Lucifer-Bowl : The Harem

I have an idea for another Lucifer au. Can be interpreted as platonic or romantic.

So.

Imagine.

A Luci bowl.

Two hundred years ish ago, just a bit before Charlie was born, the Sins and Lilith had this game of sorts. Where for one week every year, they play this game of who can kiss Luci the most. There's different points depending on where the kiss is placed: hands, feet, cheek, forehead, etc. The lips of course has the highest point.

There's also the higher bonus point if it's Lucifer who kisses you.

The ranking goes as follows:

1st: Lilith, (becos of course)

2nd: Leviathan (the closest Sin to Lucifer so he didn't have to make an excuse as to why he's been extra clingy for a week)

3rd: Ozzie (Ozzie's always been a very affectionate person but he somehow still can't pass Leviathan)

4th-5th: Bee and Satan (They hella competitive and it's causing them to play hot potato with 4th and 5th place)

6th: Belphagor (She's a workaholic and doesn't really go out of her way to get said kisses but she visits Pride more often during this week and gets what she can)

7th: Mammon (He's somehow in last place even though he's putting in more effort than Belphagor?? Guy just has no charm - that and he's pretty sure Lilith sabotages his plan)

The winner is whoever comes in second. That rule was placed when Lilith keeps cheating because she can kiss Luci in the lips whenever she wants and she can get him to kiss her back which basically rigs the game (She argues that it's not cheating when it's just her loving her husband)

And one final thing: Lucifer must never know. (He knows but he won't say anything because he loves the attention)

Bonus: After Charlie was born, they argued whether they should make the winner be the 3rd placer because of course his daughter is gonna beat them all!

Alastor sighs again. "Fine. But if it’s over five classes, I'm leaving. No relationship, however fake, is worth that headache." "Wow, what a saint." "Hmm, I figured that was your job. Or, at least, it used to be.” He cackles. "Oh, fuck you." "No, I'm afraid that isn't in our agreement." "Oh, this is going to be good," Angel whispers, wiggling into a more comfortable position on the couch. Husk, on his part, has the good sense not to respond. Niffty's already buzzing with far too much excitement for Alastor to handle. Unlike with Husk, he doesn’t have it in him to reprimand her. The wild gleam in her eye is simply too endearing. "Call me down when Charlie's back, then," he says, heading to the stairs with a short wave. "I am not walking all the way up there to get your sorry ass,” Lucifer shoots at his back. Alastor snaps his fingers and his shadow peels off the heels of his shoes. "Send it up to get me, then." The glower of his shadow weighs on his back, a faint press of unhappiness between his shoulder blades, that softens into resignation as it sighs, and slinks across the floor to lean against the shadow of the grandfather clock. Crossing its arms, it gives the rest of the room a dull, miserable look.

It's been a while since I posted anything (life stuff, you know how it is), but here's a snippet of the next fic in the "Just Kiss Already" series.

Get ready for some silliness with a side of unwanted emotion (on Alastor's part, of course).

Essentially what if we started Nightbringer but we also had the brothers in tow in the form of rings.

No, I didn't spell check this, I'm don't write very often so excuse any weirdness. I suck at grammar and ignore spell check.

Solomon holds his hand out expectantly, presenting to you a handful of exquisite multicolored rings. 7 to be exact. Each one a familiar face, in a somewhat familiar time.

Honestly, this isn't really that astounding by any means. When living in the Devildom, you've come to expect even the most unexpected situations. The rings were probably the least surprising thing you've heard today, seeing as how you had mysteriously been thrown across time and space and landed in the Devildom... approximately 7,000 years ago. Maybe? Nobody is really good at saving dates around here, especially when the average demon lifespan stretches from now to, basically, the end of time itself. A slight over exaggeration? Again, maybe. But in your defense, in your feeble mortal eyes, that's what it may as well be.

The rings jingle in your hand as you tentatively scoop them from Solomons cold hand.

Apon first glance, they would appear to be normal rings. Pristine, each gold band is fitted with a unique colored stone matching those of the beloved demons from your normal timeline. Although, if you really focused on it, twisting the bunch of them in your palm with your fingers, you could feel how warm the metal is. It was as if someone had worn the rings before you, even though it should not have been possible, as you would be the first to bear them. Along with the warm glow of the rings, you could faintly feel an intense pulsing sensation coming from the set. Whether or not it came from what could possibly be a rapid heartbeat or the emanating pulse of horrific eldritch powers, you couldn't tell.

You go to slip them on your waiting fingers until Solomon interrupts you.

"I will warn you Mc, they were terribly rowdy before I turned them into rings, I don't blame you if you find them overwhelming to wear."

"Thanks for the warning, Solomon. I appreciate you coming all this way to help me by the way!"

"Anything for my favorite apprentice! Oh! And put in the good word for me!" Solomon winks. He turns, presumably to go and survey the Devildom of millennia ago. You're eternally grateful he went through all this trouble, not only to willingly throw himself across time and space, but to also take the time to bring along the demon brothers.

You insert each hoop onto your fingers. They fit perfectly, made just for you to wear. For a moment, there is silence. You almost begin to doubt they're even there. The only sign of anything unusual is the pulsing jewelry around your fingers, seeming to wane slowly, just until it matches your own heartbeat. Then the screaming.

"Mc! Did I hurt you at all?"

"Can you hear me?! What happened?

"AHHH, I can't believe you met me while I was in my blunder years! Wahhh!! I'm so embarrassed!!"

"Oi! Human what the hell?! What were you thinking just vanishing like that?"

