Finally back to my OTO stuff with the latest character: Angela Pendleton. A pretty, but super strong, cyborg lady based off Alison Pendle/Angel from my BATIM AU. TBH, as I was working on these two pictures (especially the first), I didn't really like them at first, but I went into this project with the agreement to myself that these character drawings are basically just first drafts, so I could give myself a solid idea of what the characters I'm drawing actually LOOK like; plus I plan to redraw/give them updated references in the future, after drawing them some more. Additionally, while some stuff in *both* drawings was a bit off, including her pose in the drawing of her human form, I'm actually pretty happy with how Angela turned out, especially, ironically, her human form. A beautiful lady, but one who could break you over her knee :P Also, she's the last main character to have more than one form, which is DEFINITELY going to make things easier for me going forward XD Oh yeah, by the way, I updated all the previous OTO posts with text for those who can't read them. That being said, here's the one for Angela: 'Not too long ago, we learned something about Benny's sister! Apparently she's with some lady--well, at least we know she's alright...for now. I still don't know a lot about Izzy, but I have my suspicions. And if she really is...like me and the others, and that woman is who I think she might be...well, I just hope the kid's okay...’

D.Gray Man 20 years anniversary

That's right, next 31 May 2024, D.Gray man will be 20 years old. As a celebration, I would like to do a fandom project : a redraw of the first chapter. Which mean, many artists coming together, drawing each a page of the first chapter in their own style.

The first chapter is about 55 pages long, that's a lot, so here's an interest check to see if the project would be possible !

Some things you may want to know if there is enough interest to begin the project :

This project would be free to download once finished, we're not going to sell anything from this, it will be just for fun, a tribute to the manga.

Discord will be needed to talk with each others as it's a big project

You can do whatever you want with your pages as soon as the story/dialogue are respected and the end picture is of good quality (if you do traditional). B&W, colour, scrap booking, painting, traditional... go wild!

You'll be free to choose 3 pages you would like to draw, hopefully this way, everyone will be able to do one page they want!

If we have (shockingly) way more than 50 artists interested in participating, we'll do the whole first tome!

Old fan, new fan, seasoned artists or determined beginner, everyone's welcome !

This idea came from the @conanredraw go see it if you want a better idea of the project ! The whole result isn't out yet, but it'll be soon.

And I'm fine with that I told her, and it chilled her to the bone. Well it's about time I made some fanart for this series lol. If you can't tell I enjoy drawing fluffy hair, honestly I didn't expect her to be so fun to draw. This series has been really fun to watch over the last few years and it's inspired me so much I figured it was about time I gave a sort of tribute to it <3 I thought it'd be fun to get experimental as I have been doing with more stuff I post lately, combining aspects of Ferry's art style with my own instead of trying to replicate. Overall I enjoyed working on it though I contemplated adding a bit of cell shading on top of the rendered shading for stylistic effect. Maybe I'll reblog if I try cell shading on top, who knows. Sorry, I ramble quite a bit, anywayy..

About the rewrite...

I was considering whether or not to post it publicly, on one hand, suspense would be nice, on the other.... It's actually helpful when I get the occasional input from somebody else because more often than I liked to, I have blindspots and end up being too biased to a character (cough Trellis cough), so a different pov would be nice. Public it is methinks.

I'm working on a comic rn, so compiling my concepts to share may take AFTER I finish it. Which may take a while. But I got a very solid outline of where the story would go, the parameters, the gist. That said, I don't think I'll ever draw it as a comic, maybe I'd do scenes or two, heck, I'm not even sure if I should write it as a fic because it may end up being a different story. Who knows. But I will type it out what I could. But honestly, if I was paid for it, I'd redraw Amulet from scratch lmao.

Another in all honesty, I'm struggling to not only to balance the focus which characters should have and how much focus they should have, I also have to make sure that it's either a.) actually related to the overall theme, b.) pushes their character growth or development c.) pushes the plot d.) actually expands the world. Easy for major players except Navin, a HUGE struggle for the minor ones. Yeah I might need help in that.

