Rex meets a new f̴̜̣̻̃͊̆̾̈́̓̃͜r̶̫̰̰͌͝i̵̹͉̗͚͊͐̉̌̽̌̅ẻ̸̹̼̬̖̆̒̋̓̐͜͝͠ǹ̸̜̼͕͆̋͠ḋ̷͑̈̍̚

About two months later after Rex's redemption

Rex is just walkin around town, basically going home, but then as he was about to pass by an alley, he suddenly hears crying nearby.

He went up to the alley near the dumpster and he sees a child crying, all alone

And bcuz he was trying to prove himself that he's a hero or just a good person, he crouched down to the child and asked him a question, "Hey, kid.. are you okay? Where are your parents?"

The child flinches and looks up, after a few seconds, he answered, "..I-I got separated from my parents.. I don't know where they are..."

Rex nods, "What's your name, kid?" "..Colvin.. my name is Colvin."

"Okay Colvin, do you know where you live? I can come with you to keep you safe."

Colvin nods, "..y-yes"

Rex stands up and offers him his hand. Colvin grabs his hand and stands up.

Colvin tugged his arm to follow him into the alley

"..Your-.. your house is through there..?" Rex nervously asks, hopefully the kid didn't notice

The kid simply nods and tugs his arm once again to follow him through. Rex has a bad feeling about this, but he just shrugged it off, he must do this for the kid's safety... they just need to walk through this dark alley... simple enough...

After a few minutes of walking and the surroundings slowly but surely getting dark, he once again asks the kid, "Hey kid.. are-.. are you sure your house is through here..?"

Colvin didn't answer, he just nods and continues walking, still holding Rex's hand. He sure has a bad feeling about this, but he just shoved it down...

Another few more minutes of walking in a seemingly endless dark alley, Rex asks him once again, but this time, Colvin starts to tighten his grip on rex's hand he's holding, tighten enough to actually make Rex flinch and feel a bit hurt which he does not expect at all.

No one, especially this child, is stronger than him(?!).. (or maybe there is....) his bad feelings were starting to turn out right.

Before he can even think about what to do, he got pulled down with strength which he never thought someone can have that can best him, and lands on the ground.

Though, when he got up, he was in a different place, the sky is black, and a floor that is bright colored glowing red.

He looked around trying to search for something he doesn't know, and then suddenly, he hears a voice behind him in the distance, "Hello Rex"

"Kid?! Wh- How did you know my name-?! What happened!? Where are we?!" Rex shouts at him.

Colvin giggles, "Oh, the questions... Isn't it obvious? We're in your mind. Oh wait, I forgot, you never had any original thought in your entire life,.. isn't that right? No wonder you don't know what's happening."

"..Wh-What are you taking about-?! Who are you!?"

Colvin slowly walks towards him "Oh, you really do have no idea whatsoever. Did you already forgot? I told you my name didn't I?"

Rex began to back away as Colvin walks towards him, but then he teleports behind Rex, and whispers, "I'm your worst nightmare!"

Rex suddenly woke up in a cold sweat.

He looked around and finds that he's in his room, seeing the clock at 9am.

He tried to steady his breathing and rethinks back to his dream... nightmare...

He then got up from bed and head out of his room, walked to the living room, seeing Lucy and Emmet just sitting down, chatting.

Emmet noticed him and greets him, "Oh morning Rex! How's your sleep today?"

Rex was quiet for a second before answering, ".. Its.. Its alright I guess.." he smiled a bit trying to hide his uneasiness.

Emmet smiled as well, guess he didn't noticed, or maybe Emmet just shrugged it off, he then heads to the bathroom.

Ironmouse: Part of the reason why I love this server so much is because everybody's so nice. Everyone! Like, every single person is super nice! And it's like- it's like, genuine nice, it's not like fake niceness. [...] I've literally talked to almost everybody at least once like outside of the QSMP. We've talked on Discord, people regularly check in on me, we get in group chats and we play games like outside of the server... You don't really find that sort of connection all the time with people.

Ironmouse recently talked about her experience on QSMP, and how kind all the members are. I'm posting the entire conversation instead of cutting it up like I usually would because I really enjoyed hearing her thoughts on the server.

