How are the gang’s relationship with their parents(and extended family)

OH BOI this took a lot especially because I had to think and RETHINK relationships and stuff, but here we go!

Abby's Family

Abby lives with her parents since she's still studying (and a minor too). They're still in a good relationship, as close as ever, and with new people around the house! Her older brother Jacob and his son Simon are living at her home since Jacob got a new job at Mr. Boss' company (his other kid and wife are living at their house in the next city, but they see each other in the weekends and often visit them at Abby's home!). Only problem is with Cree: since she got married in secret, she's seen less and less at the house, also because she moved with her new husband. Her and Abby don't talk anymore after a huge fight they had some years before. Jacob too doesn't talk to her too much, for some reason.

Also, they all love Hoagie, he's always welcome in the house! Sometimes they force Abby to invite him over...

Wally's Family

Wally too still lived with his parents and Joy at their house, but things are not too good. Wally doesn't have a good relationship with his mother anymore, they mostly scream at each other and argue a lot. His father keeps out of their arguments, doesn't even try to mitigate them anymore at this point; if they start, he just takes Joey to the living room to watch TV or something. Sydney has a better relationship with him, even if Wally never wants to talk about his problems with him. Teenagers...

At least things calm down when Kuki's over; they all love the girl!

He's incredibly close to Joey. The two spend a lot of time together, Wally allows him in his room whenever he wants, plays with him sometimes and also lets him sleep in his bed!

Also, since Lou and Syd reconnected, sometimes he hangs around the house too, if they need a babysitter for Joey. Wally... tolerates him. He's good at videogames, at least.

Kuki's Family

Kuki too lives with his family: her parents and Mushi. Her parents are still strict and serious, maybe a bit demanding now that she's in high school, but she handles it pretty good most of the times. But things are not good. Her parents barely talk to each other without arguing, and it is starting to take a tool on her. Also, they don't like Wally at all, considering him a "no good imbecile punk".

She isn't allowed to have him at home, Kani also doesn't want him to get NEAR the house, so sometimes Kuki has to get out without them knowing. But they ALWAYS get to know what she does, and it's because Mushi always tells on her.

The little girl somehow managed to get out of her lifelong grounding, and is now her dad's favorite girl. She's like one of those Delightfuls: a spoiled educated kid who always does what adults say.

Hoagie's Family

Hoagie still lives with his mom, his grandmother (when she wants to hang around) and his brother Tommy. Everything's fine on this side, luckly! His mom still works at Mr. Boss' company, but managed to become Head of Marketing, so she has a lot to do and not too much time to spend home. Hoagie makes sure everything is always ready and clean, cooks for everyone (and he's even GOOD at it!), takes care of laundry and makes sure Tommy showers AT LEAST once at week. He's the man of the house! Especially since no one knows or cares where his father is, at this point.

Abby's always welcome to their house, but Betty always asks to invite her when she's home too, so they can talk! She loves the girl!

His grandma usually hisses at her. Tommy too.

AND FINALLY I CAN ADD Nigel's Family

After getting his house back when he turned 18, Nigel lived alone in a house that slowly started looking like a messy prison: dirty dishes, clothes everywhere, dust and cracks. The only rooms that were intact were his parent's bedroom (which he started to sleep in) and his old bedroom, that he never entered since he went back. Penny arrived at the right time, as he needed something to get himself together and remember why he was still there and fighting in the TND: for the sake of kids all around the world. The same kids his parents protected as long as they could. Penny claimed the bedroom and is thinking of adding mermaid touches EVERYWHERE. The house still needs cleaning tho.

What do you think of the Sanban Family?

Kuki (Numbuh 3), Mushi, Genki and Kani

Kuki was my favourite sector v member before it became Hoagie, and I still really like her! I think they did a good job writing an archetype that could become really annoying but managing to avoid that. She seems almost like a deconstructed version, being much more aware and intelligent than the generic ‘ditzy nice girl’ character. Also her rage fits are done well. I like that op Interviews confirms that her ditzy personality is somewhat an act, since it was something I picked up on from as early as Season 2.

Mushi’s cool and I like how much of nuisance she is. I just think it’s funny that she makes other choices look a bit pathetic, like wow you can’t defeat a dang five year old?

I don’t really have much of an opinion on Genki and Kani. I like how initially they seem very different from Kuki but you can tell where she picked up some of her behaviour from them. Idk they seem like good parents too

Personality: There's more than meets the eye in the case of Rin beetles, but the two traits most people enjoy the most are that they’re considerate and Happy. Of course she’s also instinctive, sharing and cheerful, but far less strongly and often mixed with being insecure as well.

Their passionate nature though, this is what they’re most well-liked for. Nobody's perfect of course and Rin has rotten moods and days too. Her Possessive and controlling nature can cause things to heat up, both personally and for others. Fortunately their caring nature usually softens the worst of it.

Appearance: They have Almond pine-green eyes. Their thick, straight, brown hair is worn in a style that reminds you of a turtle's shell. They’re of average height and weight, and can't be bothered with fashion.

