before pride month ends: excluding intersex people from the lgbt+ community is rhetoric peddled by radfems and TERFs. the idea that intersex people as a group have asked to be excluded from lgbt+ spaces is incorrect and (well-meaning yet ignorant) perisex people are in no way helping us by reinforcing it. intersex people deal with unique challenges, but our experiences overlap with other lgbt+ struggles. a very large percentage of intersex people want access to the resources + support of the lgbt+ community and in many countries the officially accepted acronym is lgbti to include intersex people

we all know that not every lgbti+ person claims to be part of the lgbti+ community, but we’d spot the danger in a small, loud group calling for a particular identity to be pathologised and removed from the community entirely. this is happening to intersex people and perisex people need to help us stand against it

Exorientação / Exoidentidade

Eu sempre fiquei pensative quando ouvia dizer sobre os tipos de atração humana.

Uma orientação é um padrão de atração direcionado a pré-determinado(s) gênero(s). Ela baseia-se em rótulos abstratos que são distinguidos entre si pelo gênero próprio do indivíduo e pelos gêneros nos quais lhe atrai, tais como: hétero-, homo-, bi-, poli-, pan-, omni-, a-, pomo-, skolio-, entre outros ilimitados rótulos.

Uma considerável parte das pessoas tende a estabelecer uma associação predominante entre o conceito de "orientação" e sua conotação puramente "sexual". Contudo, a atração humana abrange uma ampla diversidade de tipos de atração, englobando não somente a dimensão sexual, mas também as esferas romântica, estética, emocional, sensual, squish, intelectual, platônica, entre outras. Nesse contexto, é pertinente compreender que a "orientação" pode englobar não apenas o aspecto "sexual", mas também o "romântico" ou outras nuances igualmente pertinentes.

Por exemplo:

Atração Estética: Refere-se à apreciação da beleza física de uma pessoa.

Esteticidade / orientação estética: Trata-se do padrão de atração estética direcionado a um ou mais gêneros específicos.

Sufixos:

- Para adjetivo, utiliza-se "-estétique", como "biestétique".

- Para condição, utiliza-se "-esteticidade", como "biesteticidade".

Exemplos incluem "heteroestétique" (atração estética por um gênero distinto do próprio), "homoestétique" (atração estética pelo mesmo gênero), "biestétique" (atração estética por mais de um gênero), "panestétique" (atração estética por pessoas, independentemente de gênero), "aestétique" (ausência de atração estética), entre outros rótulos.

Atração Sensual: Engloba uma atração que se baseia nos sentidos, como o toque, o cheiro, o gosto e outras experiências sensoriais. É uma conexão física e íntima que pode ser profunda e pessoal.

Sensualidade / orientação sensual: Refere-se ao padrão de atração sensual direcionado a um ou mais gêneros específicos.

Sufixos:

- Para adjetivo, utiliza-se "-sensual", como "bisensual".

- Para condição, utiliza-se "-sensualidade", como "bissensualidade".

Exemplos incluem "heterosensual" (atração sensual por um gênero distinto do próprio), "homosensual" (atração sensual pelo mesmo gênero), "bisensual" (atração sensual por mais de um gênero), "pansensual" (atração sensual por pessoas, independentemente de gênero), "assensual" (ausência de atração sensual), entre outros rótulos.

Atração Emocional: É a atração baseada nas emoções e na conexão emocional com alguém, incluindo afeição, afinidade e a sensação de compartilhar sentimentos profundos.

Sufixos:

- Para adjetivo, utiliza-se "-emocional", como "biemocional".

- Para condição, utiliza-se "-emocionalidade", como "biemocionalidade".

Exemplos incluem "heteroemocional" (atração emocional por um gênero disntito do próprio), "homoemocional" (atração emocional pelo mesmo gênero), "biemocional" (atração emocional por mais de um gênero), "panemocional" (atração emocional por pessoas, independentemente de gênero), "aemocional" (ausência de atração emocional), entre outros rótulos.

Entre outros ilimitados rótulos.

