WiP - Big Timcampy Plush

After a very frustrating other project (aka the Crown Clown Mask/Glove issue) I decided I wanted to do something for the soul and cut out parts for the big Tim plush.

At first it went quite okay, a bit of trouble when turning parts but that was it.

Until I stuffed the body and it was just... the complete wrong shape. More like a Pumpkin. I tried to fix it but it got worse and worse... until I decided "fuck it" and stuffed the whole thing in a bag and went to bed.

Next day I fixed the shape a bit, it's still not as round as I would have liked but okay enough to continue.

Adding details here.

Tim. And Tim. And Tim. The Tim-Tower.

He's not as perfect as the official one but cuddly and still friend shaped.

Late Application form

Hello everyone!

All pages from chapter 1 to 5 were assigned! Since a lot of artists are motivated to do multiples pages, we will soon open access to chapter 6 and so on. That saying, we also received messages from artists having missed the application period and interested in joining the project. So here is a link to the Late Application Form.

In this form you can once again apply as a page artist, a doodle artist (to do a bonus drawing of your choice at the end of the zine) or a writer (writing a few words about DGM at the end of the zine). You may apply for as many roles and as many pages as you'd like. If you already applied to the previous form, do not sign up again.

The goal of the project is to redraw the page in your own style. You can change the layout, play with the cam, merge cases, put it in colour, try different medium etc… as long as it respects the dialogue and continuity of previous and next page, it's free game! We are not interested in faithful reproduction. If you apply for page artist, make sure to show your skills in background, props and body positions, not only faces as there is a lot of details in the DGM pages.

Once you have applied, the mods will contact you. If you haven't received anything in one week, please check your spams and PM the mod on tumblr or by the email from the form (do not forget to add it to your authorized email list!)

Limit date for late entry for Page Artist is 15th of February, but we do reserve the right to close it early or not accept artists if it becomes too big to manage properly.

DGM 20th project update

Hello Everyone ! We just completed our first week of applications! We have, as of now, 87 contributors for this project!

Everyone should have received an email to confirm their participation and invite them to the discord. Currently, 40 people who have been sent the email are still not in the discord or haven't answered the email, so please check your spam folders!

D.Gray Man 20 years anniversary

That's right, next 31 May 2024, D.Gray man will be 20 years old. As a celebration, I would like to do a fandom project : a redraw of the first chapter. Which mean, many artists coming together, drawing each a page of the first chapter in their own style.

The first chapter is about 55 pages long, that's a lot, so here's an interest check to see if the project would be possible !

Some things you may want to know if there is enough interest to begin the project :

This project would be free to download once finished, we're not going to sell anything from this, it will be just for fun, a tribute to the manga.

Discord will be needed to talk with each others as it's a big project

You can do whatever you want with your pages as soon as the story/dialogue are respected and the end picture is of good quality (if you do traditional). B&W, colour, scrap booking, painting, traditional... go wild!

You'll be free to choose 3 pages you would like to draw, hopefully this way, everyone will be able to do one page they want!

If we have (shockingly) way more than 50 artists interested in participating, we'll do the whole first tome!

Old fan, new fan, seasoned artists or determined beginner, everyone's welcome !

This idea came from the @conanredraw go see it if you want a better idea of the project ! The whole result isn't out yet, but it'll be soon.
