Springtime in the Seireitei is always beautiful, the warm breeze flowing across your faces as both you rest in a beautiful field of wildflowers. It's rare that neither of you had to work and moments like this were precious.

"No, like this Izzy," you giggle as you show him how to weave the flower stems so that they remain braided together. His long dextrous fingers, so clever when it came to certain things, were fumbling over the blooms.

"You make it look so easy Y/n," he chuckles with a tinge of embarrassment. "I guess I'm just not good at this."

"We all have our weaknesses," you tease and show him your completed flower crown, drawing a look of warm appreciation in his blue eyes.

"My king," you say endearingly, placing the crown delicately on his head, cherishing the way he blushes.

"My queen," he replies tenderly, drawing you against him, making your heart skip a beat. "I've missed you."

He brushes your noses together before pushing your hair away from your face. His lips brush delicately against yours, a sweet invitation, and you melt into his affections.

His hands begin to undo your shihakushō, making you blush. He grasps your chin to gaze into your pretty eyes.

"There's no one around. Let me admire you, my sweet blossom."

The scent of wildflowers covers both of you as he takes his time, letting you know how much he loves you.

Looking out over the roof of the Seireitei building, Izuru's downtrodden expression slowly began to melt into a smile once he saw you approaching the Third Division squad barracks.

“Hello, Bluebell. Ready for our lunch?” He asked, holding a brown hand-woven picnic basket out on his arm.

“I’m ready, Zuzubear!” You beamed, Flash-Stepping up onto the roof to join him. His cheeks blushed bright pink as he set the basket down and spread out a red-and-white-checkered blanket.

“Zuzubear? That’s a new one…” He quietly mumbled with the ghost of a smile arcing across his lips.

“Yeah! Or,” You sidled up beside him and made your eyebrows jump suggestively, “would you prefer for me to keep calling you ‘Fat Dick Zu’?”

Izuru choked on his salilva, the blush now BRIGHT RED across the apples of his cheeks and the bridge of his nose.

“Maybe not talk so loud, yeah?” He whispered with a shake to his voice, looking over the edge of the roof to see a few squad members passing by, chatting idly.

You waved a hand dismissively and sat criss-cross applesauce on the blanket with him.

“Oh, they can’t hear us. Besides, it’s the truth, is it not?” You laughed once he turned his head bashfully.

The two of you went on about your lunch, chatting about your mornings and making plans to get together for drinks with Renji, Shuuhei, and Rangiku after the workday was completed.

“I miss you so much these days, you know. With you being promoted to Captain it’s like I hardly ever get to see you anymore.” You sighed as you laid back on the blanket, forearm placed over your eyes to block the stream of sunlight beaming down on the both of you.

Izuru took a sip of his tea and gently placed the cup back down on the saucer.

“You’re right, and I apologize for that, Bluebell. You know what, how about instead of drinks with the others we go out on a date. Just the two of us. Wherever you want to go.”

“That sounds amazing, Zu!” You quickly sat up, excited about the prospect of spending an intimate evening alone with your handsome beau.

The blonde smiled softly and leaned across the blanket to press a chaste kiss to your lips. In turn, you rested your palm against his cheek and stroked his jaw lovingly before gently biting down on his lower lip.

The kiss turned heated within a matter of minutes as the two of you now sloppily made out in broad daylight on top of the roof.

Izuru was the first to pull away, no surprise. His bang was mussed and a small trickle of sweat beaded down his forehead - whether from the sun or the kissing, you weren’t certain.

“You’re going to be the death of me one of these days, Bluebell.” He laughed and used his thumb to wipe away a trickle of saliva from your bottom lip.

“Not if you’re the death of me first, ‘Fat Dick Zu.’” You chortled and took his hand into yours, rubbing over the knuckles gently.

“I love you so much, Y/N…more than I think I’ve ever loved anyone…” He confessed, pressing his forehead against yours as he brought his arms around you in a loving embrace.

“You loved other people before me?” Incredulously you asked, making him laugh. 

