It's pretty funny how the three love interests have something in common 。。。。besides their obvious interest (Haley) and obsession (Double Vision and Ray) towards the MC of the game.
The three of them smoke, which might be something banal for some but I like to hold into small details like these and make up stuff.
Haley takes smoke breaks, Ray smokes when he is in your apartment and Double isn't shown smoking in the game but he does on his birthday illustration. ᶘ ⊙ᴥ⊙ᶅ
Not sure if that was on purpose or just a coincidence but either way, it makes sense to me.
Ray, especially, the fact that he smokes.
Considering that he spent most of his pre-teen and teenage years until he was 18 years old living with Steel Sheriff and remember, Steel Sheriff is a shitty person and a BAD influence, so it makes sense that maaaybe that bad habit was influenced by that horrendous man and Ray took a hold into it.
Ray strikes me as the type of guy who's addicted to nicotine and honestly? I don't blame him at all, that man went through so much shit since he came out of his mother's womb so if he EVEN chain smokes, it wouldn't faze me at all.
Not sure if Ray smokes only at night but someone dear to me does and well, the only time of the day Ray is completely free of any duty is at night, as far as i've seen? Also, smoking at night sounds...right to me, he takes notice of you and opens the window so he isn't stinking up your place...which is surprising, the only smokers I know always smoke in secluded places and I can smell it all the way into my bedroom. ʕʘ̅͜ʘ̅ʔ
I'm aware that nicotine has some benefits but we are talking about Ray, who is freaking Binary Star, HIS ABILITY???? EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. /j This man does not GAF about the side effects or the benefits of smoking. Out of the three I believe that Ray is free from any illnesses or any type of side effects, heh.
Now, Haley, they are shapeshifter...? Correct me if I'm wrong, im an amateur on the Haley department. Crazy idea but imagine if they smoke on their cat form, holy fucking shit. Their brain, gastrointestinal system or even their heart is not safe though...but I believe that they can easily shift into any animal with the strongest lungs ever and live another day without being worried about any complications? Huh, this sounds batshit crazy so I think I'll stop writing this part.
Like Ray, Haley seems to smoke as a sedative, what if they smoke herbal cigarettes? Also, I believe that they can easily quit if they want to (heh, now that I'm reading this part i forgot that this is something most addicts say, LOL.) , which I beg to differ when it comes to Ray or Double, I don't judge them, just an observation I guess.
At last, my favorite character and current obsession, Double Vision.
Cigarette smoking, yeah but what about vaping? He looks like the type of guy that would vape or maybe is it too tame for him? Maybe he wants something stronger. Wait, does anyone really need a reason to smoke? ಠಿ_ಠ
People say that vaping is less hazardous than smoking but to me? It's the same thing, most e-cigarretes contain nicotine but yeah, you are inhaling smoke from burning tobacco when you smoke a cigarette. I don't know anything about vaping. It's pretty popular in my country though, never tried it but my friend told me that vaping feels and tastes different from smoking, so I believe their judgement.
Forgive my yapping, like I was saying! He isn't safe from the lung cancer, at all. Yeah, this man can do sick tricks with the smoke, for sure... I'm not going to name any because I might be wrong but you name it and maaaaaaaybe he would be capable of doing it, if you can do something for him back, of course. Oh, I'm 100% sure this freakazoid throws the smoke in your face on purpose, I find that hot actually...if only my nostrils and eyes could say the same about that. If he does that, I'll be coughing like I have asthma until I die.
Hmm, I can't think of when he started smoking...maybe on his teenage years? After all, I think it was at that time that he started to get along with shady people and ugly business. The power of influence and their ambience might be a big factor of this habit on these guys. Heavy on Ray.
That's everything I could think of. For now.
If you are a real person, don't smoke, I guess?. Do whatever you want BUT DON'T BE TELLING ANYONE THAT TUMBLR USER fudanshidoublevision encouraged you to do it.
If you are fictional character, yassss smoke all you want beautiful inexistent individual, you don't exist after all!
Tumblr media
GODDAMN!!!!!! I MIGHT START SMOKING RIGHT NOW IF I CAN LOOK THIS HOT 😍😍😍 GIVE ME THAT CIGARETTE 🔥🔥🔥

Hydro Archon, Hydro Archon, Don't Cry
I've noticed a pattern with 5star characters in my game - they only come home after I've done their story quest or at least the Archon Quest where they appear. From an in-game perspective it's obviously because it takes me a while to finish the quest and I raise the pity in the meantime, however... from a SAGAU perspective, it's adorable that they only come around after I've spent the time to get to know them better.
Content Warnings: Angst, Furina desperately needs a hug.
SPOILERS FOR 4.2 BELOW
Imagine Furina before the Archon Quest. She's holding it together, like she has been for five hundred years. She's been performing her role so well for so long, yet she feels like she's already gone beyond her limit. She doesn't know how long she can handle doing this for, but she knows she must.
Late at night, she takes a break to catch some air. She's aware that she's still performing - she's alone, but she cannot risk lowering her mask, even before an invisible audience. She takes a deep breath and looks up, and doesn't even feel the tears flowing down her face.
A shimmering light crosses the sky.
Foçalors, it beckons. Come home.
Oh no. Not this. She's not ready, she's not ready! Not tonight. She tells herself she'll answer your summons tomorrow. In truth, she doesn't feel worthy of answering. What if she's not what you expect?
That isn't even a question. She knows she's not what you expect.
She knows you have other Archons - real Archons - among your Vessels. She panics - she doesn't even have a Vision, much less an Archon's authority. There's only so much she can achieve with acting. What would she do when you took her out on the battlefield and she inevitably failed?
Come on... Another shooting star crosses the sky, your voice a faint, ethereal whisper in her ears. I need an Archon team...
It fills her with dread. She can't answer your summons! She absolutely can't! Not only would she disappoint you - because there's no way she wouldn't, surely, she can't imagine a world in which you are not disappointed once you figure out just what she is, a fraud who can't even use Hydro much less be the literal Archon - she'd also jeopardize her only purpose.
She rushes inside, back to her room, closes the shutters and the window and the curtains and almost leaps into bed, placing the covers over herself as if to shield herself from the world.
She can still hear you calling.
The next day, Poisson is struck. The prophecy is in full swing. She's frantic, searching for something, anything that could possibly help. All the while maintaining the façade. At least you seem to have given up.
It's both relieving and heartbreaking.
At night, she doesn't even risk it - her windows are kept shut. She analises every report, and locks her door when she notices that she's crying, the papers she's holding becoming dotted with tears that fall despite her best efforts. She can hear the rain hitting her window, and the downpour has her feeling even more hopeless.
Neuvillette speaks with her in the following morning. If the pressure from you wasn't enough, she now also has to manage to assure the Hydro Dragon Sovereign that she has everything under control. It's funny, how those eyes capable of such gentleness seem to gaze into her without a shred of mercy. Just speaking to him now feels like she's been put on trial, and Furina knows, deep down in her soul, that she is guilty.
He presses. Poisson has fallen. She knows. She also knows she's likely crying, the mask is slipping, but she can't give up. She has no right - no right at all, to sacrifice the lives of every person in Fontaine for the sake of her comfort. She cannot afford to slip up. And that means she cannot trust anyone - not you, and not Neuvillette. So she gathers the little control she can at this time, tells him she knows exactly what she's doing, and dashes out the door.
Wait, Furina!
She barely hears your voice as she runs. "I'm sorry, but I can't answer!" She thinks, as she rushes to the top floor of the Palais Mermonia. She knows she gas no time to lose. She needs to get herself in check, to wipe away her tears, to figure something out. Where had she gone wrong? Five hundred years, searching for a solution. Five hundred years of observing every trial, hoping it'll finally be the one she needs. But nothing.
She has nothing, and Poisson has fallen.
She thought the Traveler - and you, by extension - would be the key. That by judgding them she'd have the "most magnificent trial" that her mirror self spoke of. And yet, at every turn, the blonde outlander had managed to evade being sentenced, or even making the trial as grand as she'd expected. She paces around in her room as she mulls it over. Should she had judged you directly? Could she have done so? That would've been a trial for the ages - the Overseer, brought to justice by the Hydro Archon of Fontaine, for the crime of... what could she even accuse you of? Posessing people's bodies? That had to be illegal - or at least immoral enough to warrant a trial...
She lets her body flop onto the bed, covering her eyes with one arm as she lets out a sigh that despite its overdramatic appearance, is in fact incredibly genuine. She's tired. So tired.
Foçalors, come home.
Furina buries her face beneath one of the pillows. She hopes it'll drown out the sound of your voice. She can't distinguish whether that ache in her chest is from your summons growing more insistent or from how much she needs to cry.
The shooting star turns golden outside the window, and Furina wonders if the fact that someone else intercepted it will be enough to dissuade you. She hopes it is, otherwise, her days are numbered.
No more stars cross the sky that night, and relief washes over her body, in a wave so intense that she once again doesn't notice the tears. She falls asleep like that, and dreams of rising waters.
Furina heads to the Opera Epiclese in the morning. She's not looking forward to seeing Neuvillette, but she prays that there'll be a trial. "Please," she thinks, as she sits down in the throne reserved for the Hydro Archon, observing the stage from on high, "let it be today."
It isn't. Instead of a trial, there is a performance... and though she usually loves them, now is not the time. Worse yet, she's spotted by the crowd as she's getting ready to leave. They're angry, of course they are. The prophecy is true, and what is their Archon doing? Furina performs as best as she can, but this time the audience is completely unreceptive. She doesn't blame them. She'd be angry, too, in their shoes. She knows they're terrified. She's terrified, too.
