Fact time: Same Snakes like water can swarm; some are good and some are bad. You’re one of those bad swimmers. Even though you can control water, there's no way you’re swimming, but that’s never a problem. Until you have to go to the beach…

You’re always at the edge of the water when little bits reach you; the small waves that were able to reach splashed your feet as you watched Mk play in the water with his floaters, making him look so silly, but it wouldn’t be fun if Mk were the only one having fun, so why don’t you join him?

“Water’s nice,” he tells you with a bright smile before splashing a bit of water on your legs, making you squirm a bit. Mk goes down to cup water between his hands before throwing it at you.

"come on! It feels great!”  He laughs at your reaction. “Feels great, huh?” You grin at him with a dark aura behind it before deciding to summon a big wave that’s slowly coming behind Mk. The sunlight around you is slowly enveloped by the dark shade of the wave.

“WAIT A MINUTE!!” Too late, the big wave strikes, leaving him sopping wet and leaving you looking as graceful as ever.

"Fine, I’m going to get you back!"

"Sure, I’d like you to summon a wave,' monkey  kid."

I want to ask what the Monkie Kid crew relationship with animals is? I know Sandy loves/is loved by cats, and there is a funny theory that I seen that Wukong is just an animal magnet. But what are your thoughts on this?

Wukong has Disney Princess-level animal magnetism. But especially towards Horses. Sun Wukong is barred from most derbies/tracks cus if he walks in, all the race horses will immediately trot over happily cus "The Bimawen is here!!" And he'll happily jump the fence to give every horse a petting. And yeah almost all wild animals (save apex predators) just feel happy around him.

Macaque, despite his foreboding aura, often ends up swarmed by younger/baby animals. He pretends not to know why. It's cause he has shameless mom instincts. Even if he was considered an Outsider to the original Monkey demon troop, he was adored by the infants he cared for. Those said infants are now grown immortal monkeys who see him as their many-times great-grandmother. If Sun Wukong is the honorary "Grandfather/Yeye/Waigong Sun" (as said in JttW) to all monkey demons, then Macaque is "Grandmother/Nainai/Zumu Liu'er". A similar effect occurs in rabbits (decendants of the wild moon rabbits he knew when he lived with Chang'e).

Sandy ofc loves cats and has similar Disney Princess-energy towards wild animals as seen in "To Catch a Leaf". Also tarantulas - you know why.

Pigsy claims to hate animals, but he folds if a cat or dog even headbutts him. Makes a million excuses why he doesnt run off the alley cats the hang out outside the restaurant. ("They're good for pest control.", "Leftovers gotta go somewhere.", "Tang you're petting one right now." Etc).

Tang loves animals like cats, but its a 50/50 if they'll even indulge him. I hc that he's a little scared of dogs and large birds (cicada instincts), but will pet a friendly good boi if they make a good first impression. Thinks pet bugs are really neat and underrated (Pigsy has banned him from getting any).

MK loves dogs. He is pure dog loving energy. Will look at an immortal celestial warhound and ask "Who's a good boy?" and he'll most likely get a tail wagging. Also thinks turtles are mega cool.

Mei I hc wasn't allowed pets in the Long/Dragon household, so she can be over-enthusiastic when meeting new critters, and gets sad when they scurry off startled. Wukong has been teaching her some of his old Bimawen tactics though, since she really loves horses (literal horse girl energy) and was def the little girl who asked for a pony every birthday.

Red Son is def a lizard/bird parent. I love the hc that his fave animals are chickens, and could def see him having a loose hen in the palace (wearing hygenic birdy pants ofc). He also seems like he'd vibe with desert/hot climate reptiles who see him as a heat lamp. Towards cattle and big farm animals tho? His territorial bull instincts flare up and starts picking fights.

Nezha likes snakes. Don't look too deep into it. (They remind him of Ao Bing). Thinks cats and dogs are overrated.

Bai He. Cats cats cats! She loves them in all their forms. Big, small, fluffy, sphinx! Like Mei she can be over-enthusiastic, and often gets scratched/bitten by street animals she tries to befriend. Big cats seem to like her for some reason.

+Bonus au character: Chenxiang loves birds. Especially water birds. They remind him of his very early childhood when ducks, geese, and crane would follow him and his mother while lotus harvesting. Will not stand for goose slander. Will get swarmed by flocks of birds if left alone in a public park.

Xiaoqing is the Green Snake of legend, sworn sister to the deceased White Snake/Bai Suzhen. Having moved to Megapolis in her efforts to evade the monk Faihai, she became a student in Tang's class and, after having her identity revealed to Team Monkie Kid, quickly became a part of their group. Even after Fahai's defeat, she stays with them, having finally found a family and a place where she belongs.

Lina/Yueyang:

Lina is a guardian of Chang’e the successor to the next generation of guardians on the moon. She resides there even as a mortal and comes down whenever she feels like it to earth, Usually she gets stuck in situations along with mk because he may or may not accidentally dragged her into it. But she’s fine with fighting alongside her own friends. Lina is quite outgoing, Extremely loyal, Sometimes sarcastic and even stubborn.

