A few weeks ago I sent some of my script samples to a director who was looking to work with a queer screenwriter. Today I got a response from the director saying they reviewed my work and would love to chat with me about my possible involvement and they asked if I wanted to get on a call with them in a couple of weeks to talk about the project. I’m not getting ahead of myself, but it’s the first time my writing samples, which I am SO proud of, have gotten a response, let alone a positive one 🥹🥹🥹
