ladybug huffed, quite literally backed into a corner by her superhero partner. after defeating gabriel agreste, the two of them had a lot more time on their hands to just hang out like normal teenagers. with no supervillains to fight, adrien and marinette would agree to just transform and meet up, and whether that involved sparring together or just sitting on the eiffel tower, it honestly depended on the day.

nevertheless, sometimes, the two lovebirds would be hit with playful moods. more specially, a certain green-eyed, pun-telling feline.

chat noir shrugged. “well, it was worth a try,” he hummed, before grabbing ladybug’s wrists with one hand and shaping his other into a claw. he relished in the anticipatory giggles his partner started letting out.

“y-you’ll rehehegret this, fleabag! lehehehemme go!”

“um. what did you just call me? yeah, you’re definitely getting it now.”

“nohoho- wahahait! CHAHAHAT!”

cute, heroic giggles were heard all through paris that night.

Watched Miraculous Ladybug (I’m not up to date with it but I can’t find the rest of the episodes anywhere) and have some obvious opinions. —

Yes, yes, of course all the kids get into tickle fights. The girls all get into silly teasing tickle fights where everyone’s having fun and it’s supposed to be jokey.

The boys’ tickle fights are to the death. Last man standing. This is a group torture session. Run.

Thr first time Adrien was dragged into one of these tickle fights he was absolutely overwhelmed as he did not know he was fighting for his life and everyone saw an easy target.

Marinette has the squeakiest, highest pitched squealing laugh ever. Only dogs can hear her laugh.

Alya is a very big fan of giving tickle hugs.

Chat Noir does like scritches under his chin but it is a battle between pulling away from the slight tickle and leaning into it.

His cat ears actually feel sensation and so are in fact ticklish. It’s just that no one has discovered this yet.

Ladybug gets waaaay more flustered from tickling in her suit as she thinks it’ll tickle more. It doesn’t, she just feels like she has less protection.

The Kwamis have definitely attacked her with unintentional tickles before.

Luka has the loudest and most obnoxious laugh so everyone targets him as it’s such a contrast.

Adrien would never tell a soul this but his fondest memories with his mum are from her tickle games. Not much physical affection in the family so he always treasured this. Little piggies, tickling him awake for lessons, round round the teddy bear.

I’ll have to post if I come up with more!

okay despite me hating on mlb for how they butchered the series' plot bad, I'm still kickin and gigglin over the halloween special LIKE

SPOILERS AHEAD!!

man, the alternate universe's characters slap in every bum. The role reversal with adrien and gabrielle, with how gabrielle was more accepting of his wife's lose while adrien was stuck on his mother's death and he hated his father for moving on. This dynamic made more sense in my opinion because adrien, a teenager, a boy who lost a mother-figure when he was young, would be bitter about the loss, not knowing how to cope yet with certain emotions and seeing his father who looked moved on already amplified it further because in this sense, it made him lonelier. Gabrielle would have prob tried to talk to him but knowing how the usual mentality of people in this age goes, they would stubbornly believe and cling onto their own wishes and wants, seeing his father's act of acceptance as betrayal and already forgetting about his mom. He doesn't have the mental and emotional maturity yet to cope with the loss hence he walked down the path which was clawnoir. Unlike in the orig series where gabrielle was the one hell-bent trying to get his wife back while adrien just wanted his father to spend time with him.

I mean, it's not like this dynamic did not make sense. It's just that I saw the appeal more with the role reversed as this is how things with the lost of a family member goes. AND CAN I JUST SAY,

IT HAS THE TROPE OF MR POPULAR HAVING A CRUSH ON A NORMAL BAKER GIRL AUGHHHGHHGH it's tickling my brain in all of its weak spots I CAN'T this is just so cute honestly

that act of "admiring you in a distance" is so 😩😩 PLEASE WE COULD HAVE SEEN MORE but then in their masked forms, it's "I'll punch your face the moment I get an opportunity" they fight so badly it's not even what you can say a banter, they fight with raw emotions that scrapes your ears like chalk scratching on a board exactly just like teens who are going through a lot and the moment they revealed their identities, there was a hint of comfort that clawnoir awkwardly tried to portray because in the end, he realized, they were just two people underneath the mask who have rough things they're going through, added the fact that emo!marinette said she'd wish to replace marinette of this universe just so she could experience the good things here (of course it's also the fact that she's his crush which was another major factor to consider but I wanna pretend that the former is the explanation for angst factor xd)

they literally had this enemies to lovers trope going on, partners who are only forced to cooperate by a higher rank but could care less about the other. Can I just say that the emo!duo had more character arc than our mains for so many seasons? In this little flashbacks and small trinkets of what happened in their world, we are able to see more depth to their characters and progression to their plot. If only we could have focused more on the emo au, I would have jumped right into that ship to sail me away! Instead, we got an ending that focused on the actual au that we have. LIKE I DO NOT GIVE AF! Would give anything to see about the father-son angst of the emo au instead, like imagine, having to see that you've been fighting your son all along and because gabrielle, being the way that he is, would be crushed knowing that his actions are partly responsible for his son's path to darkness

