When baby dragon Malleus sneezes do you think he shoots up to the sky so Lilia panics trying to catch him because his lil wings can't keep his chub afloat?

Lilia who, in Briar Valley fashion that enjoys making clothes, knits a cute lil hat for Malleus every first winter day of the year. He only ever makes them in one size though, which he intended for Malleus to wear in fae form because he thought his human-like skin would be more susceptible to the cold. Malleus was so used to Lilia fixing it on him when he was a lil baby dragon though, so every year he goes somewhere to transform and put it on. But since he's now a big dragon boy, the one-size hat looks ridiculously tiny on his head and looks more like a pimple growing on a scale than a hat.

Lilia reminiscing how he carried a tiny baby dragon Malleus in his arms when the boy was still too weak to fly long ago. Many years later Malleus is the one to do the same to him; carrying him to places that hold their memories now that he's too weak to fly on his own.

I imagine it's quite cute when they're sleepy. Even in their human forms, they still have some mer features that translate over.

I think they still can purr and chirp, as well as clack their jaws. It's a big unnerving to hear such sounds from someone who looks human, but also you know they're not human.

It might just be a bit weird, hearing a clicking sound come from his throat when you scratch a spot on his scalp that feels juuuust right. But it's him, your spooky scary eelmer, and you can be at ease knowing that the sounds he makes are because he's content and comfortable.

Floyd might be more inclined to vocalize his pleasure, he's never been shy with his feelings. If he's getting a good back scratch and kisses from his mate, then why shouldn't he be loud and proud about it? Occasionally you'll have your friends walk into Ramshackle and find a large Floyd completely engulfing you in his arms as he rests on your belly. He's purring and smiling as he cuddles into you, it's almost a sweet view if the others forgot just who Floyd was. You'd think rumors and jokes would spread about him being a big soft sap, until someone makes the wrong comment about him being your little pet. Then they remember the strengths that morays are known for when they feel a crack in their ribs.

Jade, on the other hand, is always reserved in his affections. He doesn't hide that he's without, everyone knows, as he's quite blunt about it. People also notice that he is a bit more close and touchy with you than others: hovering around you, touching the small of your back, offering his arm to walk with you to class. It's all quite gentlemanly, which is the exact image Jade wants everyone to have. It's why you will only ever catch him curled into your side, arms wrapped around you as he breathes into your neck. It's not quite as loud as his merform, but you can feel the vibration from his soft purrs as you scratched his back under his loose shirt, dressed for sleep instead of the usual suits and uniforms. You two are in his room, where no one else can interrupt you or see him so vulnerable. Except Floyd and Azul, the former making increasingly complicated efforts to barge in mid-cuddle to take pictures for their mom (and blackmail). Unfortunately, Jade has a sixth sense for his brother and his mischief (mostly to join in) and you'd often find yourself mid-scratch when Jade suddenly launches up to tackle a barging Floyd. Swiftly and smoothly, Jade is able to kick Floyd out and hold his phone hostage for a few more hours until his brother starts trying to crawl in the vents, in which case cuddles are canceled until Floyd is bored again.

I think that Jade gets brighter the more intense his emotions get, Floyd is the same. The main difference is that Jade intentionally tries to be reserved in his mannerisms and expressions, and I think his body can sense it. To ensure that there are no miscommunications (after all, the wrong signal can mean very bad things under the sea) his body makes up for it by turning him into the equivalent of a hazard sign.

They'll dull and brighten softly depending on the scenario and emotions he's feeling. There are warning signals, which are fast, bright, and are accompanied by growling and hissing. There are the happy signals, which are usually just a glow that brighten when he's laughing or feeling particularly excited. And of course there are the mating signals, a soft glow that brightens up every so often from simulation. Usually, the glow will respond to the partner's own mating signals, signaling either a reciprocation or rejection, and continue displaying so that the partner knows if the other is enjoying their affections or not.

(It's a very beautiful display, to be quite honest. but it takes quite some time to get to such an intimate point with him.)

In Floyd's case, he takes delight in harassing your pet fish. He's really jealous, but he likes teasing small things, and you know if you really wanted to take care of a sea creature, you could just join him in the sea and tend to him. It's good practice for when you're eventually married, anyways!