Hearing Izuru laugh was one of the most beautiful and charming sounds that you’d ever heard. His laughs and smiles were more precious than gold to you, because he rarely shared them with anyone outside of his small social circle.

“I love you, too, Izuru Kira. More than I think you’ll ever know..” You smiled and pressed a soft kiss to both of his cheeks before kissing his lips again.

With a small, shy wave, Izuru saw you off as you walked back to your division to finish your work. 

His eyes didn’t miss the sway of your hips, or how your behind looked rounded out in your shinigami uniform. The thought made his chest tighten and blood rush to his lower regions.

Oh how he couldn’t wait to see you later this evening for your date.

He planned to make good on that godforsaken nickname that you’d bestowed upon him.

“Captain Kira!”

An unseated squad member ran up to him, holding a small package.

“Thank you, but what is it?” Izuru asked, holding the box in his hands. It had no name or anything on it, just a simple box tied with a thin, baby-pink ribbon.

“I’m not sure, sir, but I think that it was left by your female companion.” The member raised his eyebrows suggestively, much like you had done to him earlier, causing Izuru’s entire face to blanch white.

Knowing you, there’s no telling what could be in that box.

“T-thank you! I’m going to go to my office and open this right away!”

He did as he said and settled behind his desk, thankful for the privacy having his own, large spacious office provided.

With careful, nimble fingers, he untied the box and opened it up: inside was a pair of soft-looking lace panties, matching the color of the ribbon on the box.

Inside was also a note: ‘maybe you can rip these off of me with your teeth tonight, fat dick zu’

Izuru swears he could’ve put Shuuhei to shame with how much blood gushed from his nose just then.

(Kind of a follow up to my silly little comic since I had WAY too many thoughts and I couldn't fit them in because I wanted it to stay light hearted)

My personal take on komahina is that they both absolutely end up falling in love at some point, but Nagito would never allow Hajime to date him.

(Warning, it’s kinda long)

Not only would he feel like Hajime is too good for him, that Hajime would be wasting his precious time on trash, but it would also make Nagito too happy, and Nagito has a bad tendency to link his happiness with his ultimate luck. It would make him think that the joy of dating Hajime would cause catastrophes, so the best, most hopeful thing he can do is avoid dating altogether. In his head, he’s doing the reasonable thing ! He's shielding everyone from his bad luck ! But he would still love him so he would absolutely tell Hajime how much he means to him and hang out and even flirt with him…. so long as he doesn’t reciprocate. Which would probably upset Hajime at first, thinking he’s being played with.

It would require serious mental wrestling to convince Nagito that it’d be ok for him to date anyone, let alone the Ultimate Ultimate. You’d need to convince him that his happiness isn’t always tied to his luck. Dare I say, you’d have to make it so that him being treated with respect and even affection isn’t an exception anymore, just a normal part of life, thus not something he'd feel overly lucky to have. (That one would be more of a collective, long term effort though)

It’s a very arduous task, especially with how unconvinced Nagito probably would be. ESPECIALLY especially if you take into account the fact that you’re on a goddam timer because of his illness.

There is a possibility that Nagito feels more of an equal to the others post game though, since they were all bad guys and thus, all much closer to his own perceived level of trash (not a particularly good way to think, but it's a start nonetheless) I can see everyone working on themselves and their guilt and learn to forgive themselves for the horrible things they all did, and Nagito on the side being like “you all are doing such a good job!” Without realising that he could apply this to his own existence… though he would probably think it can’t apply to him. In his head, he'll forever be trash.

At the end of the day, I think the quickest way for them to make this happen is for Hajime to bring up his talents and basically tell Nagito that his luck is nothing compared to his own luck, and therefore can’t hurt anyone with it. Althought it's probably the most convincing argument in Nagito's eyes, one might wonder if it's really the best solution for these two, especially for Hajime who most likely has his own bagage to unpack regarding his talents. Like, first of all, is Nagito in love with him or the hope his existence apparently brings to the world? Or maybe even Izuru? There's just.... So much to take into account man

Tl;dr komahina is a really cool concept and they totally fall in love but the real challenge is HOW they end up dating because i can't see Nagito allowing that to happen so easily. To me it would either take an extraordinary amount of hard work AND/OR use Hajime's talent flex. But then is that really a good solution when Hajime probably has a complicated relationship with his talents?