Pensando nisso, vejo porquê fazer uma distinção entre o espectro da orientação humana que envolve sexualidade e/ou romanticidade (ou que especifica a ausência de tais) e a parte que engloba toda orientação de natureza não-romântica e não-sexual.

Exorientação / Exoidentidade é um termo guarda-chuva que envolve um conjunto de espectros da orientação humana, tais quais suas respectivas naturezas são não-sexuais e não-românticas. Isso engloba a orientação estética, a orientação sensual, a orientação emocional, dentre outras possibilidades. O termo não descreve uma experiência específica dentro da orientação humana, mas sim uma forma de se referir a toda orientação não-sexual e não-romântica.

Eu criei a bandeira exorientada mais para visibilidade, pois os termos dentro do guarda-chuva exorientado são bem desconhecidos. Ela é composta por 7 cores do arco-íris invertidas na diagonal representando a diversidade da orientação humana, além de 2 faixas brancas representando a liberdade do indivíduo dentro de sua própria mente e a infinidade de tipos de atração e naturezas de tais orientações presentes no guarda-chuva exorientado, um círculo preto fazendo referência a bandeira do orgulho intersexual e representando indivíduos que exprimem ausência de atração (semelhante a assexuais/arromântiques, mas no contexto exorientado).

Potential trigger, hell ... I don't know: Binder stuff.

So, I was one of those trans girls, that you've properly never heard about. Even though I was assigned male at birth, I entered female puberty at around age 11. (Tanner stage 2)

When having to pass as a boy, I had to use elastic medical bindings, I don't think the modern types of chest binders existed or maybe they did. I would have had to ask my parents and I was afraid of what they would do If they found out that I had breasts. (I was afraid they would have them removed)

So I "borrowed" the medical bindings from my parents first aid box.

As I remember it, it made it really really hard to breathe and I got scrapes along my ribs and the clips dug into my skin, very unpleasant, but it made my chest look flat.

I found another way, so didn't have to do that anymore. My body didn't go all the way through puberty and some male traits also emerged.

10 years ago, when last I had a go at it, to go to karate tournaments, the official required chest protector, was essential a binder when it comes to the sports bra part. It also gave a lot of chaffing and made it impossible to breathe properly.

Now, 10 years later, a month till I have to go to tournament, my new chest protector is at the package pickup place and I'm like... Split between crossing my fingers that they changed the design and F my life, they probably f-ing didn't.

Wearing really tight sports bras is super triggering for me, so even my normal, day to day training bra is really uncomfortable.

I ordered it in the largest size which is a circumference of 102cm/40", but my chest circumference is 107cm/42"... So I'm like... Fudge.

 Gender Affirming Care: Evidence-Based Reviews of Legislative Actions < Dean’s Advisory Council on LGBTQI+ Affairs) 

via: Yale School of Medicine: In the face of a recent unprecedented wave of state legislation that has targeted the well-being of gender-expansive youth, faculty members from the Yale Law School, Child Study Center, Department of Psychiatry, and Department of Pediatrics came together to synthesize and disseminate scientific and legal knowledge in support of LGBTQ+ youth and their families. Along with exclusionary measures in school and in sports, new laws have sought to deny access to well-established, lifesaving medical care.

During the first half of 2022 alone, 20 states have introduced medical bans with worsening punishments directed towards healthcare providers and parents. The new laws criminalize standard medical care and interfere in relationships among providers and families, vetoing shared healthcare decisions. In our cross-departmental and interdisciplinary work, we marshal scientific and legal knowledge to lay bare the misinformation used to justify these medical bans. Our team includes specialists in law, child psychology, child and adolescent psychiatry, pediatric endocrinology, and adolescent medicine. Our detailed, evidence-based reports inform litigators, policymakers, journalists, and medical professionals with a common language that upholds the integrity of science, law and public policy. Joining us are colleagues nationwide, including Dr. Laura Kuper (University of Texas Southwestern) and Dr. Hussein Abdul-Latif (University of Alabama Birmingham).
