Please like and reblog if you find this information useful! 🌸🎀💕
//don’t claim it as your own and/or repost it on other platforms//
Traditional tarot timing correspondences
WANDS - rapid action(hours to days), noon and spring
SWORDS - quick but not as fast as wands(days to weeks), morning and spring
CUPS - somehow slow( weeks to months), evening and autumn
PENTACLES - the slowest of all(months to years), midnight and winter
Tumblr media
you can do it in a calendar spread and look for the first card that is the most representative(THE LOVERS, 2 OF CUPS, 9 OF CUPS - wish card, any of THE KNIGHTS, ACE OF CUPS) - in case if you wonder if a relationship will appear in future
the first card will represent the current month when is possible for the relationship to start/appear
if 2 of Cups is the 5th card - a relationship will appear in 5 months from now
you can also look at what sign the card represents and the relationship can start in that sign period

The Fool - Jan 21 – Feb 20 – Spontaneously
The Magician - May 21 – Jun 20, Aug 21 – Sep 20 – Quickly
The High Priestess - Jun 21 – Jul 20 - Night; a new moon; unrevealed
The Empress - Apr 21 – May 20, Sep 21 – Oct 20 - When factors align, 9 months
The Wheel of Fortune - Nov 21 – Dec 20 - Any time & without notice, soon
The Hanged Man - Feb 21 – Mar 20 – Undetermined
The Tower - Mar 21 – Apr 20, Oct 21 – Nov 20 – Abruptly
The Sun - Jul 21 – Aug 20 - Summer; a year
Judgement - Oct 21 – Nov 20 - Winter; stormy weather
The World - Dec 21 – Jan 20 - Slowly
The Moon - a month
The Tower - immediately
Lots of lower numbers - long time
8, 9, 10 - rapid conclusion
Using the numbers of the minor arcana it can be an indicator of when an approaching event may be likely to happen. By using a simple mathematical formula, we can arrive at a projection. number + suit = timing
For example, if the outcome card is the 2 of Wands, we could deduce the following: 2 + days = 2 days
This may suggest the event may happen in two days, or that it will last for two days.

A Message for the Collective
Hi loves,
First, thank you so much for your interest in my private readings. There is much higher demand than I anticipated. This is such a blessing. Thank you for trusting me with your energy.
Repeated messages in the private readings have been:
Oracle card: the deer and oat – healing
Aura Healing
I sense that the collective is embarking on or needs to embark on a healing journey. This is some advice from spirit:
connect with nature - go on hikes or visit parks
Eat healthier food - an emphasis on grains
Explore aura cleaning meditations - for some of you this could help speed up your manifestations
Focus on finding the root of some of the key issues you face - try journaling or speaking aloud to yourself - finding your independent voice is so important
Give yourself the time and space to heal - healing is not linear, nor is it instantaneous
Be kind to yourself and those around you
Sending you peace, love and light,
Sierra xx

5 ways to incorporate tarot insights into your daily life
Tumblr media
1. Let the imagery and symbols speak to you
Use this method to gain deeper insight into your experiences and notice meaningful coincidence or synchronicity.
For example: If you pulled The Magician and the 'infinity' symbol on the card particularly caught your attention, seeing that symbol again as you went about your day could signify synchronicity; you might want to introspect on the meaning of the symbol in your life further.
Tumblr media
2. Let the card help you visualize
Do 10 minutes meditation where you visualize yourself embodying the characteristics represented in the card you pull.
For example: If you pulled The Chariot, meditate on the area of life that is emotionally challenging and visualize yourself feeling determined not to be distracted by your emotions and push forward. Feel the determination in your body, be The Chariot.
Tumblr media
3. Let the card act as your daily/weekly goal
Do a regular tarot draw (daily or weekly) and make the lesson of the card as a reminder or a goal to achieve for that day/week.
For example: If you pulled Temperance for your weekly draw, 'being patient' and 'focusing on the big picture' might be the mindset and approach you should take in that particular week.
Tumblr media
4. Let the card inspire your creativity
If you do creative work, pull a card and let it inspire you in your creation; create art, design or writing based on the card's theme.
For example: If you pulled The Emperor, you could try creating an art or a fictional story that represented the theme of The Emperor. You could also design objects and your surrounding (eg. your personal gym or room) with the theme of The Emperor.
Tumblr media
5. Let the card guide your intention
Take a card that symbolizes the energy you want to bring to a task and make it your intention before you start the task.
For example: If you were about to do something creative and express yourself, you could take The Sun out of the tarot deck and imagine yourself embodying the quality. Start your task with the positivity and openness of The Sun inside you.

