Beartooth — by far the most 'screamy' among my favourite bands, Caleb's lyrics always hit hard and 'Disgusting' is an album that I stumbled upon at a time in my life when I very much needed to hear it. Before I got into Beartooth I was mostly uninterested in heavier/screamier bands, so they are really the ones who completely turned me around on that style of music

A Day To Remember — as I said above, I was mostly uninterested in screamy bands before; ADTR were the exception to that rule. When it comes to balancing pop-punk with metalcore, these guys have it down to an art, All Signs Point To Lauderdale was the first song I heard by them, I related hard to it, and I was pretty much hooked since

Settle Your Scores — the heavy pop-punk sensibilities of ADTR combined with the 'go for the throat' relatable lyrics of Beartooth. As soon as my Discover Weekly' showed me a song called "How To Screw Up Your Future And Disappoint Your Loved Ones" I knew I had to check it out, and before long 'The Wilderness' was cemented in my top ten albums of that year, and SYS skyrocketed their way to being one my all time favourite bands

So yeah, those are my top ones!

You get a text from your ex. He/she wants to hang out. How do you respond? Admittedly, I would. Do you have a friend of the opposite sex that you secretly want to be more than friends with? No. Well, there are times where I think I WANT to like-like Girt, but I just don't. And yet he's always been there for me without fail, is super funny and kind and chill... but I think we were just friends for too long; he feels like my brother by this point in time. If your partner smoked, would that be a problem for you? If it was cigarettes, yes. Even weed (UNLESS it was for medicinal purposes and not a constant thing) I'd be iffy about. I just don't want to date a smoker. Lung damage is lung damage and weed actually has more carcinogens, and I don't want to sign myself up for all that. I don't want to watch my partner wither away from nonstop smoking and also have myself suffer from second-hand smoking. When will you next see your best friend? There's no telling.
