some notes for 20.09.2023 post and a separate cut out for utena because i spent a very long time rendering her ... the original concept i had in my head for this art was very different. it was just supposed to be a style study of this an official anime prop design art, and i'd thought to draw anthy in a similar pose across from her like in the shown version, but with her wearing her prince outfit from the manga. something something another form of female competition under the patriarchyyy stop pitting 2 girlprinces against each other omg etc (side note, how sick would it have been in an AU where akio made anthy fight against utena in the ring? like i dont think it would hav added more to the story or made it better really ... probably would've diluted the message to be honest ... but everytime i see that manga art of prince anthy i imagine some convoluted black rose arc AU where utenas dodging anthy getting her hair hacked off left and right like himemiyaaa nooo snap out of it this isnt uuu while anthys silent and dead eyed hahaha) but then after i drew prince anthy, the picture looked rather empty ... so i thought to add a few decals or borders in the style of the show & official arts but aaahh ... there was still too much negative space. i had to scrap anthy's prince outfit and put her back in her rose bride dress 😭 man !!! he cant keep getting away this !!! [blames akio the figurehead of patriarchy instead of taking responsibility of my own actions] which made me sad because i was pretty satisfied with the way i drew her pose and legs ! but i had to cover it up 🥲 ... the composition overall looked better though. and then after that it kept spiraling. i just kept adding more and more things until i lost control of this drawing and it plagued my WIP folder for months ... i dont want to try and connect all of it in words so ill just lay out all the pieces for you so you can connect them yourself. and you can experience my art thought process in fraction of erraticity and frustration as i experience it myself. this is a lot neater than what happened in my head though because i bothered to put it in order. honestly if i can make you feel a little bit insane trying to scroll through and read all this than i can make you understand how annoying my brain is when all i wanted to draw was utenanthy girlprinces fighting starting references & inspiration: utena prop reference sheet & manga prince!anthy

Snappy.... theres also the additional hc thingy of ink also really overexaggerating his feelings and overplaying them a lot for the sake of trying to feel more intensely (doesnt work, just drains him faster and will never truly feel natural to him...personally think that ink feels a lot of disconnect from his feelings) which could be considerably offputting to dream (though before adding swap to the group she thought it wass normal because she had only seen the fake pretend nice joy of the village influenced by her aura and not Genuine Feelings)

I think eventually through the years they would learn a lot from eachother...like with ink learning to be more naturally charismatic and dream learning to see past toxic positivity and have his perception on emotions change for the better (ie in learning that having different emotions are okay, so long as there is a balance)

Then you give them something to do, someone to protect. The eggs. Their fragile children. Now they dont have to worry only about themselves. And the islanders bond with each other over it, they become more united then ever before.

But all that is just temporary. And when they think that everything is stable and joyous, you slowly take it away. Your children dissapear and then come back with cracks on them. But its alright, it was just a one scary moment.

However later your friends get kidnapped. And when they are back, you want to trust them. But can you really, when you know that the Federation was one keeping them? How can you be so sure that they are the same person they were before.

And the next kidnapping just proves it more. Quackity isnt back. ElQuackity is walking around instead, seemingly looking like the person they once knew.

Then you start the elections. Throw some benefits to make the offer interesting. And it divides them. Maybe not as much as one would have hoped, but some disagreements never hurt nobody :)

And islanders ultimately want someone trustwothy to become a president. But by doing so, you achieve otherwise. Cause now that trustwothy person will be placed directly under federation whether they like it or not.

Well but you still have your eggs. You would always trust your children wouldnt you?

But the Code Monster can impersonate them now. And as much as you want to say that you know your children, can you actually? Or is your mind playing tricks in you. Will you always be able to tell?

They know they cannot trust the island. But despite many disagreements, they always had each other. They consider other islanders friends and family.

But what if one person chose to betray the islanders. It adds to all the concerns and reminds them just how fragile trust is...

And its slowly but surely eating everyone from inside. They are still together. They are always scrambling to cooperate and listen to each other. To communicate. They always have been.

But the question is. Will they always? For how long? Is there a breaking point?

And if there is, when, and what will happen after?...

