it makes me so happy that the pjsk fandom is willing to explore trans themes in the way that they are, especially with mizuki

im so glad that people feel comfortable making art of them both pre- and post-transition and can freely headcanon silly little things regardless of what part of the timeline is being discussed. im very used to trans characters’ agab being a topic too “taboo” to bring up so it really is a breath of fresh air.

its a similar case with characters widely hc’d as trans, like mafuyu or sometimes rui. regardless of how they’re drawn to present themselves, there’s so much acceptance (at least on the side of fandom ive seen) and i really sincerely hope this continues into the future

i dont currently experience much dysphoria outside of my deadname and when my pronouns are used incorrectly, but in my younger years of being nonbinary i absolutely did. and while i do wish id never been raised to be a girl, and i have always hated conforming to norms of ‘girlhood,’ there are still parts of myself that i identify with from my childhood. and it makes me so, so glad that mizuki’s full identity is being explored so openly in a way that resonates with me and, im sure, a lot of other people.