Both Red Son and MK are canon characters and very silly

Lotus is literally just,, a human who somehow stumbled upon these supernatural shenanigans and fell in love. They're just a dork (/pos)

And Nyrel is part snake part lady! She's also blind and can control plants and water to a certain degree.

Dexereign (Dex/Sovereign)

SO SOVEREIGN IS THE LEADER OF CYBER_CITY AND DEX STARTS OUT AS A MEMBER OF THE REBELLION AGAINST HIM. They meet when there's an informant that has stuff to tell Dex but is insisting to meet at the Cyber Ball. Long story short Sovereign realizes what they are doing and decides to mess with Dex as kinda a warning shot Sovereign asks Dex to dance, which is making Dex a lot physically closer to the Sovereign then he wants to be. Dex can't refuse the offer though because A. that'd look kinda suspicious and B. Sovereign is uh. The SOVEREIGN. So they dance (yay) and the entire time Dex is thinking 'oh he HAS to know there is no way he does not know' while trying to not look uncomfortable (and failing). Sovereign then whispers in Dex's ear and says 'I know what you are doing.' which makes Dex internally go 'OH GOD NO'. After that whole shebang Dex becomes the talk of the town because the Sovereign himself asked to dance with him. Which is admittedly great publicity for Dex's bar 'Drink n Die!'. The next bit is just Sovereign keeping an eye on Dex by having guards stationed in Dex's bar and making sure Dex isn't doing #rebellious stuff. The timeline gets a little dischunked here but stuff that happens yeah: - It's strictly forbidden in CYBER_CITY to go out to the outside world but Dex does it anyway and confirms Sovereign was lying about the world being a wasteland. Sovereign's soldiers find him and even though Dex isn't BAD at fighting he was greatly outnumbered. - Dex gets questioned by Sovereign and Sovereign starts alluding to his #motive and why he is lying to CYBER_CITY. - Dex escapes but doesn't realize that Sovereign basically let him leave - other events happen and Dex starts to trust Sovereign, and basically quit the rebellion - the turning point in the relationship is that Dex's old rebellion teammates find out Dex is now basically siding with the Sovereign. They arrange a meeting with Dex under false pretense of 'catching up' but what actually happens is that they gravely injure Dex for turning traitor. Sovereign figures out what is happening and swoops in to save Dex. However he's kinda late at this point and Dex is slowly bleeding out. Sovereign calls for a medic and is sobbing because he thinks he is going to lose Dex. Luckily a medic does arrive in time and Dex survives! -your honor they are basically married at this point

So Kai’s thing is pyroportation? Like Red Son? How does it work? Does he like, turn into flames and uses them to move around- kind of like as if he were spreading like a wildfire? Also I LOVE the fire breath. Connecting that to the smoke breathing NGJDJDJJSJE I LOVE IT. I have a lot of feelings over Kai’s powers rn, even if he’s on thin ice for not believing in Jesse, a bonafide ninja in all but the spinjitzu. I absolutely support him in making Kai’d a thing.

Wait, you told me Olivia was going to be at the Snake pit. Does Garmadon bring her or does Lloyd tell Jesse who she is and they both YOINK her into the pit? I say they should yoink her. Also did everyone just forget that Lloyd can master build? And even the ninja had a hard time fighting him when they first met? Lmao why are they doubting him he’ll be fine.

LIKE RED SON! Bruuuuuuh I forgot that was even a thing Red Son could do now I gotta rewatch Monkie Kid for extra inspo—

How Kai uses it is by making a flame first, merging with it, and then he can conjure up a flame wherever he wants to go from there. He can make a long trail of fire and travel along it before deciding when to pop out (similar to Jay traveling though an electric wire, which is apparently a thing he can do, thanks wiki!) or he can make a series of smaller fires and "bounce" between them. This can also work in the air, although not for very long and not very effectively! But he tries!

Pyroportation also only works with fire made directly from Kai's soul—so, if someone lights a fire torch or a campfire with a match or lighter or something, Kai can't warp to it. It's not nearly as "quick" as Jay's teleportation either, and he can be traced while traveling within his flame if one pays enough attention, but unlike Jay (and Jesse, technically), there's no limit to how many times he can use it consecutively.

In the case of Olivia, Lloyd doesn't know Olivia is a student, and Jesse doesn't know Olivia is a General, but they're preeeetty close to finding out for themselves! Can't promise anyone gets yoinked tho!

And really the group's mainly worried about Lloyd because a) he was literally stuck in a cage for over a month, like take some time to BREATHE, KID, and b) ooOOOoOoooo he's the Green Ninja now even if he doesn't know yet, can't risk getting him involved so soon and gotta protect him and blablabla and c) he's a smart skilled cookie but that is still just a kid man why is their last resort a literal CHILD—

Plus, four underskilled ninja are an entirely different beast than an entire race of violence-loving reptiles, of which at least three of them have attempted to traumatize you and/or kill you and/or use you for dangerous rituals sksnksnk

But don't worry! I didn't forget he's a Master Builder, mwehehehe >:3

Top 10 of characters that should appear in season 4

Ever since I knew about the fourth season of Monkie Kid, I've been wondering about the plot and the new characters that would appear.