LAST NAME - what started this all and what i hope others picked up on was gojo calling geto by his last name, not his first: geto. even after everything geto did during jjk v0, gojo still calls geto 'suguru.' he's still 'suguru' to him. i wanted a scenario in which gojo would reject his first name - reject their past and their relationship. this whole comic idea sprung out of being unsatisfied with geto and gojo's canon relationship. personally, im not the happiest with how things were written in the story and feel like the author could've done some things differently. this isn't to say i don't like or enjoy what the author has written either. i just have mixed feelings.

KENJAKU - in case it wasn't clear, the door closing on page 14 depicts geto with stitches on his forehead - aka kenjaku. what that page is trying to convey is that the moment geto killed yuuta, the future where geto's body is used to box gojo ceased to exist. in this au, kenjaku's plan that we see in the canon timeline would never and will never work. by killing yuuta, geto crossed a line and permanently severed his relationship with gojo. if gojo wins here, gojo will dispose of the body properly. the panel after shows a closed door with the memory of who suguru was. the person who suguru used to be and the best years of gojo's life etc etc. but "broken" bc it's gojo truly realizing that's not who geto is anymore + the whole "severing relationship" thing. does this make sense.

what happens after the comic ends is up to interpretation though

GETO'S PLAN - i didnt focus a lot on the specifics of how this could've happened considering geto's plan changed in this au. how it happened isnt really important, you can come up with whatever you want. what i wanted to focus on, and what i hope people managed to pick up on is the situation itself - geto killing yuuta. sorry yuuta. i'll make it up to you.

i ended it here because it felt the best place, but here's some scrapped dialogue of a few seconds after: GETO: "… It was a necessary sacrifice, Sato-" GOJO: "don't you dare call me that" basically to emphasize the first name vs last name situation

GOJO N GETO - ive always felt uhhh. nitpicky, i guess. about the specifics of everything regarding gojo and geto. ive felt unsatisfied for a variety of reasons, and this was basically an idea that sprung out (a looong time ago) of a want for gojo to be angry at and feel more.. negative emotions, i guess, toward geto. i still do genuinely enjoy their canon relationship a lot tho. i enjoy the way they’re written together and individually, i just have different/multiple feelings about the same thing :)

RIKO AND YUUTA - erm there was a scrapped panel... you can find it on my blog if you're really curious but there was a panel of geto 'remembering' riko's dead body (a distorted memory, because the blood reflects yuuta's injuries). it's not necessarily that riko and yuuta are similar, it's that geto becomes a bit like toji in the end. just like toji, geto tries to kill a young teenager for the sake of his own goals. while toji's was selfish and geto's, in his own eyes, was for the greater good, there's still the similarity of killing a child. of stealing their future for their own goals. plus the fact that gojo killed both of them in a similar way.

TRUST - yeah i know the quote is in the context of the 2nd years fighting geto. still. gojo trusted geto to a large degree, despite everything he did. so. it's going here.

PG 4-6 - geto values and cares about sorcerers so so much. again, he was fine with trying to kill yuuta for his vision and all but i dont think he wouldn't feel some level of. conflicting emotions i guess. (i am very against the idea that geto wasn't... trying to kill yuuta? i don't really get that perspective at all. it'd make all of that meaningless imo. but this isn’t about that.) ok im done.

yeah that scene is very obviously supposed to recall the gerri phonesex scene, which is itself recalling the way logan used to talk to roman. he's coming full circle in that he's now just listening to it directly out of logan's mouth, though of course with the added layer here of it being a deepfake that kendall made in order to try to insult him (because kendall and roman do not understand each other's sexualities at all and would mutually make each other's heads explode if they thought about it for more than 5 seconds).

anyway like, obviously it's not JUST being horny; he's also grieving, and also even though he has a negative oedipus complex i'm not sure he would ever be able to be, like, directly aroused by his actual literal father, which is why gerri as a proxy was sexually mind-blowing to him. but yeah it's clearly a scene that is supposed to echo some of the only sexual encounters roman has ever derived pleasure from lol.

Plot:

• The Stanley Parable (2013) started off as nothing more than a video game with a basic ai Narrator repeating a script with minor changes every run.