But what can she do? Her search has turned up empty. She has no powers, not really, none besides the power of persuasion and even that seems to be slipping more and more these days. She cannot reassure her people. Neuvillette no longer trusts her, if he ever did. The water rises every day with no signs of stopping.
"Why, mirror-me? Where am I failing?"
The crowd chases her out of the theater. Neuvillette is nowhere in sight, and even if he were, Furina isn't sure she could call upon him now. The time in which he acted as her shield if gone. Neuvillette is now just another of the many she's disappointed.
It hurts.
With no other choice, she runs - as far as her legs will take her, she dashes away from the crowd, and guilt tells her she's being a coward. That she needs to stand up and reassure the masses, that she needs to do what an Archon would at that time.
The notion feels almost ridiculous. She cannot command her element freely like Barbatos, or raise protections over her city like Morax. She cannot threaten to strike down the unruly like the Shogun, nor does she have Lesser Lord (Lesser Lord! Hah! Even someone known as 'Lesser' is leagues beyond Furina's ability) Kusanali's foresight and wisdom.
So she does what she can do.
Whether it is fate or simply her own feelings of guilt, she finds herself in Poisson, at the base of the Spina di Rosula. The place where all those people - her people - had lost their lives to a disaster she was supposed to prevent.
When the Traveler extends their hand, she doesn't know whether it is a blessing or a curse. She wants to run again - what else can she do? But her pursuers are apparently still giving chase, and the outlander offers her aid. She can feel your presence from within them - every time she's crossed paths with them, as brief as those moments were, you were there. She can tell that the longing in the blonde's eyes is, at least in part, yours.
She's sorry.
She follows the Traveler to the hiding place - someone's home? It seems irrelevant. For a moment, she wonders if she could sue you for invasion of private property. "Oh, what am I thinking? The time for the grand trial is over... and even if it weren't, suing the Overseer for something so trivial would warrant the same result as the first time I challenged the Traveler..."
The Traveler. The outlander whose presence preceeded disaster. They were known for solving it, sure, but she knew that the moment they set foot in Fontaine the prophecy would have already started. Was it their fault, or yours?
Furina still feels like it might be hers.
The Traveler offers help once again. They extend their hand, and the look in their eyes as they ask her to confide in them is so earnest, so genuine. She swars she can hear two sets of voices saying the words - the Traveler's, and yours. It's faint, and gentle, and pained, and carries a yearning she knows she cannot fix.
Through them, you reach for her and she almost breaks. She knows you'll stop reaching once you know the truth.
Furina, please. You can trust us, love. Let me- let us help. People from your world cannot know, but neither of us fit that criteria. Your people will not dissolve, I promise you. I've seen enough worlds to know.
She considers it.
She hears your voice, and considers it. But there is uncertainty in your tone. You're gambling, and she's a good enough actress to know you're not sure yourself. They wouldn't do it, that's your reasoning. Furina doesn't know who 'they' are, but you're placing all your bets on the fact that 'they' would not erase an entire Nation. Who are 'they'? Celestia? If so, she knows for certain that your wager is more optimistic than based on facts. It's not enough - blind optimism is not enough for her to risk it, not even from a being like you. Besides, that is not her choice to make.
She cannot give up. She cannot lower her guard. Not with Neuvillette, not with the Traveler, not with you. The Traveler urges her for a response, reaches out, and she's about to deny them, when the house's walls fall.
Damn it, we needed more time! Furina, I'm so sorry.
She feels your sorrow about at the same time that she feels the spotlight on her.
Neuvillette looks down from his seat as the Chief Justice, and somehow the sliver of pity in his eyes hurts more than the coldness of a few days prior.
She's on trial.
________
She's crying.
She's not even making an effort to conceal it anymore. It's over. The curtains have closed and everything she worked so hard for has crumbled. The people know. Neuvillette knows. You know. Furina makes no effort to hear your voice. She knows you're disappointed.
If she did, perhaps she'd hear how you're screaming at the Traveler to go check on her. If she did, perhaps she'd hear how despite everything, you're reaching out, still. How you wish to hold her tight, as she deserves. She'd perhaps hear your outrage at the thought of her being subjected to the death sentence, she'd hear you trying to tear Neuvillette apart for allowing it, she'd hear you slowly realising that the fact that the sentence is addressed to the Hydro Archon means it's not her who dies.
She doesn't witness your relief.
Instead, it is you who gain an understanding of her thoughts. The Traveler reaches for her, and she can feel you pushing through, but she can't stop performing. Even now, she's still holding it, as much as she can.
You tear through her defenses with more ease than she expected. Furina had, until now, thought of you as detached. She knew you saw the world as a stage, a story for your amusement. Sure, you liked them, but only to the extent that one likes characters in a play, right? You were, as far as she knew, exactly the type of god - or, er, entity? - she emulated. Fickle. Boastful. Using lives as entertainment, watching trials and tribulations like a performance and solving the Nations' troubles like nothing more than a game. She had not expected you to care.
Not about her.
Not after knowing the truth.
You push forward. She knows it's you, and not the Traveler, who's in control. She can feel it, the intensity with which you reach out is the same she felt tugging at her very being every time a star crossed the sky. She knows it's you who's still trying to reach her. Even if she's failed.
Even if she's not capable of being in your Archon Team.
So she sighs, and lets you witness. That is your role, after all, isn't it? An audience of one, watching an interactive play. You haven't given up on her character, even though it's not what you expected. You're not what she expected, either. Funny, she finds herself thinking, you're both more human than anyone realised.
You witness her life. She lets it play out like a film before your eyes, the endless stream of memories of growing hopelessness as she realised that the prophecy was slowly setting itself up and she was not any closer to finding out how to stop it. Now you know - the truth, the whole truth. She has nothing left to lose now, anyway. Everything is lost. She was unmasked. She failed.
You're pushed out of her thoughts after she invites you to take your place on stage. You act in her memory, but this time the Traveler doesn't speak. You barely have time to state your piece - all you manage is an I'm sorry before being forced away. She has nothing more to share. That is enough, she figures, and far more than she ever thought she'd share. She still feels the urge to cry, but part of it is from relief.
After that, she doesn't feel your presence until after the flood.
The prophecy comes and goes and Fontaine is unharmed. The flood lasts no more than minutes, and no one is dissolved. Furina remembers your words - 'they' wouldn't do that. Though she is unsure as to 'their' identity, she is thankful that you were right. The sunlight feels like bliss upon her skin as she steps out of the Opera Epiclese, gentle rays drying the remaining water from the streets and the tears on her cheeks, and for the first time in five hundred years she breathes easy.
"They're still hoping you'll come." A familiar voice pulls her out of her trance. The Traveler, alone, stands behind her. Your presence is nowhere near. They look the same, yet different, without you within. Furina can't quite explain it, but it feels odd after being so used to seeing you within the outlander.
"I'm not an Archon." She answers, a certain bitterness in her voice as she looks down, defeated.
"I don't think they care. I know you need to rest for now, and they don't have enough primos for a ten pull anyways, but... just so you know. They'll keep trying."
Furina doesn't quite know whether that is meant as a warning or as an opportunity presenting itself. They're gone before she can ask. Either way, they're right - she is tired, and she does need rest. Out of instinct, she heads to the Palais Mermonia, but stops herself as she reaches for the door.
"Lady Furina." The gentle, deep voice she knows as belonging to the Iudex pulls her from her thoughts. She doesn't dare look him in the eye. He opens the door for her, but she simply turns away. She cannot face him, not after that trial, not after everything she'd done.
"Thank you, monsieur Neuvillette. But I... I think I'll be going, now."
The now fully restored Hydro Dragon can only watch as Furina walks away. He knows she needs her space right now, but that doesn't stop him from worrying for her. He'll arrange the best apartment he can get for her, and make sure she never lacks for anything. In the meantime, though, he'll just try not to let his emotions get the best of him, lest he causes a downpour to fall upon poor Furina, who definitely does not need rain right now. If there is one thing he knows about humans is that rain does not, for the most part, cheer them up. So he holds it in, promising himself that he'll take a small break for a walk after the aftermath of everything is over, and heads to his office.
There is so much to do...
_________
Three weeks pass. Furina lays on her bed, her window open, the soft breeze bringing the smell of a night that promises rain into the apartment. She is busy, not with work, or with renovations, but with the azure glass sphere that she holds up to the light, examining it under her lamp. A Vision... during all those years, she had never thought she'd receive such a thing, much less after being pushed away from her role as the Archon. She is thankful, yes, for her newfound freedom, and, she supposes, for the fact that she'd gotten to act again. But it still remains that this bauble was completely unexpected.
Power. This little thing can give her power. She's still unsure on how to use it, and it crosses her mind that the Traveler - or you - might know. You owe her, after all, after what she did to help you out with the play... she could feel you trying to strangle the Traveler and Paimon on the astral plane and that was perhaps why she wasn't entirely offended by their remarks. Still, she had made a great effort for that play. It was only fair that at least one of you repays the favor, no?
Furina smiles softly, sighing. She'll have to put up a commission at the Guild tomorrow.
She examines the light reflecting within, and it reminds her of the surface of the sea as seen from underwater. The holder, a silvery ornament not unlike those she's seen worn by Vision-bearers, has a distinct characteristic - four fang-like details that seem to secure the glass in place. Before she can give it more thought, the first pitter patter of raindrops reaches her ears, and she rushes to retrieve the clothes hanging on the line she has in the small balcony of her apartment before they get too wet. She rushes outside, hearing as the rain and wind pick up.