So here's my own top 10 of characters, deityties and gods/godnesses that I think should appear on the new season!

Nº 10 The Cowherd and the Weaver Girl

I am a sucker of romance and this kind of story should be included. The story tells of the romance between Zhinü , the weaver girl and Niulang, the cowherd; it was a forbidden romance and they were seperated in the space, with the Milky Way in between them. Once a year, on the seventh day of the seventh lunar month, a flock of magpies would form a bridge to reunite the lovers for a single day, the Qixi Festival.

Why they should it appear in the show? Other that they would be an adorb couple, every show needs a valentine's episode.

Nº9 The White Snake and Green Snake

Another love story that it cannot be ignored. Bai Suzhen and Xiaoqing are two snake demons of the old chinese folklore, in wihch the white snake became a deidity by saving her beloved mortal husband. We had dragon characters, so why not snake characters? I think it would be cool to have some desdants of them, either allies of villians.

Nº8 Fox Demons

There's sonething about foxes that I love in the asian myths; they can either been tricky and evil or just playfull shenanigans. And that's what it's so much fun about them. They could appear as either the goddess Huxian or normal spirti foxes as like Huli Jing. I think it would be a fun idea to design a fox lego figure; I do hope theymade it a two faced one.

Nº7 Guanyin

This godness of compassion was part of the Journey of the West story; she provided the Golden Headband which the Monk Tripitaka used to control the Monkey King during the quest. I can see Sun Wukong being pretty wary around her. Really! She may be like the Virgin Mary of this myth but she created a torture item that gave him headaches. I'm sure that if they make her in the Lego wolrd, she would be beautiful.

Nº6 The Jade Emperor

HUGE deal with this god. And a must-to-appear character that the gang had to face one of this days. The Jade Emperor should be intimidating and solemn, and also someone else that Sun Wukong would not want to face soon. After all, he created an havoc on the Celestial Realm.

Nº5 The Jade Rabbit (Or Moon Rabbit)

One thing that I missed in the episode with Chang'e was the Jade Rabbit. I don't know if it was the one of the opening of her cooking tv show or if the creature created the robot rabbits for some reasons, but I do really want to see it interacting with others. Apperently, the rabbit was also an antagonist of the Journey of the West. Which means the bunny has an story with Sun Wukong... I imagine that, ironically, the monkey isn't so keen with the fluffy animal. Yes, he was all adorable with the robot rabbit; but he knew what attitude the rabbit truly has and he would go "Oh, it's you again?"

Nº4 Sha Wujing

Now to the canon characters that I do hope we can see, in flashbacks at least. I start with Sha Wujing of the Sand River and an general of Heaven that was dishonered by his own bad actions. In the series we know so little about him and his conection with Sandy that it would be nice to see him and the power he has in the past.

Nº3 Zhu Bajie

Now this pig contrast a lot with Pigsy. Unlike our favortie cook, this celestial swine was more twisted and egoist in the story. This guy had been kidnapping ladies and threating villages like the typical villian of the story, but he had the chance of redemption like the others disciples of the monk. I totally see the Bajie and Wukong having bikering and fights like two not-ask-to-be brothers.

Nº2 The White Dragon Horse

Who doesn't love dragons? Bai Long Ma has become one of the secondary characters that we need to appreciate and know better. The plot twist that he protected his monk friend by becoming the fourth Ring of the Samadhi Fire was unpredictable and needed to be deeped. Somehow it seems like the Dragon family didn't knew about this inconvinience curse or whatever. Why did he concealed the secret? And what would be Mei's opinion of his great-great-etc-grandfather? And also, why we didn't saw him shapeswift into a horse yet?

Nº1 Tang Sanzang

Why is he in the top one you ask? Because I do feel like his presence would be appearing more in the future series, now that we know that Mr Tang it's his reincarnated. This monk also called Tripitaka was a crutial, and still is, role of patience and kindness that it makes impact to the people he is surrounded. He gave his disciples the chance to change, to become better, because he saw in them a smigde of goodness that they can achieve... Even in the Lady Bone Demon, sadly. His power and energy needs to be explored and see in flashbacks. I feel like Sun Wukong would still remember his master with respect and caring.

妹妹 (Mèimei)

"You're probably unlucky, or stupid. You're letting the West Wind push you down. Fight fire with fire, and push forward through the flames."

My friend introduced me to a new show- Lego Monkie Kid, quite fascinating to watch! Feeling inspired by a prompt I saw on character ai, I created a sibling for one of my favorite characters in the show: Red Son! (Have to admit, the art style is unique but hard to replicate!)

Some Lore below, if you're interested!

After the Samadhi fire was contained, the parents decided to have another child. They named this child Mèimei!

When DBK was released and this child grew to be 12 years in human years, the family went to conquer Metropolis - without her. She found comfort in various other board games lying around around the house. She took control of all winds in Mahjong, challenged herself in Xiangqi, and controlling yin and yang in Weiqi.