• Eventually, the Narrator gains consciousness but keeps to the game, trapping himself in repetition as opposed to trying to escape

• He has major issues with the endings such as the zending and the confusion ending. While he knows he was purely artificial originally, he prefers to ignore it and believe he is a real being with free will.

• Aside from the Narrator, everything in the game is coded. Stanley is just a vessel for the player, all the objects don't really talk, ad everything is planned, despite what the Narrator believes.

• He remembers every reset. Though not every ending in incredible detail. Endings like the Zending, Confusion, and the Skip Button are vague memories in his head. The skip button being a time-sped up ending and becoming a blur to him that he forgets normally.

• The Narrator knows about the developers, but cannot speak to them.

• All Stanley's input is from the players. The Narrator doesn't know this and just thinks that Stanley either has terrible memory or has vastly different mood swings.

• In the Not Stanley Ending, he realises that the player isnt the Stanley he believes he knows and splits them. Leaving the Player above the two doors room.

• The Narrator, in the HD remake, cant believe that there are real people. He knows of them, but knowing that they are with him in the game will give him an existential crisis/make him distressed, and as a result, reset the game (see: confusion, zending). So the game has a feature where it wipes his memories from the Player unplugging the phone up until they split.

• Things change when Ultra Deluxe comes out.

• The game is revamped completely, The Narrator can feel how smoother the game feels, especially since its running in unity despite it looking exactly like its 2013 version on the source engine (? fact check this)

• One major change is that the Narrator can hear some players as they play the game. Given that they have a working mic and all.

• Surprisingly he doesn't mind it. Enjoying getting reactions from his script despite the fact its real people.

• Ultra Deluxe loses the feature to reset the game if the Narrator gets too upset. Instead, its a plannes forced reset.

• Eventually, he ends up with a player whom he enjoys hearing the responses to. Responding to the Narrator like they were in a conversation as the player rambles. Internally, he's scared to break the fourth wall. Afraid it might spook the player and lose this one shred of genuine connection.

• They continue like this for a while. The narrator subtly changing the delivery of his lines to better suit the players moods. In turn the player responds as usual, without noticing that the Narrators dialogue is changing.

• Its subtle. Being more harsh and boring when they hear the player talking about an exam they should be studying for and not here playing the game so they can leave and do well. Being more soft when theres that all too familiar hurt tone in their voice while they play. Being a bit more snarky when they laugh at everything he says. The player even goes to the starry dome to study, and the Narrator feels like he is hanging out with a friend, knowing that the player would never go into the other room. (They have, once. then never again)

• At some point, the Narrator slips up and responds to something the player says and as while he fears a negative reaction, he gets a surprised gasp followed by a few noises he cant place before a "Is that new Narry dialogue?! lets fucking go!"

• The narrator sighs in relief before chuckling a bit. "Language, dear player."

• The player pauses. Now there is the silence he was afraid of.

• "...Hello?"

• "Hello, Player."

• More silence.

• "This... this isnt prerecorded right? No voice recognition system in the game-?"

• "Prerecorded?! I'll have you know I do all of my voice lines live for you players, thank you." He scoffs, somewhat offended

• "Have you been listening to every players reactions this whole time?!"

• "Well not every player of the Stanley Parable. But right now its just been you that ive been hearing for the past few months."

• "Oh my god you must've heard me talk about your voice so much- im so sorry."

• He laughs, surprisingly genuine. "Nonsense! It's been a delight hearing your responses and your voice, Player-"

• "Oswin." The player says gently, "My name is Oswin, Narrator."

• "...Well, Oswin. To be perfectly honest, I adore hearing your responses to the game and to my script. You are one of the rare few who respond as though we were in conversation and truth be told, its a welcome change to the players who tell me to piss off or talk to themselves."

• They snort. "You mean the youtubers?"

• "Definitely."

• Thus starts A friendship between Oswin and the Narrator

• With this new connection, the Narrator slowly gets used to the idea of sentience and the real world. Feeling more and more human as the friendship helps him understand his world and beyond.

• He gets used to manipulating the game around him. Locking the game to be only on Oswin's computer and being able to interact with him through screens.

