Had the thought that since the travelers are immortal & they fight a lot, they probably have more strength then what they look like. It might be a lil ooc but its for the fluff

Xiao often fights enemies alone without letting Lumine even lift a finger, but after a while, all that fighting can take a toll even after centuries of fighting experience. Xiao drops his spear & falls limp, cuts and bruises littered his body, his haggard body tries to get up, but he’s pushed himself too much. He wants to protect Lumine, he can’t let her fight this horde on her own, or else she’ll get hurt too. He can’t lose anymore of his loved ones.

Lumine steps in front of Xiao, summoning her sword & leaping towards the army of monsters. “WAIT!” He reaches out towards the traveller, trying to get her to fall back before she hurts herself. But to his surprise Lumine could handle herself quite well, and soon enough the horde was done. She was almost untouched, with her fair share of scrapes but nothing that needed medical attention unlike Xiao’s injuries. The Yaksha was relieved, he was very aware of her capabilities & what she has done to protect the nation, but he still felt it was his job to make sure she was never hurt.

Lumine dismissed her weapon & walked towards Xiao, checking to see if he was not harmed anymore then he was. “I may be a damsel, but it’s a bit rude to underestimate the strength of the one who’s helped save Liyue quite a few times.” She knelt down to check on Xiao’s condition before wrapping his arm around her shoulder, “*grunt* h-hey! Be careful! You don’t need to nurse me.” Xiao’s face flusters before taking his his arm off of Lumine & sitting himself on a nearby stone. “*sigh* if you’re gonna be stubborn then you leave me no choice,” Lumine streches her arms before sliding them to the Yaksha’s back and under his knees & carrying him bridal style. Another thing that the Yaksha didn’t think about was how much the traveller could carry. “HEY! Put me down, I can take care of myself!” Xiao wriggled in her arms, but she didn’t budge. She had carried him all thw way to Wangshu, where she knew he would be looked after with the help of Verr Goldet & her husband. While Xiao was being bandaged up, his face still flushed red, with the thought that the traveller carried him in such way & for so many eyes to have witnessed it happen. Lumine had prepared an almond tofu just for him, to repay him for trying to protect her & an apology for the embarrassment of carrying him.

This is not only the longest post so far, but also my first Genshin post! Wooo🎉 Time will only tell if I can ever make another long post, but I might make more Genshin posts when I have ideas. In the meantime, thank you so much for all the likes, comments and reposts on all of my posts! I’d never thought so many people would like my works! I’ll do my best to post whenever I can! & I’m a bit sorry if any my long posts seem a little rushed 🙏🏼

Incest, unconsentual sex, sexism, misogyny, knifeplay, blood (during sex) ect. You get the jist ^^ I don't like writing anything as taboo as that. Not only does it make me uncomfortable but it's just icky to think about. I want to add realism like racism, showing what it's like to be treated unjustly just by being a colored or ethnic person of color. But I won't bluntly say 'You're a [racial slur]'.

Oh yeh, seeing Zhongli in today's event act just made me lose it like dvdvdbjd. I half expected Venti to troll him. But nah. Hu Tao did that instead :D But man was this act of the event FUN! And I'm falling for LumiXiao scdhdjsjdj they're so adorable! And Xiao's inclusion today was great and the way Diona and Chongyun were compared to be quite similar. Chongyun's reaction to spicy drink being good was also... :D Holy fuck.

Very excited for third act. I hope we get more Xiao shsjsjs. AND some Venti & Zhongli interactions. I just want more sass shdjsjkd.