It wasn't fun, but it passed the time when her family would do their villain plans

Board games were the only thing she was good at, and she tried getting her family to join sometimes. Red son occasionally joined in her games, but Meimei would always beat him. He would leave furiously for wasting his time, or at least that's what he says.

Personality wise, she has learned to close herself off due to having no knowledge to a way to the mortal realm, and the absence of her parents and older brother. She's quiet and shy, and has abandonment issues.

Now due to fact I only watched season 1 and like 1 episode of season 2, this is only s1 info, lmao

Other fun facts:

She has a very high spice tolerance and can handle "Inferno" spice level without water. (Thanks Arti for the suggestion!)

She can't write most Chinese characters, but she can speak Chinese perfectly fine

Her pouch contains magical game pieces, making elements with them.

Her favorite food is congee (rice porridge) with lots of chili oil, a thousand year old egg, and tons of ginger. (Thanks Arti again!)

If she were to go to the mortal realm, the first she would want to do is people watching

In human time, she was born in the year of the snake.

She was named Meimei because of the joke that Redson is named Redson. It's like... naming your child Third Son. 妹妹 means younger sister. (Yes I know Red son is based off the same character from the Journey to the West, but it's still funny lol)

The butterfly isn’t a normal butterfly. They’re a servant of the Bodhisattva Guanyin in disguise.

The snake, bird, and monkeys all risked Huntsman's wrath to help Sha Dali because he helped them, but the butterfly didn't have a problem for Sha Dali to help with. They seemed to flutter into his vicinity purely by chance.

The monkeys acted realistically afaik, but the snake and the bird were somewhat anthropomorphized. Their real-life counterparts can’t really do facial expressions, and real snakes aren’t typically complex enough to be social. The ostensibly cutesy-wutesy butterfly, conversely, didn’t seem anthropomorphized at all. No impossibly blinking eyes or smiling/frowning mouth, no vocalizations, no apparent intelligence beyond that of a real-life insect fluttering around at random.

Until this shot implied they were keeping an eye on Sha Dali. (Note the prominent eyespots on their lower wings.)

And then they landed on Huntsman and allowed him to hold them, not acting startled or attempting to escape even when he jostled them. Watching Sha Dali the whole time.

Huntsman's attempt to squash them failed, and they didn’t get injured when Sha Dali unleashing his aura blew them away or get crushed by debris when he punched a hole in the mountain.

I don’t... think Sha Dali intended to kill Huntsman. But “what’s wrong? Isn’t this what you wanted?” was clearly a taunt. And “let me show you why I promised never to fight again!” was clearly a threat. Sha Dali did intend to scare him, and quite possibly to hurt him. Probably not badly. Probably.

The butterfly got between them to communicate “hey Sha Wujing Dali you’re gonna vaporize this guy if you so much as smack him, so don’t.”

And then they helped Sha Dali find his field guide before finally fluttering off. I wonder if we’ll see them again?

At first I thought the butterfly might have been the Bodhisattva Guanyin herself, but a few details make me think they’re simply one of her servants.

The Bodhisattva’s themes of compassion, mercy, and being “all-seeing” are present throughout the episode. She’s the patroness of sailors and fishermen and is often associated with water plants/animals (willow, lotus, rice, sea turtles, etc.), so it makes sense she’d gravitate towards helping Sha Dali the water guy.

But while she does have snake and bird associations and will sometimes shapeshift into forms with those characteristics, she doesn’t seem to be associated with butterflies. The butterfly is always accompanied by a faint bell/chime sound, and I’m not seeing any associations with those, either.

There’s also a small flaw in the butterfly’s design that makes me think they’re of a lesser caliber than the Bodhisattva.

A detail that carries over from Journey to the West to Lego Monkie Kid is that while Sun Wukong can shapeshift into many different creatures, he can never quite manage to make his tail disappear.

Similarly, the butterfly has two appendages that are probably supposed to look like the “tails” certain species of butterflies have on their wings (Papilio ulysses, Wikipedia), but these are much more prominent and connect to the abdomen instead. The Bodhisattva seems to have no such problem with shapeshifting, so this is more likely a servant who can’t quite manage to hide their belt/sash or twin tails.

Butterflies are associated with femininity, so this servant is probably a woman, but their curly proboscis could also translate into a curly moustache. Or perhaps they’re like the Bodhisattva Guanyin and their gender is more of a yes/no/whatever situation.

Okay so a scene I’ve been thinking about my S/I in in Monkie Kid (specifically s3) is the one where MK and Macaque are fighting after MK, Sandy, and Mei (and in this case my S/I) get separated from the others. My S/I tried to help MK fight back but bc of the s2 finale he instead ends up just like,,, popping a whole fucking snake tail instead of legs. MK & the others end up taking down Macaque. Also for the rest of the season my S/I is just gonna be stuck with a snake tail lmao.