Get to know the 🐠 Page of Cups
So sweet. So fun. So naive.
Tumblr media
Remember the game Psychonauts? I literally hadn't thought about it in years, but then I did the formula for rank + suit, and instantly I remembered that strange brilliance. Super Page of Cups vibes when they grow into some dark adolescence.
And that's all I'll say about that.

Beyond the Guidebook: Understanding Tarot Card Symbolism and Interpretation
Tumblr media
When reading tarot, understanding the symbolism behind cards is crucial. It not only adds depth to your readings but also helps you uncover the deeper meaning of the cards and how they relate to one another. Let's explore the significance of repeating suits, numbers, imagery, orientation patterns, and the placement of Major and Minor Arcana cards in tarot readings.
Tarot Card Suits and Their Themes
When a single suit dominates or numbers a reading, it emphasizes the theme associated with that suit: Cups: Emotions, relationships, and matters of the heart Pentacles/Coins: Material wealth, finances, and practical matters Swords: Thoughts, conflicts, and challenges related to ideas Wands/Rods: Inspiration, creativity, and actions or projects
Tarot Card Numbers and Their Significance
Repeating numbers can amplify the energy and significance of that number's symbolism.
Ace: New beginnings, opportunities, or a fresh start Two: Balance, choices, partnerships, and decisions Three: Creativity, collaboration, and growth Four: Stability, structure, and security Five: Change, challenges, and conflicts Six: Harmony, love, and healing Seven: Spirituality, introspection, and assessment Eight: Power, ambition, and movement forward Nine: Completion, fulfillment, and reflection Ten: Endings, culmination, and a sense of closure
Interpretation of Repeating Symbols in Tarot Cards
When you spot recurring symbols, patterns, or themes in multiple cards, consider the following for interpretation:
Consider the Context: Analyze the positions of the cards with repeated imagery. For example, a repeated symbol that appears in a past position could represent past experiences or influences being carried into the future.
Amplification of Themes: Repeating imagery can amplify the themes associated with that symbol. For example, if you have several cards featuring roses, it may highlight the importance of love and beauty in the situation or the need to approach it with care and affection.
Storytelling and Narrative: Repeating imagery can create a narrative within the reading. It can be seen as a sequence of events or a progression of ideas. Consider how the symbols relate to each other and how they tell a story or convey a message.
Personal Significance: Depending on the reader's intuition and the querent's personal connection to certain symbols, repeating imagery can have personal significance. It may trigger specific emotions or memories, offering a more personalized interpretation.
Card Orientation Patterns
If you choose to read reversals, the significance of card orientation in a tarot reading lies in its ability to add layers of interpretation to the cards.
Mostly upright cards: When the majority of the cards in a reading are upright, it often signifies a sense of internal clarity and ease. It suggests that the primary influences on the situation come from external sources and are generally aligned with the card meanings in their traditional sense.
Mix of upright and reversed cards: A balanced mix of both upright and reversed cards offers a holistic view of the situation. It reflects a dynamic interplay between external and internal factors. This combination highlights how external circumstances interact with your inner world and mindset.
Mostly reversed cards: When most of the cards in a reading are reversed, it typically indicates that the energy related to those cards is encountering obstacles or resistance. It can suggest that certain aspects of the situation are blocked and may require a closer look or adjustment. Reversed cards may also point to hidden facets of the situation.
Major and Minor Arcana Placements in Tarot Readings
The placement of Major and Minor Arcana cards often determines how the card's energy is expressed within the context of the reading.
The Major Arcana cards represent significant life events, archetypal energies, and deep spiritual or psychological themes. The more Major Arcana cards that appear in a reading the most of these forces are at work in the situation.
The Minor Arcana cards focus on day-to-day matters, everyday experiences, and practical aspects of life. Court cards (Page, Knight, Queen, King) often represent individuals or personalities. Their placement can reveal people involved in the situation or specific characteristics or qualities they bring to it.
By understanding these aspects of tarot card interpretation, you can unlock the secrets hidden within the cards and provide more meaningful readings for yourself and others.

