Looking into micropigs. Seeking to better myself by learning more about these creatures and heal from my trauma. This is going to be hard but so worth it.
i feel like she's talked a lot recently about how these were taken with her high school teacher in abandoned buildings but
WHY DOES SHE HAVE A PIG
also this one??? the whole concept is just so fascinating me like sitting high school student baby teenager gigi down as her teacher and being like ok so we're going to an abandoned and wrecked church . i need you in a wedding dress ok :) don't forget ur gloves babe
Started off 2023 going to the Mini Pig Cafe. As soon as Rie sat down 5 piglets jumped on her lap. We had such a great time today, will def go again. #mipigcafe #nopignolife #pig #piglet #minipig #piggy #micropig #mipig #osaka #マイクロブタ (at Osaka, Japan) https://www.instagram.com/p/Cm61FJuS1wO/?igshid=NGJjMDIxMWI=
In case anyone was wondering, yes, I can go from "Paul Sorvino died today" to "the need for a cross-brace on a boar spear was discovered the hard way" in a completely logical progression.
Dude mini pig cafes are the worst tourist traps I been to while in Japan. You have to book them based on how long you're staying, the food (coffee and donut) is really overpriced, and before entering you get a card explaining what micropigs are but not what the actual Cafe's living conditions are like for them. The pigs were inside a really small living room with other tourists, some of them were huge and kept pouncing on people. The staff has to be there all the time since the pigs do their business on the floor, and they swarm there to smell it while the staff cleans the mess. That was 20-30 minutes Im not getting back, not a fun experience for me or for those animals, it opened my eyes on the issue and I’m never supporting these places again after that experience
Isn’t Viv terminally online on twitter namesearching herself and all? Doesn’t she see the posts of anyone calling out these animal cafes or do any research for her trip? She should know better at her big age, the people who leave comments are either people who dont know about what happens inside those cafes (or kids, hence the tonedeafness of the Fat Nuggets comments) or simply dont care, seeing this is painful and these businesses should be shut down
Ugh. Thanks for the insight, Anon. Good to have confirmation that it's exactly as much of a nightmare as the reviews, and the general concept of "throw a bunch of pigs together in a room and charge people to sit with them and drink coffee" would suggest.
