Multicultural societies can be great, but there's one condition: different cultures must be willing to learn from each other and respect each other's values.
If people from one culture are open and welcoming, but people from the other culture want to enforce their own rules and take away people's freedom in the name of their religion, then the results are going to be catastrophic. This is why Europe is suffering right now and it's women who will pay the highest price.
Wondering what I mean? Let's have a look at some statistics:
Poll: 46% of French Muslims believe Sharia law should be applied in country
Over 40% of UK Muslims support “aspects” of sharia law
If it doesn't terrify you I don't know what to tell you. It surely terrifies me as fuck.

I’ve said this once in the past before I deleted this blog: When you see White people fighting back against the “cultural enrichment” that’s being forced (even when the cultures are in no way compatible) and their own becoming victims of racial attacks or hateful spew, you cannot blame them. Just as any other group has the right to defend themselves against those who seek to abuse them, Whites/Europeans are entitled to the same because they are a group of people just like the rest of us. While it very much is possible for different groups to co-exist with each other, there are always unruly members who seek to harm and be hateful. This is why it makes no sense for speaking about about racism towards anyone except for White people because what ends up happening is those who are not White begin to cultivate feelings, thoughts, and produce ideologies that are very much in fact anti-White or just downright racist against White people. So many “POCs” rant about how much they hate White people and yet complain about the racism that Whites who view their content share in response to the racism that “people of color” spew.
Have you no idea that you are all continuing the cycle? You are rolling the ball of hatred towards the other side and they do the same. It is a game of tag. A simple tit-for-tat game.
Then comes the generalization of each race as being accused of hating others entirely when the truth of the matter is that people who do not share that sort of sentiment are being painted with a brush simply because of their race. Then comes the “race war” mentioned all across social media. When one has all of these lowly emotions, which in truth are rooted in ego, what ends up happening is simply blaming others for any mess ups or slightest bit of negative emotion like anger that can lead to fighting (physical or verbal) by saying it’s because of their race when in fact it’s just a human experiencing emotions that the perceiver associates with racial archetypes/stereotypes.
This whole thing that we’re seeing today—globally—gives me a headache and yet is so disappointing. People expect for everyone to be all “Kumbaya”/we are all of the colors of the world when in reality we should recognize and appreciate that we are all different, and that’s more than okay.
I could get into a post in addition to this, but that would require me to write an entire one about immigration (both legal and illegal), religion, and by extension attitude towards weaker members of foreign societies like women and children (mainly) and the elderly.
Perhaps some other time I will.

ok I'm not an expert but I'm not seeing much specific info going around here, and there's a lotta Palestine solidarity protests in the UK this weekend, so here is some (including UK-specific) protest info and resources (mostly pulled whole-cloth from Twitter)
policing is heavy at Palestine protests generally
Hamas is a proscribed org under UK law. that means "inviting support" for them or "wearing clothing or displaying articles" that implies you are a supporter is a criminal offence (if you're interested, here's the full list of criminal offences from gov.uk). Palestinian flags etc are ok*, but do not have something that could be mistaken for Hamas imagery. don't go out there looking for convictions pls.
*in spite of what Suella Braverman has implied, the London Muslim Community Forum has just confirmed that the Palestinian flag is not a proscribed flag and is not banned (apologies for quoting the "we advise the met police" group but I thought it was important to have that info explicitly)
don't talk to cops. that includes the police liasion officers in blue bibs.
particularly if you're concerned about your face ending up on social media etc, but also just good practice in general (both in terms of COVID and protest safety)—mask up. cover up tattoos etc.
have bustcards or contact details for protest legal support on you. Green and Black Cross can be contacted on 07946 541 511. write the number on your arm etc.
if you witness an arrest: check if there's a legal observer nearby and if so call them over; if not: if the arrestee doesn't have a bustcard, give them one, find out where they're being taken, and contact eg GBC or a protest support line
if you have the time and can help out, there will likely be arrestee support required after—GBC tend to post callouts on Twitter for this
other links
for particularly children and young people and their families being referred to PREVENT for pro-Palestine statements, contact PREVENTWatch and maybe also Palestine in School (newer initiative I think, I don't have an excessive amount of detail on them just FYI)
Liberty, Migrants Organise and Black Protest Legal Support have bustcards in different languages, including Arabic and Somali (also Liberty's website has lotsa useful info, including advice for disabled protesters, protesting and immigration status, and what to do if you're kettled)
GBC's thread on what to do if you see an arrest is useful, as are all their resources generally
if I've missed anything or made a mistake, lmk—as I said, I am very much not an expert. if you know people who are protesting, pass them the legal support line numbers; if you're attending, stay safe and be vigilant; and ofc carry water.