DnD 5e UA Subclass Concepts

With the sheer onslaught of new content we’ve gotten from Wizards of the Coast recently, I felt it’d be fun to throw out my own ideas for potential subclass ideas. Some are admittedly a little more fleshed out than others, but it’s still a fun exercise just to flex my creativity.

ARTIFICER

    Cybertronics: Perhaps too much of a retread of Warforged, the base concept is an Artificer who has replaced parts of their body with artificial substitutions.

    Interfacer: Geared towards spying and information gathering, the interfacer is a hacker who is skilled at disabling security, causing machinery to malfunction, and can turn a building’s security cameras into their eyes on the inside. But might rely too heavily on a technologically advanced world.

BARBARIAN

    Hero’s Soul: Your body is host to a legendary warrior. Upon raging, you surrender control of your body to this paramount champion, allowing you to fight like a demigod.   

    Bleeding Heart: Rather than only gaining power through rage, a Barbarian with a Bleeding Heart can form an attachment to mementos as they level up that remind them of intense emotions, with each emotion having different benefits at different levels. So, you could have a memento for every powerful emotion, or you could choose to only keep mementos that trigger a single powerful feeling, such as fear, sadness, or joy.

BARD

    Wilderness: Your song has the ability to attract the attention of woodland critters, and beast creatures will be less hostile toward you. At higher levels, your song can soothe even the most savage beast, making one intelligent creature passive toward you once per long rest.

    Humor: Laughter is the best medicine, and keeping the morale and vitality of your allies high is the primary concern of this bardic subclass. A successful performance check will revitalize friendly creatures. When you’re not lifting your friends’ spirits with your gambols, you’re making yourself a distracting target so that your friends won’t get hurt as much with you around.

CLERIC

    Love     Sea     Fire     Shadow/Darkness     Evil     Plague     Music     Secrets     Fate/Destiny     Luck     Chaos     Time

DRUID

    Unity: You have literally become one with nature. You select a terrain and bond so deeply that the world has started to live in you. Whether birds nest in your hair, barnacles and coral has begun to sprout out of your body, or your hair has turned into leaves, your bond with nature has reached the pinnacle.

    Menagerie: As you level up, certain parts of your body will be given the option to permanently morph into having bestial traits. For example, you might choose the predatory eyes of a hawk, the keen smelling of a dog, the superb hearing of a cat, or the gills of a fish as a facial mutation.

    Xenomorph: Very similar to the Menagerie, except instead of looking like a freaky gene spliced chimeric beast, you instead become more and more alien until you look like something out of Lovecraftian horror.

   Shaman: Your spirit animal is given shape through your understanding of magic, and it aids you in ways a physical animal could not.

FIGHTER

    Achilles: You have trained like a Greek hero and have honed the mythic power of the gods. You are stronger and tougher than is normal for your race at the cost of having a weak spot that expands the chances for enemies to land a crit on you.

    Dragon Knight: At level 1, the dragon is a tiny creature that can ride on your shoulder and try to help you in a fight. By level 20, it will be a full-sized mount that you can ride on. As you level up, you can decide where to focus its training, whether you want it to throw its weight around, focus on its breath attack, or make its scales sturdier and more resilient. How you train your dragon will determine the kind of fighting style that works best for you.

MONK

    Mystic: Your enlightenment and understanding of the universe has become so sagely that you have learned to convert your ki into spell slots. Casting with Wisdom, you have learned how to tap into the Wizard’s spell list of 5th level or lower spells.

    Animal Style: Choose an animal’s martial arts style between Tiger, Monkey, Snake, Crane, Mantis, and Dragon. Tigers hit harder and more ferociously, Monkies are more agile and excel in mobility, Snakes strike faster and are more adept at stunning and can cause poison conditions, Cranes have superior balance and can fly short distances, Mantises are better at not getting hit and going unnoticed, and Dragons are better adept to fighting large groups of enemies on their own.

PALADIN

    Fairytale Knight: Able to resist magical damage, magical charms or fears, and being adept at slaying magic-users and dragons makes this the quintessential hero in story-telling. Of course Remove Curse is among their subclass spells.

    Reaper: You have sworn an oath to the laws of death, which are finite and absolute. You roam the land ending the lives of those whose time has come to perish. This subclass is neither intrinsically Good or Evil, as it can be used as a normal part of the natural order, or for carnage and murder.

    Vigilante: Donning a mask and cowl, you bring about justice outside of the law.

RANGER

    Pack Bond: You forge a bond with an animal companion of your choosing. While in the wild, you can attempt to tame other animals of the same kind with your Animal Companion serving as the Pack Leader. Among wild groups of your Animal Companion, you and your traveling companions will be trusted enough to be welcomed in their dens, receive a share of their hunt, and be protected by them from other hostile creatures.

ROGUE

    Viper: An expert in poison and disguises, the Viper is a stealthy killer who uses poison and pragmatic tricks to put their opponents at a disadvantage during a fight. What they lack in sheer power they make up for by having ways of weakening their foes.

    Tomb Raider: You’re an experienced graverobber who has developed a knack for exploring ancient temples. Your past adventures have given you a keen eye when detecting traps, solving puzzles to advance through dungeons, and the ability to set up camp inside a dungeon without being at risk of hostile encounters.