As such, you're just chilling in bed with him (Grim is nearby, but just out of Floyd's reach) and giggling at the clack of his jaws. It's cute how sweet he gets with you! All while unaware that your poor pet fish is frantically swimming in their tank, debating on whether it should hide or check on you to make sure you didn't get eaten.

Floyd knows exactly what he's doing, and he just has to make sure that he keeps Grim supply of premium tuna up so that when the little guy translates your fish's language, he doesn't let it slip that Floyd's been mildly terrorizing the poor thing.

Then he'd get banned from cuddles and Ramshackle and that's just no good!

He didn't even notice that his knights kept a close eye on every exchange between you two, although short, there lingers a feeling of longing, especially on your part, the way you looked at their queen definitely wasn’t normal; but Riddle wasn’t normal either, he was too lenient on you. You spilled his favorite tea accidentally, he didn’t get mad, instead, he sighed and had another one made while you apologized profusely to him while patting his shirt with a napkin, the knights were sure they saw their majesty blush!

“I’m telling you man! He’s acting weird!” Ace complained, hugging his pillow while his whole body ached, Riddle went way too harsh on their training, and it got him to run another 20 laps after their usual 10 laps just because he saw him idly chatting with Deuce!

“You’re not wrong, whenever they’re around he seems to be more chill than usual” Deuce said, crossing his arms while he flopped on his bed, his body screamed to slumber but his mind was awake. “Do you think your highness might be…” his thought wandered, snapping out when Ace laughed, “you think he’s smitten?” he finished the sentence, silence filled the room with Deuce’s head working overtime, he placed his hands on the back of his head while he looked at the ceiling, “I think he is”

Unfortunately, during those moments, Riddle was walking around doing rounds on each dorm room, usually this was Cater’s job, but he couldn’t stop his mind from wandering to you; thinking about you is distracting and he despised it. So, he decided to have Cater rest early, while he does the rounds himself. The moment he reached Deuce and Ace’s room, he was going to open the door till he heard the murmurs behind it, opening it up, the two still continued, Deuce stopping first stiffening up while Ace babbled his life away, not noticing that the guy that they were gossiping about was behind him.

“You should’ve seen how he stared at them when they were eating Trey’s pastries! It’s like he wanted to smoochy smooch the life out of them!”  Ace laughed, creating smooching noises, not realizing that Deuce was trying his best to signal Ace to stop”

“Oh?” the moment Riddle spoke; a chill ran through Ace’s spine. “Deuce should have seen how I stared at them when they were eating Trey’s pasties as if I wanted to smoochy smooch them?” he questioned, a vein popping on his head as fire burnt on his hand, lighting up the crooked bedroom.

“Sir- “

During that night, Ace was fortunate that he didn’t die, and only was forced to run another 50 laps and do 100 pushups till morning.

Now the reason why Riddle didn’t have Ace killed was the fact that what he said made sense; he was indeed smitten by you, drawn by a unknown force that attracted him to you, he didn’t know what it is, but it felt as if he knew you and he loved you In another world, maybe in your world he did loved you. That’s just a theory though.

While eating with him, the queen put his tea down, the sweet taste of chamomile tea lingered in his tongue, you were getting used to the comfort of the kingdom, although you still want to go back, you were still around your friends, and your boyfriend, who started treating you much better than before, even if you didn’t make any effort to tear down his walls once again.

“I have a question for you” he glanced at you, your etiquette felt familiar as well, the way you hold your tea, the way you carry yourself, it was similar to how he does it, 

“Ask away” You resumed eating your fill.

“is it possible that you might have known me in your world?”

Freezing up, you accidentally choked on some of your food, causing you to go on a coughing fit, Riddle gave you his napkin as you unconsciously took it, tapping your lips as your coughing subsided.

“Yeah…” you said, glancing down, the tablecloth looked pretty right now. “What’s my relationship with you?” he pushed, causing you to get flustered more, you didn’t answer which got him pissed, standing up he grabbed your chin, forcing you to look at him, it wasn’t a rough touch, but it did get you to finally look at him once again. “I won’t let you go till you answer me” he threatened, it sounded bad, but you only loved the attention he was giving you.

