Ok, none of you know what's going on. None of you understand why so many women and young streamers are stepping forward right now. None of you understand why this has to be public.

Multiple large streamers have used their fame, influence, and money to manipulate and abuse those they see as below them. So long as they continue to have fame, influence, and money, this cycle will not end.

This is bigger than just individual cases of sexual assault or other abuse. This is a break down of a much larger problem within the entertainment industry.

These women are telling stories about very powerful men in this space. They are sharing stories of abuse and manipulation. This is very scary for them—it could ruin their careers or lives.

Stop saying "they should have handled this privately." This isn't a private matter. So long as these men have power, they will hurt more women. They aren't sorry. They won't play fair.

By trying to stay silent and bury these accusations, you are ensuring these women never know peace. You are ensuring that more women get hurt.

One day your boss will assault you, and all the men in your life will blame you for waiting as long as you did to speak about it. They will find any reason to blame you. They don't want to get rid of your boss. They hope that one day, they can assault a woman just like you.

This is fucking serious. This is real life. This isn't just some fucking fandom drama that we can bury and move on from. These are real life issues that require real meaningful discussion.

Stop trying to discredit these women just because your streamer is in trouble. You are part of the fucking problem.

so... as many of you know, i have been writing a kit wisp series for about a year now. it's been my biggest passion on this account and i've had so much fun writing it, kit was one of my favorite creators.

recently, lexie marie came out with her own story of abuse, and a lot of people are saying it was at the hands of kit. as far as i know, she's never named him, and he's not made a statement, there's nothing in his discord. this is not me saying i don't believe it!! i would just like to know where it came from as i haven't had time to watch the vod because i've been working.

if it's confirmed him, i will be discontinuing the lover series. as much as it breaks my heart, i cannot continue to write about somebody like that, i hope everybody understands.

i stand with all the lovely and talented women coming forward with their stories. support shelby. support caiti. support lexie. support alice. support andi. support all these beautiful souls who endured absolutely deplorable treatment from men of power.

Some Sonic Headcanons :

- Sonic will have casual conversations with Wisps without any sort of translator. Does he actually understand what the wisps are saying? Probably not, but he nods his head and listens.

- Tails leaves feeders and small houses around his workshops for traveling Flickies. He originally only ever left feeders until Belle taught him how to build Flicky Houses. The Flickes gladly appreciate the sanctuaries and will repay the offer by helping Tails maintain tools & parts while he's working on projects.

- Amy will visit Knuckles on Angel Island. They do sparing matches & training together.

- Amy, Rouge, Blaze & Wave try to schedule mall trips together, but they often end up getting interrupted by something, and they have to cancel. It's very hard to plan, but it is definitely worth it when everything works out.

- Tails, Kit, Doll & Sage meet up like once a month to discuss FNAF theories. They're nerds.

- Team Dark does unplanned group therapy sessions at like 3am in their apartment.

- Tangle and Sonic do parkour together and run a video channel about it. (Or at least did until they both forgot the password to the account)

so everyone in my original shatterspace has a wisp partner, right? BUT there are a few notable exceptions. callisto, of course, because he IS a wisp. and syzygy, because his wisp met an "unfortunate end"... but what does that mean, exactly?

WELL... to explain THAT, i'm first gonna have to explain what the fuck is up with north (aka starline). obviously, eggman doesn't exist in this universe. but gerald DOES. so, north is obsessed with gerald's old research into wisps. eventually, he finds out about project callisto... but the documents he discovers claim it was "a failure."

so, what does mr egotistical do? he assumes he can do it better, of course!

north starts kidnapping children and wisps for his experiment. attempting to fuse them together to create an ultimate being. he goes through many subjects, including his own wisp, which he saw as forfeit in the pursuit of scientific progress.