SORCERER

    Infernal: Your power comes from a Fiend ancestor.

    Fey: Your power comes from a Fey ancestor

    Entombed: Your power comes from an Undead ancestor.

    Demigod: Unlike the Divine Soul Sorcerer, you are the literal progeny of an actual deity. Select a Cleric Domain your divine parent belongs to and receive unique features through your divine birthright.

WARLOCK

    Nature: You have made a pact with a powerful force of nature, be they a Nature God, an elemental, or a powerful druid, you are given the ability to harness the forces of nature in return for protecting nature with your life.

    Shadow Society: Rather than getting your power from an extra-dimensional being, your power was granted by a group of mortal castors to use you to do their dirty work. In return for your service, they have given you a portion of their power.

    Artifact: This patron isn’t sentient. Rather, it is simply a powerful magical relic which you use to channel energy from in order to cast your spells. While this subclass comes without the burden of indentured servitude to a usually malevolent being, the artifact can be lost or stolen, and with it, your powers.

WIZARD

    Arcane Lore: When you choose this subclass at 2nd level, select another casting class. Whenever you have the option to learn a Wizard spell, you can select a spell from that class’ spell list. You may only select one spell list to select from and they become Wizard spells for you.

I hope this was fun for you guys. And if any of these suggestions really sound interesting, I might just turn them into proper Homebrew posts. I’ve already covered the Love Domain Cleric, so I’m not opposed to covering others in the future. Which ideas were your favorites, and are there some that you’d love to try and use in a future campaign?

Based on this post from @fangirl-616 I end up starting working on a AU it looks like.

No prophecy AU.

As stated in the post there is no green ninja prophecy. Which leads to Misako not abounding Lloyd. Misako is actually a decent enaght mom here. A very busy one cuz she has to feed her and Lloyd and as an archeologist they move around ninjago a lot but at least the is there.

Lloyd still is a little lonely shit at the begening tho. He really doesnt likes Wu for sending his dad away. He just wants to have a full family. And like in canon his stupid little brain thought that being evil and going on his dad footsteps will somehow help.

He opens serpentine thumbs. He gets tricked by Pythor. But when Pythor ditches him (which would go a bit difrently then in canon cuz school but am not sure how yet) instead to go with Wu he goes back to Misako.

Not sure how stuff would go then cuz Damn is Lloyd such a big part of those seasons and Garmadon motivations. I was considering ditching those season all together but I want for Lloyd to hate snakes in this AU and I have a decent reasoning right here so.

Garmadon after Serpentines get rid of him doesnt end up on the dark island or however it called. Generally let's throw throw the window the whole overlord thing.

After Lloyd and Misako find Garmadon, Lloyd is really excited and he wants his dad back. But both Garmadon and Misako agree that it will be best if Garm doesnt stay. Which is really heartbreaking for Lloyd and he did cry a ton.

Lloyd just lost his dad once again. He decided that maybe if he will be evil and stronger then dad will come back. That maybe they could become a whole family again! Dad never had a problem with Misako being the way she is so it must be that Lloyd is not evil enaght! So he will change it!

He run away from home on his quest to get more evil. He goes to Chen. His dad did study at Chen so it was only logical. And he knew from his moms stories about his dad that Chen wasn't a good guy either.

Chen welcomes him with open arms when Lloyd asks him to teach him how to be evil and how to fight. Tbh Chen practically adopts him 'cuz why not. And Skylor becomes his big sis (similar how Kai become his big bro in canon).

With some time they discover (it was probably Skylor tbh) that Lloyd is also an elemental master. Which wasn't really that surprising taking his heritage. He does his best to master those skills too. (also his weapon of choice is a staff cuz it is super cool, Garmadon uses it sometimes and I was watching Monkie kid recently)

So when after many years Tournament of Elements happens Lloyd is trully an evil warrior. He goes to Tutnament some as Skylor. And he really wants to kick ninjas buts. And Wus. That's what they deserve right?

I havent thought out how ToE would go exacly. Which Lloyd really hating snakes he really woudnt want to become a Serpentine, Anacondrite at that! So he probably got manipulated by Chen in some way or another to help him with his plan. Maybe Chen promised to help somehow with Garmadon. But after the shit goes down Lloyd agrees for a short lived alliance with Ninja cuz he really doesnt want for his dad and his sis to become snakes (and possibly him if he did get the tattoo).

After defeating Chen Lloyd decides to go on his own but he still keeps in touch with Skylor. Her noodles are the best on his opinion. He probably should also go visit his mom cuz she havent seen him in a while. Wait. What if in the mean time Wu and Misako got a thing going? That would piss Lloyd so much XD

Also I can see a one sided greenflame potential? Like Lloyd getting a small crash on Kai and Kai getting a crush on Skylor. Lloyd is a little shit to Kai cuz "How you dare flirt with my sis" but Skylor is aware that Lloyd has a crush on Kai and she doesnt want to hurt her baby bro feeling. So yea. It's a mess. About ages I thought something along 15/16 and 19/20 while the ToE. Not much really happens at that point in time tho but it could have potential for later. Also flustered no-prophecy Lloyd is cute XD Maybe with time passing Lloyd could warm up to ninja and Kai and stuff. Or maybe he won't! Who knows.