“Why do you ask?” pushing his buttons huh? You certainly were bold trying that on the queen of hearts, however, instead of getting mad he chuckled.

He answered though, pressing his fingers on your cheeks “Being around you has caused me to be distracted,” he noticed you looking away from him again, almost pinching your cheeks, he got your eyes back into his. “I always end up thinking about you, feeling a sense of familiarity, do you think I wouldn’t find a solution on this?”

Seriously, when he’s rough like this, it makes your heart flutter; giving up you grabbed his wrist, pushing it away from your cheeks. “You were my spouse” you confessed, placing your hands on your cheeks, rubbing them to ease up the sudden soreness; realizing that the word “Boyfriend” might not exist in this time.

Riddle’s face went beet red, just like how he is when he is angry but this time, it was all over his face all the way to his arms, he looked adorable like that.

“Spouse?! You’re my spouse?!” he asked rather forcibly, trying to confirm it for the second time as you nodded.

When he calmed down, he sat down on his chair, pushing his hair back while he slumped on his chair “Why didn’t you tell me this in the first place?” you fixed your position on your chair while playing with your fingers. “I don’t think you would have believed me, Your Highness” he raised his hand, effectively cutting you off as he sat up straight as well.

“From now on, you will call me Riddle, or whatever nickname you think of” a privilege that only you have, how lucky you are.

“You accept it?” you asked, surprised how fast he took in the information, you were thinking of a few more resistances and doubts on your part, but Riddle only stared at you, face unreadable. “It explained everything I felt clearly, I am smitten for you”

The way he worded it caused you to snort, making him jolt in surprise, glaring at you as he felt his cheeks heat up again, “Why are you laughing! Am I wrong?” he asked, wanting to shut you up. “I’m sorry, it's just” you continued to stifle a laugh. “It’s funny when you say smitten, like some old man” Honestly, he should have put his unique magic around your neck, but it was useless on a quirkless person like you.

Although he should have minded the fact you just insulted him; seeing you smile like that, he guessed sacrificing his dignity was fine just so he gets to see you smile, it made him lose all the embarrassment and anger towards you.

"You're lucky I love you," you grimaced. He scoffed, "yeah yeah whatever now go to sleep." Slowly, you started drifting off, but Leona simply observed your sleeping figure. He though about how after evrything, you still deciede to stay with him. Even after his overblot you still loved him. To you he was Leona, not the prince, not the lazy second-born but himself. He saw how he truly was like and decided to stay by his side. Never once have you shown proper distaste towards his actions or attitude. I just thought of how chaotic bodyswapping with either of the leeches would be. Especially in PTM. We have Riddle swapping with Floyd which makes Riddles dorm confused and slighty scared with such a chaotic Riddle then a Floyd trying to calm him down and trying to still manage the dorm as best as he can. Then we have … Jade. I feel like he would seem pretty normal for the most part maybe mimicing Yuu as best as he can or just being very formal and polite. Nothing for Yuu to worry about until Jade figures that thus is a perfect oppurtunity to explore the human body and what better body then his mate (i can imagine this is before they get together), i can see jade dressing up in various outfits and admiring himself in the mirror and maybe even taking a few photos or two, you know for the memories like the freak he is. Not sure if he would go farther than that but I can see Yuu worrying about the possibilities and no one believeing they are Yuu until they can prove it to ADeuce and Grim (who might be more inclined to believe it if they saw Riddle and Floyd before hand). And maybe both Jade and Floyd take this opportunity to make sure they have no rivals, flat out rejecting anyone who they may know has a crush on their mate.

Aaaah, I get iffy about bodyswaps sometimes since they can get borderline uncomfy, but I am always down for funny stories. Especially in PTM, it's so full of potential for hijinks!

I am down for bodyswaps if it happens when everyone is aware, if that makes sense? For example, Riddle, Jade, and Yuu are all in their potions class working on their in class assignment. But as we know, Floyd likes to ditch class sometimes to go hang with Jade in his classes. It's a bonus that his Goldfishie is also there, makes for a fun time!