"Damn it, damn it, damn it..." She mutters to herself, quickly shoving the clothes onto a basket, trying to pick them off the line as fast as she can. Behind her, a flash of light illuminates the night sky. "Oh, I am so not in the mood for thunder..."
Furina cringes, hoping the storm is not directly above. Maybe she'll be able to sleep if it's just a faraway rumbling. What she hears, however, is not the booming sound of a storm.
Furina. Come home.
You're still trying. For a moment, she forgets about the heavy rain, and the clothes, and simply looks up at the sky. Blue flashes, one after the other, cross the clouds in rapid succession. Even after everything, you hadn't given up. The Traveler had warned her, but at the time she hadn't been in a stable enough state of mins to even care, still shaken from everything that had happened.
Now, she simply looks up.
"Overseer." She answers. You won't be able to add her to the 'Archon Team'. She knows she's not as powerful as most of your Vessels - hell, she doesn't even know how to use her Vision yet. But you still want her.
You know the truth - the whole truth - and you still want her.
The next star that crosses the sky turns gold, and glows brighter and brighter until it lands in front of her, hovering above the railing on her balcony. It emits a soft, warm light, and Furina reaches for it like she'd reached for her Vision.
Warmth spreads over her body, and it feels like every time she'd looked at the Traveler with you in them, except everything feels more... intense. It's not like she's seeing the filtered bits of you that shine through the cracks in someone else, no. She can feel you directly, and she understands why they call it 'coming home'. It's warm. It's comfortable. And for the first time she can truly, honestly say she doesn't feel alone.
You're happy she's there. Time seems to stop around her, and she finds herself dry and in a field full of stars. If she squints, she can barely make out a form, a swirling swarm of stardust in the vague shape of a person. She reaches a hand out.
You place the cursor over her outstretched hand.
Welcome home, Furina.

Super Sankta 2 Exu sounds like an excellent idea Zerav. For maximum meme, she's a John Wick style Guard- just uses guns to bash in people's skulls.
Super Sankta 2 Exu whose going John Wick style on people is funny but my concept for Exia Alter was always based on like, the concept that Skadi Alter first introduced that we all thought at the time was gonna be the standard fare for alters
My Ultimate Sankta vs Exia 3 concept was based around the idea of a "Bad End" Exia the way Skadi Alter is, where Exia would be further mechanized ala Executor and become an emotionless seraphim-type unit who would essentially be the ultimate Sankta weapon. This would happen as the result of Laterano having some kind of big event that would cause them to pull all remaining Sankta from all corners of Terra for their promised day of ascension where they would leave Terra and all its problems behind, with certain Sankta (Like Exia) essentially being the vanguards and protectors of these people (I essentially just took the idea of the Rapture and assigned it to the Sankta), with the event concept in question being Penguin Logistics invading this holy land to save their girl.
So like. you can imagine how hard ive been popping off with all the new lore reveals we've gotten over the past 2 years. That said, this concept is a little outdated, and just leaving it at that would be no fun
So here's my pitch for how Exia Alter 4: The Quest For Peace would go with modern foresight (added read more because reasons)
The Popes basement computer in Zwillingsturme just let out a directive that they need to gather their best Sankta to fight against the end of the world. This is in conjunction with the last few events squarely tying together Iberia's Seaborn plotline with both Laterano and Siracusa and their dividing faiths. Now, all of this is in conjunction with the hints we've been getting that Penguin Logistics is going to split up (Lappland and Mostima have already flown the coop, and currently the rest are in Siracusa helping Texas the Amogus, but that will likely not last especially bc Exia's own anniversary line all but majorly hints at this split happening because they all got different stuff going on)
If Penguin Logistics splits, Exia will well and truly be left without a support system.
Now, Exia has always been kind of off as far as Sankta go, because for all intents and purposes she shouldn't be out of place: We see just how Sankta tend to act in Guide Ahead, and Exia didn't really seem all that different. Yet, when we look at her history and actions (she was basically kicked out, she was super accident prone which made other Sankta hate her, as part of Penguin Logistics shes constantly drunk, Texas herself says that Exia being an optimist makes her different, etc), she's actually Really different.
Almost like she has an abnormality compared to other Sankta. Me and a few others (check out @annierosaart post here) have speculated on her being different, but we also don't really know WHY: Even if she was suddenly disconnected from the Sankta empathy powers, we don't see any indication of how, and unlike Ezell we don't have any sort of 'wake-up' moment for her.
But given the weirdness about her and her lines, I think I know what the exact nature of her abnormality may be (and heres my pitch) when looking at the most relevant characters who have abnormalities, namely Executor and Arturia, because I think she falls in line with them (shameless plug to my old exia/executor buddies post):
Executor's abnormality is that his emotions are incredibly muted compared to others. He isn't heartless or emotionless, but more that his heart and mind runs on rationale and logic first and foremost, which almost disqualified him from being canonized had he also not been Laternos single most competent man because saint fedex is entirely disconnected from caring about petty things like being racist.
Arturia's abnormality is that she is receptively empathetic to the point she has nothing within her. She can remove the inhibitions of people, and this is in service to understanding them, because she lacks an understanding of herself: She has a grand dream of an empathy for the world even beyond the Sankta Empathy power, and to accomplish this she draws out the emotions that people hide. As a result, she reflects the emotions of others within herself and thus is incredibly empathetic to the point she's also lacking in emotions and a self.
Exia? I think that her abnormality is that she's too emotional, that the emotions she feels are far more amplified compared to others.
I believe this for a couple of reasons: All the weirdness surrounding her aside, whats the one thing that's always defined Exia? Her Rapid Casting EX. It's always been memed about, but simply firing a single bullet from a gun is akin to casting an Arts attack, with guns serving as a type of wand in these cases. Exia is the only character within the series whose been noted to be so fast with her arts and casting.
This post here does a phenomenal job expanding on this point, but Arts are an expression of the soul, they're influenced by emotions and become stronger with them because they are ultimately expressions of the self, which all characters in and of themselves having a "unique" arts inherent to them. Hell, all of Leithaniens arts are based around using musical expression, while Sarkaz are noted for their arts based on souls and memory, with the literal main heroine of Arknights having an empathy based arts superpower.
Exia, having Super Emotion as her Sankta halo abnormality, could explain why shes so good at gun, even without Oripathy, because said emotions are boosting her casting ability. Remember, anyone can use originum arts, it's just that oripathy is needed for them to be able to do it without a casting device.
This heightened emotion could also possibly explain her crush on Mostima, and even why Mostima is so weird/cruel about her: Mostima was simply a childhood friend alongside her and her sister, and yet when she left for Lungmen, Exia was hot on her trails and then waited 4 YEARS to be beside her and meet her again. She joined Penguin Logistics specifically because of Mostima. It's incredibly likely that Exia might have just had a small crush on her that then spiraled heavily because of this, and Mostima (with her chronic backstory-itis letting her find out that the whole Sankta and halo thing is a scam from her op files and events) might even be aware of this aspect of Exia, and may have wanted her to get over it, always leaving to try and make Exia move on but also always coming back because she needs to look after Exia. After all, if Exia had heightened extreme emotions, what are the chances she could die of grief? She already gets drunks regularly, and despite being cheerful and optimistic, Exia is wearing a mask hiding an incredibly depressed individual.
It could also be possible that the reason why Exia never noticed this is because while it doesn't let other Sankta feel her emotions, she can still feel that of others. She's always confused as to why back in Laterano people always accused her of being disingenuous, because can't they feel her emotions? Well, if she has Super Emotions, it could potentially be overloading her halo, so while she can receive signals, they can't be felt by others. Moreover, this mechanical aspect blends in well with her E2 art, where she is the single operator in the game without an animal/living motiff
Tumblr media
Even other Sankta have birds and/or human statues and robotic elements (funnily enough, Executor Sniper only has crosses but even then he is clearly being themed as specifically an angel), but Exia? She has her guns, becoming wings as a ring forms with them. She's literally ascending while her wings become darker.
So what does all this mean?
Well, the Pope's basement bonzi buddy just sent out a directive for the Pope to gather the best Sankta to fight against the end of the world, and who else to recruit but a vulnerable, lonely Sankta who was kicked out for being TOO destructive? Exia's profile does make mention that despite appearances, she is also incredibly pious just like other Sankta, and if the Pope himself came knocking, wanting to give Exia a place back in Laterano, and in a high ranking, respected position no less?
She would jump at the chance, not only to be beside her sister (and possibly Mostima), but also to be accepted back into Laterano society.
Executors own halo has a mechanized element to it, where he also gains more parts to it when he goes from normalest man to saint fedex, so he likely underwent some kind of modification to go along with his promotion, especially because he also now carries an Nier Automata companion cube with him straight from the machine
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
If Exia is to be canonized, she might be adjusted in a similar way by The Law.
She might even be fully altered into becoming Laterano's perfect weapon to fight against the end of the world. The Witch King himself describes this approaching threat as a void of infinite knowledge which seeks to eliminate them, an unshakeable truth of existence that drives people insane.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The Creator must perish.
What better weapon to fight against such a thing than one who feels her own emotions so strongly she cannot be swayed? Or better yet, an equally as unshakeable, emotionless machine?

So, Undertale.
The funny thing to me about Undertale is that anything the game, and it's fangames, try to tell the player about peace and choosing non-violence falls completely and pathetically flat for at least one big reason: no one who isn't a main character takes that lesson for themselves.
Sure, Undyne chills out, you can guilt Toriel down, you can therapize the Amalgamates, you can even redeem Asriel, but what about the random encounters and side bosses...?
