How are the gang’s relationship with their parents(and extended family)

OH BOI this took a lot especially because I had to think and RETHINK relationships and stuff, but here we go!

Abby's Family

Abby lives with her parents since she's still studying (and a minor too). They're still in a good relationship, as close as ever, and with new people around the house! Her older brother Jacob and his son Simon are living at her home since Jacob got a new job at Mr. Boss' company (his other kid and wife are living at their house in the next city, but they see each other in the weekends and often visit them at Abby's home!). Only problem is with Cree: since she got married in secret, she's seen less and less at the house, also because she moved with her new husband. Her and Abby don't talk anymore after a huge fight they had some years before. Jacob too doesn't talk to her too much, for some reason.

Also, they all love Hoagie, he's always welcome in the house! Sometimes they force Abby to invite him over...

Wally's Family

Wally too still lived with his parents and Joy at their house, but things are not too good. Wally doesn't have a good relationship with his mother anymore, they mostly scream at each other and argue a lot. His father keeps out of their arguments, doesn't even try to mitigate them anymore at this point; if they start, he just takes Joey to the living room to watch TV or something. Sydney has a better relationship with him, even if Wally never wants to talk about his problems with him. Teenagers...

At least things calm down when Kuki's over; they all love the girl!

He's incredibly close to Joey. The two spend a lot of time together, Wally allows him in his room whenever he wants, plays with him sometimes and also lets him sleep in his bed!

Also, since Lou and Syd reconnected, sometimes he hangs around the house too, if they need a babysitter for Joey. Wally... tolerates him. He's good at videogames, at least.

Kuki's Family

Kuki too lives with his family: her parents and Mushi. Her parents are still strict and serious, maybe a bit demanding now that she's in high school, but she handles it pretty good most of the times. But things are not good. Her parents barely talk to each other without arguing, and it is starting to take a tool on her. Also, they don't like Wally at all, considering him a "no good imbecile punk".

She isn't allowed to have him at home, Kani also doesn't want him to get NEAR the house, so sometimes Kuki has to get out without them knowing. But they ALWAYS get to know what she does, and it's because Mushi always tells on her.

The little girl somehow managed to get out of her lifelong grounding, and is now her dad's favorite girl. She's like one of those Delightfuls: a spoiled educated kid who always does what adults say.

Hoagie's Family

Hoagie still lives with his mom, his grandmother (when she wants to hang around) and his brother Tommy. Everything's fine on this side, luckly! His mom still works at Mr. Boss' company, but managed to become Head of Marketing, so she has a lot to do and not too much time to spend home. Hoagie makes sure everything is always ready and clean, cooks for everyone (and he's even GOOD at it!), takes care of laundry and makes sure Tommy showers AT LEAST once at week. He's the man of the house! Especially since no one knows or cares where his father is, at this point.

Abby's always welcome to their house, but Betty always asks to invite her when she's home too, so they can talk! She loves the girl!

His grandma usually hisses at her. Tommy too.

AND FINALLY I CAN ADD Nigel's Family

After getting his house back when he turned 18, Nigel lived alone in a house that slowly started looking like a messy prison: dirty dishes, clothes everywhere, dust and cracks. The only rooms that were intact were his parent's bedroom (which he started to sleep in) and his old bedroom, that he never entered since he went back. Penny arrived at the right time, as he needed something to get himself together and remember why he was still there and fighting in the TND: for the sake of kids all around the world. The same kids his parents protected as long as they could. Penny claimed the bedroom and is thinking of adding mermaid touches EVERYWHERE. The house still needs cleaning tho.

They're so back. Messy love wins.

AMC Networks has signed an Interim Agreement with SAG-AFTRA to resume production on a select few shows which includes INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE and THE WALKING DEAD spin-offs DARYL DIXON

and THE WALKING DEAD: THE ONES WHO LIVE starring TWD alums Andrew Lincoln and Danai Gurira.

What signing to the Interim Agreement means is that these productions have agreed to the terms that SAG-AFTRA is seeking in negotiations. When SAG-AFTRA and the AMPTP agree to a new contract (whenever that may be), if the terms of the new agreement are more favourable than what is in the interim agreement, that finalized agreement with the AMPTP will supersede the interim agreement and the talent will get whatever that contract reflects.

I'm of two minds on Interim Agreements. On one hand, it gets people back to work so that they can have income and that's great. On the other, these agreements give way to content which will eventually end up an AMPTP repped platform so they are passing on the opportunity to starve the studios of content which could show the studios that they cannot survive without the contributions of writers and actors. If streamers and networks saw their ratings and/or subscriber base go into freefall due to lack of content, that would hopefully make them realize how they need to do right by the affected.

And SAG-AFTRA realized that this is a side-effect, so they revamped their restrictions and now they won't grant Interim Agreeemnts to WGA projects so as to not stymy their strike.