• While this happens, the game slowly starts to glitch. Stanley becomes sentient, going through the same dillema the Narrator had, however the Narrator is able to reassure him and help him understand.

• It takes a bit of work, considering that Stanley up until their instance of the game locked onto Oswin's PC had undergone every ending an unfathomable amount of times. With his sentience he has to process the fact that both he and the narrator were trapped in the game with no free will.

• At this time, the Narrator manages to enter the real world. With some help of coding magic and Oswin's powers alowing him to exist in the real world.

• The Adventure Line grows sentient too. However due to the fact that the Line was never fully fleshed out as a character, when it came to the real world, it turned into a teenage girl by the name of Lynne.

• Stanley also enters the real world.

The three of them are able to pop in and out of the Parable. It being treated more like their second home

"Steve, that's not how Halloween works," you sighed, arms folded on your chest as you sat cross-legged on the bed right by Steve's legs. He was leaning on the bed frame, one hand keeping his book open from the lower end of it, the other swirling the marker around- and he looked so cozy that you felt a bit guilty about keeping him away from the world of his book. Sighing softly, you slowly moved closer to him and got under the covers, his arm immediately finding its way around your shoulders to keep you close to his chest. "Besides, I think Maria is already going as Captain America, so…" 

The grimace which took its place on his face pulled a laugh out of you, as you patted his chest reassuringly, watching him as he carefully jammed the bookmark on the page he was left at. Setting the book down on the nightstand by his side, he wrapped both of his arms around you, slightly pulling you on top of him as you braced yourself on his chest, looking down at him with a silly grin. "What are you going as?" 

"Dunno," you hummed happily, reaching to press your lips against his chin when you couldn't bear the lovesick expression he kept sending your way anymore. "I'm so hopeless when it comes to actually picking something. Might as well go dressed as your shield or something."

His warm laugh was enough to bring the smile on your lips even wider. "I might actually have an idea." 

You don't even know how he found an exact replica, and you're not willing to ask but the next day, a couple of hours before the party, Steve came back to your shared room in the compound with a costume. Specifically, a Star Spangled Singers costume. 

"Did the USO tour in the 40's with the group," he chuckled, watching your bewildered eyes as you ran your fingers through the soft fabric of the outfit, laid out across the bed. "What do you think? Too much?" 

"I am going to look awesome with Maria, you have no idea." 

A playful frown formed between his brows. "Really? While the actual Captain America is-" 

"We both know you're gonna go with a shirt, Steve. Let's not try to fool each other." you giggled, slowly approaching his sitting figure to wrap your arms around his neck and let him pull you into his lap. "It's so cool. God, you're so cool- can't believe I'm dating this guy." 

His soft laughter was muffled when he reached in to bury his face in your hair, tugging you closer to his chest as he did so. "You're going to look beautiful in it," he hummed. "Gonna give me the best kind of nostalgia." 

"I thought you hated the USO tour-" 

"Shut it," he whispered, earning a quiet chuckle from you. "Everything is bearable when it's with you." 

Quite literally, every single negative thought he had about the tour vanished the second you walked into the room, hand to hand with Maria Hill who was indeed dressed as Captain America, tight star spangled suit actually fitting her so well that you thought maybe, she could pass as him if she wanted to. 

But boy, oh boy; Steve couldn't keep his eyes off of you. Blue sleeveless vest with a deep V cut and three pairs of stars on the collar, flowy red and white skirt short enough to show just enough of your legs, adorned with a black pantyhose. You had a blue cap placed carefully on top of your styled hair, and white gloves going up halfway through your biceps; he couldn't help the way his gaze followed you through when you approached Tony and Nick with Maria, completely ignoring the way Sam nudged his side and waved towards your direction to get your attention. "Damn, she left you for another Captain America? That's cold." 

You excused yourself, squeezing Maria's hand slightly before letting go, graceful strut clicking against the marble flooring as you made your way over to the duo. "Hey Wilson, who are you supposed to be?" 

Sam faked offense, one hand dramatically going up to his chest to clutch it. "Excuse me? Nat King Cole?" 

"I'm supposed to guess Nat King Cole just from the.. suit?" 