I would also throw in some supplementary material that would likely not be a huge focus of the story, but def helps build up the worldbuilding in the rewrite, like how the EK came to power, what's the stones actual nature are, precursors, the works.

I already told a good chunk of it to someone on IG, and they helped me think critically and ask some questions that I haven't thought about but needed answering, hence the choice to make it public and semi-collaborative.

Hopefully, the reception to my ideas are warm 🫡

General - I wanted to make another self-indulgent prompt list this year for OC-tober so I did :3 - If you do feel like following along, remember that your health, comfort and motivation come first! First, I guess, is talk about the characters individually

Kel. This guy:

he is an absolute ball of sunshine, silly little guy, love him. Tall boi. This guy's TALL. He plays basketball. Does he have ADHD? Most likely! Is he a little stupid? Absolutely! And I love him for it. He just silly. He is the kind of person who would accidentally burn the water while cooking, haha! This is also my favorite character in omori btw I love him he's so silly and goofy and I love him!!

LGBTQ+ Headcanons: panromantic asexual trans boy (he/him but he probably would be completely chill with they/them if someone used it)

Next up: sunny. That's him:

This guy. He doesn't really like to talk much (in other posts I've talked about a headcanon I have for him but basically I think he has a notepad or smth that he carries around to write things instead of verbally talking). VERY traumatized. Definitely needs therapy. Does he get it? Nope! He has his tall sunshine boyfriend instead :)

Now, you may also see him shown with an eye patch on one eye, or a scarred eye, or something similar. This, without saying too much because it would be spoilers, is because his eye got hurt towards the very end of the game, so people (the fandom) gave him the scar/eye patch for post-game fanart/fan animations/comics/etc.

Such a good dynamic I love them so much and they're so cute and AAAAA I can't talk about their relationship in the game at all because I don't know how much I can say before I reach spoiler territory and I want you my lovely mutual to go into the game 100% blind (or at least 90% blind) so yeah uh BUT they do interact a lot and i mean they're bestfriends so let them be boyfriends right?

Hehehe ok that's all I can think of to say about them here have some of the Suntan fanart I've found that I love a lot

This one was done by me while watching a movie! It's a little old, but it still looks so cute! Maybe I'll redraw it and make it even better! My shading style has definitely improved since this one, if nothing else.

And yeah! That's my Suntan ramble/infodump that mostly consisted of talking about the characters individually because I really really REALLY don't want to accidentally spoil anything even minor things because it's so so so good if you just go into the game fully blindly so hope you get the game soon and enjoy my funny rambles :D

Ponycard Art Dump

I don't remember *when* exactly I did these. I think like, in the fall of 2023? Maybe? Memory Loss? Help?

I HAD SOOOO MUCH FUN DESIGNING PONYCARD. Is he a changeling? Is he an Alicorn God? Who knows, that's the thing about LuLu, he loves to keep people guessing. I gave him kind of a medium build for the usual Alucard form, then I think Vladcard should be a proper Clydesdale, retaining the bat wings and pointy horn. Would pre-vampirism Vlad be an Earth Pony or something?? I dunno, I feel like one of the more knowledgeable Alucard-loving blogs like @/michi-tala would be better able to answer that kind of thing, but for now, this is all I know lol. Allycard gives me Unicorn vibes, esp with the predominantly white color palette, but I haven't read/watched her stories, so again, I don't *really* know. My expertise is in the base Hellsing Ultimate/Gonzo lore XD

I didn't finish the first one bc it looks so good and I was scare of fucking it up. A good artists knows to quit when they're ahead. /nsrs

I know I have not shared any Halcyon lore on here, so I'll do like, a brief recap. She was a 'Hal' originally (and she was a dude at that time) then she just sort of?? Took on her own character?? As this sort of tsundere kind of Vitorian Era vampiress. She was a peasant to begin with in a no-name village. The village was torn apart by ghouls and Alucard essentially found her dying after fighting for her home, do you want to be a vampire, sexy bite, you get the idear. Then they've basically been married for 250~ years after that.

