I’m back! Anyway, I finally finished up the main team for the miraculous mew mew au I have been working on- Juleka and Rose are the final additions (mostly because the color schemes were the best fit). I decided to make Juleka a white tiger for contrast.

I finished watching Miraculous Ladybug Season 1. Here's my thoughts.

Man, these dumb teenagers sure are dumb teenagers!

Wow, the superhero dynamics and love square here are pretty good without being brain-nailing. I hope no cool characters are introduced in season 2 that are a thousand times better for Marinette.

Chloe and Sabrina is toxic yuri except Chloe is a lesbian in denial. Look at how she fawns over Adrien yet shows no language of love as if being with Adrien is more of a symbol of status if anything, not to mention her absolute love of Ladybug.

Also Alya is more chill than what the salters made me expect. Maybe things go horribly wrong in later seasons.

I was fully expecting Juleka to be my favorite character. I was wrong. It was Rose. She is the absolute cutest. The eeby deeby. I want to be a parental/big sister figure to her. I still like Julie, though. And Nathaniel. And most characters, really.

Reminds me. Reflekta is just as bad, if not worse, than I thought. Just give Juleka a bunch of lights and the ability to shoot light lasers that make people constantly look at her or at the very least throw in a small line that implies she's interested in joining the circus. Disrespectful.

On the subject of acting like I can influence Marinette, tell your parents you're a superhero. If anyone needs to know, it's them.

Also Chloe would jump off a cliff for Ladybug. Tell her you know what's going on at school and that the Ladybug way is to not bully or be mean to people so that less Akumas happen and Chloe can grow and develop as a character.

Anyways, I'm excited for season 2!

I believe that when Marc isn’t akumatized or as rooster bold he has a fear of heights due to well after what happened after Reverser.

I have no idea where the plot of this starts but I do know that after this video. Caprikid walks over the railings, leans his head out just a bit and looks up to see Pigella holding Marc by the wrist like Volpina with the illusion Adrien. The goat hero of course begins to worry about his partner as he can see it from the boy’s face of fear. “Lower him down slowly but don’t drop him.” Caprikid tells the hero in pink. His idea was for her to lower Marc just a bit till he can grab him and bring him onto the platform safely.

Redesign of Pigella! (and Rose too kinda)

I think Pigella's concept design is absolutely adorable! I wanted to push the ballet motif a bit more along with adding more pig elements. I drew inspo from sugar plum fairy designs and Princess Tutu, as seen in the petals, sparkly cape, and curly strings. The strings specifically are meant to look like a pig's tail, same with the hair (i mean, they're literal pigtails). Since pigs have cloven hooves, I decided to make the slippers look kinda cloven. As for the colors, I thought that too much pink would make the design monotonous, which is where the blue comes into play. Rose already has blue eyes, so why not extend it to the pearls on her dress, her hair accessories, and the tambourine. I do think she's the most detailed out of all the redesigns I've done, so If she was actually in the show, I'd prob remove all the sparkles and the gradient on the bottom of her skirt.

- luka already considered rose a member of the family before her and juleka even made things official. like he just knew.

- since he already knew, he also tried to avoid being around whenever juleka and rose were outside of rehearsals because come on get together already..

- once they finally do he’s ecstatic for both of them

- luka loves being friends with his sisters gf because not only is she just sweet but he can also just drop clever hints about how they’re feeling to one another if they’re ever having an issue (very rare but still)

- rose goes to luka for approval on whatever gift she gives juleka before she does. they both already know juleka would like it but where’s the harm in a second opinion

- outside of when they talk about juleka they also just get along really well

- rose is the more hyperactive one while luka is the mellow one. he’s just happy to listen while she talks tbh

- rose tries to keep it to topics that luka can relate to or likes so that he can talk when he wants to too!! sometimes she gets sidetracked on something else but he doesn’t mind