When does Washua stop trying to drown a child? When does Froggit stop pouncing? Why does Snowdrake, a literal child, think it's a cool idea to murder someone in the woods? When does Tsundereplane finally figure out that killing her senpai doesn't work? When exactly is Muffet supposed to learn that killing and eating people for not giving her money is bad? Are any of them even meant to go through the same improvement others do?
Are they after human souls? In most cases, apparently not, because much of the Underground doesn't even recognize Frisk as human in the first place. Even Undyne apparently needs to be told what the human is wearing to find them, as if she wouldn't be able to recognize a human right away.
Are they trying to "communicate through magic" but are inadvertently doing harm because magic is like that? No, that was a fan theory people came up with to explain why they attacked first. If monster magic really did work like that, then Frisk would have to avoid projectiles in every. Single. Conversation. You can buy items without dodging the SOUL around heaps of merchandise. You can talk to the Snowdin bear without having to duck around the presents he's setting under the tree. You can hang out with Papyrus without having to dodge his bones during the entire date.
The only explanation we are left with is that some people in the Underground just really love murder, and will happily attack anything that crosses their line of sight.
Hell, even the cripplingly depressed Shyren will STILL make a token effort to kill Frisk. Like, whats her deal?
Why do we want to befriend people like that? Especially if they keep trying it after being spared? It'd be understandable if each encounter only showed up ONCE and then was befriended from then on, but no, every time until post-game True Pacifist they will keep coming back to try to kill Frisk.
Where are all the moralizing friendship speeches about their actions?
Random civilians are free to attack children with impunity, but those same children acting in self-defence or fighting back is abominable, enough to make humanity in it's entirety worthy of genocide.
And genocide is the Underground's goal, in case everyone forgot. The whole purpose of Asgore absorbing the human souls and "becoming god" (that's literally how it's described in the game) is to take revenge on humanity. Asgore may not be willing to go through with it because he's a depressed weeny, but everyone else is pretty hyped for the destruction of humanity once the doors are open.
And for what, exactly? The Underground is perfectly livable. All that's missing is the sun, but unless a lack of vitamin D is what's turning everyone into slavering psychopaths, I don't see the problem. They can probably even just make their own artificial sun with the technology they have. Everyone's just hyped up on propaganda about how cool the surface is.
Is their bereavement worth the explicit extinction of the human race? Is it worth the inevitable monster casualties that will come from humans fighting back? I don't think so, to be quite honest.
I think the hypocrisy of this running thread is best displayed in the Yellow fangame, by Martlet during the game's Genocide route:
"We only took five, but you've taken dozens".
Sure, that's factually true, but it's also a fact that you intend to take the rest of humanity whether they fight back or not. It's not equivalent if the plan was always to do worse damage. It's hypocrisy.
The player (and by extension Frisk) has to put in extreme amounts of work into building relationships with people who will gladly turn physically violent at the drop of a hat, who are literally planning a genocide, constantly defying logic and self-preservation just to get a couple shots in on Some Guy.
Hell, I don't think Frisk as a person even comes into it in the first place. They are just a shell for us, the players, to experience the story.
And why? Because we saw a let's play of it? Because game reviewers said it was game of the decade? Because we want to see what it's like to play? To "befriend" these oh-so-whacky, predictable characters again and again a decade after the game's heyday?
The story, in the end, is all to fulfill a narrative who's foundation is a shaky legend about humans being mean to monsters millenia ago, some immortal, royal brats having bruised egos, and a mutated goat prince scaring a bunch of peasants into violence, told from the perspective of the Underground, with little inference as to what the surface is actually like.
For all we know, Asgore and Toriel are lying and were the conquering tyrants of a human-monster empire who were sealed underground by opposing kingdoms of the surface in the days of yore, causing them to rewrite history (and "rewrite" population demographics) to make themselves look like the victims to their entirely-captive audience. If the barrier was a cooperative measure, it would go a long way to explain why human and monster souls are both needed to break it. if the humans really DID want to kill all monsters to prevent their souls being stolen, why were the monsters allegedly allowed to surrender? The royals even have an equally-immortal "war hero" at their beck and call with a cross-game skill for writing Tolkien-esque fantasy literature, settled down "doing archaeology work" in the region where the Underground's supposed history is written. That's a coincidence, I'm sure.
All that said, and mostly by the by, I say Deltarune is the better game.
The previous, pitiless freaks are friendly neighbours. The foes in the Dark World are overlords, mercenaries, guards, animals, and madmen - people with purpose to capture or kill the Lightners, rather than random civilians who see fit to attack anything that crosses their path. It makes sense. Plus, the story is actually engaging, the mystery is more intriguing, the characters are more entertaining, Kris is an actual character with a will of their own that we are explicitly subverting, and the "evil route" is actually, undeniably evil.
Deltarune came first conceptually, if you will all remember. Undertale is the weird off-kilter AU Toby made for practice. Not the other way around. And it definitely shows.

2-24 even for Shanks 💕
Oh my goodness, thank you bby!! Y'all are gonna hear about Shanks today lmfao. Most of this is gonna be under a readmore bc I've never been able to be succinct but here we goooooo!
2. Favorite canon thing about this character?
I love how careful he is about when and how he flexes all that power he has. It was meant to be very on the nose when we were introduced to him via Luffy in the very beginning of the series, but like. His little episode on Whitebeard's ship seemed like he had conqueror's haki out of control, but it was a very purposeful flex, if for nothing else than to show that he took approaching another Yonko seriously. Or the way he chose to handle Greenbull at the end of Wano. Sure it was hard to the new folks on his crew to handle exposure so suddenly, but he sent that like 50 miles out from the ship and hit that jerk in the heart with it. And never even raised his voice about it. Idk I think his restraint and how it manifests is a really interesting part of his characterization.
4. If you could put this character in any other media, be it a book, a movie, anything, what would you put them in?
it's probably on my mind bc of Bernard Hill's recent passing, but I think Shanks would do so well and have a grand old time being elusive and mysterious in Lord of the Rings lmfao. He's got that Aragorn quality of could be in his 20s could be in his 40s who knows, he and Gandalf would probably get a kick out of each other, he'd fucking love the hobbits I am telling you this. (he also, I am very afraid, has that Aragorn quality of 'doomed by the narrative just not quite yet,' but we'll see.)
6. What's something you have in common with this character?
this is hard, I think he's a much more complex and interesting person than I am for the most part, but like. I think it's safe to say he'd mostly rather diffuse a situation than have it become serious when the latter is avoidable, and I am that way too. If the situation is already serious and requires a throw down response that's a different matter, but if we can avoid a serious fight in favor of a little tussle and some drinks, that'd be the way he'd go, and I agree.
8. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you despise?
take this one with a grain of salt bc I mostly try not to yuck anyone's yum or argue about differing headcanons, but I really do not fucking like the like. scumbag/villain!Shanks thing that seems to have a semi-popular following. some of that is personal bias, as I think he is a warm, good person who is doing his best, but it also kind of feels like a betrayal of the narrative for him. which I realize is funny coming from the "everything is made up including the source material" guy but here we are. there was a period a few months ago where people were basically just writing him as OP Toji and it made me want to pull all my hair out.
10. Could you be best friends with this character?
absolutely, I adore him, I think he's right about a lot of things, our ethics tend to line up where it matters, I think he's funny and would be fun to be around, he listens well and is a warm and compassionate person. I really like him and we'd get along really well I think. (mostly probably through the lens of my OC bc I'm not like. terribly convinced of my actual in person IRL likeability but in theory, absolutely yes.)
12. What's a headcanon you have for this character?
I've written about it a little before, but I think the reason he let Buggy go without telling him what Roger talked to him about after the execution wasn't because he didn't want Buggy with him anymore or didn't believe he had what it took to complete that mission, but so that Buggy would have a chance to forge his own way and have his own life. Doing what Roger asked necessitated Shanks--who was widely regarded as having the potential to be the next big legend--to drop out of the running almost entirely. He picked up his crew, he made a name for himself, he became the youngest person (at the time) to gain the title of Yonko, but he also spent a decent amount of time having to like. Lay low on beaches and dick around in the East Blue and play balance keeper and chess master until the man Roger was waiting for appeared. There are more spoilery additions to this that I'll leave out for now but yeah. I think he knew Buggy had all that same potential, and wanted to give him an opportunity to strike out on his own adventure without living in that shadow or carrying their mentor's ghost around.
14. Assign a fashion aesthetic to this character.
oh take this one with a grain of salt too idk that I know any of the terms correctly lmfao but he's very like. when I picture boho in my mind that seems very him. a lot of linens a lot of light flowy breathable clothes. It's pirate!Boho obviously but like. The man is out there wearing birkenstocks as we speak js.
16. What's your least favorite ship for this character?
same standard issue disclaimer as the fandom stuff I don't like, this isn't to yuck anyone's yum, follow your bliss what people ship isn't my business, these are just the ones I personally do not like. shankslu is at the forefront, but I don't really do shanksbenn either?? a LOT of captains and first mates in this series read that way to me but those two don't for me.
18. How about a relationship they have in canon with another character that you admire?
I actually really enjoy his dynamic with Marco. There are some interesting pieces of shared history there but overall the like. Friendly ribbing, amiable hanging out and willingness to cooperate between two of my faves is always very nice to see. c:
20. Which other character is the ideal best friend for this character, the amount of screentime they share doesn't matter?
oh please I think he'd think Sabo was a ton of fun. I know there's an age difference there that makes peership a little different than between the other mid-40s dudes he usually hangs out with, but think about it. Two very powerful people who are carrying the weight of part of this new era on their shoulders, who have a habit of just sort of fucking off out of the narrative and doing things as they please within their own personal parameters, who will just get up and obliterate a guy when that's what the situation calls for? Funny, weird, intelligent guys that love Luffy, believe in him, and want whats best for him? Even if they weren't besties, I think there's a lot of fun overlap for general friendship there.
