Ladynoir Dating Dynamic Headcanons

Ladybug is always griping about how annoying and silly Chat Noir is. He replies by saying "aww, you know you love me" and she'll stop, smile, and say "Yeah, I do." It gets him and makes him blush every time because he's not used to being loved, yet alone so openly

Whenever they're walking down the street together, Ladybug will walk backwards so she can face Chat. She'll start rambling about something (fashion, trees, her day, how cute her boyfriend is, anything) passionately and lose track of her surroundings. Cue Chat Noir reminding her to watch out for pedestrians and gently steering her around lampposts

Ladybug is a chronic blusher. Chat Noir flirts with her? blush. Chat Noir hugs her? blush. Kisses her? more blush. She sees him, doing absolutely nothing in particular? blush. Someone literally just mentions him? blush.

Ladybug is always referring to Chat Noir as hers. Her kitty, her partner, her boyfriend. She's very open about how much she loves him

Chat Noir opens doors, offers her his hand to help her stand up, fetches things for her, pulls out chairs, etc at every opportunity. always a gentleman

Whenever they're sitting next to each other, they'll start out sitting apart and by the end they'll be in each other's laps

They try the spider man style kiss at Chat Noir's request and completely botch it the first time

Their first kiss together is extremely clumsy and awkward but in the moment it doesn't matter because they're just happy to finally get to be in love with each other

Every time they get Andre's ice cream together, they buy Mr. Ramier a cone if possible because of all the times he got them ice cream after he was akumatized

At first everyone is like "awww!! they're finally dating!" pretty soon though, they're more like "okay okay WE GET IT YOU'RE IN LOVE"

Ladybug is actually just as silly and just as much of a flirt as Chat is + she puns because every. time. he just looks so delighted

They love to race each other over rooftops; Chat Noir is faster but he lets Ladybug win because she's so cute when she's gloating

People keep giving them free merchandise of themselves so Ladybug takes the Chat Noir stuff and Chat Noir takes the Ladybug stuff

Headcanon time!! Let’s take a look at our boy, Adrien. A popular notion is that he has depression. As someone with depression, I know for a fact that depression can lead to stress and lack of sleep, which can take a toll on the body. Dark circles under the eyes are no exception. To me, Marinette 120% reads as the most confused and biggest disaster bisexual I've ever seen. Like if she could stop tunnel visioning on Adrien she would likely turn on Kagami and or Alya in a heartbeat. And Adrien too. Like he doesn't even put any thought into it since he has fucking elevator music playing up there(In the best way), but Nathalie is gonna mention how much she loved Emilie and Gabriel, and something's gonna click for him and he's gonna like run over and like kiss Luka on the cheek just to try it(Luka is chill about it, he just would have liked a warning).

But I also find it fucking hilarious to imagine Adrien and Marinette as the two token straights in the most queer classroom/friend group ever. Like you got Chloe, the bitchyest lesbian ever with Sabrina simping in her shadow, Alya and Nino bonding over their shared desire to kiss their straight best friend while also kissing each other, Rose and Juleka just kissing when no one is looking, Ms. Bustier as the older lesbian role model these baby gays need, etc. And not even in their class but you got Kagami and Luka as the two most "Yeah that works" pansexuals ever and Zoe, the closeted lesbian who was in massive need of how freeing the cat miraculous is.

Magical Beings and their Artifacts

Kwami - Kwamis are spiritual beings that are the creators of the universe, and they are the embodiments of various forces and concepts. Many kwamis have taken an interest in the life on earth, and have taken on the form of an animal to live among them.

There are four kinds of kwamis: Alphas, who are the foundation of the universe; Elementals, embodying the raw elements; Timekeepers, who control the aspects of time; and Deltas, who embody the more intricate aspects of existence.

Each time a new concept comes into being, so does a kwami, making it unknown to humans the exact number of kwamis there are in the universe, though 120 kwamis have chose to dwell on earth, like Plagg the kwami of Destruction.

Miraculous - Miraculouses are a small wearable artifact that acts as the means to bind a kwami to the physical realm, allowing them to have a body and interact with the physical world. One who wears a Miraculous can transform with the kwami if they know the right words, granting them the powers of the kwami's concept.

Due to the interference of the Order of the Guardians, kwamis are now also bound to the orders given to them by the one who holds their Miraculous. This restraining magic has turned several kwamis against humanity.

There are 120 known Miracuouses, with 117 currently on earth.

Renling - Renlings are young spiritual beings that were created by the kwami of Life in tandem with the physical advancements of earth. As such renlings are deeply connected to this planet, and each has an animal and value they have made themselves representatives of. There are thirty-two known renlings on earth, such as Long-Long the Dragon.

Prodigious - Prodigiouses are medallions that allows a mortal being to see and interact with the renlings bound to it. By embodying a trait the renling favors one is able to transform into the animal they represent. There are four known Prodigiouses, each hosting eight renlings.