Quick & Easy Tarot Card Meanings (Yes, All 78)
The Modern Phrasal approach is a novel method of learning tarot.
It queers older card meanings by applying them to a wider context of human life.
Each phrase is built for modern concerns, attention spans, and situations.
I developed the Modern Phrasal Approach during my twenty-two years of tarot study.
Temperance Queer Tarot, my tarot service for queers, feminists, and leftists, has been in operation for the past twelve years.
The Modern Phrasal Approach also comes out of my lifelong work as a poet. I hold an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University.
SLINGSHOT, my first book of poems, won several awards. It also reminded me of the importance of the phrase to language.
The primacy of the phrase is what poetry understands better than all other forms of writing.
The Modern Phrasal Approach combines tarot, storytelling, and poetry to paint a picture of possible futures.
You may notice that there are no reversed card meanings.
This is because the reader is intended to read reverse as a return to the unlearned lessons of the previous card.
That is the best method of reversal reading for this system. Of course, you may elect not to read reversals at all.
Ok, let’s go!

Minor Arcana in tarot🕊🔮🕯✨
When interpreting the Minor Arcana cards in a Tarot reading, it is important to consider the suit, number, and imagery on each card. Pay attention to the emotions, actions, and challenges depicted in the cards, as they provide valuable insights into our daily lives and the steps we need to take to navigate through them.
The Minor Arcana serves as a practical guide to help us understand and navigate the complexities of our everyday lives, guiding us towards personal growth and self-awareness.
Each suit contains cards numbered from Ace to 10, as well as Court cards - Page, Knight, Queen, and King.
These cards represent different stages of development and maturity in each suit.
The Minor Arcana cards represent everyday events, emotions, and challenges that we encounter on a regular basis. They provide guidance and insight into our day-to-day lives and can offer practical advice on how to navigate through obstacles or make decisions.

The Minor Arcana is divided into four suits – Swords, Cups, Wands, and Pentacles – each representing different aspects of our lives such as thoughts and communication, emotions and relationships, creativity and passion, and material wealth and stability.
While the Major Arcana cards may provide more overarching themes and spiritual lessons, the Minor Arcana cards offer specific details and concrete actions to take in our lives. They can represent small victories or challenges, moments of joy or sorrow, and opportunities for growth and development.
So don't underestimate the power of the Minor Arcana cards in a Tarot reading. Pay attention to their messages and let them guide you through the ups and downs of life.
Some common themes that the Minor Arcana cards address include love, relationships, work, challenges, decisions, and personal growth. Each suit (Wands, Cups, Swords, and Pentacles) represents a different aspect of life and can shed light on various areas of your life that may need attention or improvement.
By drawing on the wisdom of the Minor Arcana, you can gain valuable insights into your daily experiences and make more informed decisions that align with your goals and values. Whether you're facing challenges or seeking guidance, the Minor Arcana can provide clarity and direction to help you navigate life's ups and downs with confidence and resilience.
Each suit represents a different aspect of life:
Wands represent creativity, inspiration, and passion.
Cups represent emotions, relationships, and intuition.
Swords represent thoughts, communication, and challenges.
Pentacles represent material aspects such as money, work, and resources.
The numbered cards in each suit typically represent different stages or experiences related to that aspect of life, while the court cards represent different personalities or roles that may come into play. The court cards can also be seen as representing different aspects of ourselves or individuals in our lives.
°✧✿✧°╞══✿════✿══╡°✧✿✧°╞══✿════✿══╡°✧✿✧°
Each card within the Minor Arcana has its own unique meanings and interpretations, which can vary depending on the question asked and the surrounding cards in the spread. Each of these four suits represents a different area of your life, so you know where to direct this guidance when one of these cards shows up in your Tarot reading.
While the suits of the Minor Arcana help show you which area of your life needs attention, exactly what energy is coming your way is determined by the number on the card. The numbers one through ten, plus the court cards, each carry a general energy that can help you better understand the messages of the Minor Arcana:
The number one represents new beginnings, creativity, and initiation. It signifies the start of a journey or project.
The number two represents balance, partnership, and choices. It often indicates a need to make decisions or find harmony in a situation.
The number three represents growth, expansion, and collaboration. It suggests a period of development and working together with others.
The number four represents stability, structure, and security. It indicates a solid foundation and a need to maintain or build upon it.
The number five represents change, conflict, and challenges. It signifies a time of upheaval and the need to adapt or overcome obstacles.
The number six represents harmony, cooperation, and balance. It indicates a period of peace and unity with others.
The number seven represents introspection, analysis, and spirituality. It suggests a need for inner reflection and seeking deeper meaning.
The number eight represents power, success, and accomplishment. It indicates a time of achievement and taking control of a situation.
The number nine represents fulfillment, completion, and attainment. It signifies reaching a goal or receiving a reward for your efforts.
The number ten represents completion, transition, and endings. It indicates the end of a cycle and the start of a new phase in your life.
Court Cards: The court cards (Page, Knight, Queen, King) represent different aspects of personality or situational energies. They can also indicate specific people in your life or qualities you need to embody. Pages represent new beginnings and learning, Knights represent action and movement, Queens represent nurturing and intuition, and Kings represent authority and leadership.