22. If you're a fic reader, what's something you like in fics when it comes to this character? Something you don't like?
something I like: when people recognize that all that soft puppy silly goofy guy exterior, while sincerely part of him, is something that he makes the decision to externalize every day, and is sat atop a deep well of like. sadness and responsibility. there are a lot of people doing a very good job making him a romantic dopey nightmare man without sacrificing that silliness or his intelligence and sense of personal responsibility.
something I don't like: when people start a fic with the disclaimer "Shanks is in here but I hate him lol so he's a lil ooc 🤭🤪" and then he's like. not only ooc but just someone's ex boyfriend or doflamingo or just off-screen doing heinous shit for no reason. Writing a character you hate: can be fun and compelling! I fucking hate Doflamingo, for example, but as a narrative device, as a villain? bar none one of the best and most interesting. Writing a character you hate with the intention of doing a shit job because you hate them? dumb, annoying, and a waste of everyone's time. why include someone you don't want to write about lmfao just pick a different character and be done.
24. What other character from another fandom of yours that reminds you of them?
i'm drawing a blank, I'm going to be real with you. Like, I can think of a ton of mentor characters, but they don't really remind me of him. I can think of a bunch of like. guardian of the new era characters, that still don't super remind me of him. I think again i've got LOTR on the brain rn but the like. Fellowship of the Ring Aragorn is the closest I'm coming up with and even that's mostly in terms of like. the gentle mentorship of the hobbits, the offbeat sense of humor, and that dedication to a responsibility that he might have been scared to face. IDK. Shanks is a pretty unique guy to me. I'm sure I'm gonna sit bolt upright at 3 AM with a list of 20 people that fit the bill but rn it simply isn't clicking lmfao.
And there we have it!!! My (mostly) comprehensive analysis of Shanks, for you my dear friend. Thank you so much for asking!!!

RL characters and their thoughts on the show “Glee”
requested by @oneginn (why did i do this for you)
Cassandra
at first watched it to make fun of it. she wanted to break the rumors that theatre kids loved this show and she thought it was sooo stupid at first
but then she immediately got hooked at first ep from the absurdity of it all and unironically became invested
she’s either super embarrassed to admit that she prefers the glee cover of some songs over the original or she just casually blasts them without a care. depends on the song probably
hated rachel at first (without realizing shes lowkey her) but then began shipping faberry
oh god faberry took over her life. she SPIRALED over this stupid queerbait ship. started reading every fanfic possible of them and shit
would not shut up about how much she hates this show to elena. elena is tired and at this point knows the plot of every episode because of her
fucking hates ryan murphy
biggest klaine hater. not bc she thinks its a bad ship, shes just pissed that the fandom and the writers focuses on those twinks
watched every season but prefers the first three seasons. she kinda lost hope for this show mid season 5 or something
rachel’s “don’t rain on my parade” performance changed her life, same goes with that bohemian rhapsody scene
don’t ask her about anything in this show otherwise she’d go in an hour long rant and even pull out a (horribly made) presentation
finn hudson hater
Bela
walked in on cass, dani and angie watching the cheesus christ episode and decided to never even consider watching the show herself. she actively avoids it (good for her)
tho she can’t avoid it, they probably made her sit down and watch at least one ep with them
Dani
hasn’t seen the whole show but seen a few episodes with angie and cass. and has seen so many out of context clips
thinks it’s hilarious and would watch just to have a good time (also she thinks its funny seeing cass genuinely lose her shit every ep)
i’m sorry but i think she’d skip the songs
Angie
hasn’t seen all the eps and only watched because she thinks its peak comedy
says the worst takes on purpose because she knows cass would be pissed
quotes the show all the time but rarely anyone gets it (its for the best)
makes a “cant read” joke every time rachel berry pops up on screen
has glee songs on her playlist but most are ironic like trouty mouth and run joey run
Miranda
are you kidding me. shes literally sue sylvester
but she will never be watching this show
honestly one clip of it could kill her. shes not even surviving that muppet episode

Sweet Prime!Sonic Moments
My favorite scene in Sonic Prime should be a great start.
Episode: 5 “Barking Up The Wrong Tree.”
Tumblr media
First thing I want to establish!
Episode 4 “Unwelcome To The Jungle,” and 5 made me laugh the most. Random I know, but I believe they have some of the best jokes and character interactions.
From Gnarly Knuckles acting like Sticks from Sonic Boom. To Hangry Big having one of the most normal line deliveries done for him.
“A shard? We don’t know...”
Then the episodes gave Sonic moments of annoyance and frustration with the scavengers and Thorn’s shenanigans. We could use more of Sonic being done with everything. It’s so entertaining.
(It also reminds me of Boom!Sonic so that’s an extra point.)
I wouldn’t say this show is perfect. Far from it actually. But I do appreciate what new sides to Sonic the show brings to the table.
Without further ado, let’s get into the overanalyzed ramble pile.
Quick recap
After Sonic’s argument with Thorn about finding a better way to express herself to her use to be friends and to figure out how to take better care of the jungle, Sonic responds with this:
Tumblr media
Then he runs off to get Thorn to follow him. Which means Sonic already had an idea to get Thorn to come to her senses.
Side note. Even if Prime!Sonic isn’t the brightest, I wouldn’t say he’s dumb.
(Mostly)
In combat he’s able to trick/fool people or enemies plenty of times. Even in this scene Sonic tricks Thorn into lunching her hammer to allow sunlight into the unhealthy jungle.
Then we end up here. The scene that made me love this version of the character more then I already did:
Yes, the ear twitch at the end was added on purpose.
I find it hilarious this dude could have went on with his plan without really saying anything to the tree. Obviously this scene would’ve been boring without any dialogue, but to me it gives the impression Sonic has a soft spot for nature.
Environmentalism has always been the key point for the majority of this franchise. I also like in most media Sonic’s been a flower loving guy. It seems to be a consistent thing that Sonic has an appreciation for plants. Talking about how pretty they are. Having knowledge about them and so on.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Back to the scene. Sonic talks to The Great Green. Not a surprise since he talks to Flickies in this show too.
Tumblr media
I don’t know why, but I just love the fact Sonic took time to reassure the tree he’s got things under-control. Even giving it a little pat to show affection.
Tumblr media
Sonic even hugs a palm tree later on in the show which I find hilarious and cute.
Tumblr media
In terms of characterization, I believe this scene is a brilliant way of showing how this character is in general. Sonic having sympathy for the tree while it’s branches goes down. Sonic’s worry for Thorn and how much she’s lost it by being overprotective and practically destroying the main thing she tried to protect. Proving how much he does his best to find some kind of connection to what is basically a stranger. Despite how similar Thorn and Amy are. Then the blue blur tells The Great Green he has a plan in mind.
Sonic: “I know just trust me.”
You’re NOT the Lorax, Sonic. Jokes aside, I like how Sonic clarifies to the tree he’s going to be careful.
Sonic later on:
Tumblr media
This shows a bit of growth compared to the first episode. At least Sonic’s not being reckless this time and knows what he’s doing.
The music in this scene is nice too. I don’t think enough people talk about how great the music is in this show. I’ll say it’s another highlight for me.
I also love the angle of the weak tree looking down at Sonic’s cherry optimistic self. The leaves falling here and latter on in this episode are VERY nice touches.
Don’t get me started on the voice acting here. Deven Mack is my favorite Sonic VA. Not because he sounds better then the others, but he takes what makes ALL of them great and combines them into one. Deven has so much range it’s not even funny. Also if someone told me Sonic was voiced by an actual teen here, I would’ve believed them. Hot take! Prime!Sonic sounds younger then Movie!Sonic if I’m being honest.
Also, even though I’m not an animator, I believe the character models in Prime has some of the BEST facial expressions for the Modern Sonic cast has EVER had in 3D. I think they have the widest range of emotions. I’m fine with anyone who disagrees though.
In conclusion. This scene solidifies something about Prime!Sonic I believe most who love him would agree with. He’s by far the sweetest version of Sonic The Hedgehog. At least from what I’ve seen so far. Not to say other versions don’t have their moments too. It’s only due to this and other moments I may talk about in the future that makes Prime!Sonic my favorite. Hope you enjoy my little character geek out.
Stay Creative! 💜

as someone from northern usa who’s considering moving i would love to hear more about the culture shock you experienced if you’d like to share
I have to begin with a few caveats, which is that I am making sweeping generalizations that will probably not hold true across race/class/gender lines, or in all situations, etc. but in my experience, as a lifelong Houstonian who spent significant time in places including Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, people in the Gulf Coast south are much more open to being friendly with strangers than people further north. Waving and making conversation with people you may not know but see often is the norm. A stranger on the bus or in line might comment on your haircut, tattoos, and start up a conversation. People might join you at a table at an outdoor coffeehouse for a little chit-chat. Generally if you can prove you are cool, open to low-stakes friendly small-talk, you can get pretty far even with people like cashiers or servers.