"Why else would I wear a suit- alright, you know what Cover Girl, I'm gonna leave you and your star-struck boyfriend alone and get as drunk as I possibly could," he declared, giving Steve -who was still watching you with a smile on his lips- a pat on the shoulder before offering you a salute and walking away, towards Rhodey.

You finally returned your attention to your boyfriend then, meeting his sparkly gaze with a big smile. "Hey Cap." 

"Wow." 

"I know." you giggled. "Maria and I make quite the couple." Steve didn't react much to the joke, too busy staring at your maroon lips and the way they curved upwards- feeling red, white, blue fireworks going off in his chest. 

Not that he wasn't used to seeing you all dressed- you could pull literally anything off, in his eyes. From tactical outfits to the silliest pajamas known to humankind, you always looked stunning to him, filling his insides with a boyish kind of giddiness, which he hid well through the serious exterior. 

You approached him a bit more then, resting a glove-clad hand on his chest before reaching up to press a kiss against his cheek, trying to break him off of the trance he seemed to be under. "Earth to Rogers?" 

"You look incredible," he chuckled, mostly to himself, before getting a hold of your hand to twirl you around once. You did so, rather gracefully, the flowy skirt going up and down in the most hypnotizing way possible. "I might have to keep you away from Maria at all costs. She might just forget to remain professional as Captain America." 

"She's equally as hot so it kinda goes both ways," you shrugged, earning a playful scoff from him before he held your hand again, this time bringing it up to his lips to place a soft kiss on top. "Ooh, chivalrous." 

"Can we- do you want- hold on, let me just," he cleared his throat as you bit down on your lower lip, holding back a laugh. "Can I get this beautiful lady a drink?" 

"Did I just get you all flustered, Rogers?" you chuckled, slowly dragging him towards the bar as he laughed along, sheepish. "Good thing you have no idea what's under this outfit."

"What? Wait, what's under the outfit?" he asked, although his hopes of getting an answer died down quickly when the two of you met Natasha, Bruce and Clint by the bar. Clint, by the other side of the bar, immediately went in for a high-five with you before pulling out the bottle of champagne Tony opened earlier on. "Why is Steve incredibly under-dressed next to such lady?" 

"Heard he's not the Captain anymore." Natasha chimed in, earning a laugh from the group as you nodded. 

"Oh, yeah! Much more fun, working with Captain Hill." you purred, basking in the warmth Steve's hand on your waist provided. "Wonder where she is.."

"She's busy being given a headache by Tony," Natasha replied right after Clint handed the two glasses to Steve and you, earning a timid smile from you before you took a generous sip, letting the liquid burn down all the way through your throat. "The two of you by the door might've made me question my sexuality a little bit." 

"Alright, can everyone just stop trying to bed my girlfriend?" 

"Bed me? Oh my God, you're actually back in the 40's," you laughed, with Steve playfully rolling his eyes and tugging you closer to his side. "Might as well ask me to dance Waltz with you to Doja Cat." 

"I might, actually-" but you cut him off with a quick kiss to his lips, before slowly stepping away from him with a wink, still holding onto your glass. 

"That's too bad, a Star Spangled Singer only dances with Captain America herself!" 

"I'm starting to get used to this thing," Maria twirled you around again, earning a hearty laugh from you when you nodded and did the same to her. 

"You look badass in it. You should take on the name, seriously." 

"Only if you agree to be my sidekick. But in that outfit."

"I don't think I could fight in high heels and a skirt-" 

"You don't have to," she chuckled, shaking her head. "Just give me a thumbs up when I do good and sit pretty, that'd be good." 

You laughed along, pulling her to your side tiredly when the music changed again. "I actually considered coming as Captain America's shield but then Steve pulled this out, so…" 

"Steve was the one pulling this out?" she asked, giggling. "He knew what he was getting himself into, then." 

"Mhm. Speaking of…" you trailed off, slowly pushing yourself apart from her embrace and reaching to fix her hair before smiling again. "I should find him. I kind of deserted him for you, hotshot." 

"Best choice you've ever made." she chuckled and squeezed your hand one last time. "Have fun, m'kay?" 