I'd like to introduce my new KND ocs, Kiki (the one wearing pink with hearts) and Makiko (the one wearing blus with butterflies) Sanban, the older, beautiful (headcannon) twin sisters of Kani Sanban and the aunts of Kuki and Mushi Sanban. Sadly, it was because of their success as Geishas that caused their younger brother's personality (there must have been a reason for the irritableness we saw from this guy) due to feeling insecure and inferior as Kani saw how much they've earned from their career. Appearance: Chieko is a 5′6″ girl with a slightly muscular build. Her hair is rusty brown in color and naturally a wavy-curly texture. She typically wears it in a messy bun with straightened blunt-bangs. She’s normally seen wearing pastel clothing and dark-colored platform boots as well as a black leather jacket with her gang symbol in hot pink (not pictured). Almost no one knows what her face looks like as she’s seen wearing a white silicone rabbit face mask covering it or a white bandana resembling a rabbits’ mouth and whiskers with golden vintage Chanel sunglasses.

Background:

Being born into her parents’ failing and abusive relationship was hard on Chieko and she was somewhat relieved when the two split. She grew up with her mother, Mushi Sanban, who raised her well and did her best to be the best mother she could be, she had the money to care and provide for her as well as get her a few luxury items here and there but was absent from her life. She was basically raised by her Aunt and her family and learned early on that the best way to get her mothers’ attention was to cause trouble. She quickly formed into a rather troublesome kid, always picking fights and disrupting her school classes which shocked many due to the fact that she still managed to keep all her grades up. Eventually, Chieko ventured into gang life, joining a small street gang around her home town. After being arrested for a crime related to the gang, Chieko and her mother moved to Townsville, forcing her to leave the former gang she ran. Chieko, not wanting to be known by anyone in her town due to her mothers’ relationship history basically being known by everyone but in the form of various rumors, started hiding her face with a hoodie and shades. She skipped school until she eventually dropped out, infuriating Mushi. The two got into an argument and Chieko ran away for 4 days, coming back with paperwork for her Emancipation (of Minors) and forcing her mother to sign it. After this, things kind of fell together for Chieko. She dropped out of school and started her infamous gang (The Faceless) with the trust fund money her other mother, Princess, had for her years ago. She quickly became a massive power and feared amongst the people, with her identity and general looks being unknown to them she became an enigma, much to her enjoyment.

Personality:

Chieko is known to be a very mysterious and eerie person. She’s well calculated and intelligent, being able to learn things fairly easy and quickly. She’s also rather tough, both mentally/emotionally and physically, being able to withstand a long period of both verbal and physical blows. Chieko has a quick temper and is always suspicious of those around her and isn’t exactly the most merciful of people. She’s quick to act when someone’s broken her trust or betrayed her in some way and doesn’t give second chances nor forgive.

Trivia:

Most of the clothes she wears outside of the gang are designer.

She owns a custom made Tesla, it’s all black with the symbol/logo of her gang being on the gas tank in hot pink.

She likes self-care and cares a lot for her appearance, even if people don’t see it often.

S5 Ep 18 HOTSTUFF

How could you say no to this face?

Things to remember from this ep:

Kani Sanban is stingy with the heating to save money.

Sector V starts every morning with a debreifing containing a report from global command.

Global command thinks cauliflower is rainbow monkey brains.

Kani Sanban has moved into the Sector V treehouse at least once.

There’s a Sector P in Pompeii with active members and “experience with volcanoes”.

Entering a volcano is done via HOTSHOT. A small ship encased in a giant icecube and launched via giant slingshot.

Sector V’s freezer contains “nothing but icecream and soda” notably triple pop soda. Kani Sanban has had it as a kid.

Sector V parents are entirely unbothered by their kids and their friends pulling 2x4 weapons on them.

Thermostat related fire powers are resistant to icecream, unlike Father.

S4 Ep 4 CLUES

It was Mushi at the kitchen table with a fork!

Things to remember from this ep:

Mrs. Gilligan lets her sons tinker with the wiring of her house.

She’s very nervous about the dinner and hopes desperately to impress the Sanbans.

Mrs. Sanban is Mrs. Gilligan’s boss. She doesn’t relax outside of work and insists employees address her as “Madam Head of Accounting Mrs. Sanban”.

Mushi’s airhead act includes lots of physical affection.

Hoagie’s grandma’s given name is Lydia. Also Betty, her daughter, openly informs her guests she attempted to make her mother unavailable for dinner and failed.

“How do I do what? What are you a cop?” What a legend.

The Tommy attempts to eat alone.

Posh Party Rainbow Monkey has real care and share sighing. Also it’s mouth moves when it sighs. Adorable.

Tommy thinks Rainbow Monkeys are lame.

Lydia beats children with her cane. I take back my claim that she’s a legend. She dared lay a hand on sunshine incarnateKuki.

Kani Sanban is very bad at interpreting his daughters’ interactions. He reads everything as fighting.

Tommy rewired his 2x4 generator recently and it’s caused the lighting to go on the fritz.

Kuki mourns Rainbow Monkeys like people.

Hoagie has a switch to lock down all the doors and windows in his house.

Also everyone at this dinner just went along with investigating the Rainbow Monkey’s murder and Hoagie is now walking on the table.

Tommy cracks easily under brotherly pressure.

Lydia admits to being old and mean.

I swear every time Mushi speaks all I hear is Timmy Turner and I hate it.

Mushi did it.

What is with the kuki and mushi growing sharp teeth and other things?? This is a cartoon but why?

Mrs. Gilligan has got a promotion out of this silly Clue reference dinner.

Hoagie ate the whole turkey and it’s stuffing while his mom was answering the door. Also Mrs. Sanban caught Hoagie admitting too much.