"Mc, why did you leave?"

"Hon, you nearly gave me a heart attack when I heard youd gone missing! Lets go home asap!"

"..."

Suddenly, you weren't so alone in your head. A barrage of questions, sobs, and abnormal talk of urgency was flung straight in your direction. You could practically visualize the tearful Levi. The clear image of the batting white eyelashes of Mammon as he looks worried at you. Along with what's definitely becoming a new wrinkle on Lucifers face as you listen to him interrogate you. It was almost relieving to hear them speak with such familiarity to you. After being treated like a stranger not too long ago, this felt like you had brought a piece of home with you in this strange version of the Devildom.

Maybe, just maybe in the strange place, in this strange time you could make the most of it. With a sorcerer and the seven rings at your side you may just be able to tackle the newly fallen brothers of the past, the new ruling power of the Devildom, Diavolo, and finally find out why you were sent here by the one called, Nightbringer.

Solomon constantly asking for your reassurance whenever he engages in anything romantic is due to his insecurity that he isn’t as important to you as the brothers. He needs to know you want to do this, he needs to know you love him.

If you say no he immediately backs off. You have to go out of your way to kiss him. There’s never a dialogue option that leads to a kiss without you explicitly asking for one, unlike some characters.

The way that im approaching the "father's love" thing is just that like. Lots of people with abusive parents have a really complicated relationship with them bc, unless they're cartoonishly evil, there are probably SOME positive memories associated with that parent. Since the fall is more of a fresh wound in NB, Lucifer probably hasn't processed his emotions around it so he's still trying to navigate his contradictory feelings towards his father. (Thus, he's a lot easier to manipulate in that way. From Father's pov, it's in his best interest for Lucifer to not hate him since he's in a more powerful position than expected, so I think he set this up while intending from the beginning to "rescue" him.)

Do I think that's what the devs had in mind? No. But it's the story I'm telling myself lmao

Ah, anon, you're right, I keep forgetting how recent the fall is in NB. Lucifer hasn't had a lot of time to deal with how he really feels. And he likely does have some lingering love for Father... and that would make it easier for him to forgive Father now, most likely.

Certainly the devs never have this level of nuance in mind. I don't think the writers put in anywhere near as much thought as we do when it comes to this kind of thing. It could very well just have been oh wouldn't it be cool if Lucifer transformed into an angel at this part? Sometimes they just get on my nerves with their nonsense lol.

Anyway, it does help to think about it in the context of Lucifer's recent move away from his Father. I suspect it's hardest at the beginning, when you haven't been separated from that abuse for very long. Then to have them come around and be like I forgive you? Yeah, okay. I can see why Lucifer might be willing to accept that.

Though I think it's interesting because Lucifer wasn't like okay yeah I'm ready to go back. He's still saying the Devildom is home. So Father didn't succeed if he's expecting Lucifer to come back on his own.

So maybe Father was tapping into those fond memories of Lucifer's, but it still wasn't enough.

I kinda like that, actually. Lucifer's still recovering, he's allowed to be a weirdo about Father's love for a bit, I suppose. Though I don't think I personally would be able to hear him say stuff like that and just let it go. I'd be like listen, I understand that you're going through it right now, but are you sure that's how you should be feeling about all of this?

Lucifer frustrates me because he always seems to be so convinced that his way is the right way. And I want him to consider that perhaps he's wrong, at least about this.

Hola I was wondering if you are planning to dive more deep in the hypnosis headcanon, or if Vox will try it again on Alastor later on, in your fic, and Lucy will smack the shit out of him.

Like is your plot gonna have the vees as secondary villains, who tries and fail to sabotage the hotel or are they gonna totally give up on conquering hell now that the king is back?

I know Alastor made them think that he and Lucy are together, but Vox didn’t actually believed that they were a thing the first time they were presumably caught in sexual activities. I felt like he just wanted to rile Alastor up during the meeting and getting any reaction out of him, probably cause he craves Alastor’s attention…so i don’t think he fully believes that Alastor loves Lucifer still, cause in his mind Alastor is his. He saw him first kinda of logic XD

Like Imagine if Vox convinces himself that ‘his Alastor’ is being forced to do what the king wants cause of a supposed deal, made after he disappeared, So he tries to save him or whatever, always getting between Lucifer and Alastor, asking him out in front of Lucy, and overall being a gentle soul to Al which only scares the shit out of the deer, who wants nothing to do with him. Eheh I love Vox being a delusional IPad

Also is Lucifer gonna get possessive of Al later on? Cause that’s my fav kind

Oooh hooo hooo twosouls out here asking the real questions. Some of which I can't answer due to spoilers, which in and of itself is an answer, I guess.

With Vox in "Damage Control," he was in a very weird, confrontational, possessive state about the whole thing, especially during the Overlord meeting. He kept going at Alastor and accusing him of things he was doing with Lucifer, and being a general out of control mess, but when Alastor more or less "confirms" that it's true, his immediate reaction is to deny it. He may have been going at Alastor, demanding to know what these rumors were about, but deep down, you're right, he didn't actually believe they were true.

He was just acting out because of his own complicated feelings for Alastor. He doesn't like this rumor and how much it's spreading throughout the city. It brought out a lot of old, ugly memories and he is not reacting to them well. Seeing Alastor face to face again, for the first time, definitely doesn't help.

As for Lucifer getting possessive of Al 😏 I guess we'll see, won't we.

All I can say that Vox and the Vee's are going to get involved later on in the series, and I'm excited to get into it.