Ironmouse: It just warms my heart, and I'm just really– really like, thankful to be a part of something so great, and something so positive! Because like, everybody's so supportive! Like– the time when like, I didn't like– I- I- I had a moment where it's like I– do you guys remember in December when I- I was not around a lot? And like, I had to take breaks and all this stuff and it turns out it was like the concert stuff? They all like would message me regularly, like, we would all keep up with each other, and we would all talk. And I remember telling them about like, how much stress I was under, and like all the- all the pressures of the concert and stuff, and– and they were cheering, and- and- and they were just so... so kind to me, it was just so– so sweet, and- and you know, I was in a group chat with a- with a few people, and they were all just so excited and- and- just super nice, and- and very- very sweet, and it's just– and it's just very– I'm sorry if I'm rambling! It's just...

Ironmouse: I dunno! I- I- I just enjoy being here, and I enjoy hanging out with everybody, and... it's just nice to meet really good people. You don't really find that. You don't find that sort of thing all the time. Don't get me wrong– it's not like I haven't met a lot of good people, like– I just feel like this whole like, my whole like– Ever, like– My streaming journey, I've just been nothing but surprised at the goodness of people? Don't get me wrong– I've met assholes and sht like that, and I've met- I've encountered some people that are NOT so nice. I'll never like, talk about it or whatever because that's their thing, and I'm just gonna do my thing and I don't wanna like, you know, spread any type of stupid drama or whatever the fck, but like... I'm just always surprised about how– how incredibly nice people are, and how genuine a lot of people are, and it's... It- it's just nice, especially since like– You're used to coming from like, a certain background and a certain like, environment where it's like, you've met a lot of like fcked up mean people in your life, and you've just been around a lot of like fckery, you know? So when- when you're around stuff that's NOT fcked, it's just like, "Woah, this is crazy! Is this- is this how life is supposed to be?!" And it's just- it's just really... it's really- it's really nice. It's very nice.

Ironmouse: Yeah, it's very refreshing, that's why I- I enjoy hanging out on here, everybody's just so nice to me. And it's not just like being nice just to be on-stream, it's nice off-stream, on-stream, friendship on-stream, off-stream, it's- it's just- it's just so- it's- it's- it's wonderful. It's wonderful. And I just have to say like... man, I'm just really thankful that like... it's crazy that like I got invited to be on here and I'm just really thankful that, you know... ...Um. Super, super late DP Invisobang 2023 art?

The fic by Rockity Sock is still an unpublished WIP so far, but it's really nice and will hopefully be completed and published later.

It begins at the end of the Ultimate Enemy episode, with Dan getting trapped in the thermos. And... I'm not sure how much I can say without spoiling it, but a lot of really cool stuff happens. It's a psychological type of fic, about different types of prisons and punishments, and has time stuff and pocket dimensions, and redemption stuff. (I was only planning on drawing one illustration for IB, but when I saw the WIP, I wanted to see so many things animated. So many awesome visuals. I wish I could've animated them all.)

This is the part I did animate:

He just walked for now, searching for the tiniest crack. The darkness went on for seemingly forever though, and no matter how far he walked it kept on going Dan kept moving He tried his best to break through the walls but every ectoblast he formed fizzled out. Fading into the darkness. Oh, now it makes sense. His powers are being limited, it takes him a few more tries to believe it. The fact that he’s trapped with nothing whatsoever. Endless hours spent, and wasted. Powers he has built up from the ground with no mentor, ones he trained endlessly after a decade. Gone, disappeared, muffled. Limited. Dan let out a laugh, one with no humor. A laugh that turned into a cackle, he couldn’t stop.

