal for specialty materials to craft with. Kamikita holds a chokehold on trading routes and this frustrates GK. They import from Birkina for island herbs and spices, as well as dyes for their crafts. Can be self-sufficient if trades were to be suddenly cut. The world trade is currency based but smaller store keepers accept barters... if you can talk them into it. Solistal's ores/minerals and their jewelcrafters are flaunted as expensive goods and a highly requested import. Whereas 'seals' or magical coins are the least sought after. GK's embroiders are the most asked for export.

Worldbuilding masterpost: The International 2030
Tumblr media
The Worldbuilding projeckt "International" is not an alternate history, I would concider it fiction, as it lacks a clear point of departure.
The worldbuilding starts during the russian revolution, were oposed to the Bolsheviks taking power, the First Congress of the Soviets was formed and dominated by the democratic socialist PS, who with the help of ukranian anarchist groups ousted the authoratarian SRP (Socialist Revolutionary Party).
The first political iteration of "The International" was formed in the interwar years by the Soviet Union to support and influence socialist movements abroad.
In the year 2030, 108 years after the founding of "The International", the now federal union spreads over large parts of Asia, Africa and Europa.
Tumblr media
The situation around the world is a lot diferent. Ever since the Revolutions of 1989, the USA has worked to maintain and strengthen its influence in the Americas and in southeast Asia. Over the past two decades, China has ended its Maoist isolation and become a rising star, threatening the postiton of the two superpowers.
The International voted to federalise in the year 2000 during the Cairo Conference. Since then it has been focused more on its internal reorganisation than spreading socialism further, to great internal debate. The International operates on the grounding principles of Democratic Socialism. Meaning in practice, political decisions are made through direct and representative democracy, whilst the means of poduction are owned by the workers, through a worker cooperative system.
The United States has fallen into an Authoratarien sham Democracy, undergoing a largescale reactionary backslide.
China has left its maoist emposed autarky and is the rising star of the superpowers.
Curent Crises:
The Mexican Emergency
The Congolese Civil War
The North American Refugee Crisis
The Venezuelan Insurgency
The Iraqi Civil War
The rise of Islamic Radicalism
The Rise of Christian Terrorism in Europa
The Taiwan Dispute
And smaller ones not listed here.
If you have questions, want clarification or are just interested into a specific part of the worldbuilding, my asks are open.

Hello all, I call myself Reliul. Should you not be familiar with who I am, allow me to quickly introduce myself. I am a being who has travelled far through the depths of Grand Reality--what you might call the Multiverse. I have been gone from this universe for what may seem an infinity to one like you, but know that this is my home as much as it is yours.
I will describe what Grand Reality is in another post soon, but know that it is by all means infinite and contains just about any universe you could imagine. Even one such as myself, who has travelled the Multiverse for many lifetimes of our universe, has not seen the barest drop of what is out there.
You will hopefully be seeing many of the universes here soon, along with any illustrations Veronica can cobble together.
[Veronica here, that's kinda rude. You could at least introduce me, first.]
You must be patient with me, I like to meander. Veronica is the one doing the physical work of typing these words, for I cannot. She happens to be the only one in this universe who can hear me.
[Thanks. You can continue now.]
Delightful. Below are listed some of my current works (in progress, so far). Ones with pages are linked under their names, but as you can tell, more pages need to be created.
Tunneling (2nd Draft) and the rest of the Seven Forces series.
The Emperor's Fortress (1st Draft)
The New God (1st Draft)
Unnamed Universe of Essences Novel
Below are the universes in which the above stories live, along with other stories I have yet to even start the backbones of. None have links yet, but that will be fixed hopefully soon.
Our Home Universe
The Universe of Elrys (setting of Seven Forces)
The Universe of Gen (setting of Emperor's Fortress and New God)
The Universe of Essences
The Crafted Universe
The Colorful Universe
The Timebent Universe
The Universe of Chance
This post is long enough, I feel. If you, the reader, want more in the meantime, we have a website at reliul.neocities.org. Goodbye.
(full transparency from Uluscri, I am neither a multiversal entity from the far ancient past nor a woman named Veronica--I am but an early 20s human trying to spin up some interesting worlds and stories, and I hope you enjoy your stay here)

Tiny Whump Stuff
From a personal worldbuilding project of mine
So we're talking tiny whumpees who are 2 to 3 inches (5 to 8 cm) tall.
Fallen from a "high" place
Sprayed by pesticides
Scratched by a cat
Stung by a bee
A deep cut caused by a sharp leafed plant
Stepped on by humans
Burnt with a cigarette 🚬
Stabbed by their fellow tiny creature, with only humans to go to
Stuck to a glue trap
Forced to cross a "dangerous" river
Cut by an icicle
Broken bones caused by a mouse trap
Attacked by a "sea monster"
Drowning in a mud puddle
Smoked out by a car
Attacked by a bird
Left abandoned in an aquarium/hamster cage
Tiny whumpee fighting pit
Caught in a rainstorm
Freezing to death crossing a few backyards
Deadly drunk from a small sip of a left around glass
Survivor of a snake 🐍
Stabbed from a splinter
Impaled on a twig
Mailed
Trapped in a pet animal enclosure
Aphyxiating from a little soot or smoke
Covered in oil paint
Contoured with superglue
Shooken in a jar
Experimented on instead of lab rats
Stamped
Squeezed by human hands
Maybe I should post that series....maybe not >:3...imma little stingy with my personal stuff