Not saying that it's impossible but yeah. It's so hard to pinpoint how ! And I still feel like I'm missing some parameters !

(Not bashing on anyone else’s interpretations btw, just sharing my own, these two have invaded my brain as you can probably tell)

To be honest it's usually most of them, though I've been getting less...idk intense about it? It's been less of an issue lately? Maybe it's cause my current main is Ian Duff, a dating sim character, so it makes it a little easier to deal with?

In all the media I've loved? That's a hard oneee. I don't think I could put it in any particular order buuut:

Liu Qingge (SVSSS) -

I am enamored with this man for some reason. He's so so so pretty and I love his character. Fiercely loyal and like a personal uber driver to SQQ. He's such a sweetheart even if he doesn't show it and I love every single scene he's in. In the years that SQQ was "dead", I really liked how he stopped at nothing to try and retrieve his body from Luo Binghe so that he could have a proper burial (even if he was unsuccessful) and the way he returns SQQ's fans whenever he loses them. He just wants to protect the ones he cares about and I want to give him a big big hug.

2. Hua Cheng (TGCF) -

I truly love his dedication and pure infatuation with Xie Lian, as well as the fact that this man is FINE. His character has so much depth and his willingness to do anything for XL is so beautiful. His 800 years of commitment and the way he is willing to give his everything to XL AGH he's so amazing.

Also. He's SMOKIN. Like scalding. Like HOT DAMN.

3. Hajime Hinata/Izuru Kamukura (Danganronpa) -

Since these guys are technically the same person, I'm just gonna count them as one.

Hajime is my favorite protagonist of the Danganronpa games and I love that at first you think he's a pretty basic dude, like "Oh yeah there's not much to write home about him." But then you see his sassy quips and his slight tsundere personality which just adds to him, and then you learn about his backstory and his entire character as a whole changes for you. His need to be accepted, his insecurity and deep longing for approval in which he takes drastic measures in order to try and accept himself. He agreed to be lobotomized not knowing that him as a whole was just going to disappear. Enter Izuru Kamukura. Who honestly I just think is really cool and there's not a lot I have to say about him tbh. Like even though he's kind of a completely different person, parts of Hajime still make their way through to who he is.

4. Nagito Komaeda (Danganronpa) -

I find him to be one of the best written antagonists in Danganronpa, his intentions always somewhat insane but when you learn about the meanings behind them, he's always calculated and intentional. Also, due to his terminal illness that he somehow outlasts due to his luck, he struggles in social settings, which I think adds to the depth of his character and how he sees things. He really doesn't think much of himself and yet manages to have a superiority complex over people he deems "lesser" than him (which then changes after the events of the Dr3 anime). Also I just think he's pretty goofy haha. He's pretty kooky and I like him a normal amount (lie).

5. Kurapika Kurta (HunterxHunter)

He is SO PRETTY. I really love a good revenge plot and I enjoyed his character a lot. I thought his powers were really interesting even though they took years off of his life :(

6. Zhuzhi-Lang (SVSSS) -

I think he deserves so much love and I just want to give him the biggest warmest hug. He deserves so much. He's so loyal and willing to do anything for those who have been kind to him and made him feel like a person rather than a monster.

7. Lan Wangji (MDZS)

His pure LONGING and adoration for WWX are just so precious. He seems all aloof and chaste and pure but on the inside he's a lovesick and pining mess. I can never get over the scene where he hears WWX's confession and you can just see how this is all he's ever wanted and finally, finally, he can be with the one he loves with all of his being.

8. Chiaki Nanami (Danganronpa) -

Chiaki is so sweet and kind and truly cares so much about her friends. She gave up her life believing in them and knowing that a brighter future awaits them. She's so loving and knows that she may not be with them, but she will forever live on in the hearts and memories of the ones dearest to her.

