People are claiming that Kyoya is canonly gay. No, no, he's not.

The manga...Bisco Hatori, really...never, ever, ever stated anywhere that Kyoya was canonly gay. I don't think she ever stated anywhere in the manga if the large majority of the characters were LGBT. The only canonly LGBT character is Ranka, who is actually bi. There's also Kaoru's case, but I honestly can't remember if Bisco Hatori said that he's canonly gay or if she changed it. Haruhi might be heavily implied that she's non-binary (but ngl, I can't remember).

But other than them, none of the other host club members or side/supporting characters have been canonly stated as LGBT.

So no, Kyoya is not canonly gay, people. You can headcanon that he is, or headcanon that he's asexual or whatever...I headcanon that he's bi, mainly because the manga pretty much kinda implies that he's into both guys and girls.

But that's all that is: headcanon! Not actually canon! Please, research the difference and then keep it mind.

here's a silly something that was going to be a thing of its own but i thought it was much better as a blurb <3

“kaeya,” you call, running your fingers over a midnight blue t-shirt with a cat and the word ‘meowlicious’ embroidered on it in silver. “come take a look at this!”

hearing no response, you turn, only to find kaeya’s hoodie-clad figure next to the hat section, where a wide variety of them sit on display. the trolley sits to the side, abandoned in favor of a ridiculously colored hat that now sits on his head.

“what?” he asks, a twinkle in his eye. “you don’t think i look handsome like this?” he poses like a model on the runway. with his midnight-colored hoodie, white sneakers, silver earrings, eyepatch and rainbow beach hat, he makes for a comedic sight.

the price tag dangles over his eyes, the cherry atop this absurd cake. a smile spreads across your face and laughter bubbles up in your chest.

“you look very handsome,” you tease. “i’d definitely pay—” you reach for the tag and flip it over. “five ninety nine for you.”

“is that all i’m worth?” one hand flies to the center of his chest in feigned astonishment. he catches your wrist with the other when you begin to move away. “i was under the impression that i’m worth far more than a meagre five ninety nine.”

“oh, you are.” you flick his forehead playfully. “but the standard rule of department stores is that i pay what’s on the tag.” you stick your tongue out at him, intertwining your fingers with his.

“touché. it looks like you’ve struck a bargain. take me home, then, my love.”

“we’ve got to pay for our stuff first, my love.”

This ending frame is so beautiful to me. The fact that Shu is doing a pose reminiscent of when an actor motions to the music pit/sound crew/house to thank them for their 'unseen' work and support after bowing. It's like Shu is thanking Mika for getting Valkyrie (and himself) to the spot they are today, and for being with him through it all. Paired with Mika's more proper bow-like pose... Opening arms to Shu like he's finally accepting his praise without doubts... <3

I know our sweet Mika Pie is an angel and is the best gf ever BUT she definitely has a bit of toxic tendencies when she wants to! First off, she knows her power. Like she knows she knows she can get whatever she want, from whoever she wants 😩 and doesn’t have to put up with anything she doesn’t want to. You’ll be arguing with her over something slight and next thing you know, babygirl is at the club or hanging out with another bad bitch until you learn your lesson. She’s a demon in bed too so she def used that to her advantage. Depending on what mood she’s in, she’s either holding out on you altogether or overstimming you to the point of tears and then not allowing you to come because she’s not feeling so nice! And she def uses it to get her way too. Speaking of making you jealous, she’ll go and get one of her best friends to take pics with, knowing she doesn’t even like men LMAO (but you don’t know that at the moment) and she’ll just play little games until you both wear yourselves down. She’s too pretty for the fighting and violence but she will drive you crazy if you take it there.

From the launch party for The Stone Sky, way back in August 2017, at the Housing Works bookstore in SoHo. (Why does it feel like that was 2,334,872 years ago? Don't answer, I know why.) The intrepid disaster researcher/Stargate consultant/SETI researcher* Mika McKinnon graced us with her awesomeness, and we had a chat about geophysics and disasters. I know squat about geophysics -- I nerd out about rocks and volcanoes, is all -- so I just hope I didn't bore her. She's such a fun person.

We tried to commission a geode cake for this event, but for some reason none of the fancy cake places we called were willing to make one. So we ordered a very nice cake from one of the places that was polite about it, and my intrepid assistant ordered these rock-sugar cake toppers from Lucitini Cakes, and badow.

*She has like a million titles. I picked my faves.

Ever since I rewatched the "Ouran" live-action, I've found myself falling hard for Daito Shunsuke (aka Kyoya), again!

What is wrong with me?!

Just sucks 'cause he's like, 10 years older than I am, and lives in a different country. And, he has no idea that I exist. Would be cool to be friends with him, at least.
