Mercym: *looking down at his rather revealing uniform* Um... I think he wanted to fit in with the party. Tyki: Yeah- and he's just creepy as far as I can tell. Everyone: Fair. Sheril: Forget that! Let's just get this whole 14th debacle under control so we can find out what happened between him and Road- Tyki: And everyone else. Sheril: Yes... and everyone else. Wisely:... Sheril: I swear- this whole thing has been making my Noah memory go out of control. I swear- if I see or hear one more upsetting thing I'll- *pauses and takes a good look at Tyki* Tyki:... Sheril:... no. Tyki: What? Sheril: No... Tyki: What? What's wrong?! Is it Apocrypos?! Sheril: No... what've you done? Tyki: Eh? What do you mean "what've I done?" I didn't do anything. Wisely: Oh no... Tyki: What?! Wisely: How could I not notice this before? Feedler: No... No- it can't be! Sheril: Oh- just when I thought things couldn't get any worse! Devit: What're you guys talking about? Jasdero: I have no- oh no no no- we lost another one! Tyki: What're you all talking about?! What's going on?! Sheril, Feedler, Wisely, and Jasdero: You cut your hair!!!! Tyki: Oh.😑 Mercym: Oh shoot- I didn't even notice. Good for you. Devit: About dang time! You were starting to look like someone's mom. Jasdero: NOOOOOO- he looked so good with the long hair! Feedler: I even taught you a trick with your long hair-buu. Now we can't be long-hair buddies! Sheril: Oh no- what will Road think? Poor Road loved your long hair. Wisely: It was so beautiful and lush! Why would you do such a horrendous thing? Tyki: You guys are overdramatic. It was getting annoying. Someone had to keep washing it, y'know? Sheril, Feedler, Wisely, and Jasdero: *crying and hugging each other while mumbling phrases like "Tyki's beautiful hair" "My poor Road" "Why?" "We need to hold a funeral for it"* Tyki: Oh my gosh... Mercym: *sips tea* Maybe should have waited until after. Tyki: *sigh* I suppose so. Devit: In other news, Apocrypos is escaping. Everyone: *reverts back to being on guard* *Except Mercym who just sips his tea again* Devit: Also- his pants are gone. Tyki: *covering Wisely's eyes much to Wisely's confusion* Oh my g- why?!

New episode of Fundie Friday’s has me deep in remembering the songs I used to sing not only in the cult-y “nondenominational” church I briefly attended in high school but the older 2000s christian gospel rock type songs I sang as a tiny little child in my Methodist Church’s youth choir (Blessed be Your Name in particular comes to mind)

#crow rambles #it’s honestly kind of sad how deeply the church in high school fucked me up #because honestly? without that weird close brush with conservative evangelicism I’d probably still be religious #now I’m just too burnt by evangelical ‘Christian’s’ to want anything to do with the religion. the time was brief but the damage overwhelming #I honestly feel bad for the vulnerable teenager who just wanted her faith back that got hatred from people she trusted instead of acceptance #the music still goes fucking hard though #I hate how good Oceans is because like fuck Hillsong but also yeah the music could probably make me consider church again #fundie fridays #I was an acolyte in my original childhood Methodist church and I just think that detail is important #you got the light the candles on the altar before service began it was the Biggest Deal to us kids #unhinged little 9years vibrating in excitement because it was their week to control the fire #my mother had so many of the Now That’s What I Call Music christian rock cds #and Jars of Clay and MercyMe. so many CDs that I didn’t realize were Christian bands until much later

I really volunteered to be throat-punched by nostalgia when I started listening to the 2010 top 40 of Christian songs

#i listened to a lot of my local christian station as a kid #let me tell you some of these songs are immaculate #especially the NOSTALGIA. which is why i'm listening to them in the first place #it's all about the 'healing begins' by tenth avenue north #also tobymac and sanctus real #and don't get me started on casting crowns and mercyme who i can still only kinda tell apart #ooooh gotta go your love never fails is starting #hazel's real life shenanigans