#invisobang 2023 #danny phantom #dan phantom #animation #asj art #...this took so much longer than it should've D:#I think it has 232 images of Dan.#I tried a few things for the fog rustle sound effect but I think I went with rubbing my hand back and forth across a soft comforter blanket #(I was originally going to go with swishing my hand back and forth inside a wet bowl but it'd ended up sounding like dry leaves.)#the cape sound effects are from snapping a little throw blanket up and down.#I forget now exactly what I'd used to made the zap sound. It took some time in Cakewalk to figure out and I'd tried looking up tutorials.#The moving background was made by making a 'bg tile' that I could stack horizontally.#And for the fog on the 'floor' there's 8 cycling images at the start of the animation and 9 cycling images for the end of the animation.#For the spin I was going to make 112 frames for the background ...but after working on it for awhile I realized it'd take really long. :/#So I reused the background tile but put it in reverse and overlaid a rotation version at the end. (...though the fog obscures a lot of it)#I'd used the magicposer website mannequin as reference to draw the key frames of Dan's spin.#I drew the images in Photoshop with the animation feature and then saved each one as a png.#Then imported them into Premiere Pro to add a few effects (the zoom for the first shot and the movement of the bg).#Lexx helped me a lot with figuring out music stuff and using Cakewalk for some sound editing.#But I also used Premiere Pro for some sound editing too.#(At one point I'd planned on animating three scenes and having a song in the bg. The growing sound in the first shot is the bass part.#(And things were going to be added onto the song in the other two scenes. ...But then I'd dropped the other two scenes.)#(I was also originally going to have Dan do two more quick ectoblasts after the first one but decided to cut them out for time.)#(also it's not that I can't draw hands. it's just that I knew it would take longer if I did. I'd decided to cut time by not drawing them.)#(...though most of my shortcuts ended up being long-cuts that also hurt the quality. ...Should've done things right.)

Not for the coat itself but because I'm not used to solid black–#stuff with white lineart so like. I actually planned to draw your Sonicsona at first. And then I realized I deadass couldn't even draw Base Sonic. Then I thought I should draw a mole. I realized I also couldn't draw a mole. I thought I should just go for the easiest shit and draw ToFu. I realized I could not draw either one of them, too.

Because I cannot draw, I cheat! I mean I turn things into shapes (chiefly triangles, though not all of them) and then color them and hope that something shows up. This is me using this scientific /+ philosophical concept called Emergence.

No, I didn't just say THAT to sound like I have a technique of any kind, trust. It's so totally a technique—my very productive ass told me.

I remember you saying your favorite color is something like pink, blue, and stuff? It was from that tag game from last year. Hence, I decided I should create a context so I could draw an obscene amount of pink and blue.

If I'm being honest, it took me less than a millisecond to come up with the exact context—Breath of the Wild/Tears of the Kingdom is abundantly blue.

And since I always wanted to sneak ToFu in, I thought I would make a purplish-pink dusk. And then I will sneak those stargazing two in.

Come on. Everyone knows those ToFu panels. Even someone like me, who had not seen that part of the manga yet, knows.

Bless Tonari for being so relaxing to color.

HOWEVER! Fushi's limited-ass color presented a big problem for my cheat-drawing. How many combinations of "white" can you even make before you zoom out and see... nothing?! So I basically sabotaged them. That's what you get for being difficult, you mopey, neck-crick-possessing, fragile-enough-to-be-blown-by-the-wind cutie doofus.

I made up the color of their pants. I didn't even refer to their Nameless Boy drip when I decided on the color. I assed that part.

Yes. I admit I put a shit ton of effort into coloring Zelda. This version of Zelda is my kin, you know. Anyway, I like the way her, uh, shirt turned out.

I also like how the Master Sword turned out, but there was so much blue I ended up requiring outlines to distinguish it from Link's shirt and the sky. Told ya I have no technique or skill. I cheat through and through

I was too lazy to draw those sky islands. Besides, the ToTK side is already saturated with details.

What the fuck issa "proportion?" Everyone's head is an orange. The difference, Nova, is whether it's a Mandarin Orange or an Orange.

I don't know if I overdid Dinraal's draconic mane. It looks like she's wearing a wig. At least she is different from how she initially looked—a red tapeworm outfitted with chicken legs.

I admit I put more effort than any Past Me would have into Dinraal because a certain mutual is very, ah, particular about dragons.

Drawing two of your favorite ships for their show of devotion was a completely deliberative choice on my end. Did you also realize that both Link and Fushi had a short, small, low ponytail and that both Zelda and Tonari had similar hair? I believe it's due to me hitting my drawing skill limitation.

There is actually an Easter Egg of some sort in this picture. It's not the ugly doodle thing, no. That thing is me. I'm not an Easter Egg; I'm a ghost.

I'm not telling you what that Easter Egg is. I'm fine with it never being discovered; it'd be like those secret levels in old video games.

But if you DID discover it, come tell me what you think it is!

