You know, the idea of the kwami's true forms being mythical creatures is actually a really cool and clever idea.

It's one that makes the most sense. Across various cultures, everyone has mythology relating to animals. Some range from common animal but it's big, like Fenrir is a big wolf.

Others are same animal but there's something mystical about it. Like the phoenix is usually portrayed as an eagle but it's also been vague bird that's fiery and is always reborn through flames. Unicorn and Pegasus are horse but with horn and wings respectively (though some unicorns do have hooves of goat and at ail of a lion). Or the kitsune which is a fox but has many tails, and there's the Finnish firefox that create the Aurora Borealis.

While others are a mix of various animals. Iconic dragons often boil down to snake/lizard with bat wings. And it happens to be tied to elemental power.

And this idea can play into creative flexibility for kwamis and their origins. Cause I don't know how canon the comics are or if they even should be counted as canon, I know a lot accept it as so as that's the only origins on kwamis and Miraculous thus far; but if people are up for more creative/different origins, you could do that kwamis did exist as mythical creatures. Playing into the idea that humans were endangered by what was magical and magic was rare for them, one of the best ways to combat magic is with magic. East to west, often a lot of stories about combating a magical threat is to have something or someone magical too.

It could be a mage or mages approached these fantastical creatures and offered them a deal: immortality and power for servitude and assistance of humanity. Cause Miraculous are meant to be used for good, and Origins implies it was against threats that humanity couldn't face as they were.

So kwamis existing not as cosmic beings but actual powerful creatures that lived on earth for eons and accepted the offer for immortality and power for servitude, can work well. And they take on a more "humble" form, not just as these little beings that you can easily carry around and hide in public as needed, but also could back them appearing as common animals. And this way, if kwamis really let their power lose, you're shaken seeing some big kaiju/mythical creature ready to let it all lose.

It could work off kwamis being all over the place morally or how they interact with humans. Some eagerly accepted because they wanted that immortality and power, some wanted to genuinely help humans, and some could've been tricked and thus would slower to warm up to humans.

Only thing is that this may not roll well with kwamis being embodiment of concepts, though arguably that could be for the better.

I finally started watching MLB Season 5 last night, finished episode 2, Destruction. And I've got a question... So, Hawkmoth/Monarch turned miraculouses into dust... But shouldn't such damage lead to the unimaginable corruption of both the miraculous and kwami? 😶 If even a small crack on Duusu's miraculous was kinda big deal before.

I could think of one way miraculous tied to multiple cultures and it involves taking some stuff from specials and tweaking the preexisting lore (which given the preexisting lore is already bad or non-existent isn't that big of a deal). Since the special confimed the existence of things similar to miraculous, maybe the mage referenced in the comics was the one responsible for creating specifically the Chinese miraculous. Maybe mages from other continents created their own versions of the miraculous. Since kwamis (and other being similar to kwamis like Renglings) exist long before the miraculous maybe and likely have been all over the earth, they could have communicated with these mages telepathically or through dreams (which could be how the mage found out about the kwamis in the first place) to help them find a way to the mortal plane.

Yeah something like that would work. Especially as it is baffling that one mage made hundreds of Miraculous for all over the world and they can, largely, work off various different cultures and views on animals.

So there being different people making stuff I like a lot more. Even so as my ideas for lore changes and plausible reasons on how Miraculous came to be, my core idea is multiple people from different lands coming together to craft them, as humanity is threatened by the magic of the world.

“If you don’t mind me asking…” Nadja shockingly spoke up “…why don’t you go after Marinette by yourself?”

The question had the five corrupted Miraculous holders pausing. Mistress Tigress stared at the interviewer with wide eyes and Nadja felt like she was staring into the eyes of a monster. She scanned the reaction of the other villains, the fox villainess was shocked at the question but lost interest and went back to playing with Ladybug’s hair. The turtle didn’t even look up from the iPad, but the horse and the newcomer, the monkey, all froze.

Nadja decided to try again, “It’s just that there are now five of you…” still no reaction from the other two but the tiger began to show a hint of reaction so Nadja was going to keep pushing. “…and I don’t exactly know how powerful your Miraculouses are but I figured if you’re Akumatized then you must be really powerful…” she paused for a second, the monkey was now staring at her no longer messing with the tiger who was still cuddled up to Ladybug.