So...glad these shows have made a way back, but I am hoping that a resolution is near so that these Interim Agreements won't create a further schism amongst the membership.

quinton reviews x jacob geller fan fiction where the story begins with the two of them sitting in a park, jacob outlining the history of the four canonical modes of Renaissance painting, describing the dramatic contrast of chiaroscuro, the melodic dissonance of cangiante, the hazy placidity of sfumato, and the harmonic balance of unione. quinton then goes on to relate each of these modes to a teenager in a nickelodeon sitcom with great thoughtfulness and care, even citing the sfumato utilized in the mona lisa as ancestral to gibby from icarly's cherubic face. then they fuck nasty in a truck stop off of US route 50 and never see each other again

The more I think about it, they should have just used Lincoln.

Introduce him early on as a contact of Bruce’s for the whole “Batman’s last case” thing. He’s still an up-and-coming politician, so the Knights aren’t sure what to make of him.

Establish trust by saving him from a Talon, with added benefit of giving that enemy type a better intro.

Show him butting heads with Catherine, a character players are already primed to dislike, thereby helping solidifying that trust.

At a critical moment, Lincoln’s “assassinated”, and evidence is found pointing to Jacob. He holes up in KI and the mission to catch him goes more or less as normal, albeit with the stuff about his crimes being more ambiguous.

At the end of the mission, Talia still kills Jacob.

Then, oops, surprise! Lincoln’s not dead. He was the Voice all along, and the whole thing was a ruse to catch Jacob, who was investigating rumors of the Court because he suspected them of having a hand in his sister’s murder. They already knew the League was gunning for them anyway, and they figured they could draw two enemies out into the open at once.

From there the plot mostly plays out as normal, maybe with a little more attention paid to the whole “Talons vs Man-Bats” thing that the game sets up and then just sort of forgot about.

Instead of some rando showing up at the end, it’s Lincoln, a character we know and hate and now have the satisfaction of watching eat an exploding batplane for dinner.

There, that took me half an hour, and I know there are people working at WB that could turn it into something workable.

Dear Gus & Magnus,

One of my favorite parts of Thanksgiving is the day after, when I've already done the recon work on the food options, but I've got an empty stomach. And people are no longer rushing around to get to all the places they have to go, so things feel more relaxed all the way around. Mom worked today, so Magnus and I picked up Gus at YP's and went to Nene's. After Mags's nap, we went down to Nana's and joined the pack. The kids all played together, we took rides on the Mule (automobile, not equine), and we studied the neighbor's pig, among other things.

Magnus took a tumble off the Mule right after we took this picture and hit his head on the concrete, which mostly brought the day's fun to an end. He got a big knot, but he recovered quickly. John (optometrist) examined his eyes to check for signs of concussion, but said he saw no evidence.

History of Wear a Dress Day

Certainly the hard-fought battle making it acceptable for women to wear pants if they want was an important part of the feminist movement of the late 19th and early 20th centuries. And though it is certainly every woman’s right now to wear trousers, vote, participate in the workplace and do pretty much anything a man does – this doesn’t mean she shouldn’t have the option to wear a dress every once in a while if she chooses!

Wear a Dress Day offers women a reminder that it can be fun, feminine and enjoyable to get dressed up just a bit, just because. So, the premise is easy and the instructions are in the name. Simply wear a dress!

Wear a Dress Day seems to have gotten its start in Bend, Oregon in 2010 when a group of folks were talking about how beautiful dresses are and how women might want to wear them more often. The day soon spread through social media (it even had its own Facebook page for a while) and grew in numbers to reach more than 100,000 people in that first year.

Since that time, Wear a Dress Day has been celebrated each year at the beginning of June. And some die hard participants celebrate the day twice a year, by wearing a dress on the first day of December as well.

How to Celebrate Wear a Dress Day

Enjoy the delight of embracing that feminine side and getting dressed up in a skirt or a dress just for the fun of it on Wear a Dress Day. Observe the day with some of these ideas and activities:

Wear a Dress, of course!

Certainly the thing to do on a day such as today is to pull a dress out of the back of the closet and wear it! For women who wear a dress on the regular, this might not be that shocking but can still be fun. But for those who typically have a life uniform of jeans and a t-shirt (or for the Hilary-Clinton-inspired women who normally wear pantsuits), Wear a Dress Day can certainly be a departure from the norm.

And, hey, who says this day only has to be for women? Perhaps some men want to get in on the action of Wear a Dress Day and surprise their coworkers or family members by donning a dress! It’s only fair and equal, after all.

Go Dress Shopping

Perhaps it has been a very long time since the need for a dress has arisen. So Wear a Dress Day can be the perfect excuse to go shopping for a new dress that will fit and flatter that beautiful figure. Perhaps it will be in a boutique scenario like the one on Rodeo Drive à la Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Or maybe it will be more like digging through discount racks or even a thrift store to see what vintage styles can be found. In any case, be sure to have fun!