I made her too fucking small in the last one and it's Pissing me Off that I got the scaling wrong but I got the anatomy and the expressions so Spot On I couldn't redraw it *bites my arm off bites my arm off bites my arm off bites my arm off.*

Halcyon is smaller than Alucard, I mean, he's an Alicorn and she's an Earth Pony for crying out loud, but still, that's too damn small.

I love the way LuLu looks in these ngl. I need to get back to drawing Hellsing ponies, Ponycard was *really* fun to draw.

Happy 95th Birthday to Mickey and Minnie Mouse! - Tribute to sci-fi movies and comics (cosplay) - Star Wars and Star Trek

Unfortunately, sorry for the delay, since I don't have time to do everything myself, but here I am. Since both Mickey and Minnie are celebrating their 95th anniversary and since it's the 100th anniversary of the Disney Studio, I'm going to make it a little bit more of a celebration by drawing tributes to famous movies and also famous artists. By the way, I found inspiration in a drawing by the genius Andrea Freccero. I took inspiration more from Italian comics. Yes, I started with Star Wars, in which Mickey and friends (as well as enemies) play significant roles. I hope you have seen at least the first Star Wars movies as well as the sequels and get familiar with the famous sci-fi genres created by George Lucas and his people. Yes, I drew it my way.

Mickey is Luke Skywalker, Minnie is Mara Jade, Daisy is Princess Leia, Donald is Han Solo, Scrooge is Obi Wan-Kenobi, Huey is the Mandolarian, Dewey is the Ewok (Ewoks), Louie is Master Yoda, Goofy is C-3PO (the golden robot), Gyro is a member of the Imperial Army, Peg-Leg Pete is Darth Vader and Phantom Blot is Emperor Palpatine. And then there's the droid R2-D2. Yes, I prefer the second variant with Scrooge as Darth Vader, but oh well. I hope you like this drawing and this idea and you like characters like this.

The next drawing is related to Star Trek (please people don't get confused with two different sci-fi franchises) and I took it as inspiration not only from the current series and movies, but also from the comics written by Bruno Enna and drawn by Alessandro Perina, Andrea Freccero and Marco Mazzarello. I hope there are some who know about this. However, I drew in my own way in my own style, and this is like a redraw. Mickey is James T. Happy New Year everybody!

January 1st is also funnily enough this blog's anniversary!

Legendary-Cookies is now 3 years old which means of course your obligatory cheesy post lmao

I'm putting it under a cut because the post ended up longer than I meant

I feel like I've only been posting less and less lately, but I really appreciate every one of you for following this blog anyway!

Thank you all so much!

I still very much like Cookie Run but I've been much more busy with less motivation, so I haven't been posting nearly as much as I want to

I can't promise anything unfortunately, but this year I hope to be able to get through my art ideas list for this blog and work on some other projects I have planned

For one, I do plan on adding Black Pearl to the profile picture and banner

I haven't forgotten

I just haven't gotten around to it lmfao

I also want to work more with animation this year, so things like animation memes or test animations or stuff like that might happen in the future

I'll still post in-game content about the Legends as well of course

I've made two other anniversary posts but I feel like I've never talked about how this blog started

Honestly though, I'm not sure how I started this blog lmao

I remember I wanted to make an ask blog with Cookie Run characters, but I couldn't tell you why I chose the Legends specifically

It could've been that I liked their concept because I've always been a sucker for elemental characters

I feel like it also could've been that of all the groups in Cookie Run, the Legends appealed to me the most

For those who didn't know by the way, this blog used to be just the Elemental Four

I added the rest of the Legends later, but Sea Fairy, Moonlight, Fire Spirit, and Wind Archer were the very first

Funnily enough, the first Cookie Run character I ever remember seeing was Sea Fairy

It all came full circle lmfao

I love all of the Legendary Cookies, but those four specifically will always be close to my heart

It's about to get extra cheesy, but ever since I started this blog, those four specifically have become so special to me and are definitely comfort characters

Maybe one day if I'm brave enough, I'll go through my old posts and redraw some stuff

But I digress

To finish this long post off (sorry about that hgszhdjihfz), I want to thank you all again so much for following me and my content!

I guess we'll see what 2023 has in store for us