Ladybug and Chat Noir were looking at her like she was crazy, the fact that they didn’t know anything about what would happen if a Miraculous holder was Akumatized was already bad enough but Nadja enticing them and trying to get more information out of the Akumas was worse. Ladybug shook her head no to Nadja, she didn’t want anymore of the Miraculouses secrets revealed it was only going to help Hawkmoth in the end. But Nadja was a reporter and this was a big opportunity for her to get more information on the Miraculous and the future.

“…So why don’t you go after her yourselves?” she smiled a kind smile to the Akumas and waited for an answer or better…a reaction

“Hmm no thanks I like living.” The monkey said as he played with the tigers hair, the tiger smacked the monkey in the face, “Yeah I like not being hunted down and being tricked into traps like a wild rabbit, so that’s a no.” The tiger cuddled back up to Ladybug and the fox stopped braiding Ladybugs hair to look Nadja dead in the eyes but said nothing, “With how cunning Marinette is? No way.” The monkey piped up.

“That wouldn’t be a wise idea.” The horse Akuma added in but didn’t look at her like the others, Nadja was curious now, it would be great if the fox and turtle said something as it seems they knew a lot more than the others. “If we went to find Marinette on our own separately she would pick us off one by one.” The turtle finally spoke, his eyes showing no lie as he crossed his arms. “She may have been revealed to be Marinette but she’s still Ladybug, the holder of creation …she’s been fighting Akumas for 23 years.” The fox pointed out.

Nadja blinked, “23 years?” She parroted in disbelief that the 13 year-old Ladybug in front of her had committed to fighting Akumas for 23 years. Was future Marinette really that scary? Was future Marinette really that dangerous? “Besides Marinette is the Miraculous Guardian, she’s bound to the very Miraculouses that we all wear she’ll know how to take us down.”

Ladybug and Chat Noir looked shocked

Nadja was even more curious, “Bound? Bound to what? I thought the Miraculouses were just pieces of jewelry that turn you into superhero’s?”

Kitsune Rouge smiled a toothy grin, “To the 19 gods that reside in the Miraculouses of course!”

Nadja eyes went wide, “Gods?!”

“Gods” Kitsune Rouge smiled, “You didn’t really think that the Miraculouses were just pieces of jewelry that you put on and boom you’re a superhero! Do you?”

The Akumas laugh, “Oh Nadja, inside the Miraculous reside Gods, powerful Gods, Gods that were enslaved and trapped in these pieces of jewelry.”

Nadja gulps, fear now clawing at her brain as she realizes what she fears or yet doesn’t believe.

“That means…”

“That means that Marinette Dupain-Cheng is more powerful than you could ever imagine.”

it’s basically a human au where Hunter is a transfer student at hexide and Edric is like one of the popular kids. So on the first day when Edric saw Hunter he was like “woah…” but he’s a bit too intimidated so he didn’t approach hunter.

But then it was raining after school and Ed doesn’t have an umbrella so boom the umbrella scene™️. Then slowly they became really close friends.

The Supreme and the Order of the Guardians

The Supreme symbol that appears over the Special ressembles the Order of the Guardian symbols. In fact, it feels like a corruption of the original symbol.

Due to its similiraties, we can assume that the Order did get corrupted from within in that parallel universe timeline.

The lore shared ressembles how the Order proceeded before it got destroyed due to Fu's mistake. Hidden secret order. Miraculous aren't a common knowledge either.

To me, it feels like the Order never collapsed in that world. The Peacock and the Butterfly never got lost. Hesperia mentionned he stole them from the Supreme. Not found them.

No, it feels most likely that someone -- the Supreme -- managed to re-organize the Order into some hierarchical system with elites in position of power as his pawns and subordinates.

Also, it would appear that the Supreme didn't just rewrite the Order, but control the access to Gimmi's power.

"Only the Supreme can defines reality. Reality is the Supreme".

Meaning that in this world Hesperia, Toxinelle and Griffe Noire are from is a reality purely constructed by the Supreme's wishes who got hand on both the Black Cat and Ladybug's Miraculous.

Tikki and Plagg being muted by a symbol of the Supreme while it is not the case with Nooroo means either the Supreme took extra precaution with Tikki and Plagg specifically OR that spell is put by the Supreme before handing out Miraculous to his selected minions. It could be that Gabriel was able to remove the muting spell for Nooroo if all Kwamis are muted, but I'm not so sure. That feels outside of Gabriel's abilities and knowledges in that universe.

One last thing.

The Hesperia's op depicts him surrounded by eight symbols of the Supreme. Eight heads. Or eight families loyal to the Supreme that are after bringing Hesperia down. With Toxinelle and Griffe Noire as extra agents.