"You too." you hummed before walking away from her happily, eyes scanning through the room as you made your way over to the bar again. A squeak left you when you felt a strong pair of arms wrap around your waist, pulling you close to his chest with a laugh. "Steve! You scared me." 

"And you, miss, haven't answered my question." he spoke, right against your ear. You let out a soft chuckle at that. "What's under the outfit?" 

"My endless love and adoration for a certain Steve Rogers." you replied seriously, causing him to laugh and hide his face on your neck. "For real. I got a Captain America trading card in my bra and that's like, all." 

"I thought you meant something like, I don't know, a very patriotic lingerie set or…" 

"Please don't bring politics into our bedroom," you chuckled, slowly turning around in his hold to wrap your arms around his neck and smile up to him. "I was messin' with you. Wanted to rile you up solely for my own amusement." 

"Left your manners on the nightstand?" 

"Exactly." you hummed, letting him pull you closer just to press his lips against the side of your forehead. 

"Well, there's always the fourth of July for that, I hope." he shrugged, and you really wanted to just kiss him until his poor lungs went dry. "Say, what does one do with their girlfriend on a Halloween night?" 

"Horror movies are on the table," you mumbled. "We'll steal beer from the kitchen- and of course, the candies Tony insisted on buying to give to trick-or-treaters as if any child ever comes around here." 

"Sounds like a deal. But you'll keep the outfit on, right?" 

"Only if you're gonna be the one to take it off when I'm too sleepy to do so." 

You could still hear the music through the thick walls of the compound, although a lot more muffled. Your chest was against Steve's back as the two of you cuddled up on the bed, a low-budget horror movie from early 2000's on your TV while you absentmindedly played with his fingers, massaging his palm with your thumbs mostly to ignore the logical explanations he came up with for whatever demon was after the characters. "Stevie?" you looked up a bit, earning a hum from him. 

"Yeah?" 

You let your head fall back on his chest and closed your eyes, a smile forming on your lips. "You're my favorite Captain America, you know that, right? Even though Maria is a close second." 

He laughed at that, arms wrapping around you a bit tighter before he left a kiss on your hair. "I know. And you're my favorite Star Spangled Singer." 

"You'd lose your virginity to me in the 40's too?"

favorite thing about them- He's trying so much! He is not great at it and he was very much Doomed since the beginning and he lost every agency he never had to begin but my god he was Trying! He did not know he was a clone but he felt he that he isnt him and Haggar was still scouting in his head but he was still trying until he couldnt, my god i love him!!

least favorite thing about them- Other than the fact he fucking died??? Kuron babygirl please dont go behind your teams back and dont yell at people, i know you are Going Through It™ but still

random headcanon- i have already talked about him being fan of reading but did you know he also writes sometimes? It is not *great* and almost all of them are wips because he is never sure how to end a story but he is trying

unpopular opinion- if i see one more "Kuron the evil mean clone" i will scream.

Other than- ok. You know how much i love him right? He is one of my favourites and i like him more than Shiro, you know that right? I need you to know and remember that when i say the next part.

Entire clone arc was just not needed. Like you could have had the same effect with Shiro being mind controlled and i personally feel it would have been better. Clone arc just overcomplicated an already messy plot, added even more elements and questions that went absolutely nowhere, left behind a shit load of plot holes, became the final nail in the coffin of Shiro having any possible arc or development, and added a new sympathetic character just to kill him off as a plot device.

And the entire "You are my brother Shiro, i love you" who is it for? Literally who is it for? It would have been much more heart wrenching if it was mind controlled Shiro but we clearly established that is not him. i think that reading the doom patrol run that gar originated in is INTEGRAL to understanding him as a character... like, to me THAT is my baseline, and plenty of versions AFTER that fuck up a lot of characterization (notably the NTT era) that was established back then, but tbh when things contradict/retcon the baseline for me? where the writers clearly misunderstood the character? often i just... overlook those parts. or try to find a way to fit it into the character that makes SENSE, at least, bc sometimes ignoring them does more harm than good

like, i dont ignore the fact that in the ntt era he was written as super misogynistic... but i can also explain that by the fact hes been forced to spend FAR too much time with steve dayton, NOTED MISOGYNIST, as a young and impressionable teenager, and those behaviors can rub off on people...