Kaire - Kaires are guardian spirits created by the kwami of Life. Kaires form strong bonds with people or items, which they will dedicate their existence to protecting. Kairies can guard anything from a location, to a family, to secret knowledge, to a magical item. When a Kaires no longer have a chosen they enter deep period of mourning, and can fade if they don't find a new bond to protect.

All Kaires draw their power from a magical orb that allows them to switch between two forms, their companion form and their champion form. Their companion form is a small kwami-like being shaped like an animal, while their champion form is a much larger and more dangerous being made to fight.

Kaires can be found all around earth, though there six major Kaires that are known as the most powerful of their kind, such as Mei Shi the Lion.

Zealous - Zealouses are orbs of great magical proprieties that give Kairies their power, but that humans can also use to manipulate magic on their own. In order to use this power though but they must earn the favor of the kaires that guard and inhabit them, and become their bond. The most powerful of the Zealous are the twin Soul Gems, which were used to create and shape artifacts like the Miraculouses.

Essent - Essents are primordial energy forces that existed before the universe took shape. Pure energy that often divided into various forms of Positive, Negative, and Neutral energy. They ceased to exist with the birth of the universe from the big bang, where essents divided into what is now known as kwamis.

While divided and changed eons ago, echos of an essent can be reawakened with the mergence of Alpha kwamis. Essents once held no sense of being or self, but when merged they gain the memories of the kwamis they are formed from, giving them a means to hold knowledge and emotions, especially curiosity.

Essents are the most ancient and powerful force out there, yet the most naive. They can alter the universe at will as long as balance is maintained, with what is known as a 'Wish', but they do not fully comprehend what their actions result in. Their understanding of the universe, of other beings, and of right and wrong are of that of a child. There are many different possible mergences that can summon an essent, for example Gimmi being from the mergence of Tikki and Plagg.

Glorious - A Glorious a crystal of pure magic that is created by a temporary fusion of two Miraculouses of Alpha kwamis. This allows the manifestation of the primordial and powerful essent, who can bend the universe to the will of the one who summoned them. There are eight known Miraculouses that can create a Glorious.

Kaire = kai (怪)/yōkai (妖怪) + fairy/pixie/fae.

Essent = from the word "essence".

Marinette Headcannons

Being ladybug aside, Marinette is physically fit. Small six pack, good arm muscles, etc. Being Ladybug definitely helped but, she does gymnastics and ballet which gave her a head-start on strong muscles

She loves (/p) people who're are taller, they can grab things for her and when she's with shorter people she feels obligated to help them

@that-baker-girl is virtually ALL of Marinette's socials. But she's really only on Instagram and Tiktok

I can 100% see Mari being Bi-romantic with a Femme lean but a grey asexual

Sleep schedule? Never heard of her

Mari listens to pretty much everything, excluding Screamo and songs about death. Those types of songs remind her of her Paternal grandmother

Being born into a Baker's family means she knows how to cook and bake really well

She LOVES horror movie

During pillow fights she's usually the last one standing

She sleeps sprawled out, like arm going this way leg bent other arm over her head and her foot dangling off the edge of her bed. She sleeps everywhere.

When she's sad she goes to her mom, who makes her food.

A little thing that makes her happy is donating the clothes she's make to charity or even some of her baking

She LOVES physical touch

The only thing that really makes her cry are those sad animal ads.

She hates people being rude, especially to her parents

A shocking fact about Mari is that she listens to rap music, and can rap just as fast as the songs she listens to

Other that her biological family, one of the few people she is close to enough to consider family is Luka. He's like the brother she never had.

A bad habit of Mari's is that she doodles on her skin.

Mari is extremely photogenic but gets embarrassed when her photo is taken.

She's good at virtually everything, EXCEPT talking to people she likes ;-;

When Alya comes home from being Scarabella, she's met with the twins fighting:

on one hand, there's Ella, who's jumping around and almost knocking every single piece of furniture in the apartment pretending to be a superhero;

Since the miraculous can change hair styles/color, what's your opinion on facial hair? Can it add a mustache? Give your bearded face a clean shaved appearance? More or less identity shenanigans? =P

So i feel like between Cat Walker, Rena Furtive, and the time Marinette was Chat Noir, there's a strong case for any of those changes. I think it'd actually be pretty hard though, because it seems like it's not just a matter of wanting a different color in your suit, or even just a desire to look a certain way. Alya is clearly a different Ladybug to everyone and can't seem to change that, but when she takes on a new role in the group and has a new mindset, the costume change seems effortless.

When Adrien is working on being Cat Walker, Plagg pretty much coaches him on changing his whole mindset and personality for wearing the suit.