Random mythology idea I ranted about earlier

Ok so there’s a bunch of gods, right? Sort of like the Greeks in that they all have overlapping titles but are notable for one thing. There’s a heavenly court and an emperor, formerly ruled by the dragon king. When he kicks the bucket all the other gods fight over who gets to be the next emperor and that’s all I got.

The only common thread is that they’re all furry bait like Egyptian gods. There’s a snake who’s the goddess of medicine and potions, a monkey who’s in charge of mischief and cleverness (no monkie kid is totally not taking over other facets of my life why do you ask), a lion of war, ox of agriculture, yada yada

I don’t even know why I’m saying this it’s been awhile since I vomited any of my own stuff

MiSaTzu and triplets go on a trip to the zoo~ —🍊

“baby bags?”

“check.” sana answered mina’s question.

“snacks?”

“inside their bags.” sana nodded.

“saki’s dinosaur?”

“inside her arms.”

“sippi cups?”

“already with them.” sana leaned over and checked on the three girls who were all strapped into their stroller with their sippi cups full of cold water. “and you put sunscreen on them before we left.”

“alright then.” mina finally smiled after going through her triplet checklist. “let’s go inside. tzuyu you have the tickets right?”

“right here.” tzuyu held the paper tickets up. “and i brought a baby carrier in case they fight and don’t want to be so close together or something.”

“good idea, but we did put sae in the middle, she keeps saya and saki in line.” sana giggled, making sure the camera strap around her neck was secure before pushing the stroller with the girls in it. they went through security pretty easily and the girls all marveled at the big metal detectors around them, causing their parents to laugh at them. once inside saki immediately made her excitement known, as the first they saw when they walked in was the monkey exhibit.

“monkey!” saki had moved on from food to animals in learning hour, so they knew this trip was going to be full of saki screaming animal names everytime she recognized one.

“that’s right sweetie, those are monkeys.” sana giggled.

“mommy out.” saki whined, trying to escape her stroller.

“you have to hold mama’s hand if we let you out.” tzuyu informed.

“yeah we don’t want you running off.” mina added.

“okay. out. monkey!” saki yelled as tzuyu bent down and unstraped her. tzuyu put her down on the ground and grabbed her hand, walking her closer to the monkey exhibit.

“saya sae do you two want to look at the monkeys a bit closer?”

“yes!” saya answered. sae reamained quiet and was staring at the monkeys. sana was sure if the look on sae’s face was fear or wonder. she pushed the stroller a bit closer so saya and sae both got a better look. saki had already pressed her face up to the glass, trying to get the monkeys attention.

“saki-chan no.” mina tried to pull saki’s face away from the class. “do you know how many germs are on the glass?” saki whined and kept her forehead and hands on it, watching the monkeys play around with wonder.

“that’s how you and saya play.” tzuyu teased saki.

“yup, you two are a couple of monkeys.” sana giggled.

“monkey!” saki yelled when one of the monkies came closer to her.

“orange!” saya yelled when she saw what color the monkey was.

“yes honey the monkey is orange.” sana giggled. “can you say monkey saya? mon-key.”

“monkey?” saya asked, tilting her head to the side at the new word.

“yeah honey, that is a monkey.” sana explained.

“orange.” saya responded.

“orange monkey.” sana nodded.

“orange monkey!” saya giggled.

“monkey bye bye.” saki waved as the monkey started to walk away. tzuyu smiled at how cute saki was before grabbing her hand again. mina was already ready with baby wipes to wipe of saki’s face where it had touched the glass display.

“saki-chan do you want to walk for a bit?” sana asked.

“yes.” saki responded. “with mama.”

“okay love, you can walk with your mama.” sana nodded, strapping saki’s purple dinosaur into her seat in the stroller. they move onto the safari animals next, saki falling in love with the elephants and saya loving the giraffes. sae still looks a bit timid and they gather it’s probably because the animals were too big they scared her. they kept her away from the lion exhibit, sana picking her up and taking her over to a bench to wait while mina took saya and saki to look at the lions.

“sae no lion?” saki asked when they got back.

“the lions would have scared sae-chan.” sana explained. “she doesn’t like the big animals like you and saya do.” sana adjusted sae on her lap so she could stand up with her. sae held onto her as she looked at the giraffes one more time. sae had been getting more and more timid as she got older. they had quickly realized she probably had some of mina’s shyness, and mina knew better than anyone it was the worst when she was little. she tried to push sae the best she could but she knew there wasn’t much they could do about sae’s timidness.

sana kept sae in her arms and mina pushed the stroller that just had saya in it to the next exhibit. sae seems a lot better since the next animals are penguins, and penguins are much smaller.

“mama what?” saki asked tzuyu. saki had given up on walking a while ago, her little legs couldn’t get very far without getting tired, so tzuyu had decided to carry her for the time being.

