Went to see a production of She Kills Monsters last night and the entire audience just adopted Steve so quickly. Every time he came on stage the entire audience just shrieked STEEEVE!

At some point he had to wait a good 30 seconds to deliver his line because the audience was cheering so loudly.

After the show someone actually came up to my friend (who was playing Steve) and asked for his autograph. He proceeded to misspell his own name like the Steve we all know and love would

Begging all local and university theatres to sell CDs or digital albums or something of all the songs from their musicals (if you can. I know copyright is a whole thing but I don't know how it works). Please. Even the popular ones where you can find two different broadway versions on YouTube.

I am still haunted by the university version of Caberet I saw last year and I swear it was better than the broadway recordings. I listen to the versions that are on youtube and they always disappoint because they're not My Version.

And it's even more important for new musicals which have no existing publically accessible recordings. (Also I assume more doable with copyright stuff.) Please, I want to watch a musical and then buy the soundtrack to listen to over and over. I will give you money for this. You can use that money to fund future theatre projects. Please let me buy your songs I'm begging you. Make a bandcamp page or something.
