Another possibility to add a bit of internal conflict to the au: One of them (I'm imagining Roxy, but that's probably because she's the one I end up projecting onto most) is uncertain about whether they /like/ like the others, or if this is just, you know, what having friends is like. Made extra complicated by the fact that they're having these feelings for *two* people, so these feelings of wanting to spend every moment with them, wanting to curl up and fall asleep beside them, etc, *clearly* those are platonic, because they can't be crushing on two others at once... right??

I love this

Roxy doesn't have many friends and she loves each of them differently so she's just. So confused on just how different Chica and Monty make her feel. Just going around quizzing everyone she knows who've had romantic relationships on what it feels like to be in love with someone until she figures it out. I'm thinking I might bring her mum in for this specifically for the chaos of Bonnie and Roxy during a family game night that somehow leads to their mum helping Roxy figure out her feelings.

Bonnie has of course, known almost the entire time and has been teasing her accordingly. And is also giving her advice on how to confess that keeps going horribly wrong until DJ intervenes and sets her on the right path.

Bonnie after they're all together like "See? I told you you could do it!" "YOU TOLD ME TO USE THE KIND OF PICK UP LINES YOU'D FIND IN A FUCKING CHRISTMAS CRACKER" "What?? Me?? I would never!"

But you know what? Monty would probably have this problem too. He could have Foxy acting as his wingman and it go super well with the only downside being that he chickens out every time. He probably assumes this is all platonic for the longest time because come on, it's two people! He was always told romance was for one special someone! Not two! He and Roxy both get to learn what polyamory is together lmao

Chica has actually had an extensive love life so she clicks on way before the other two. She has to live with the knowledge she has fallen for her two best friends for a very long time, her life is pain. She has two loves of her life and she is drowning.

I finally finished this, YAY! This animatic is a mix of digital and traditional art. I definitely learned a lot of tricks while making this (also, can you notice the slight difference between art styles??).

This animatic singlehandedly explains what happened to JD after his mom sacrificed him. He was definitely ready to accept his faith until he discovered Branch's was with him (which almost gave him a panic attack). It was a good thing that everyone decided to help him, and Liam (a troll around his age, maybe older?) helped him escape.

Y'know what I think would be hilarious for a DP and PJO crossover? Percy & co finally getting to Kronos, straight up ready for anything after they pass through magic and portal of green and-

There's the smell of cookies. Freshly baked cookies, a warm oven, something about it reminding them of home in this strange place of floating gears and ticking clocks.

And there's a long, serpentine tail twisting through the gears, twisting up and down and across in a size that could hides yet reveals just how large this entity is. There's power soaking into every inch of this place, every centimeter nearly sending lightning up their legs with each step.

The ticking is getting stronger, a distant gonging of the hour echoing through a place that should feel cold and empty like the ringing of bells in the end of times.

And suddenly there's a kid- a teen like them, human yet not- with a cookie half in their mouth and hair flickering like the cosmos as they peer down from above them with a frown, eyes brighter than the sun yet darker than the moon.

Accidently cooked up a silly little au the other day that I am very much enjoying gonna. talk about it under the cut because4 the FUCKING WORMS

OKAY so basically. literally everythign is the same except for the fact that. Ed got entirely yoinked instead of Alphonse. I dunno why that happens but. It does because I say so. Anyways. So this basically mean that Ed gets bonded to an armor instead of Al, and because I desperately wanted the secondary set of Armor to see some light I thought it would be funny to bond Ed to that instead. I haven't fleshed everything out, but as I'm working on that I wanna add a few of the different things in here just because. And I still might tweak things if I think it doesn't make sense. - Al lost his arm first, then traded his tongue and his eye to bond Ed to the armor, making him effectively mute. He's learned ASL and Ed has to translate for him a lot. Although in my hcs Al is a foodie so like. major bummer for taste buds. He likes fun textures and stuff though. I gotta figure out what problems this poses though so we'll figure that out. - Al most likely is going to go into being a state alchemist just for the fact of staying somewhat close to the storyline and stuff. and I don't know, insert random reasoning in here. Yeah - just a little design note. uhmmmmm I thought the cross thing on Ed's head/helm was cool and I had the bright idea of like "hey what if I put the emblem like. through the cross yk" and I might not do that. But at the moment it looks cool to me. so yeah. I'M STILL TOYING WITH THINGS. . . I have to figure out what happens and designs and stuff. but yeah. I think that covers. what I have for now. p sick. scuttles away

I think its interesting how vox is, quite literally a cheap knock off version of alastor. I mean from the fluctuating voices to the disappearing into thin air with their magic [alastor with his shadow and vox with his gadgets] and even the caring about his team just to fulfil his own agenda he is an exact copy, like, TO A TEE

And I feel like before the big fight, they probably had a sort of mentor-mentee relationship. Vox probably looked up to alastor alot, and you know alastor, he loves having power over everyone. So he definitely relished the idea of this impressionable demon following him around like an idol, copying his every move, praising him on every small thing.

To Vox , he genuinely thought alastor was showing him teaching him his ways but I think alastor just kept him around as a constant ego boost.

And I think all that crumpled when Vox started getting too close. The student was going to surpass the teacher, and obviously, alastor can't have that. He had to nip it in the bud, stop it from getting worse. Turn him into an enemy instead.

And Its like they say you know;