The Rider–Waite divinatory meaning of this card suggests: triumph, the excessive degree in everything, conquest, triumph of force. It is a card of great force, in love as well as in hatred: it can indicate great prosperity or great misery. Reversed - the same but the results are disastrous.
The Ace of swords can also represent new information or communication, new beginnings and possibilities, bad news or good news, ability to think clearly without emotional influence and conceptualization, ability to reinvent ones ideas time and time again.

Tarot: Find missing items by asking 4 questions (1/?)
Tumblr media
I've done this several times with random spreads. I thought about a productive way to do it so I came up with these 4 questions spread. This is the first post of the series. I will create posts on places/objects that Major Arcana may indicate, but I also included some rules of thumb and example in this post.
Tumblr media
1. Think logically
Think about it logically first. When was the last time you saw the item? Where did you often keep/place the item? These obvious questions will help you narrow down the card interpretations.
Tumblr media
2. Ask four questions
Take one card for each question, one so that it won't get confusing. Positions don't matter. You can put back the card after each question and reshuffle, or you can take one card for each question right away. Do what works for you.
With tarot, you need to consider the card meanings. The picture can help but it is not always literal.
Question 1: Is it still possible to find the item?
Rule of thumb: Cards that are associated with positivity, happiness, gaining, having, leftover, going back to the past could mean that it is a YES. Cards that are associated with negativity, ending, losses or losing could mean that it is a NO. Cards that are associated with hard work, effort, process could mean MAYBE.
Question 2: Is it inside OR is it outside
Rule of thumb: Cards that are associated with home, personal space, possession, privacy, self, or cards that literally show you the inside of a building; it means the item is inside a building. Cards that are associated with the public, in nature, movement, away, or cards that literally show you expansive sky or grass field or a person standing outside; it means it's outside. But make sure to look at the meaning of the card.
Question 3: Where is it?
If it is inside, is it in the bedroom or the kitchen? If it is outside, is it on your lawn or in your car? The Hermit could be a place you go to when you want to be alone-- so it could be your favorite corner in your reading room, or your kitchen because you like having a cup of tea when you want some alone time to unwind, The Chariot could mean in your car.
Question 4: What is the nearest object to the missing item?
To zoom in more and guess where the item is exactly. The interpretation works the same as the previous question, consider the meaning first before the picture and then see if there are specific objects that can represent the meaning. Justice? Maybe the nearest object is the agreement you need to sign (i.e contract). Death? Maybe the nearest object is where you throw things away (i.e ending), it could be in the trash can or near dead animals/insects.
Extra Question: Who has the best chance of finding the item?
You can also ask "with whom". Ask this question if you have specific people in mind. You can look at the zodiac signs that are associated with the card, but reading the meaning can help a lot; figure out who fits the card's meaning the most.
Tumblr media
3. Example
Situation: I lost my medical appointment card. I didn't realize when it went missing, I just knew it wasn't in my bag when I looked for it, so it had probably been a few days.
To think logically: I always kept it in my handbag. The only other possible places it could be were somewhere around where I kept my bag (maybe it fell) and with my mom (the last time I went to the clinic I was with her). I checked the surrounding area and I asked my mom, she also searched her car and her handbag (most likely places) and could not find it.
Is it still possible to find the item? The Sun. Strong yes.
Is it inside OR is it outside? 4 of Wands. Inside. Despite depicting somewhere outdoor, 4 of Wands is also associated with home. That was the first thing that came to my mind so that was it.
Where is it? King of Swords. Most likely in someone's workspace, where someone did a lot of thinking and planning.
What is the nearest object to the missing item? The Magician. A lot of different objects/tools were nearby. I also see The Magician as the act of doing a lot of things in one place. So the item could be on a worktable since people usually put a lot of different objects on their table.
Who has the biggest chance of finding the item? I knew if the item could still be found, it was either with me or with my mom. When I asked the question, I got Ace of Swords. Both of us are Gemini. But since Swords is also about communication and to me the Ace has always felt direct and blunt, it was possible that the card was with my mom and I would find out about it through a phone call/text.
So I texted my mom and asked her to check her workspace at home, particularly her worktable, in a box or bag or between books where there were other items nearby. The next day my mom called me to let me know that she found my card, in her small pouch, on her worktable.

If you can't read the cards for whatever reasons, leave the reading for a day or two. And then shuffle your deck and do it again.