But provided you could somehow have the right mindset for "I need a beard", I think you could change your magic suit to give you whatever facial hair you wanted?

Miraculous Zorro AU! 🇲🇽

Okay this was actually an idea for an art piece that I came up with. But then I got too excited and decided to make a headcanon before that, like groundwork! I hope y'all enjoy!

Okay, now as for the time period I decided to go with the 1820s of Mexico, although I couldn't really think of a specific place for the AU? So let's just go with a port town or city maybe?

Also for those wondering, yes, I did take inspiration from the old Zorro movies lol. If anyone hasn't seen it I recommend it, although the sequel is kinda okay in my opinion. But the first one is better.

But anyways, going back in time, the Miraculous used to be in the hands of Mexican citizens during the 1820s. These heroes were known as La Mariquita and El Gato Oscuro, a pair of vigilantes set to stop the dastardly deeds of El Rey Pollillia. An underground crook who is known for sending out villains to do his work.

༻Characters༺

Rosita “Rosa” Sandoval is a local baker who works at her family's panadería in the middle of the city, as well as their delivery girl. While she is kindhearted and cheerful, she has a bit of an attitude. Whether it's with a customer or just anyone, she has a bit of trouble keeping to herself and doesn’t know when the right time to be honest is. This can lead to her coming off as brash at times, even without meaning to.

Enrique Aguirre is a Hispanic nobleman as well as the mayor's son. Since his father is a high political figure, Enrique does have a very formal demeanor but does his best to make others feel welcome. He has a big heart, although he can be a bit sensitive with other people. Leading him to be kind of timid. Especially about his occupation: he does not want his father's position.

Carlos Aguirre is the mayor of the city, who is also known as El Rey Pollillia. His son does not know he is a crook, but he tries his best to keep it from him.

༻Plot Line༺

When the two get their Miraculous, I had the idea of making their personalities similar to how Marinette and Adrien behave when they're superheroes. However, I added my own twist. Normally, Marinette acts a bit more confident when she is Ladybug, and the same can be said for Adrien when he is Chat Noir. Although I wanted my version of the character growth to be different since these Miraculous holders are different people.

Even though Rosa is headstrong, she learns to soften up and connect with someone close to her rather than just being “honest” with people. While Enrique learns that he has to stand up for himself in order to stand up for other people.

Because of this, I even had the idea to include the love square into the AU, but switched too lol. So to put it clearly, Rosa has a crush on her partner Gato Oscuro. Who she thinks is sweet and compassionate but also really cool. While Enrique has a crush on Rosa, who he meets at her bakery when he's trying to get away from his workload. Who he thinks is so passionate and brave.

Instead of the piano, Enrique can play the guitar! Think of Manolo from the Book of Life; I can imagine Enrique sneaking out to go play with a mariachi band somewhere! 🤣

This idea I do wanna make an art piece of this if I can find a good reference, but I can imagine Mariquita and El Gato having a sword duel upon their first meeting. Kind of how Ladybug and Chat Noir met in the movie, but more bickering lol.

Maybe they both freak out at first, thinking the other is a bad guy or some kind of villain, and they have this epic sword duel jumping off of walls and barrels! Before realizing that they're the good guys destined to stop El Pollillia.

I can also imagine Plagg having the time of his life in Mexico due to all the food and epics! Like he sneaks into the kitchen at night to steal some leftover queso or even dessert.

i like to think Marinette is really skilled at cake decorating. it's a different artistic medium but one she picks up quickly and finds very relaxing. she LOVES piping intricate designs and making realistic gumpaste flowers. it's calming to her. whenever she's stressed, Tom will ask her for her help with decorating a cake, and it instantly chills her out. she gets into the Zone.

the first time she makes Adrien a cake, he is mesmerized by the amount of detail. perfectly piped rosettes and lettering, wishing him a happy half-birthday or something of those sorts. he almost doesn't want to eat it because of how pretty it is, but they enjoy a slice together. he loves how artistic she is, and the cake tastes good too! after dating her for a few months and spending time at the bakery, he begins to become familiar with her piping style, and loves watching her make perfect droplines or buttercream roses. he thinks it's especially cute how her tongue pokes out of her mouth when she focuses. she's always showing him something new she's learned. he's aware she's amazing (his own words), yet she still always manages to surprise him.

later, when ladybug shows up to patrol with a cake to celebrate their defeat of a particularly difficult akuma, chat noir recognizes Marinette’s handwriting in the piped message on the top of the cake, and his chest warms with affection knowing ladybug purchased this cake from his girlfriend's parents' bakery.

"It's a beautiful cake," he would say, thinking of Marinette poking her tongue out as she piped the buttercream border. his love for her surely spills out in the softness of his voice, but he can't help himself. he adores Marinette!

Ladybug would be all bright smiles, beaming with pride. "Thank you," she'd respond. "I decorated it myself!"