hey! as y’all know, Better Future Program is an entirely youth-run nonprofit and we provide over 3,000 FREE social justice, mental health, and academic resources. but because the majority of our volunteers are full-time students in middle school, high school, and college, we need YOUR help!
the screenshotted sections above have WAYYYY less resources than some of the others. do you think you could help us out? if you have leftist, anti-capitalist resources that align with these topics, please submit them here!
to reiterate, we are looking for leftist, anti-capitalist resources pertaining to: Jewish rights, Muslim rights, immigration, climate change, reproductive rights, classism, children’s rights, educational equity, and fat liberation

women & "feminists" who shut down discussions on how unregulated immigration of *males* from islamic countries *do* pose an additional threat to the safety and freedom of local women & girls are simply spineless.
this is not a "our males vs their males" comparison, which is unnecessary, considering all men harm all women around the world.
this is about opposing the import of potential rapists, which would only add to the existing population of them. they are men who disproportionately leave their women and children behind when immigrating to other countries.
women from islamic countries are aware of how men view the "western woman". we know about their rape fantasies. i will never prioritize my nationality or the comfort of foreign/familiar men over my loyalty to the protection of women & girls.

Seeing characters in romance stories just jetting between countries at a moment's notice with no thought for visa; seeing airports as sites of triumphant climaxes and romantic denouements instead of places of fear and danger where a sword hangs above your head— it all breaks off little pieces of my heart. They're constant reminders that my people will never be human enough in the colonial world order to be allowed to move freely around it. No matter what your race, those non-refugees living in the Global North will never understand what it's like to be part of a global ghetto where your passport is nothing but a trembling supplication and humiliation.

i feel like we should be more worried how feminism and leftism as a whole are so easily infiltrated and psyopped by islam defenders. like on the one hand we get told 'noooo it's racist to think islam is more misogynistic than even other religions' and on the other 'hunty don't SPEAK on misogyny experienced by women in MENA, you simply don't understand how bad it is!' well, if it's that bad (and it is) i don't want to import large numbers of these men into my country, sue me for caring that some of the only regions of the planet women can live a relatively autonomous life are gonna backslide. there's neighborhoods in france where unveiled women can't walk around in peace or enter a café. it's fucking over if we let this continue.
Absolutely, you're 100% right. It's a shame that those leftists who accuse everyone of being racist don't want to listen to the actual ex-muslim women from islam-dominated countries. I do listen to them and that's why my feminism includes being unapologetically anti islam. I'm trying to spread the awareness of how dangerous this religion is, both on here and irl. I'm glad that I live in a country where we don't have a lot of muslim immigrants and I hope it will never change. And I feel so sorry for women in Germany, France and Scandinavia because it's getting worse and worse for them there and I see no way to stop it. I feel that it all went too far now and there's nothing we can do to save them. The only solution would be a massive deportation of non-integrated immigrants or basically forcing them to integrate and accept western values, both unlikely to happen. In conclusion, the future of Europe really doesn't look bright.

it's so frustrating to see the ease with which people take israel to be representative of all jewish people somehow. like yesterday I was reading the news and it said something like 'the jewish and the palestinian side of the conflict' as if jewish people are a hivemind and universally support israel. ultimately I think that's a narrative that just benefits israel and if you buy it I'll conclude you respect neither jewish people nor palestinians, you just respect colonial interests

The way western liberal people tend to assume groups of minorities are also liberal because they are oppressed under certain power structures is so interesting to me

Otherwise he felt completely awash in time: stuck between birth and death, an interval where he’d never quite gotten his footing. But he was also awash in the world and its checkboxes—neither Iranian nor American, neither Muslim nor not-Muslim, neither drunk nor in meaningful recovery, neither gay nor straight. Each camp thought he was too much the other thing. That there were camps at all made his head swim.