(therefore, north is another character who doesn't have a wisp. because he killed it. on purpose. yeah.)

eventually, he's able to create a stable subject--this universe's version of kit. but where did he get the wisp from? well... let's just say when syzygy digs a half-frozen, almost dead kit out of the snow in deepfreeze, he feels a strange sense of familiarity with him, despite never having met him before...

it had been around a month since y/n and kit exchanged numbers, and they'd been on two and a half dates since then. technically it had been three, but one of them had to be cut short to rescue jago, who had locked himself out again. kit had kissed her for the first time after that one.

y/n didn't know how kit felt about their situation, but she liked him. really, really liked him. she wanted to be his, but she didn't want to rush things. she could only hope he felt the same way as her.

she was currently getting ready to hang out with kit and a few friends. it would be the two of them, jago, niki, and henry. she knew niki pretty well, but it was new to be around henry and jago this much. she wasn't complaining, it was fun. they were fun. not to mention how nice it felt to be brought around his friends, it was almost like he was showing her off. she blushed at the thought and went back to doing her hair.

while doing her makeup, she found herself deep in thought again. just a year ago her life had been california beaches and sunny skies. she'd spent her saturday nights drinking illegally with her old boyfriend, wearing denim shorts and sunglasses on the sand. now she spent her weekends in pubs with her friends with funny accents, laughing and drinking legally until the sun came up. now she rode trains instead of driving, and her usually blue skies were tinted a cool grey. somehow, that made her happier.

she did sometimes miss where she came from. visions would dance in her head of sunsets on the sunny coast, remembering the way the wind would blow through her hair, the feeling of the sand beneath her toes. her parents, malcolm, everybody that used to be familiar back there. it all seemed so foreign to her now.

she took herself out of her thoughts, at least long enough to apply lipstick and head out the door. she put her earbuds in and tried to find something to listen to as she made her way to the train. she laughed at herself as she clicked on taylor swift yet again. it felt like a 1989 day today.

when she eventually made it to kit and jago's place, she knocked on the door. it ended up being jago answering, and he all but screamed into the house, "KIT, YOUR GIRLFRIEND'S HERE!"

kit never corrected him.

everyone spent the day at kit's until they decided to go out as a group. the night was spent window shopping, getting food and drinks at a pub, and walking down by the sea. the cool air nipped at y/n's nose and fingers, prompting her to keep her hands in her jacket pockets. at least, the hand that wasn't being held gently in kit's.

eventually they wandered back to the flat, everybody giving their goodbyes and begrudgingly going on their way until all that was left was jago (who very quickly excused himself), y/n and kit.

"can i walk you back to the train?" kit asked her.

she smiled, giving his hand a gentle squeeze. "i'd like that very much."

hand in hand, the pair of them made their way to where the train would pick y/n up. the walk was mostly silent, which was awkward, but an endearing kind of awkward. the kind of awkward where the both of them would sneak glances at each other and blush if the other caught them. the kind of awkward where the they wore matching idiotic smiles on their faces and gripped each other's hands with gentle excitement.

eventually, their sweet little walk had to end, and they arrived at the stop, where the train had just pulled up. it would be leaving in just a few minutes. kit moved to stand in front of y/n, grabbing her other hand so he was now holding both. "y/n, i um...", he started awkwardly.

the girl tilted her head slightly, making eye contact that he quickly broke. he turned his head to the side, but y/n didn't miss the blush adorning his cheeks. "i've been having a really good time hanging out with you, and i was just wondering... well i don't know, if you maybe wanted to be my girlfriend? like, officially. i just, i really fancy you."

she smiled, a blush creeping up on her own cheeks now. "kit, i would love to be your girlfriend."

he let out a breathy laugh of relief, visibly relaxing. "oh thank goodness, i don't know what i would've done if you'd rejected me!" y/n joined him in his relieved laughter. "i'd never reject you, kit, are you kidding?"

kit stepped closer to her, gently cupping her face in his hands. "may i?", he asked, still smiling. she nodded, and he closed the distance, kissing her softly. he pulled away, which allowed her to get on the train, but not before she gave him a brief kiss on the cheek. "goodbye, kit."

he waved at her with a sweet smile on his face, effectively turning her insides to jelly, and as she took her seat the train began to move. y/n began heading home with nothing but kit on her mind.

What if Tails and Kit were best friends.