In comparison i found northern people to be pretty hostile across the board. Just not warm the same way. I realized that they never meant anything by it, but I'd be out on a walk and wave at my neighbors only to get stared at with disgusted confusion. I'd make a remark about the weather at checkout and be answered with a confrontational "OK?". Even my coworkers took a long time to warm up to me. I was pretty hurt and confused about why all my attempts to make polite conversation fell totally flat. I tried to tell a guy without an umbrella on the street that rain was in the forecast and he just straight up scoffed at me. A housemate in Massachusetts told me "When I met you I didn't know why you were being nice all the time, but now I know it's because you're nice." I'm not even that nice! I had another Mass housemate ask if I was angry at them because I was sitting out on the porch enjoying myself after work-- all these houses had porches and not a single person came out to sit on them. Like yes, there was a discharge of firearms across the street but that was an unusual circumstance (heavy drinking, frat boys). No one got hurt. The weather's nice, the vibes are good, why not sit outside and wave at people?
To this day I can't stand it when people want something from me but won't offer even a perfunctory "good morning" and just launch straight into their purpose. Say hello to me! If I get to work and people start immediately on work conversations I will stop them and make them go through a "Good morning, how are you?" exchange because god damn it, there has to be rules! Be courteous to me!!!
I also find that southern people are much more likely to couch their criticisms more gently or just not remark on something they think is ridiculous/stupid/ugly, whereas northern people will absolutely let you fucking know they hate whatever xyz thing you're doing/wearing. Funny example: I was part of an outdoor walking tour in Mass when two local guys came up and started openly gawking at the very idea of a historic walking tour. "What is this? Some kind of class?" One then looked at me and said "Well, don't have too much fun!" in a disgusted tone. It was hilarious.
Again, there are jerks in Houston (and plenty of bigots and racists) so I don't want to paint too rosy a picture, and the character of Htown specifically is change rapidly due to immigration from within the United States, but I found the rules were pretty similar in other southern states I've since worked in or passed through.

Okay. Theory time.
So in recent chapters, I’ve noticed Rei… shrink a little.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
In these panels, she appears to be a little shorter than Fuyumi, cool, makes sense right.
But compare that to what we’ve seen from her before…
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, whichever you go with as her canon height, it implies that Rei either shrunk at least a little, or one heck of a lot.
Because, the canon heights of the Todoroki’s are:
Enji: 195cm
Natsuo: 181cm
Touya: 176cm
Shouto: 176cm
Fuyumi: 160cm
If we take image one as her canon height, she’s shown to be slightly taller than Shouto which could place her anywhere from about 177-180cm (this is a rough estimate, and it could also be that she’s the exact same height as him, they’re standing weird).
If we take image two as her canon height, her height would be about 170cm, the same height as Elsa from Frozen (that’s not relevant, I just think it’s funny). The reason why THIS could make sense, is because image one could be chalked up to Rei being drawn taller for ✨symbolism✨ purposes, show she’s grown as a person, and because she seems to be most consistently drawn that way:
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, you could dispute this by saying Enji’s drawn taller than her to symbolize the power dynamic, and her growth spurt in the “Keeping up with the Todoroki Chapters” is supposed to symbolize her gaining control and power over a situation, and I WOULD be into that and agree, BUT.
Tumblr media
After all that, she’s drawn shorter than FUYUMI, who’s anywhere between 10-20cm behind Rei’s height estimate (her height difference with Natsuo also makes little sense, but I digress).
Which leads us to my three main theories.
1. Horikoshi just… forgot
So if you missed the entire point of this post, Rei doesn’t have a confirmed height. That’s because she is the ONLY member of the Todoroki Family without a character profile, which is still so baffling to me.
Rei is just as, if not more, plot relevant than Fuyumi and Natsuo, and I feel like the time for her character profile should’ve come about 40 Chapters ago, but alas.
And I feel like, if you don’t really have a set height for a character, you’re gonna mess up that characters height quite a bit. I’m not necessarily angry at Horikoshi for this, that would be a little a weird, especially if it was just an honest fuck up. However. I do feel like he should’ve AT LEAST set a height for her, for one it would stop dumbasses like me from making shit posts like this.
2. The heights in BNHA are fucked
Theory 2, basically the heights in BNHA have always been very inconsistent, and I’m just reading way too deep here. This is the shortest one, and the one that makes the most sense, let’s get into the nonsense now :)
3. That’s not Rei
You might be wondering why I’m spewing such nonsense, but bare with me here.
The reason why Rei’s shorter is because that’s Geten.
So to refresh everyone’s memory, Geten has recently been arrested, and while admittedly, I am still depressed as fucckkk over that, I would also like to argue how easy it is for him to escape.
Thousands upon thousands of Villains were arrested post the PLF War, and I’m gonna go out on a limb here and say that would absolutely fuck over the Japanese prison system. My point is it would be very easy for one to slip by.
That brings us to my two sub-theories for this one, all of which involve Geten and Rei being related, so be warned.
1. An Us style switch took place and no one noticed.
So this theory basically involves Rei going to visit Geten in Jail, to like help interrogations or just to be there for a weird family member, and then boom! Switcheroo! This would mean Rei is being held against her will in some Prison at the moment, which wouldn’t be too far off from where she was through 99% of the series. Now, this could imply that Geten’s collecting intel at UA to assist the Villains in destroying society, which story wise would be insane, but so is everything else in BNHA now, so I don’t CARE. This would also mean that Geten has just been chilling at UA patiently waiting for the right moment to strike this whole time, and I feel like that moment would be coming up right about now. Also just imagine the drama, like UA starts going to shit, with Sk*ptics hacking and shit, and just when a hero is calming everyone down, BOOM! Avalanche. And then Fuyumi and Natsuo would get to be like “…mom…what???” And then Geten’s like “I’m not your mom and I can’t believe you fell for that for MONTHS”. It’d be so fucking funny, and I don’t even think it’s that out of place for this current arc, like if BNHA is gonna be dumb, it might as well be insane.
Theory 2: they’re switching willingly because Rei is a twist villain TM
Theory 2 involves Rei and Geten’s combined one Braincell just continuously fooling the prison guards by switching places every couple weeks. Does it make sense? No but it’s funny. Like imagine Rei stepping in an overcrowded cell like “family drama is killing me, you can clock in early this time” and then she pulls out a jail suit that’s her size and bonds with the other MLA members in jail by braiding their hair or something while Geten has to deal with Shouto venting about Dabi. This would also imply that they straight up don’t notice whenever their mom shrinks and becomes increasingly angrier and feral, which happens like every two weeks. My argument to that is they think it’s a mental health thing, Shouto probably assumes it’s a period thing because he’s a moron. “Oh mom shrunk and bit Mr Aizawa again, must be her time of the month :|”. It’s also funny to think that they get mixed up and like both end up going to a piano recital at UA simultaneously or some shit, and just no one notices. Like they’re standing next to each other like “the fuck??? You should be in JAIL, it’s MY day out” and class a’s just standing there like “woah did fuyumi dye her hair like natsuo? :0 wonder what they’re fighting about”. it involves a lot of suspension of disbelief, but like what else is new. I feel like I’m this context Rei would also be an MLA member, and have provided them with intel during her time in the mental hospital. like endys entire private life. also y’know stock standard “she’s geten’s mom” thing lol.
Anyway, at the end of the day it doesn’t matter which theory it is, because it would get us to the same place. That is, Geten, this like 17-19 unhinged, feral child pretending to be some middle aged mom and it WORKING. Why? Because the Todoroki family is illiterate when it comes to mental health and they’d probably just be like “well moms been in a mental hospital for a while, maybe this is just her personality now, she tore into dad back there so :p“.
At the end of the day, is any of this canon, no. Would I like to see it because it’s absolutely unhinged? Yes. I need this in my life guys. Horikoshi is unfortunately a COWARD, and will not make this happen, so I’ll probably just make an AU out of it and call it a day. Would be fun.

Look, am I completely biased towards Parker because she’s my favorite Leverage character and one of my favorite characters ever? Yes.
Am I still right that Leverage: Redemption (especially season 2) functionally ignores her? Also yes.
The closest we come to getting a Parker-centric episode in Redemption is The Paranormal Hacktivity Job and The Date Night Job. (I’m counting a Parker-centric episode as one where her emotional arc is the one with the most weight/screentime. I can see an argument for The Hurricane Job being Parker-centric in the same way as The Date Night Job but I think Eliot’s arc is given precedent and also I hate The Hurricane Job.) That’s one episode out of 16/13 per season. I can also count on one hand the number of emotional moments she gets outside of those episodes (her convo about Hardison leaving, her being nervous about mentoring Breanna, her being worried about Eliot leaving, her giving Eliot advice about Maria, and I’m literally blanking on any from season 2). Everyone else, new and old, get to have episodes where they face an exceptional challenge, confront their past or something that reminds them of their past, or just get too invested in the client like in og Leverage. But not Parker! She just is there to be comic relief where the joke is look at how weird and zany she is. And sometimes she is allowed to mention that she misses Hardison. (Actually it does feel a little like the show doesn’t know what to do with her without Hardison, and seems to forget that her relationships with Sophie and Eliot are just as deep and important to her as her relationship with Hardison. Which is a little yikes.)
(Also I don’t have a better place to put this but Sophie sending Breanna along with Parker when Eliot’s going to visit his father because apparently nobody trusts Parker to be emotionally competent enough to handle the situation was a line seemingly constructed as a personal attack against me. Parker has been Eliot’s friend for fifteen years! Sophie once believed in her ability to connect to people despite her neurodivergence! Did the writers of this show even watch The White Rabbit Job?!?!)