“those are penguins saki-ya.” tzuyu explained. “look they look like ka-san.”

“ka-san penguin?” saki asked.

“yup.” tzuyu laughed at her daughters question.

“hey i’m not a penguin.” mina pouted.

“you just walk like one.” sana joined in the teasing. “hey i think sae really likes them.” sae had completely come out of her shell that she had retreated into with the bigger animals and looked happy as she watched the penguins play. “do you like them sae-chan?”

“like.” sae nodded. “like penguins.”

“that’s good, let’s look at them closer.” sana room sae closer to the exhibit and sae put both hands on the glass like saki was doing and stared at the group of penguins. the worker who was taking care of the penguins noticed the two little girls staring and waved, grabbing a bit of food and getting all the penguins to eat. sae giggled when they are, clearly amused by the penguins. “okay. this was a good experience for her.”

“i agree. i was worried she was going to be scared the whole time.” mina smiled at sae, who had a huge smile on her face.

“mama penguin hi!” saki waved at some of the penguins, prompting tzuyu to do it too. tzuyu laughed and joined her daughter the waving.

they spent the longest at the penguin exhibit, much to saya’s dismay. they wouldn’t let her out of the stroller for fear of her running off. she had done it before, and they didn’t want to deal with a lost 20 month old baby in a giant zoo.

they next go to the tiger exhibit, sana once again taking sae somewhere to the side while saya and saki watched the giant tigers.

“tiger roar!” saki laughed when one of the tigers let out a loud sound. “roar!”

“roar!” saya joined in the noise making and tzuyu and mina laughed at both of them.

sana had taken sae close to the ice cream vendor and so sae instnatly became intrested in the ice cream when she saw it.

“want some sae-chan?” sana asked.

“yes.” sae answered, staring at the ice cream. sana giggled and approached the vendor, ordering her a tiny chocolate ice cream. sana helped her eat it while they waited and soon saya and saki were back.

“ice cream!” saki yelled when she saw her sisters ice cream. “mama ice cream!”

“sana you got her ice cream?” mina asked with a sigh.

“she wanted it. plus if she eats it now her sugar high will be over right when we leave.” sana shrugged.

“well now we need to get saya and saki ice cream. i’ll go get it. saya likes vanilla and saki likes strawberry right?”

“if they have it saki likes peach or mango more.” sana answered. “thanks tzuyu-ya.” tzuyu nodded and passed saki over to mina, who put her on her hip so she could use her free hand to grab saki’s water.

“drink some water saki.” mina prompted, saki needing both of her tiny hands to drink from the sippi cup. saki gave her cup back to mina once she was done and mina secured it in the drink holder. “sae should drink some water too.”

“on it.” sana grabbed sae’s yellow sippi cup and handed it to the girl, sae having chocolate all over her face. sae happily drank some water before sana took it back and put it back. she then went back to feeding sae her ice cream, tzuyu coming over with the other girls sweet treats.

“okay, vanilla for sae and peach for saki.” tzuyu handed the ice cream out, sitting on the bench again and letting mina give her back saki. saki happily ate her ice cream, delighting in the west fruity ice cream. saki loves fruit, so they had no difficulty getting her to eat anything with fruit in it. saya ate from the stroller, mina giving her small bites with the plastic spoon and making sure she didn’t drip anything on her.

after the girls had all finished their ice cream and mina had cleaned all their sticky faces they moved onto the bird exhibit. the girls were too young to go i tot he interactive bird area so they just looked from afar. the girls weren’t the biggest fans of the birds though since they were harder to see and more elusive, so they didn’t spend much time there before moving onto the reptile exhibit. sana hated the reptile area but continued because she wanted her daughters to see it, even if it scared her. saya loved the iguanas, giggling at their goofy appearances and long tongues. sae likes the turtles, loving watching them swim around. saki for the first time seems a bit timid and they realize she probably doesn’t like reptiles just like sana didn’t. saki nearly starts crying around the snakes, so they move on quickly. next the go to the pandas and all the girls love them. sae seems okay with the because they looked like one of her stuffed animals. saki evens gets on of the pandas close to her, sana getting a picture of saki with the pandas. she had been quietly taking pictures throughout the zoo trip, she had got some with the girls at the beginning with the giraffes, monkeys, and elephants, and she had got some with sae and the penguins. she had trusted mina and tzuyu to get pictures of the girls when the tigers and lions, and when sana checked her phone she saw a video from mina of saki and saya screaming the word roar at the tigers. she smiled and sent it to chaeyoung with a teasing message.

after the pandas the girls are all starting to loose their energy. they quickly go to the red pandas and the seals before deciding the girls were done. saya was already asleep in the stroller and sae and saki were both half asleep. by the time they got back to the car, sae and saki were already fast asleep. saki, who had her face in tzuyu’s neck right where her scent gland was absolutely refused to let go of tzuyu in her sleep. tzuyu sighed and with the help of sana she was able to get saki into her car seat, tzuyu having to stay in the back and hold her hand the whole way home.