Maybe a bit too much fun...he's knocked over the potion the group next to them had been making. It splashed over him and Riddle, who was now steadily raising his voice, and spilled onto the floor, where you managed to slip and drag Jade with you as you grabbed on his lab coat for stability.

The two of you were now covered in the potion, you're mumbling about not having enough detergent for another load so soon, and Jade is clicking his tongue as he got up. He helped you up, gloves wet, shoes grimy, and you two made your way over to the eyewash and shower station in the corner.

Riddle follows, dragging an annoyed Floyd to the station as well so wash up, the latter complaining about not wanting to get wet. Never mind that he is already wet from the potion. It's when you and Jade are stripping your outer layers to wash up, that Floyd reaches to poke at Riddle's cheek.

A small shock of lighting bounced between them, a red one crackling over Floyd and a light teal one over Riddle. Floyd jerks away, tripping over himself and falling on his back. Riddle froze, hands out and eyes darting as he stared between Floyd and his own hands. Like he was processing something...

You're watching him, a bit scared at Riddle's sudden stillness, as Jade kneels down to Floyd murmuring to his twin as Floyd looks around disoriented.

It's when you finally ask Riddle, leaning down to try and make eye contact with him, that Riddle looks at you. He's wide-eyed, and looks a bit feral, as he shouts, “WHAT THE FUCK” at the top of his lungs (eerily similar to a certain twin) that you stumble back in surprise.

You trip, feeling Jade's arms catch you, and only have a moment to process Jade's bare hands against your skin, when an electric feeling, and gray and dark teal lighting dance across your body.

You feel your head split open, and your body feels off, like your gravity of center moved. A small body in your arms groans, shifting in your grasp, as you blink your eyes open. You don't register the person in front of you at first, though they look familiar.

Imagine your shock when their head turns to look at you and a familiar pair of eyes, just like yours, and blinks.

“...Floyd? Wait, no.” your voice sounds foreign to your ears, like a stranger speaking a different language. “That's—why is everything so tall?”

“Is this what it's like to be short? Oh whaaaat?” You snapped your head up to look at Riddle, or the person who looks like him anyways, as he twirled around, giggling. The tone of his voice was off, a lot like Floyd, as he grinned over at your little pile up, and skipped over to where Floyd was still on the ground, looking at Riddle with a horrified expression.

“Riddle leaned down, a teasing smile on is lips, as he cooed, That you in there Goldfishie?”

“...FLOYD GET OUT OF MY BODY!”

Floyd never really yelled, so hearing him was a shock to everyone scrambling around in the lab as they tried to figure out what was going on. Crewel, poor dear Divus Crewel, is so fucking tired.

Thankfully, he can whip up the remedy potion rather easily. Unfortunately, he has a very busy day with classes, and it will have to wait until later in the day. He sends a mass text to the faculty informing them of the accident, and advises that you all continue your day as normal.

“And please, for the love of all that is good in this world, let everyone else know. There's no reason to hide it, the embarrassment cannot possibly be enough that you need to pretend to be each other. Just, let your dorms know and continue as normal in each other's bodies.”

Despite this, hi jinks and pranks still ensue. Mostly initiated by Jade and Floyd, and mostly at yours and Riddle's expense. If you two notice that some of your peers, ones that were particularly soft on you and that others claimed had a crush, suddenly are avoiding you after the switch, the twins just tell you that they had to tell them off.

If the twins ask why one of their transformation potions are gone, you and Riddle better not tell them that you got curious about how being a merman felt like and didn't know how to transform back without using the potion. Unless you want to get teased about it, of course.

They'll find out regardless, and each twin with tease their respective human, asking them why they were so interested in the first place.

“Awww, is my lil Goldfishie interested in being under the sea? Don't worry, I'll make sure you're all prepped before taking ya back home with me!”

“If you wanted to know what being a mer is like, you could have asked me~ I'd be happy to make you a potion and take you to the depths with me. I have several lovely, private areas that I think you'd greatly enjoy.”

Since drawing and writing can takes time. I normally have schedule so I don’t get over worked. BUT~~ since this is for Deuce’s birthday, I pushed this to the top! Hehe!
