Daily Encouragement Anon! “It’s not the physical appearance of the person, but the kind of human that person is, that will make the difference in life” (J Varsha)

Rex: I know that it’s hard to move on sometimes, and there is no time limit. you do not need to move on until you’re ready.
Rex: But one day you’ll wake up and you’ll feel different. it won’t be the first thing on your mind anymore. it won’t consume everything you do. You’ll stop thinking about it during the day.
Rex: And that’s how you know you’ve made it to the other side. The minute you stop letting it affect you is the moment you’ve moved on.

Not Just A Bible Character ‘Thaddaeus’
Tumblr media
When we read our Bible, we might over look this name, but Thaddaeus was one of Jesus’ twelve disciple.
Lets read the twelve in Mark 3 verse 16 to 19:
V16: “He {Jesus} appointed Twelve To Simon, He gave the name Peter.”
V17: “and to James the son of Zebedee, and to his brother John, He gave the name ‘Boanerges’ {that is, ‘Sons of Thunder];
V18: “Andrew; Philip and Batholomew;Matthew and Thomas: James the son of Alphaeus, and THADDAEUS; Simon the Zealot”.
V19: “and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed Him”.
Read about the 12 in Matthew 10 also.
Thaddaeus {was also called Lebbaeus and Judas} seems to have been an ordinary man surrounded by great men. But He was an Apostle of Jesus, that alone set him apart for distinction himself.
Thaddaeus is only mentioned when someone says the name of all of Jesus’ disciples. He apparently did not have the personality of a Peter, or the faith of John, but Jesus used him anyway.
It is quite likely though that this is the same person as Judas son of James {not Iscariot} in Luke 6 verse 16 and Acts 1 verse 13.
Lesson we can learn from Thaddaeus life was he was called to be part of a team. He was a team player.
Bigger personality on the team did not stop Thaddaeus for doing his part in the team.
When Jesus calls us, we should worry about the personalities or abilities of others he has called. Jesus calls us just as we are to play apart in building His Kingdom.
We all get to play our part, and Our Lord and Our Friend is no respect of persons. We are all equal in Christ Jesus and His Kingdom.
Never put yourself down, because Our Lord and Our Friend sure will not.
Verse to Live by: Matthew 16 verse 24:
“Then said Jesus unto His disciples, If any man {PERSON] will come after Me, let him deny himself, and take up his {Their} cross, and follow me.”
Thaddaeus is a great example to us all, of a person that does his job, to the best of his own ability, and allows Christ Jesus to do the rest.
God Bless.
O F J.