I was foolish enough for one second to think that The Museum Makeover Job would be about her. One of her international teams need help, and they’re up against an Interpol agent she has a past with. Surely, we will get to see her go into Mastermind mode or reflect on a past job that had emotional weight or confront something challenging for her or get too invested in the con or— oh wait, the Interpol agent is Sophie’s daughter and the whole thing is a ploy to get revenge on her and she and Eliot will have their deep convo about redemption and purpose while Parker talks about vents for the dozenth time? Cool. (And not to be exceedingly bitter, but then also the whole joke is that Parker’s actually the one overly invested in her rivalry and it isn’t important at all to Astrid and we never get a beat of resolution for that at all. Thanks, I hate it.)
My bias might be showing, but Parker is the character in the og series that grows the most, and watching her development is one of the great joys of the original series. She becomes the Mastermind because of how much she learns and changes in front of us. She was allowed to be funny and competent and weird but also emotional and scared and loving and she got to feel things and to learn things and to be things. I used to think that Redemption was exaggerating her neurodivergence in a way that felt ooc, and while that might have some merit, I think the real issue is that they just took away everything else that made her a character. Her being WeirdTM and a TheifTM and ParkerTM is all that remains to a once complex and revolutionary character.
Maybe I should just be glad that I don’t have to watch Redemption potentially butcher her character on the main stage instead of in the background. But it does leave a pretty bad taste in my mouth that she is uniquely sidelined and ignored by a show that once ended by handing her the reigns.

Someone told will Tkk dump Jimin like a trash and lemme tell you, they may do it. I think this is what happened.
Now I highly doubt whether tkk had some sort of relationship before JK got serious with Jimin. The reason there's many tkk shippers since starting was because they were always together in older contents. You know they were young and hormonal some awkward things may have happened between them out of curiosity or experimenting. But then kept it a secret. It was later JK began falling for JM and poor JM trusted him and got into a relationship.
And Maybe that's how tkk got awkward. Imagine u hooked up with your friend and then few yrs later start dating another friend from same gang ??? Then that awkwardness went till Jimin himself took a lead to reconcile them. And it backfired him because his bf slowly started getting too much close to Tae, who he was 'extremely' close before. Since then it's lesser and lesser Jkk moments and no hanging outside of work while Tkk doing everything together, Like how they were used to do. (Tae, even today, spoke about JK unprovoked while not even uttering a word about his so called best friend Jimin, along with plethora of other tkk moments happening now ) I think they got so close to the point they started from where they stopped previously and slowly get rid of Jimin from Jk's life. Now they successfully got rid of him, tkk back together.
Remember there was a time Jimin was so sad and stressed, told he feels lonely, like his trust is broken etc? But luckily I think Jimin is strong enough to stand for himself. Not minding what Jk or tae does anymore. He's just concentrating on his work and spend most time there. I hope he don't get sad over people who didn't valued him and dumped him and find someone loves and treasures him, that's what he deserves.
I'd say I would be eagerly awaiting the next chapter in this book you've created in your head, but I have to say that I tend to actively avoid tropes like this in the romance books I do read and will immediately put the book down if it gets too far fetched into the angsty love triangles in either the romance book or romance subplot in whatever I'm reading. But you know, that's just one girls opinion. Plently of people eat up this angsty teen drama type things. So if you put a little more effort in, you could really have something here! Good luck with your future writing endeavors anon. Perhaps leave BTS out of it though, they aren't ACTUALLY characters in your angsty teen drama. But real people. Let me know if you work out some the kinks here and start actually writing. I'll be happy for you 💜
Tumblr media
My inbox could currently be submitted for psychological study purposes 😅 this one was funny though. I'm not bothering with the rest. You know, I'd be happy to talk about the tk sighting and recent times hanging out and call them cute.... if someone could do it without shading someone else, either one of the members or jkkrs or tkkrs.... like Damn. Where is the chill?

based on: obx
characters: rafe x reader, topper, kelce
warnings: language, threats, violence
w/c: 1k
summary: Cornered by Kelce and Topper while making deliveries on the Figure 8, an unlikely hero comes in to save the day.
idk what this is really, i inspired by tame impala’s song: one more hour
Tumblr media
“The hell are you doing on our side of the island, Pogue?” Kelce sneered, his head cocked to the side slightly as he glared at you.
You ignored him, keeping your head down and trying to focus on finishing your job. You’d offered to help Pope’s dad with a few deliveries and, of course, that meant dropping some orders off at the Figure 8. Just your luck that you’d run into your least favorite Kooks in the process.
“Hey!” Topper raised his voice, narrowing his eyes at you, “My friend here asked you a question, how about you show him some respect?”
You rolled your eyes, looking up from the bags you had just placed outside the door of whoever had ordered them, “It’s kind of my job to be here,” you walked toward your car that was parked along the curb, grimacing when they followed close behind.
“Where’s Rafe? I’m sure you’re both feeling a lack of purpose without him,” you spat, almost immediately regretting your decision to engage with them as Topper’s eyes lit up.
“Where’s your piece of shit boyfriend?” He fired back, “You still with JJ? Or did you finally realize he’s been fucking Kiara behind your back?”
You bit your tongue, glare hardening as you resisted the urge to lunge at him, “Do you two really not have anything better to do than give me a hard time?”
“Woah, woah!” Topper mockingly put his hands in the air in defense, “We’re just two concerned members of our community,”
“We can’t turn a blind eye to low-lifes showing up in our neighborhood…” Kelce added, “Even if they happen to be hot…”
You scowled at him, folding your arms across your chest, “Oh, screw off Kelce-”
“Or what?” Topper cut you off, raising a brow as he spoke. He took a few steps toward you, Kelce doing the same. You instinctively stepped back, heart sinking when your back pressed up against your car, leaving you with nowhere to go.
“I won’t lie,” Kelece admitted, looking at Topper as he spoke, “I’ve thought about what it would be like to get with a pogue,”
Topper smirked, the two towering over you, “Y/N’s not too bad of an option… ” He leaned forward, putting his hand against the car and caging you in with his arm, “What do you think, Y/N? Wanna get with a Kook?”
You’re glare harderend, “You’re fucking disgusting,” you turned, yanking on the handle of your car door, but Topper easily pushed it closed the moment you got it open.
“Come on, Y/N,” Topper dragged out your name as he spoke, “You’re really gonna tell me you've never thought about it?”
“No. I’ve never thought about getting with assholes like you,” you said firmly, your annoyance clear in your voice, “Now get the hell away from my car,”
They ignored your demand and Topper kept his hand on your door, clearly enjoying watching you try, and fail, to pull it open.
“You guys are assholes,” you hissed, shoving Topper’s arm and storming past him, attempting to make it to the passenger door.
Topper grabbed your wrist before you made it two steps and you were stopped in your tracks by his harsh grip, “Y/N, don’t be ridiculous. We’re just having a friendly conversation,”
The way he was looking at you made your skin crawl, “Let go.”
Topper raised a brow, “You know, for being a visitor on our side of the island, you sure are being a bitch,” he looked over at Kelce who was nodding in agreement, “You should lighten up,” he said nonchalantly, his smile growing because he could tell he was getting under your skin.
“Topper, seriously, this isn’t funny,” you writhed against his grip, trying to pry him off, “Let go-”
Suddenly Topper was practically thrown off of you, falling to the ground as someone hit him from behind. He was quick to get up, his look of anger shifting to surprise when he was faced with Rafe standing above him.
Your chest tightened, not sure where this situation was going to go. Rafe was breathing heavily, his chest heaving as he glared down at Topper. His voice was low as he spoke, “She told you to let go. Twice.”
What the hell? Was Rafe Cameron defending you?
“Christ, Rafe,” Topper stood up, brushing himself off, “The hell’s your problem- we’re just having a little fun,”
“Well, go do that shit somewhere else,”
Topper and Kelce gave him confused looks, “Come on, man. She’s just a pogue,” Topper scoffed, gesturing your way, “What’s your deal? Kelce and I were just having a little fun. I mean, she’s hot and-”
That was the wrong thing to say.
Topper was met with a solid blow to his nose, staggering back in shock and pain.
“Dude!” Kelce steeped back, staring at Rafe with wide eyes.
“What the fuck?” Topper wiped the blood from his nose, glaring at Topper as anger coursed through him. Topper stepped toward his so-called friend... mistake number two.
Whatever rage Rafe was holding inside of him came pouring out all at once as he lunged at Topper again, the two dropping to the ground in their fight. Rafe managed to get the upper hand and position himself above Topper, sending blow after blow.
“Rafe! Rafe, stop! He’s had enough!” Kelce yelled at his friend to stop, but didn’t intervene. Rafe was pissed and the last thing he wanted was to be on the ground next to Topper.
Rafe was panting, sending one final punch to Topper’s jaw before standing up, “I said, do that shit somewhere else,” he snapped, repeating his previous words.
Rafe glanced over at your shocked frame, “Are you okay?” His voice was even when he spoke to you, a stark difference compared to his anger toward his friends. You couldn’t quite place the way he was looking at you… It almost looked like he was genuinely concerned about you.
His words left you nearly speechless. Rafe had never been nice to you- hell, you were a pogue, he wanted nothing to do with you.
He raised his brows when you didn’t answer him. You found yourself nodding quickly.
Rafe seemed content enough with your reply and stalked off to wherever he had come from.
Still dumbfounded and with more questions than you possibly could have answers for, you climbed into your car and locked the door. Not taking any chances with Kelce and Topper right outside, even though Topper definitely wouldn’t be getting up any time soon... Your mind was racing. Had that really just happened? Had Rafe really defended you? What the hell did any of this mean? You drove off with no answers and the burning desire to know why Rafe had stood up against his own best friends for you. Maybe Rafe Cameron wasn’t as bad of a guy as you had thought...