also, I wanna tackle about emo!marinette's, when she said

that means that these two never have been formally introduced but she showed her frustration about adrien agreste being a menace and arrogant. Meanwhile, adrien only talked about specifically being mean to nino. But it's prob a chloe-marinette dynamic with adrien being stuck up to everyone but only targeting nino specifically. That's why shadybug groaned when hearing adrien agreste despite having no one-on-one interaction with him because as we saw, he became timid when he saw her identity. There would be no way he'd harm her theoretically. He may have struck a conversation with her sure, but considering his already-bad reputation, emo!marinette would have thought of him as a bully much like chloe, knowing they're childhood friends and would want as much to avoid him (this is literally what happened in s1e1 with adrien trying to remove the gum off marinette's seat that chloe did) emo!marinette is basing it off on two-peas-in-a-pod friendship, plus with what he did to emo!nino, no doubt marinette would see it that way.

also! I just wanna add that what if, what if the emo!adrien is dressed like we see him as is because of marinette who took on the emo aesthetic (if we did not include the halloween special vibe lmao), he did that style in order to get close to her and to have some ground topic to start a conversation. People tend to stick with people of the same interests after all.

man, there's more I wanna say about this halloween special but let's leave it at that for today. I also wanna hear what you guys think about this special episode? Because honestly, there's so much potential for this au and the fics AUGHHH THE FICS JUST IMAGINE

“…if that clock says anything before six thirty, Couffaine, I am dumping your ass,” Marinette grumbled, batting at Luka and scrunching her face up as the scratchy hairs of his not-quite-really-a-beard-yet tickled against her cheek. He smiled and caught her hand, squeezing her fingers as he pressed a kiss against her cheek anyway. “If it’s three, I’m fucking murdering you.”

…he had to admit: he did have a bad habit of that.  Waking her up at three AM.

God, he loved her. She was usually more...refined, leaving the grumpy swearing for the Boat Kid he was, but when she was tired and cranky and he was waking her up at…he winced when he glanced at the phone on the bedside charger and saw that it was, in fact, three o’clock in the morning.

Ah well. Death by Marinette would be a hell of a way to go.

I wrote this in my headcanons for ladynoir but I am absolutely CONVINCED that when ladybug needs a tear of joy for her power up potions she just tickles the living shit out of cat noir

Also master fu said that a tear of joy is needed for almost every blend so thats something to think about

i imagine it would go something like this

“well y’know me, i’d never give up an opportunity to make you cry with laughter~” she teases smoothly, quickly getting to work on scribbling her nimble fingers all over his poor, sensitive torso.

the tear eventually came out by the way. the spot where his underarms meet his ribs is a killer.

A discovery I made rewatching Multiverse of Madness that tickles the sports fan in me!

Around the first attempt 616 Wanda makes to dream walk into 838 Wanda, the twins are having a heated baseball discussion, during which Billy swears the greatest team of all time was “the 2003 Tigers.”

I like that Sam Raimi - a native Detroiter, mind you - might have stuck in some wishful thinking that the ‘03 Tigers won the World Series and we’re a definitively great team, to counteract the reality that the actual 2003 Detroit Tigers set an American League record for losses (119), and were one loss shy of tying the MLB single season loss record held by the 1962 New York Mets.

Maybe in 838, the Tigers got 119 wins instead? That’s my new MCU headcanon.

Pigella can use her power when someone is in a lee mood and fluster them even more

Rooster Bold's weapon is literally a quill. AND HE IS A WRITER

Caprikid's weapon is a paintbrush. AND HE IS AN ARTIST

Caprikid and Rooster Bold are the unstoppable duo that no one can take down in a tickle fight. Just imagine a soft feather-like touch on your sides only to find someone writing the word "ticklish" on them

The item used to create a sentimonster is a feather. I think we know where that escalates

Polymouse can divide herself and can attack everyone's spots all at once.

Weapons like the yoyo, skipping rope, spinning top and the bolas (Purple Tigresses' weapon) can be good for trapping people

Viperion will call everyones laughter a "harmonious and catchy rhythm that you can't get enough of"

Just picture Miss hound getting belly rubs (She's also canonically ticklish)

Minotaurox is the person to go for soft tickles (He's also canonically ticklish). He's the gentle giant that always makes sure that you are confortable

Carapace can use his power to try and protect his worst spots

King Monkey is quite the teaser.

Rena Furtive. She can watch and use people's ticklishness to her advantage as she is a spy now

People that have ears on their costume are at a disadvantage

They are all cute lees and evil lers