It’s so creative and well done and I LOVE your eye for detail, the lighting is inspired!!!! Like the way the sun hits the space behind Zelda is so pretty, AND ZELDA IS SO PRETTY!!!!!! Dinraal, who turned out AMAZIING BY THE WAY, ABSOLUTELY NOT OVERDONE, if anything I’m so glad you had fun working on her!!! She’s so gorgeous!!!! I bet your friend is so so proud of how well she looks!!! Oh but anyway, Dinraal naturally leads my eyes over to the sun/moon (and the 24, hehe, thank you!!! /)//(\ Your memory is astounding!!), which have their own beautiful rays of light leading down onto the adorable couples 😭 I love love LOVE the moonlight leading down onto Tonari and Fushi, and the fact that she’s pointing at it too like she can almost reach it? Beautiful! Gorgeous!!! And it just leads my eyes down to them too, there’s just such a natural circular flow here, no wonder I keep getting caught in a loop of admiration! 😁

The blues and the pinks, and the stars on the ToFu side!!! I just noticed them and they’re everything to me!!!! Hahaha I’m so glad Tonari was relaxing to color hehe, same for me, something about her is just so lovely and calming when she’s relaxed 🥰 As for Fushi’s colors, I didn’t notice! Zelda being your kin is so good to know hehe, I’ve always been drawn to all versions of Link myself! I think we’ve been perfectly set up to “play dolls” with these characters in the future, so to speak! Aaaahh they can’t have been easy to draw, there’s a reason I almost never dabble in drawing those two and their intricate outfits, but you make it look effortless!!! Zelda’s shirt turned out amazing, and I’m stuck looking at her little triangle braids!!!! Was it really necessary to do a drawing like this for something that at the end of the day will just be a little spinoff to occupy us while we wait for the Next Big Thing that's being made in the back room? No, I would say it wasn't. But was it something that I ended up really wanting to do after having The Idea™, on the day this game was "announced"? Absolutely.

It's funny,the original concept for this drawing (basically, everything in this image that didn't come from SOTM) first came to my head in the form of a drawing idea related to Bendy 3 (the next mainline game after DR), it would be a little more colorful - more blue in this case - and would have Audrey, Dapper Bendy and maybe even the Ink Demon. Yeah, I know, this game doesn't exist yet. But I thought it would be a cool thing to draw eventually.

But then, recently, Bendy fans unearthed this new game on April 2nd on Steam and my brain went crazy that day. The unexpected surprise in the new game eventually led to inspiration, and the idea of Bendy 3's drawing ended up coming back during the process and part of its concept ended up emerging with some ideas I was thinking about for SOTM and then, boom. The result was the picture above. I started working on this immediately later that day.

Regarding the drawing itself: The house is not and will not be 100% faithful to what will appear in the game. It's shot in the trailer doesn't really have very good quality,so there are certain details in it that will practically be wrong compared to in-game. (I have no idea what is written below Bendy's head,so I put a random phrase in its place,in this case,"The Nightmare Will Never End") (Also, there is something on the balcony next to the entrance. I don't know what is it, but it look a bit like a wheelchair to me? Idk. I decided to put it in after completing the house)

The Man? It's Alan Gray! Gent's CEO. At least, my take on him. He was the part of the original Bendy 3 idea that I decided to reuse for this. To be honest, I don't have much hope that we'll hear from him in the game, but realistically, of all the characters in the Bendy universe (especially in the games) that have been introduced so far, I think he's the one with the best chance of making an appearance ( him,and probably,but with low chances,Thomas) Also, I included him too because, who else to represent the face of the corporation than the boss himself?

"Brought to you by Gent", which I took directly from BATDR, was also part of the original idea. We know that a third main Bendy game that will focus more on Gent will exist one day, but what it will be called we have no idea. So I used referred, not only to this potential game, but the idea of the og drawing itself, as "Bendy 3: Brought to you by GENT". I thought it sounded nice. And now? I turned it into "Bendy: Secrets of the Machine. Brought to you by GENT" It's a small thing, but it's cool to finally apply this to a game that actually exists.

But in short: I'm very interested! This seems like a very different Bendy game compared to the others that have come before. And while I have several thoughts about what this game might be about and what it might offer, in the end, I don't really know what this game will be. And the fact that I don't know what this is going to be is what makes me very curious and makes me really want to be able to play this. I have a lot to say about this game before it releases, so if you want to know about my thoughts,just read this. Warning, though, I wrote a lot. But that's about it. Enjoy. ✌️