I’m confused by that last anon. What did this Twitter account do?
I don’t want to get into a ton of blog on blog drama, but I’ll give you the run down. At least from our perspective looking at it all. I will not name any names here, even though some of you sent us detailed info on all of these accounts and most of you will already know who this is about, because I don’t want to see anyone doxxed and I don’t want to see any hate sent to these blogs. So please do not do those things. Let’s all be better than that. And again, I don’t know their exact intentions, but this is how it all looked from our point of view.
Another blog decided to pretend to see Chris in Disney and made up a story to go along with it. While one blog claims it was just a silly picture of Buzz Lightyear and it was a joke the fandom misinterpreted, the other blogs kept telling others to look at a man in the corner of the picture. A man who wasn’t facing the camera but had similar features to Chris. They then kept adding in to the story. Basically Chris and Josh were walking around Disney with a cast member. No one else was there. A handful of other blogs ran with it and essentially trolled the fandom with a false sighting of Chris in Disney. Some people believed it right away, but others wanted to wait for more picture proof because you couldn’t see the alleged man’s face. That’s where we were with it. But those blogs putting out the false sighting ran with it being Chris all day. The lie was outed later that evening when a guy spotted Chris at the gym in Massachusetts and included a picture.
In the meantime, a twitter account with a very similar name to one of those blogs (with one follower and zero tweets that was just created in January) tweeted they saw Alba. The tweet is now deleted. Since then, another tweet appeared on the account and it was of a character from Once Upon a Time. The same character that a blog that enjoys spreading lies and was part of this fandom trolling/false sighting attempt is themed after.
When the blogs got caught lying, they said they did it on purpose to troll Alba and her team to see if they’d try to place her in Disney with Chris. They’re claiming they were successful because of that tweet sighting. That was proof her team stalks the fandom and works to troll us. They’re claiming her team took the bait of the Chris Disney sighting (which was fake) and tried to place her where he was to prove they troll the fandom and that her team has no idea where he really is because they aren’t actually together.
They also claimed after the real sighting of Chris in the gym came out that they had known all along Chris was in MA all day. But it’s funny to me how they always know these things “after” the fact and never before. If they knew he was at home, I don’t understand why they did all of this. They claim it was to troll Alba but I’m personally not buying that. They ran the risk of their lie being outed by a real spotting just like it was if that was the case. What they inevitably ended up doing was trolling an entire fandom for the whole day. And to me personally? It just isn’t cool. This fandom is tired and exhausted. There’s so much drama and everyone is just over it. Why others would feel compelled to add to that? I don’t know. But it was a poor choice to have made.
To further add to things, as soon as that Alba sighting tweet was up, people also sent sightings of Alba in asks to other Chris blogs. We got it too, but didn’t post it because there was 0 proof Alba was there, and we were still unsure if Chris was as well. We were even sent flight info to further back up he was there, but again, didn’t post it because it came with no evidence. And without a manifest, there’s no way to prove it’s his flight. Turns out it wasn’t. I have to wonder if those asks were from other people in the fandom watching this all happen as it happened, or if they were from the people who created the false sighting to begin with to help spread the story of the fake sighting to make it more believable.
So basically, because of other lies they’ve told, how everything went down with this trolling attempt, the similarities between the tumblr accounts and the twitter account that claimed to spot Alba, and the bits of info in our inbox we didn’t post, there are a lot of people who feel that one of those blogs was behind the twitter account that posted the Alba sighting to further the narrative of whatever they’re doing over there with trying to prove the relationship is fake. Was it an intentional plan by them to do all of this and it got foiled by a real sighting or just a bunch of coincidences? I know what I think, but your opinion is for you to decide.

My thoughts on RWRB, in no particular order because my brain doesn't work like that:
SPOILERS AHEAD
These are my opinions/thoughts after the first watch through (of course I'm gonna re-watch several times) but don't be mad at me please I'm sensitive
Things I loved
I spent the first full hour smiling and laughing. It put the Com in Romcom. And then the lake scene plunged me into a pit of despair, but in a good way.
Alex was Alex and Henry and was Henry. Like Nick and Taylor really got their characters and did them so much justice and the chemistry was chemistry-ing
Miguel! He was fun and flirty. I wasn't expecting him at all but I think his addition really worked for two reasons: it saved Alex time in figuring out his sexuality so we get ahead into him + Henry, and it gave an explanation for the leaking of the emails without being as politically charged as in the book, because some people, especially if they're not American, don't care about that part as much
Amy is so fucking funny
Zahra is even more funny
Casting! Pez was perfect! Philip was amazing! Papa Diaz delivered the dad vibes for sure. I wish Bea had more screen time. Shaan was good (and very handsome) And don't get me started on UMA FUCKING THERMAN!!
I know we'd have preferred to have both June and Nora but I think that for the purpose she served to the plot just Nora was fine. Movie!Nora was a combination of book!Nora and June. It worked.
GET LOW GET LOW GET LOW
Henry pretending to look for a book when Amy comes into the red room absolutely killeddddd me
Ellen talking about getting Alex on Truvada. Real AF.
Henry doing karaoke!
"I thought Alexander Gabriel Claremont-Diaz was a mouthful." "He is."
"Shut up stop talking" and "You're late", followed by him trying to close the door
The texting/messaging and emails. They included enough for you to get the idea and to show the passage of time and they did in a cool way that didn't take too much of the screen time. Also Henry being "in the room" when they're on the phone was so cute!
Alex being nervous and awkward about having sex with Henry was perfect! It felt very real
Criticisms:
Henry going to fidget with his ring, realizing Alex is wearing it, and that little smile at each other. Fucking beautiful
Alex reading OLS
I wanted Henry singing God save the King
We didn't get to see Catherine? But at least she didn't get Juned.
No powerpoint??? Even though Ellen giving him the talk was plenty funny.
Fucking eyelashes! Miguel mentioned them, but I don't think Herny did? Why notttt??
Random but I would have rather had the conversation in the tack room than the whole polo mantage. We get it, he's hot.
Leo?!? I knew June wasn't there but his parents still being together was so random to me? Not necessarily bad just random.
I really wanted to see Alex standing in the rain...also the dialog there kinda threw me off? Like I know it was heartfelt and emotional or whatever but the "and I'll bother you no longer" part didn't feel like that version of Alex. Kinda took me out of the moment.
Maybe I just wanted more Stephen Fry, but that resolution was a little too easy/cheesy
Idk if it was my ADHD or Taylor's pronunciation but I had to turn on the subtitles because I kept not understanding him?
Questions:
Did they have to change Henry's name? Like bc of the actual royal family?
Can the presidents spouse still have a seat in Congress? Is that allowed?

[GBF] Unbound Asterism
I'm not sure where I'm going with this one. Like, some sort of a messy review, maybe?
First, how does GBF's creative team always manage to churn out topnotch, eye catching, and overall to-die-for character designs??? Saying GBF has a lot of characters is an understatement, because, well, if you're a player you'll just know what I'm talking about. The game has such massive casts. Despite that, there'll always be a new character that's unlike the previous ones.
How is it they have not run out of ideas yet, seriously.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Well, I suppose that's what makes GBF is a long-running game with loyal player base... One of the reason, at least. People enjoy playing it for different reasons. And while I do appreciate GBF's seemingly never-ending beauty of designs, nothing has made me stayed more than the story itself. Be it main story or event stories or personal stories (fate episodes), it always surprises me how engaging and believable they're written.
Case in point: Unbound Asterism
At the moment of writing this, the event has just started (August 29, 2023) but I've finished reading all available chapters. It's a sequel to Marionette Stars, a new series that tells about the Horoscopes.
My impression is... nothing. Nothing I can put into words I mean. So much things run through my head at once.
To begin with, Marionette Stars isn't a series I had included in my top 3 when I wrote a list of my favourite stories back then. This is not to say that they're not enjoyable, but GBF has so much to offer that I just picked whatever was more enjoyable than the Horoscopes series at that time. The same can be said about the characters of the series. I like Troue, Manamel, Cupitan, etc. but not on the same level as Sandalphon, Lucifer, or Belial from the Archangel series.
But with the addition of Unbound Asterism to the series... my god, I really don't know what to say. It's intense, fast-paced but perfectly-executed, intriguing, just simply what I'd describe as experiencing all emotions at once. The sheer complexity of events, characters, settings and how they interact to make an intricate plot, while at the same time being easy to follow/read, is nothing short of perfection to me. It's delivered in a way that keeps me on edge, always want for more.
By the end of Unbound Asterism, I've come to get attached to all of the casts, despite being indifferent prior. Ragazzo, Ferdinand, Lavirita... they all taught me so much on how to write a believable and villain. Tikoh, Fiorito, Feather, Randall, Kokulu, Manamel, and everyone really, I go from knowing them by name only to knowing all of their back stories now.
And Cupitan... oh god... For what purpose it is the writer team went so hard with her and Tristette's scene. This is not a complaint, just to be clear. But I... really can't believe something of such a scale occurring in a regular event rather than an anniversary. The overall delivery is as impactful, if not more, as 000 (third installment of Archangel series) or ... And You (9th anniversary event). And personally, I find Unbound Asterism way, way, way more impactful than Home Sweet Home (7th anniversary) or Created by the Stars, Loved by the Skies (8th anniversary).
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
⬆ The gravity of this particular scene blew my mind ⬆
Lastly, well, not so important points. I just took screenshots because it's funny (on Feather's part) and it reminds me how GBF seamlessly weave philosophical subtext every now and then into its plot without making the whole story suffocating.