BUT in his original run, he showed NO signs of that, actually seemed pretty chill and respectful of women, especially considering he hadnt had a good female role model since he was probably, what? 6? at most? when his mother died, so i think that... at his core, he isnt disrespectful like that, and it could be explained as being a negative influence by his adopted father.

sorry to bother you, but you made a post talking about signs of GI issues in dogs and was wondering if you could tell me what helped you recognize that enzo has GI problems? it’s something i’m worried about my own dog struggling with, but i have 0 clue what to look for. don’t feel obligated to answer this!

well, first was at 6 months, i noticed Enzo started coughing after he drank, about every other time he drank. It was at first not something i thought much about before it became more consistent. My first vet suggested it could be collapsing trachea (literally only bc hes a toy breed) and said not to worry about it. I saw another vet at that practice, and since i was worried about it i asked her opinion. She said it was possible that it was GERD, and that we could try an antacid eventually to see if it would help.

Other symptoms that I figured were just puppy stuff (and may hve just been puppy stuff!): very rare vomitting of bile in the AM, being a picky eater particularly in the morning, and the very rare soft poop. A lot of these can be explained by pupoy stuff, puppies are notorious for "garbage gut" (eating nonfood items that makes them sick), and sometimes just have sensitive tummies. bilous vomitting in the morning isnt particularly unheard of in healthy dogs or in puppies, sometimes having an empty stomach can make dogs feel nauseous and throw up, but this is more common in dogs with gerd/acid reflux.

one other less common symptom is halitosis aka bad breath. especially if it smells foul, like puke. Puke smell would mean reflux. Other bad smells can be dental issues related to reflux or some dysbiosis in the gut.

GERD tends to get worse overnight, mostly because of how gravity is acting on the stomach. It's easier for stomach acid to travel up the esophagus when the dog is laying down.

Things got worse when he contracted giardia in March. After treatment, his symptoms were better but did not completely resolve. He still had softer stools and I was pretty much washing his butt every day. He also continued to show reflux signs - at this point coughing every single time he drank, and starting to show intermittent (but short) gulping episodes.

These were new, but i was aware of what they were bc of my anxiety induced research spirals from before I knew what his cough was

He also was having bile vomit episodes a little more frequently, though not in a super concerning amount at first.

My vet prescribed a diff diet for Enzo after 2 weeks of no improvement post treatment, even though the fecal tests were negative. This diet worked amazing at first and had his stool firm immediately, I was impressed!

But shortly after, like a week later, he made himself sick by eating cat poop (my current theory) and he was having trouble holding food down for a couple of days. We dosed cerenia and he was fine for a couple days but continued ti have issues with bile vomitting that week. And about a week after he was feeling better, he had an episode of passing bloody stool.

Basically at that point we started screening him for IBD, since a lot of other issues were ruled out. So far nothing has come back conclusive. but before this week, he was doing great with the diet trial of hydrolized food and an added probiotic.

His symptom flared, i ASSUME, because I fed him a bit of chicken. His flare started with increase in coughing (which had gone away!) and progressed to soft stool and eventual reflux episodes especially directly following meals.

i hope this helped. every single dog presents GI issues differently. If you tell me what specifically is concerning you i might be able to help better but i am not a vet, just someone who researches a ton when shes anxious lol

like theres a huge difference between being worn down by constant noise/bullshit negativity and choosing to ignore it for your health vs being borderline delusional and shutting yourself off from improvement because your ego is too fragile and you care more about fame than making something meaningful. and its worse when its turns into you telling fans that *directly*. like yeah yeah everyones a critic and some fans really do go too far or treat these bands like they own them rather than viewing someone elses art but, its clear thats not what this is about anymore.

two things can be true at once: having thousands or millions of eyes on you, a big facet of internet culture, just tearing you apart hurts *and* you need to take constructive criticism to improve especially when youre trying to share your art with the world but your message is progressively getting lost. you cant take everything to heart but you still need to take things to grow. there are people 10 years younger than him who are more capable of tackling this particular issue, this is a sad moment for the band but more importantly for him as a person. hes gonna look back on this in no more than 10 years and regret it