9. Shen Qiao (Thousand Autumns)

Shen Qiao is just so benevolent and good-hearted, he really just deserves the best things and yet draws the short-end of the stick continuously. He's such a sweetheart and such a beauty, I love himmm.

10. Miles Edgeworth (Ace Attorney) -

Honestly I just really enjoyed his character and his interactions with Phoenix. He is so gay.

The first time Rose sees him, he can feel a new melody building up in his head. It’s melancholy and deceptively sweet, just like the Shinigami standing in front of him.

Lieutenant Kira looks vulnerable. He looks like he has been carrying the weight of the world on his shoulders for too long. Rose knows immediately that he has found something precious.

Lieutenant Kira is polite and well-mannered and he treats his new Captain with respect and deference. But he is wary and cautious. It is clear he doesn’t trust easily. Not anymore, that is.

Of course, Rose knows of Captain Ichimaru’s betrayal. What he hasn’t been told officially is easy enough to learn from widespread gossip and the chit-chat he overhears in the Seireitei. Members of the Third Division are understandably reticent, not so the other divisions. The insinuations are difficult to miss, even for someone who’s been in the World of the Living for a century.

 In particular, some drunk guys of the Eleventh seem to have a very clear idea of why Lieutenant Kira behaved like he did at the time, and why he was so badly shaken by the whole thing… and they would tell Rose all about it in very crude terms, until Ikkaku Madarame puts an abrupt end to that “nice chat” threatening his men to go bankai on their asses before the thing escalates into a full-blown brawl between divisions.

And with the passing of time, the melody in his head grows and builds up, and is constantly on the verge of overpowering him; he feels inspired like he hasn’t been in ages, and his muse is none other than his melancholy Lieutenant.

Rose really likes to say that Izuru is his muse. He’s well aware of the fact that it’s not the way Captains usually speak of their Lieutenants – not so openly, at least. Most people share strange looks when he does that. But it’s just his way of expressing his appreciation and his affection. Who could be more important than a muse for an artist? And what if someone gets… colourful ideas about the whole thing? There is nothing wrong with it.

But there is a thing Rose absolutely can’t stand; it’s people implying that he’s somehow taking advantage of his Lieutenant, that’s he’s abusing his position and his power. He finds it deeply insulting, not only to himself, but also – and especially – to Kira.

But in the end, the melody in Rose’s head is not nearly as beautiful as the litany of moans and pleas he can wring out of Izuru when he’s finally lying naked in his bed. There Izuru is not a muse anymore, he’s both the instrument and the music itself.

What's a cute head cannon or yours?

One of my head canons is Izuru trying on his old academy uniform just to see if it still fits (It does, like a glove. Skinny little twink). Rose just walks and short circuits.

He's torn; on one hand, he wants to make beautiful love to his precious lieutenant all night long. On the other hand, he is filled with such inspiration at the sight of his lover. He feels the intensive need to compose music. It will be a song sung through the generations, his masterpiece.

Anyways, izuru stares at him, shrugs his shoulders, and starts to put away the uniform. This is a normal Tuesday for him.

Lmao rose you kinky fucker, I see you, I see you... Has to lean on a cabinet for a second to gather himself, then rushes off to start writing.

Rushes back in, peppers izuru's face with kisses for a moment, rushes back out.

Hmm let me think thooo, a cute headcanon....

Rose and Izuru exchange a lot of gifts. You'd think only Rose would be the one to give a lot of gifts, and he does, but Izuru does as well, small but thoughtful things like a new small notebook to write songs in, a new bag of Rose's favorite tea that he noticed was running out, a new pretty comb, etc.

This is something Izuru actually also does for his close friends. Renji, Shuuhei, Momo. It's a little secret thing about Izuru that only a few people know about.

Also when Rose and Izuru have a very busy work week where they barely see each other bc they're rushing all over the place, they'll sometimes communicate through notes in poetry form, left on each other's desk.