I think that would be great! Unfortunately, I don't think it has a shot at happening in canon for a long time. :(

When the covers where Tails is holding Kit were first released, I made an "it's free brother" meme for Tails, referencing how he seemed to just pick Kit up and carry him off. (Which he does, albeit to save his life rather than for any other reason.) And as you perhaps saw in that little ficlet I wrote, I would like to think that Kit would recognize that Tails' kindness was genuine and that he wouldn't want to hurt Tails anymore, even though he still absolutely will if that's what Surge needs him to do. (Because he'll do whatever Surge needs him to do. His moral compass begins and ends at, "What will serve Surge best?") But even though I wrote that, I think it's probably just wishful thinking. I think that Kit is absolutely going to think that Sonic deliberately lied to him about Surge being dead so that Kit wouldn't be able to help Surge, thereby allowing Sonic an easy win. And I think that it's entirely possible (perhaps even probable) that he's going to see Tails' kindness as more manipulation to a.) stop Kit from drowning him, and b.) keep Kit from helping Surge since that's what Sonic needs. Which in fairness, Tails did not want to be drowned and was trying to de-escalate the situation so that he wouldn't be drowned, but that doesn't mean his compassion was a lie. But I don't think Kit will see it that way.

The problem is that, right now, most everything Kit knows about people and how the world works has been fed to him by Starline and Surge. Starline made sure through weeks (months? I know Kit went down a lot faster than Surge but I can't remember the exact number of days right now) of actual hypnosis and brainwashing that Kit knew that his sole purpose in life is to serve Surge and do whatever it is that she wants or needs. And Surge has made sure that Kit knows that not only will she berate, beat, and perhaps even murder him if he so much as doubts her, but also that she is the only person he can trust thanks to the truth about what Starline did to them coming out. At this point in time, Kit has every reason to believe that no one would be kind to him for the sake of being kind. Starline was manipulating him. In her own way, Surge is too—but that's okay in his eyes, because that's her right. He's there to be used by her, so if she uses him, well, that's just the natural order of things. But Sonic and Tails don't have that right unless Surge is gone. And she's not gone, and Sonic lied about it, and Tails must've known that Sonic lied about it, so Tails is culpable, too. I think that's how Kit will probably see it, anyway.

It would obviously be best for Kit if he were to spend time around people who were genuinely kind to him, and tbh if he got a therapist to help him work through all of the programming and abuse he's suffered at the hands of both Starline and Surge. (Because while Surge was absolutely abused by Starline as well, that doesn't excuse or make acceptable her abuse of Kit. She literally threatens to "drown him with his own tails" because he's worried about her / afraid of her screaming and threatening him. I love Surge to death, but she is not good for this boy right now.) But I don't think that's going to happen any time soon. Narratively, he's still way too attached to Surge and will undoubtedly maim or kill anyone who gets between him and her. And from a meta standpoint, I think the IDW writers are going to want to keep Surge and Kit as villains for a while since their rogues gallery of non-Eggman villains is stretched so thin, especially with Starline being perma-dead for now. I mean, that's why the Zeti came back in the comics (and also recent spinoff games); there just aren't any other non-Eggman villains to pull from because they all either get killed or redeemed. So I think that any redemptions for Kit and Surge are going to be put off for a long time. (And they are such cool characters that I would rather redemption than death, but we'll see.) It's also why Mimic got let out of jail so soon after he was put in; he's more useful out where he can cause damage than in jail where he can't do much of anything. (With that said though, if he harms one hair on Whisper's head I will burn him to the ground. Surge is also on thin ice for that. I mean I'm fine with Surge beating the shit out of just about anyone else, she can have a little wanton violence as a treat, but Whisper has been through enough, leave Whisper alone!!)

But if Kit does eventually get some help, and starts seeing himself as a person outside of just an asset for Surge to use as she pleases, I would definitely like to see a friendship between him and Tails. I think it'd be really cute for Tails to have a little brother of his own (because I imagine Kit is at least a couple years younger—but then again, fennec foxes are small in general so it's possible he's even a little older than Tails, but just very short). I also think it'd be cute if they had a friendly rivalry over inventions and technology. Because yes, Eggman is Tails' intellectual rival, but Eggman is also the big bad of the series and as such not really someone that Tails can learn and grow from in a positive way. I think that Tails and Kit building off each other and acting as rivals in a way that Sonic and Knuckles or Sonic and Shadow do would be really cute. And I think Sonic would be happy that Tails has that, too—happy that Tails has someone that he can geek out over technology with. But if that does happen, it sadly probably won't be for a very long time.
